365 Day Challenge Day 15

Hi everyone! It’s Sunday and there’s no school tomorrow – Heaven! You know I love having my babies with me. I hate reading on FB my friends who say, “Oh no – school’s out tomorrow – can’t wait till the kids go back!” I always feel like that’s such awful parenting. I’ve had a great day so far – slept till 10:50 AM! Then got up and made brunch for my family of egg McTiffs on English muffins (egg, cheese, turkey or veggie bacon), cinnamon rolls, extra turkey bacon and biscuits.

Very gluttonous if I do say so myself! Even Honey had eggs and cheese and after filling herself up grabbed a huge piece of egg and walked around trying to find a place to hide it. LOL! When I tried taking it from her, her back hair flared up and she growled at me. But she eventually gave it up.

Anyway before I get started I have a message for Rick: Poor Rick keeps emailing me and I keep replying (he bought Building an eBook Empire) and today he emails me saying I never reply to him and he doesn’t know what he’s doing wrong. I suspect the personal replies are going to spam or something. No clue. But it sucks when you’re replying and the other person is thinking they’re being ignored. He DOES get my Aweber messages so maybe he’ll see this and know I’m not ignoring him.

LOL Just got an email from a PLR ATM customer named Pierre in Canada who said he was offended that my interview with Mike Long mentioned politics (Mike is a fellow Reagan fan). My reply was that I get offended by people who get offended too easily and to get over it.  Sorry, but I have no patience for people who nitpick about something so trivial. You just got a thorough course that teaches you everything about that topic and someones willing to hold your hand through it and you email me about THAT? Ridikerous.

I posted a good thread in Warrior Forum about niche research here. It’s one way to find some topics to write about.

Okay so today I’m enjoying my day off and I’m going to do the following:

  • Map out the foundation for my two membership sites. VERY exciting to me!
  • Enjoy some more of Chris Farrell’s membership lessons.
  • Dig into the WSO on Kindle Publishing that my buddy Derek got me excited about.

I finished Sons of Anarchy so now I have to catch up on Tivo so I may do a little of that here and there today. Hope y’al have a great Sunday!

Tiff ;)

  • Checked out the WF thread on niche research; great (and funny) stuff.

Boy and that’s what you are doing on your “day off”! Hope you have a great Sunday. When you really love what you are doing though and have a passion for it it is not like “work”!

  • Sounds like a great day, Tiff!

The Kindle WSO sounds very interesting. Can you share the link? or are you waiting to see how you like it?

    Debbie

  • Glyn says:

personally I like have to take my hat off before mentioning the name of “The Great One,” … Ronald Reagan.

  • Lisa H says:

Sounds like you have a productive Sunday – can’t wait until you get your membership sites finished! Put me on the waiting list :D

  • Glyn says:

My phone really boched that post:/

  • Jim Hickey says:

    Hey Tiff!

How to get rid of what???

Now am I supposed to be offended :D

Gawd I thought that was left behind in HS (more than a few years ago … LOL)

    Have a great one!

    Jim…

  • Alice Coaxum says:

LOL at Honey! You know people choose to dwell on the dumbest things. If I like a course, audio, post or whatever and I feel it is of real quality I’m not even going to bother hassling the owner because one of their views may not be in sync with mine. I actually wouldn’t even if I didn’t like it. What’s the point?

BTW .. Your reply was hilarious. I love it!

    • Tiffany says:

I just get a kick out of the fact that he’ll probably gasp at my reply, expecting that he shamed me into regretting my decision – which he didn’t.

  • Ok, I’ve never heard of veggie bacon. where do you get it? also wish to learn about the kindle wso. I’ll email. thanks. hope you’re having a great Sunday afternoon. Marcia

    Hi TIff,

I share your views on people getting offended over trivilaties completely. Life is too short! I recently bought your prlatm course and am proud to say I have got it up and running much sooner than I thought I could – thanks to you for some of that hand-holding you mentioned. And guess what? I’m excited that one of my pages selling horse plr is on the first pages of both Google and Scroogle, about in the middle of the page. Good going, huh? Of course, I’ve yet to actually sell anything, lol. Living in hopes…Bev B

  • Jean Morgan says:

Yep folks get offended about the silliest things. A British marketer I know got called anti american for saying that as we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Britain he was sending his thanks to everyone and for everything as part of his Christmas message.

Fact 1 The US celebrates Thanksgiving
Fact 2 The UK does not celebrate thanksgiving

What in those 2 facts is anti American? Two countries with different culture isn’t anti anything is it.

People really do need to get over themselves and stop getting offended where no offence is intended

I need to get over getting offended by folks getting offended by what I consider trivia.

  • Nathan says:

Honey, grab that egg and run! That’s what my dogs do. They’re just not small enough for me to catch them so they always get away with their deeds…

I can’t say that I know anything about politics in order to get offended by anything political. I have noticed some hot-headed political arguments on G+ over US politics, though. It was something about bumper stickers. Do people actually display bumper stickers on their cars in support for a candidate in the US? UK politics pales in comparison – most people wouldn’t even know who’s in the running.

I always think that saying you’re offended by something that’s not directly aimed at you is a little silly. It’s like saying that someone is hurt when they hear an opinion that differs to their own. If you feel like that, good luck on planet Earth! And in marketing…someone’s gonna get a shock if they think that you’ll never come across anything “offensive”!

    Although…”veggie bacon”? – now THAT’s offensive. :P

    • Tiffany says:

Well she tried to hide it behind my butt on the couch so she didn’t get away with it. LOL! And yes we have bumper stickers all over the place – about politics, abortions, gun rights, etc. I normally don’t do them because here in Texas, most people have a gun or more specifically, many have them in their car, so my loud attitude might encounter the wrong person on the highway who’s in the wrong mood. lol

  • Aly Swan says:

    Hey Tiff

I get the research, how to do it, but really struggle with ‘identifying’ if it is commercially viable in terms of people ready to ‘buy’ not just seeking information. Mmm hope you can follow me.

I too would be interested in the link from Derek re Kindle if that is possible?

Tiff you are refreshing in your approach

    Cheers

    Aly

  • I can’t wait to hear your review of the kindle WSO. I have a cookbook on Amazon as a Kindle book. I would like to know more about Amazon Kindle promoting.

  • Oscar says:

Ha, I know about Mike Mills’politics but I respect him as a marketer. I know several marketers and I don’t always agree with their politics but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect them or can’t associate with them respectfully. And some of my friends disagree with my politics. In some cases, they’re close enough friends that we can argue and it doesn’t end the friendship. Other times, it’s cost a friendship. That’s life.

  • Sandra says:

I have Jonny’s wso on kindle and what I have seen so far (just over half way through) has been eye opening for me. I haven’t reviewed any other courses except Geoff Shaw’s which I think rocks. The two together are being a big help to me.

I’m not much of a writer but I am writing a book to put on kindle and these two guys are going to be what gets me there. I hope.

  • I have every Kindle WSO on Warrior Forum, there are nuggets in each one. I am fired up and am writing some e-books now.

I probably should look for a boyfriend and save some of that money. LOL! But, I cannot help it, I love this stuff and believe me it is so much easier to put up with, than a human.

    LOL!

    Love,

    Carolyn

    Hi Tiffany:
I just checked out you WF Post on Niche Research. Fantastic ideas in your post. Some great and interesting comments also. Take Care

  • Edie47 says:

I’m so glad you had a great Sunday and that you got to sleep in so late. I should have done that. By 6 a.m. my computer crashed due to a virus. It’s only partially working – but can’t type anything or get what I have saved on the desktop.

Than the Green Bay Packers lost!

Now using laptop that is not compatible with IE. Oh well!

Sounds like you get emails from very touchy people, at times. Also sounds like you are pretty good at handling them. You have more patience than I do!!!

As I had all this downtime the last couple of days, until I got back online this morning. I reviewed everything I’m doing online. One thing is that I modified the 365 challenge to only one item and that is content creation.

I’m going to focus on any content creation including blog posts, PLR packs, reports, and ebooks. Everything else will work itself out in the process, I think.

    Take care!

    • Tiffany says:

Not so sure about that patience issue Edie. LOL I often turn Honey badger on them :) So sorry you’re going through the virus issues. That sucks! It drains me emotionally.
