A Sad Day for Me – Pulling My Promotion of IPK and NB

I had to do something hard today. A marketer who I deeply respected and whose products I loved is losing my support.

I have pulled his banner ads from my blog. I have deleted the links to his products from my Best Internet Marketing Resources list. And I won’t be promoting him again until things change dramatically.

This is very hard to do to someone who has treated me very well and who I consider an online friend.

But as my mentor Craig Desorcy reminded me, my list comes first. I have to look out for you – and even if the person is a friend, I have to treat you the same way I would my mother. And I would tell my mother this.

You can watch the explanation here and when I stress, my nose twitches. I dislike doing this:

…and comment on it below if you want. I hope your comments will also help Craig Kaye take a long, hard look at his current marketing situation and maybe change his ways.

I hate it when I have to do something like this :(

Tiff

I bought his product a year ago. Then I bought the update this year and feel that the update didn’t deliver anything really new.

In addition, I got nothing but a ton of spam from the owner because I had bought the product. I removed myself from his lists that I was on. I signed up for the lists solely for updates on IPK … not for a continual barrage of spam emails.

I won’t be buying his products anymore. Too much spam delivered and not enough value in the update to the product that I bought.

  • Rhonda says:

    Tiffany,

You are keeping it real. You are absolutely right – he sends out everything that comes across his desk. I don’t have NB, but I did purchase IPK Another guy like this is Howie, I am sure you have come across him. For some it is just about the money, nothing to do with integrity or value.

  • Martha says:

I purchased IPK and then refunded it. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve done that. I’ve also unsubscribed from his emails. The one about someone being dead did it for me. Of course, a recent death in my family also could have contributed to my dismay at that particular email. Totally in poor taste, imho.

Good for you Tiff for holding youself and your list in integrity.

  • Patricia says:

I’m sorry, Tiffany. I’d LOVE to know what’s going on here, but no way do I have 13 minutes to watch a video about it. I’m sure you could’ve wrapped it up in much less time. I despise videos — and just one of the reasons: there’s no way you can talk as fast as I can read. So, it’s highly unlikely, as much as I think of you otherwise, I’ll be watching many of your videos, or vlogs as you call them. If I had time for videos, I’d be watching some of the stuff I paid for, or some free training. At this point, I’m not sure I’ll live long enough to watch all the videos I have stacked up waiting for me. I don’t have time for this, either, but I’ve been wanting to tell you this for quite some time now — .

    • Tiffany says:

Sorry about that Patricia! My blog’s not for everyone :) But maybe the emails will help some.

    • Tiffany says:

Wow Patricia I just got alerted to this: crazyeasyprofits.com/videos-and-video-sales-letters-just-say-no/ all I can say – and I never say this about anyone is – you’re kind of a witch (I’m being kind here). You have no idea what my reasons were for making it a 13 minute video. Oh my god…a whole 13 minutes. God forbid and I know a couple of people didn’t like the timeline but do I always do 13 mins? No – I usually do about 6. But it was not ego, dear. It was because I was going to do something hard – say something against someone who I respected and consider a friend. Forgive me for letting my heart take over so that it took longer than I wanted it to.

I do not script my vlogs out on stuff like this. I talk to people who I consider my friends – because many people will tell you that I become friends with my subscribers – they email me daily, we talk about more than marketing. You will certainly never have to worry about being forced to endure one of my egotistical episodes again, I can assure you of that. I’ve stopped your subscription and blocked you. You are NOT the kind of person I want to teach or have listening to me anyway. Ever.

  • Tracie says:

I do appreciate you for doing this. I knew exactly who you were referring to when I read your email. I am another who has unsubscribed from his list (sadly) and I also emailed him to ask “what the heck?” but received no response. Canceled my Network Blazer and just moved on.

It really saddened me to see what he was doing. I really am disappointed. Hopefully you can help to get him back on track.

  • Yadira says:

    Dear Tiffany,

The main reason why I read all your emails its because I really think you are really straight and congruent with your opinions and recommendations.

This post and video are a fresh confirmation of my concept about you, so, I really appreciate you don’t sell your integrity for a few bucks.

  • Ruth says:

    Hi!

You have to do what you have to do. I think it is admirable that you consider your list so highly.

If there were a few more marketers like you IM would be a better place, IMO!

    Chin up!

    Ruth

  • I am so proud of you, Tiffany.

Knowing how difficult this video and content of would be for you to make, I support you by saying from my perspective, you have done the right thing by letting people know why you first recommended a product and why now, you do not any longer.

You’ve taken the high road regarding a situation with a IMer who has obviously gone off track. Sad, but true, that these things happen.

    Thanks for being you!

    ~Susan

  • Connie says:

    Tiffany
You are one brave woman…I commend you on your honesty….it’s people like you who are changing the face of internet marketing…thanks for having our backs..

    Connie

  • Tiffany,

I really admire your work ethics!

  • Ruth Harding says:

    Hi Tiff,
    you did good!
I was on Craig’s list but took myself off about 3 months ago. I was fed up with his endless promotions, but, more importantly, he promoted a product that I thought was utter garbage, and it wasn’t cheap garbage. It was a get rich quick product: ‘start making money 50 minutes from now’ type of thing. He said things about how much his profit had increased since he started using this system…..rubbish. So I emailed him and asked him if he had even tried it. I got no response and got off his list.

The only way to change the system is to call out people as you have.

    Keep up the great work.

  • Deborah Dera says:

Totally respectful decision, Tiffany. I’m sorry it was so difficult for you.

I have to be honest – I thought about emailing you over the past week or so about this – because I know you believe so much in this guy and I was confused about how someone I thought was so respected seemed to have done a total 360 in terms of marketing. I didn’t complain to you a) because you didn’t promote the product and b) because it’s not your fault.

There is a particular product out right now that I’ve received several emails about, from many marketers I thought were trusted. Craig Kaye was one of them. Actually, Craig Kaye emailed me twice – once from a list with his name and once from the IPK list.

The product itself is questionable – there are several threads about the product and it’s lack of substance, etc. I also found the advertising to be questionable as well.

I removed myself from the lists of all of these marketers. I was incredibly disappointed that so many “trusted” marketers would jump on such a scammy product.

Anyway, good for you. You deserve to protect your reputation.

  • Wayne says:

    Tiffany

Good for you! I have been on your list forever and have purchased your products…this won’t change anytime soon…You are an awesome marketer and I am so pleased that you maintain a level of integrity that is oftentimes hard to find in our IM world…Keep doing all that you do.
    With continued support and appreciation,

    Wayne Davis

  • Pat says:

Ya got balls Tif…I still love ya.
You are a great person. Let’s hope
    Craig comes to his senses.

  • Jane says:

Well said Tiff. I can see that was a hard thing for you to do.

I bought IPK ages ago and love the product, not tried Network Blazer, so can’t comment on that. IPK members site is not kept up to date, still showing his July niches, so missing two already.

As soon as emails from Craig come in, I just delete without reading them. Have been doing this for sometime.

The product is superb, but marketing strategies are not. The business of only 349 copies/memberships being available right at the start, and the fact that the same figure seems to still be available puts me off as well.

I hope he sorts things out, because I am sure he is going to be losing lots of support as things stand.

  • Dianne says:

    Hi Tiff,

I totally agree with your decision.

I took my name off of his lists a long time ago because it was exactly as you said: one promotion after another. I remember what you have always said: don’t promote something if you haven’t used or tried it. I kept thinking “How can this guy promote all of this stuff one after the other?” There was never a word about both of the products: IPK or NB–just more crap day after day.

I am not thrilled with NB because I have not received one sale off of my sites. I wish I knew how to get all of my domains off of there because the price per month is definitely not worth the site or the service.

I re-purchased IPK as well thinking it was something brand new. I thought…ok..I’ll give it one more try. It really was not–just re-hashed.

Not your fault at all. I don’t blame you.

This is really sad and, knowing you, this had to be a HARD decision.

We stand behind you, Tiff, because you are so honest and upfront with us. I know it doesn’t make this type of decision any easier but your honesty appreciated more than you know.

  • martin durie says:

    Hi Tiffany
I agree with your sentiments absolutely!
I am out of Craig’s lists because of daily emails [in duplicate]about every ‘Get Rich Quick’ scheme going.
You have played it absolutely straight – and I think everyone on your lists will commend you for that!
    All the best

  • My brother & a friend of mine have all gone in together on IPK. Are you saying it’s no longer a good way to make money? We have sunk a decent chunk of money into this already and we are all fairly broke and struggling.

When we bought it, we did see that IPK was going to be a monthly subscription but it said that those of us who had signed up/bought the product by that time would not have to pay the monthly fee.

We are currently struggling with getting the word out/getting seen on the internet and getting visitors to the sites. But with no support for this product, we are drifting aimlessly.

I do not like that he is promoting all the get rich quick scams & products he hasn’t tested himself. This makes me angry because our little group saw this as a way to help get us off the hamster wheel of living paycheck to paycheck.

  • Rhonda says:

I never got around to buying either product, but I definitely won’t be now. Atta girl, Tiff – always taking the high road! I can honestly say that your emails are the only only ones from an internet marketer that I actually open up and read on a regular basis. I look forward to them because you are not spammy and never go overboard with the hype like so many others do. And it’s great that you look out for your followers – keep up the good work.

  • Tiff – I bought IPK through your link a couple of years back and it was the product that got me into IM. I promoted it myself.

Then this year I bought into the new IPK 2.0 – or whatever it’s called (which I think he should have provided to exisiting members for free) why did I pay agin? For the monthly updates. There hasn’t been one since July!

I emailed Craig to ask him about this and he never responded. However everyday I get spam from him trying to sell me someone else’s product.

A couple of month’s back I discovered Dan Brock’s Profitzon (soon to be known as Deadbeat Super Affiliate)programme and it is so much better than IPK for learning how to make Amazon sales and that will be the product I use and promote.

I am so glad you are calling Craig out on his appalling behaviour – I just wish I could watch the video – there’s only a blank space on the page. I’ll try another browser!

    Clare

  • Dan Klatt says:

    Hi Tiff,

I respect you for coming from integrity and calling him out, by name.

That always seemed short-sighted to me of the Warrior Forum for not allowing people ripped off or scammed to not be able to warn others.

I realize why they have that policy, to protect marketers from perhaps unscrupulous buyers.

Anyway, I’m unaffected by this person your video about, or his products (other than how the actions of one person affect the perceived trustworthiness of us all!)

…I appreciate knowing time and time again that you are worthy of people’s trust, that you are honest and ethical.

    Thanks,
    Dan

  • Kat says:

    Hi Tiff,

I’m very relieved that you are doing this – even though I was NOT one of those who emailed you, I thought about doing so. Because you have been so connected with Craig, by extension, your reputation has been somewhat compromised in my mind.

So you’ve restored my faith in you, and you’re doing the right thing. Craig has also been a hot topic at a private forum I belong to, and to a person, everyone who has commented has expressed their sheer disgust with Craig’s tactics, and have unsubbed.

I haven’t unsubbed yet – but I set up my gmail account so his emails bypass the inbox and go directly into a folder – on the offchance that there’s an IPK update. Heck, if the updates aren’t free, I guess I’ll just pull out altogether. I HATE the kind of business model that holds me hostage to the slim possibility of an update, and then barrages me with garbage.

I wrote Craig a few weeks ago to share my thoughts on this ‘model’ of his, but got no reply. No surprise, really – his very tactics say he doesn’t give a rat’s a** about his customers.

In a way, you have come clean – not in the sense that you’ve been hiding something, as you say, but that you’ve cleaned off the mud that Craig has been splashing on you.

I really appreciate your integrity in making this decision. You have my respect and support.

    - Kat

  • Eric says:

    Tiffany:

I agree with Susan; I did the same thing with respect to IPK and unsubscribed from the spam-like emails.

BUT, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND:

YOU were the one who helped me actually get the new IPK product after I had paid for it when I had my issues with them. (That speaks to your character and how you care for your list and those on it!)

YOU were the one who went out of your way to help me with my PLR question and resolved it after I purchased my PLR from you, which was absolutely fantastic!

YOU and your customer service and obvious care for your list/people goes far beyond who you’ve associated with in the past.

YOUR CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY stands above all other IMrs that I know and land you in the top 1-5% of those out there, along with Craig DeSorcy and others.

I appreciate your honesty and heart, yet realize that your integrity and my (and others) ability to trust you isn’t ruined by a few bad apples.

IN FACT YOUR CHARACTER STANDS BY ITSELF. Others of far lesser morals would’ve taken the easier road out…but you didn’t…so kudos to you!

Karma — and the fruit of your actions — work both ways…and you’ve got a lot of good waiting to come back to you!!

    AND thanks for that,
    Eric

  • Melody says:

Tiffany, I already liked you, but this video really cemented it for me. It’s so hard to know who is legit, honest, and REAL.

You are. Thank you for not compromising your principles and who you are for the love of money.

  • I purchased IPK and was just starting to read the material, so I can put up some sites for Christmas. I have purchased several of your products as well. My question for you Tiff is do you think there is enough information in the materials for a average person to be able to produce a site and be able to sale something from Amazon? I would appreciate if you could let me know, so I don’t waste my time. Thank you for you help with this matter. And again thank you for the true. In the end you will be all right, because you told the true and the true will take care of you. God Bless and take care and enjoy and be prosperous…

  • Liz says:

Hi Tiff, Good job, you’re doing the right thing. You have to consider your followers and your integrity first. How many marketers do that? Not many, so thanks for the honesty.

BTW, love your little doggie …so cute :-)

  • Wim says:

I bought the latest release of IPK and ever since my inbox is being littered with all sort of IM stuff Craig Kaye is trying to sell me . To me this is as bad as spamming because I never requested this info and only provided my contact information to stay updated on my purchase . As of today I do not dare deleting my contact info from his list because I don’t want to miss any updates on the IPK program. Should I delete my name from his lists all together and risk missing the latest news on IPK ??

  • joe says:

Good move, I have personally spoke to craig and we’ve joked about how I was always the first to buy his recommendations when they were few and far between and they were GENUINE with a real story, like when he promoted your lens product.

It’s a real shame because he his a great marketer and it’s the best product I have ever used.

I’ve got a small ‘HUNCH’ he’s sold the businesses and the lists etc… or he’s getting ready to move out of the IM teaching and squeezing every last drop out of it… maybe so he can retire.

I’m pretty sure those emails are making him a killing, but they are slowly KILLING him.

  • I bought IPK on your recommendation Tiff and I knew in my heart when you posted on the WF about a marketer that was turning to nothing but promotional emails who it was. I am sorry to hear this. Craig offered to hep me personally when I first signed up and helped me out at the very first. Then it went down hill from there. I never heard back, never got the support needed and have been so disappointed! It was $97 I couldn’t afford to lose :(

    Thank you for being honest.

    Belinda

  • Laurie says:

    Hi Tiffany,

Well, I can just imagine how difficult it must have been to do that video.

I know of several UK marketers who seem to be going the same route as Craig. In fact, I think the biggest disgrace of the year, in terms of products, came out of the UK. I’m referring to Turbo Profit Sniper. Enough said….

I must say that I, too, have unsubscribed from Craig’s lists. There were too many promotions happening on a daily basis, and repeats of previous promotions.

Having said that, I must state that his “Info Product Killer” is top notch. I have learned so much from it! It is the first product that got me doing things on a regular basis, rather than simply reading and learning, and filling my brain with infomation overload.

I haven’t tried network Blazer, so I can’t comment on it. I build my sites with X-Site Pro and host them at HostGator. In any event, I’ve built 10 new sites, which I wouldn’t have done if it hadn’t been for Craig’s product. So, he delivered big time!

One final word. I hope Craig makes a comeback, if that’s what you can call it. I mean, perhaps he’s now so wealthy, that he’d laugh at my statement! :) Rather, I should probably say, that I hope he does a re-think of his marketing philosophy.

All the best to you. I hope you and Craig can remain friends, without parting ways.

    Laurie

  • Jim says:

You could have Flamed this guy in 2 minutes or less. It did not take 13:08 to repeat yourself several times.

We got it all in the first minute.

    Just a thought,

    Jim Greene

    • Tiffany says:

No Jim actually I couldn’t. First, it wasn’t a “flame.” It was me explaining a situation. I don’t lightly blast a fellow marketer and move on. I wanted people to have all the information. But thanks for the thought!

  • Dianna says:

I bought his product on recommendations from Tiffany and others and thought it was very good. I joined the Network Blazer system, too, but soon quit because it was sort of clunky to use and I could get the same effect without it. Then he started with the many, many salesy emails. I bought some things that were really awful and so no longer would take his recommendations at all. I figured he was tired of all the work it took promoting physical products and had stumbled onto the glittery grail of ClickBank. Stopped reading his emails completely. You did the right thing, Tiff. Hope he comes to his senses and goes back to the way he was when you first met him.

  • Tiffany,

I did hear you say that you still thought IPK was a good product, but without support or help learning how to promote your sites, a newbie has just wasted hard earned money. I have been blogging for over 2 years. I also run my own blog design/web services biz. I know how to promote that, but promoting sites that can bee seen by many as spam sites and actually getting them to buy from you when you are new to the IM game is hard. And when there is no support, the task is even tougher.

Mommy bloggers, who are the people I am marketing to the most (it’s my genre, what can I say), see sites like IPK as spam or link farms. Breaking through that wall is what the IPK support forum should be helping me with but it isn’t.

A good product without support or anyone helping you to understand it more clearly becomes a crappy product and a waste of time and money.

    • Tiffany says:

Support is generally a video not working, etc. He doesn’t offer coaching and mentoring. The product is great and doable on your own. Write good articles and the niche you described should be able to see the value. I also personally don’t do all the bold, inter-linking, etc. I keep it simple.

  • Tiffany, I can tell this is hard for you to do. You are doing the right thing though. You are once again showing what a class act you are by doing it publicly. As you said, you had the option to quietly slip into the shadows and pretend.

    Be strong, girl!

  • brad says:

    Thank you
I agree wholeheartedly- I unsubscribed to his list a few weeks ago for many reasons you listed. With IPK he says “throw all the others away… this is the only one you will need” then proceeds to send out promotions for other products you need! Anyway, your ethics and honesty are always appreciated. Thank you

  • Kate says:

    Hi Tiffany,

Many thanks for the 13 minute long video concerning Craig.

[SIDE NOTE: Unlike some people I actually enjoy watching your vblogs and use them as an excuse to take 5 and grab a cup of tea or coffee whilst watching them].

I can honestly say I am not surprised at the news regarding Craig’s service etc as since purchasing IPK 2010 I have received an email almost daily which in my opinion have been little more than spam.

I was actually considering emailing you to ask your advice but your video and announcement beat me to the punch!

I have now unsubscribed and won’t be purchasing from him again.

Personally I will take one “Tiffany” over 100 “Craig’s” any day.

Many thanks for taking the time and effort to explain your reasons and keeping us groupies in the loop.

    Regards
    Kate

    • Tiffany says:

Maybe I should have had that track that goes, “You TALK too much – you never shut up!” playing in the background. LOL! Sorry if I rambled but I felt it needed the time.

  • Bob Lemley says:

    Hi Tiff,

Thank you for sticking to your guns. I wish more people would be as honest.

You may not remember, but I emailed you when you first discovered IPK and told you that the support was terrible. I stopped using both IPK and NB because they weren’t living up to their promises.

At that time we were already having support questions going unanswered and reliability problems. I’m glad that you were able to get benefit from the products for such a long time, but I’m certainly not surprised that you had to come to this decision.

    Regards … Bob

  • Philip C. says:

I bought IPK 2010 based on yours and a few others recommendations. Now, granted, I did order only the bare bones edition, bypassing the million upsells they were pitching.

Well, when I went into it to see what it was about, I found that I could not get anything going unless I had at least one, and probably more of the upsells.

Can you spell r-e-f-u-n-d? I did that quick, fast, and in a hurry. If I never see anything promoted from this Craig Kaye guy again, it will be too soon. But as for you Tiffany? As usual, you rock. I have no intention of ever coming off any list of yours.

  • Pat Sava says:

I saw this coming when he released Launch Raider. You could tell it was going to change him. He was way too into it.

There’s a whole UK version of the syndicate that appeared about six months ago if you haven’t noticed. They all promote each others stuff.

Chris X McNeeny, Mike Auton, Imran S., Keiran Gill, Craig Kaye & Rob Benwell are the people that stand out the most in my mind.

But just like most lottery winners, these guys will eventually piss away all their money.

Since they didn’t work hard to earn it, I doubt they learned the value of it.

Hopefully with people like Tiff leading the change no one else will fall victim to these unethical scumbags.

How do we start the “Good Guys” Syndicate?

We honestly should create a forum, or some kind of safe haven where only marketers that meet certain ethical criteria can go and promote their products.

This way honest hard working people don’t have to throw away their hard earned money.

We need IM’s version of Shangri La.

Tiff’s doing a great job, but she’s only one person. More people need to step up too.

I’m curious if anyone thinks it’s even possible.

    Pat Sava

  • Barbara says:

    Hi Tiffany,

I also bought IPK earlier this year, and was so impressed with Craig Kaye until his recent barrage of emails, almost daily, promoting other products.
I thought he was better than that – I am so disappointed !
Glad I am one of your subscribers – well done you !

  • Lisa Oliver says:

    Hi Tiffany

I don’t have either of the products mentioned in this video, but I watched it because you are one of the few people online who has integrity.

I could see how hard it was for you to make this video; to talk about someone you consider a friend in such a frank and honest manner and I just wanted to let you know that I know where you are coming from and understand how hard this would have been for you but to applaud you yet again for having principles and being prepared to stand by them. Your list is being well looked after because of your honesty.

Thank you Tiffany for being who you are
    Lisa

  • Bonnie says:

    Hi Tiff,

One of the reasons I admire you so much is because of your refreshing honesty. I know it must be hard sometimes to share your thoughts & feelings, but I truly appreciate your coming forward with things like this. I purchased IPK a couple months ago; liked it in theory but haven’t really put it into practice yet. I am slowly learning who can be trusted and followed online. Thanks for being there for us!

    P.S. – I LIKE your vlogs!

    Bonnie

  • marcy says:

Thanks for this post. I had joined his mailing list on your endorsements and after a week unsubscribed due to the poor quality you just described. Although we cannot know what goes on personally in someone’s life to cause such a “win at all costs” desperation. The best thing is to reach out firmly as you have just done. I’m sure if he turned around people would forgive him.

  • Gail Hess says:

I also bought the original IPK program and like Clare thought I needed to buy the new program to get updates and new training. Of course that was a waste of money and he won’t respond to refund requests on it.

I also cancelled my NB account and unsubbed from all of his emails. At first I was worried that I would miss an IPK update by unsubbing, but it din’t look as though Craig was sending IPK updates anyhow!

I have become MUCH more choosy about who I do business with. The list has gotten very small.

  • Colin says:

    Hi Tiff,

Good for you I got fed up with the Spam and unsubscribed back in August.

    Best

    Colin

  • Philip C. says:

I purchased the 2010 version of IPK based on your recommendation along with a few other trusted mentors.

I purchased only the bare-bones version, without the countless upsells that were pitched, thinking that if it was good, well, maybe I would purchase an upsell or two.

Well, when I went through the bare-bones stuff I found I couldn’t really implement anything unless I had at least one, or maybe more, of the upsells.

Can you spell r-e-f-u-n-d? I did that quick, fast, and in a hurry. You know, I think Pat Sava seems to have a point. There sure is a lot of shady characters and stuff coming out of the UK.

Anyhow, Tiff, thanks for looking out for all of us. As usual, you rock.

  • Carole says:

I felt uncomfortable with the re-issue of IPK 2010. It didn’t sit right with me that people who bought the original had to pay again – the same amount that everyone else had to pay to get the system for the first time. The upgrade didn’t amount to a great deal, just how to promote a lauch for a new clickbank product(in the IM market). There was also the PROMISE of monthly newsletters with updates on marketing tactics, google changes etc…which never happened. All it seems to me that the main purpose was a chance to harvest emails to promote a constant barrage of affiliate products…

Even now, if I check my “special” members only link to IPK 2010 (note: secret page! http://www.infoproductkiller.com/secretpage.php it still says on the page :Only 349 Available!
IPK Exclusive Members Area Lifetime Access For A One-off Discounted Price Just $37″
and if you go to the main IPK page…it says the same thing!

Craig, if you ever read this…THAT IS SCUMMY!!
I bought Hard Cash Hijack because it was one of the first things the “new Craig” promoted, although i didn’t know it was the “new Craig” at the time. After going through endless upsells, just get to the actual product, when I downloaded it and saw what it was, I actually refunded a product for the first time in my life.(especially as the software didn’t work!) It was NOT a good feeling. And if you already own Network Blazer, what good is a bonus of a free months trial of Network Blazer? Craig was are promoting to his list…what are the chances that a big percentage of them already had Network Blazer? That is treating your list with disrespect. Craig, in a time when the new IM marketing mantra is to give great value and to respect your customers, you are moving backwards into a timewarp. You are damaging your reputation…possibly beyond repair!

It is so disappointing to see a great marketer go bad…but the really sad bit is the thousands of newbies who get sucked in and think that this is how marketing SHOULD be …

(Tiff, please edit my spelling mistakes, my keyboard is sticking from a coke spill…also, edit out anything like the links if you want…I put them in because I wanted to show how far down the track Craig has gone) I’m truly sad that this has happened, but I think it’s absolutely fantastic that Tiff has the guts to make the statement so many have been thinking.

Craig, turn back from the dark side of marketing…please get back to being the wonderful, helpful, ethical marketer we knew and loved!

    Carole

  • I thought this post was probably on its way. I found the same thing – I loved the IPK Product and think it is one of the best I’ve ever received, then came all the spammy e-mails of promotions that other marketers I don’t think much of started pitching. After that, I’m going off the list and staying with the marketers I know actually shoot straight. Definitely a shame, but you’re doing the right thing.

  • Thanks for being honest, Tiffany. I know it was hard for you to take this step. I purchased both IPK and Network Blazer on your recommendation. IPK is great. Network Blazer has not turned out well but it’s definitely not your fault that they have let their customer service deteriorate.

It’s sad that someone who had so many good recommendations from trusted marketers like you has let his business go in this way.

Keep on being real because that’s we need in the Internet marketing world.

  • Victoria says:

When I first read your email, I also knew exactly who you were referring to. It is to bad because like you, I also like his product and disagree with those who say that you need more up sell products to implement IPK. What did it for me was when he promoted Rob Benwells trashy auto blogging system…It was total BS. Didn’t Craig say that after purchasing IPK that you wouldn’t need to buy any other products again?
I will still use IPK but like so many I have unsubscribed to the UK buddy club. Thanks for reassuring us that some marketers are for real!

  • Thomas Shaw says:

    Hi Tiff
This is why we all follow you, you speak it from the heart. And you really hit the nail on the head with this one.

I bought IPK and Network Blazer because of your recommendation and agree with you, both tremendous products in fact the best money i have ever spent.

The first time i noticed that there might be something wrong is when i took a look at what was being said in the forum. Seemed like there was a lot of whiners who did nothing more than slag the product off.

Like i said, i just love the product, it works for me, the SEO makes sense, it works with Squidoo and I’m making money. I will always defend the product.

Unfortunately the support is garbage. I don’t bother now with the support, i just get on with making websites. Which is fine for me, but for those that really need support, it must be awful. There is one particular support guy who i found to be, well basically rude there’s no other word for it.

As for Patricia and her comment about your video, what’s so important in her life that she can’t spare 13 minutes? I might be going over the top here, but i found it gripping mainly because as soon as i got your email, i knew who you were going to talk about. No banners confirmed it. (Hope i’m not being too harsh with Patricia here)

Tiff you just said what every one, or those that use Craigs product, would have liked to have said. And i stand right behind you on this one.

  • Rhonda (the 3rd) says:

    Hey Tiffany,

(Weird how you have 3 Rhondas on the same comment list:)

I commend you on being up front about CraigK!

I created a filter for his emails and have them bypass my Inbox and actually unsubscribed one of them just to see if he would honour the unsubscribe. Not surprised to see that he did not and that I am STILL getting emails!

There is a small, but growing list of ethical marketers coming to the forefront and hopefully more will also come forward and prove their merit by being responsible and leading the way like you and CraigD do.

There recently seems to be quite the backlash against the scummy marketers and it is too bad that so many new marketers have to learn the hard way who to trust.

Keep up the good fight and know that we respect and admire the way you do business!

    Rhonda

  • Kitt says:

    Hi Tiff,
I unsubscribed from his list about a month ago because I was sooooo tired of all of his emails promoting everything under the sun. I own IPK and have used his techniques and thought he was one of the good ones, but when I was getting an email everyday promoting something new, he had to go. I know how you feel and I hope you know, that you are absolutely in the right to stop promoting his products. Sorry that he put you in this position.

One suggestion I have for all of your subscribers is unsubscribe from as many of the so called Gurus lists as they can. When I was new I bought every shiny new object that was out there and most of them sit on my hard drive never to be used. The reason is that, I don’t have time. Learning is important, but, you have to take serious action everyday, or you’re just wasting time. I unsubscribed from just about every list I was on except for 3 marketers that I really respect, believe me it will make your life so much easier.

I have nothing but respect for you and all you do. I am having a decent level of success with internet marketing after a long, expensive and hard road. You are one of the reasons for my success. You tell it like it is. This business is hard work in the beginning, there really is no lying on the beach with your lap top and a Pina Colada. You were the one who finally gave me realistic expectations and I am so thankful.

So keep up the good work and we’ll keep coming back to hear what you have to say and to buy your products.

    Best regards,

    Kitt

  • Jessica says:

    Tiffany,

Thank you so much for this post. Your readers appreciate your honestly so much!

I had recently bought IPK through your affiliate link, too. (Jessica is my pen name.) Like you said the product was great, but I was very dissatisfied with the support.

As a newbie to this particular program, I had a couple of questions. My first question was poorly answered, not by Craig.

The second was never answered at all. So I gave up asking for support and tried to figure out things for myself.

So it was helpful to know that everyone was experiencing this lack of support, and not just something I was doing wrong.

Thanks again. We depend on you!!

  • Darryl says:

    Thanks Tiff,

I bought IPK awhile back after the new launch and immediately had tech issues that no one ever replied to. I did buy it from your recommendation and to tell you the truth I did hesitate for a little while buying PLR ATM because of the sleezy ads from his promotions lately. I am glad I did buy PLR ATM it’s a GREAT product. And one of the reasons I did buy your product is because you are a genuinely good person and you showed us that once again in this video. I hope he wakes up and realizes what a good friend he has. Maybe some people can’t handle success very well.

  • Paul says:

Thanks for your honesty regarding IPK and NB. Having purchased both of them, I have been disappointed in the recent “spam” emails sent out by Craig and the lack of support for both of his products. I agree that IPK is a good product and NB could have a very helpful tool especially for new people getting into affiliate marketing. As you said the support is severely lacking. The incessant emails promoting the next best thing is really off the charts and speaks volumes about Craig’s integrity. I had regarded him as a good IM marketer but sadly he has destroyed his reputation and I will no longer subscribe to his list.
Thanks again Tiffany, for your honesty and in taking a stand against “gangsta” marketing.

  • Well, you had to make a statement, because as you say, you are so closely associated with Craig’s products and we all bought because you loved them. You did a brilliant job of promoting IPK & NB.

Like you say, the original products are great, I love them, and I love my NB sites and the fact that they DO sell products, but the recent emails were really on the nose, (and Craig ignored the “WTF?” emails we all sent him about that) and now that most of my sites have been offline for over a week, I’m going crazy too… what to do?

I really don’t want to take down my sites, with all that work etc. as I love working with NB, and IPK + NB rocks!

I just want everything to GO BACK TO NORMAL, without all the garbage of the past few months since the “re-launch” and all the associated problems and service hassles!

Wake up Craig and smell the Toast (it’s burning!)

** Maybe he has sold it all and is just cashing in on his lists before the new owner takes over???

  • Sharan says:

I had already unsubscribed from his list because of all the emails as mentioned by several others commenting here.

I agree the product is still good, but the marketing strategies he promotes isn’t.

Thanks for your honesty and concern for others. We all do what we have to do for our own peace of mind and integrity.

    Sharan

  • I purchased IPK a long time ago, before you started promoting it. Thought the product was well worth the money just for the information alone, I did tried the network Blazer two different times, but it was not compatible with my personal way of working. I was always impressed that I still had access to my downloads years later.

I think you are taking too much of this on your shoulders. It is nice you are concerned for your clients, but we are all adults here responsible for our own actions, including Craig.

  • Chris says:

I’ve actually been expecting this from you, Tiffany. Not because I have some sort of psychic ability, but because you never fail to speak out with honesty and integrity even when it costs you.

I bought IPK, and like so many have said, subscribed to his list to follow any IPK updates. When the sales pitches started, I stayed on the list because unfortunately, I’ve come to expect this. After all, they are marketers! However, the excessive amount of sales pitch emails started to seriously annoy me. Still I stayed on for IPK updates. It was when the emails became in such bad taste that I emailed Craig. No response. Since they continued, I finally unsubscribed, which as so many people have said should not be necessary when we are paying customers who have a right to stay up to date with our product purchase. Now that I see I am far from the only one who unsubscribed or wrote to Craig, it’s obvious he has lost respect for his name and his product. I wouldn’t consider buying anything else from him.

I have to say that sometimes this can seem so personal. I followed a couple of marketing guys for many years and truly thought they were up there with some of the most honest and sincere marketers on the internet. They also have changed and gone with the scammy, excessive JV emails. It almost feels like a sense of betrayal since I believed in their character.

I’m glad to see you’ve taken a position on this type of customer service despite your personal interactions with Craig. That takes a lot of courage. You are one of only a handful of marketers that I still follow through a list. I sincerely wish your style of honest marketing would start a new trend.

PS – I also love your videos!

  • Norman Macey says:

    Nice one Tiff,

I cringe when I see a fellow countryman of mine behave like this.

he has been off my list for some time now.

  • Ralph says:

Thank you for your honest and frankness. I bought IPK last year and have noticed a tremendous shift in the email promotions and lack support. I appreciate your honesty and willingness to “call it like you see them” I admire your courage and will continue to tell my students about your great products and NO BS marketing attitude. Maybe its timne for a Newbie IM bill of rights that marketers should have to post and subscribe too. Once again thank you for your video.

  • Charity says:

I have emailed you about Craig, and I have also emailed Craig on NUMEROUS occasions in the last month to express my “thoughts” about his new way of marketing (a.k.a. being a sleazeball about it). Of course, no response. I have IPK and NB, but I want to rid myself of NB. Does anyone know the easiest way (without involving the suddenly mute Craig) to move the files?

    Thanks for your honesty, Tiff.:)

    Charity

  • Hey Tiff once again you are the IM worlds conscience and in this time of “10 upsell” products it is nice to know there are still ethical marketers around.

Like many others I bought ipk and was mystified how the new version added any value and then got emailed to death.

In the past it only seemed to be the “Big Boys” who cross promoted their products now its every man and his dog, and the I’ll promote yours if you promote mine is just plain wrong.

Imagine being a newbie now, buying a product on PPC then the next day get an email from the owner saying “you must buy this blogging course”, or another product that has nothing to do with the original.

I’m glad I’m not starting now, must be even more confusing then when I started. So Tiff thanks for telling it how it is, once again!

BTW somebody left a comment on my wso that mentioned my namee in the same sentence as your name, was a proud day!!

  • Nosa says:

Tiff, you are so honest, decent, caring and that is why we all love and believed in you. I bought the IPK upgrade following your recommendation.
I am very embarrased by the shabby level of support they provide. Count yourself lucky if you get response to query or support request.

I am considering unsubscribing as Craig can not be trusted.

  • Lee says:

He isn’t the only one. A number of marketers who previously emailed good content are now emailing one JV after another. With NO good content. If they kept the content going, I wouldn’t mind as much.

It has become a JV orgy out there and the biggest thing is the webinar (see infomercial). Those webinars are hard to resist because you do get some info from them but you also waste 2 hours you could have spent working on paying projects.

Add me to the list of people who hate video/audio. I can read in about 1 second what it takes the recorder to say in one minute.

  • John says:

    Hi Tiff,
I know of but don’t have either products but thanks for the warning. I admire and appreciate your honesty in taking this action, hurtful to you though it was.

  • Hi Tiff

Thanks for the video. I was thinking of buying this as well!

As Norman says disappoining from a fellow countryman in the UK and a Northerner like me:-(
    Take Care Denise

  • JoAnne says:

Thank you, Tiffany, for being so up front with your subscribers. I learned of IPK through the recommended products at the end of your PLR ATM product [you might want to remove that from your ebook].

I just bought IPK two days ago, so haven’t experienced the barage of sales letters yet. But this seems to be common with IMers. When I start getting pitch after pitch, without any valuable content received, I just unsubscribe.

The thing that *did* annoy me about this IPK purchase, though, was the 1-click purchase process used. I often click through to the Clickbank order page to double check certain items. And I expect to re-enter my credit card details for *each* upsell. Needless to say, I contacted CB directly for an immediate refund of the NB upsell which I didn’t want but got tacked on automatically because of the 1-click that I wasn’t aware of upfront. [And I received the refund the next day.]

I didn’t have the original IPK course, but am very pleased with what I’ve seen so far in the IPK course as it is now. In fact, there’s far more in there now than there is in another course I recently paid $297 for.

I hate to use generalizations, but I’ve noticed what seems to be a UK “consortium” that promotes one another’s products, one after another … often similar content, just presented slightly differently. I am now VERY reluctant to order *any* product by someone from the UK. Again, sorry for lumping all UK IMers under that umbrella, but I’m fed up with these antics!

  • Hi,

I’m afraid that I agree with other you could have said what you needed in 5 minutes or less.

While you state that he doesn’t support the product (I’ve had his IPK and Network Blazer)your still glorifying the product. The product is worthless if you have need of support and can’t get it.

Since I’ve known you you’ve change you direction greatly and really gotten away from what you were doing well, PLR.

It’s funny that you elude to Rich Jerk regrading Craig but you are promoting the former Rich Jerk. How long before you’ll be doing a video regarding him. Bring the fresh has some real problems regarding their videos not working. I know for a fact as I was a member and ended up asking for a refund due to the problem. In the course of the refund one of the principals said there wasn’t a problem and the other said there was. Also their blog has a number of complaints.

I think that when you try to run with the big dogs you have to recognize that more than likely you’ll inherit their fleas.

    • Tiffany says:

Allegrobusman, I’m not going to lie and say the product’s crappy because it’s still one if not the best product I’ve ever bought (IPK that is). I’ve never personally needed support for it but you’re right, if you need something and get no help, it’s useless. I HAVE gotten away from my PLR to teach people PLR. LOL! Ironic, isn’t it? I’m working on some mega packs though – so it takes a bit more time. I have previously gotten onto Kelly Felix – which is HOW I came to eventually promote his new thing. He argued with me, I discovered his course is good, he takes care of people now, and he changed. I can accept that.

I’m not running with any big dogs. I have a huge amount of contacts I could tap into and have them promote. But I believe in the inherent goodness in people and their ability to realize they’re wrong and fix a situation. I don’t think that gives me fleas at all – I think it gives me a heart to go along with my conscience and brain. Sorry you didn’t like the video length either. I am a talker, what can I say.

  • Travis Petelle says:

    Tiffany,

I have never been to your blog or seen your products before, but I have seen you of course through the warrior forum. I was just reading a post of yours and clicked your sig link to get here.

I saw this video you made and I must say it’s a good thing you’re doing. You’re a good business woman and I can tell that you aren’t going to lead your audience astray. That’s something all your viewers should know is a rare quality in this business.

The greed of how much money you can make often will overlap the initial thought of taking care of your customers first and foremost. It may not be much, but you’ve won my respect.

    Keep up the good work.

    Travis

  • Barb White says:

I’m glad you made the video Tiff. After I got IPK a couple of months ago with your recommendation, I bought a couple of products Craig promoted out of trust, and was shocked at the spammy empty promises and lack of support exhibited by the people he promoted. I got my money back from those and was very disappointed at the false claims made by Craig when he promoted them.

  • Stephen says:

Thanks, Tiffany. I’ve been extremely uncomfortable with the marketing deluge. This gives me license to unsubscribe (I own IPK & NB Lifetime, thanks to you). Perhaps a deluge of unsubscribes right NOW would be as effective as the video… to Craig.

I don’t mind the video length, but yes, it could’ve been more succinct… perhaps you could make the two-to-three minute version and the heart-felt version (Let the List choose their preference, “here’s the 2:38 bottom line… or click over here for the whole story, or the Rest.Of.The.Story version…” or just do the short summary and then invite the audience to stick around for the longer one. (Yes, I appreciate you only want to do something like this as you did, but… thinking of your List as you always do…).
    Thanks,
    Stephen

    • Tiffany says:

hanks for kindly pointing out the video issue Stephen lol. I wanted to talk from the heart – so I didn’t make a script. And it was uncomfortable for me, which is probably why I babbled.

  • Fran Civile says:

It was quite a shock to read your email this morning Tiffany! I just bought IPK and suscribed to Network Blazer October 4 I watched the 10 first videos about your Downloadguard promotion with Network Blazer last night …

I was so grateful for the excellent training I was getting from your videos and planned to thank you this morning … instead I received your shocking news!

I guess I’ll just have to unsuscribe from NB and carryon with building the IPK sites I bought domains for …

Thank you for uncovering all this but I wish it had happened a few days earlier!

    Fran

  • Chris Katheman says:

I recently unsub’d to 90% of the lists I was on – but it was because of a different product – Traffic Siphon. Not because I bought it (I am extremely cheap, and that’s good when it comes to this stuff), but because I used due diligence and found the real reviews of the product on the Warrior Forum. Therefore, anyone promoting it got the boot, which was about 90% of the lists I subscribed to.

  • Kater says:

To all those who purchased IPK, I believe it proposes solid technique for targeting a niche and on-page SEO. I will continue to follow most of what is described in program.

I also have several sites on NB, but have experienced several outages and the last of which has gone on since Sept. 27. I have 2 websites that actually ranked high, in fact one was #2 for dog Halloween costumes. I had made sales. These sites are down now. All my backlinking work is broken. Of course, sales have stopped. Now all that work is for not.

It appears that there is no intention of resurrecting this server. I have to decide whether to stop current activity and port my data over to a ‘normal’ site, probably on WordPress.

Even our friend, Tiffany, has no influence over this situation other than to pull her support for Craig’s stuff. I know she’s tried to get him to do something, but to no avail.

Thank you for doing that Tiffany.

    Kater

  • Diana says:

I hate to hear of someone having problems with their business. It could be anyone of us, really. We don’t know what problems he’s facing personally.

I have gotten off so many lists lately. They lure you with information and then BAM! It is like 3-4 emails a day with a new report for free and you go to the page and it is to sign up to someone’s list. I go back and unsubscribe immediately.

Too many marketers are trying to sell IM products for IM only.

All I want to do is physical products, make a living and be at home. It is a really crazy world out there now and I prefer to stay home.

Thanks Tiffany, your a breath of fresh air in a saturated market.

  • Kal says:

    Hi Tiffany,

I really appreciate your direct approach and I learn as much from “what not to do” as I do in the approach in “how to do” something the right way.

This will give that person the opportunity to make things right. Customer service comes first when customers are feeding you our families, so to speak.

There is so much garbage online that unfortunately the wolves are in sheep’s clothing and are cunning.

  • Steven says:

    Hi Tiff,

I just wanted to say that I admire you and think you are one of the most ethical, moral marketers online today.

I bought the update version of IPK because of your recommendation and am pleased with the material. It’s unfortunate that the creator has turned to “The Dark Side”

Sad day for you it may be, keep your chin up. You set the bar where integrity is concerned and it makes it easier to distinguish the BS from what is real.

    Steven

  • Kal says:

For the rest of us out there….

A lot of JV’s are simply a “scheme” on how to win the lottery by sharing each others leads, rather than benefiting those with quality products, JV’ers benefit their pockets.

I have been working on this field for almost 3 years and will never JV with anyone that comes close to having inferior products or service(it’s a complete waste of time and dishonest)

Keep up your stance on staying true to your beliefs Tiffany.

It really doesn’t matter how long the video is, it just shows you care.

    You are much appreciated.
It’s sad to say but your probably in the top 5% when it comes to actually having a conscience in this field (It’s really messy out there, I know especially from my mlm days, I couldn’t stand that greedy people would put themselves before others, instead of win, win. It would be who can I sign up next?).

Internet Marketing seems to bring out the worst in people scheming rather than bringing quality educational material to the digital world.

    Keep up the good work.

    Regards,

  • Jim says:

I saw this coming, and you are to be complimented for being such an upstanding lady. I have taken myself, and other employees of mine off his lists. It appears that he is more concerned with his “New” wheels then providing quality to his list and customers.

    Stay Smiling

  • Nicola says:

Three cheers for Tiff – Hip, Hip….Hooray!

    Very well said m’dear!

I bought this product around June time and the support was absolutely top notch. I bought into Craig big time especially as he is only just a few miles away from me, I felt in safe hands. I was so impressed that he could have basically sold me sh*t with sugar on top and I would have bought it – trouble is, that’s exactly what he did!

The first annoyance came not long after I purchased for $97 then another $37 for the upgrade only to find that all the newcomers were getting the whole lot for $37 so I basically paid $97 more because I was a month early! I felt the same way you do when you go into your favourite clothes shop and see the outfit you bought the week before in the sale – it takes the shine off the outfit!

You very graciously got in touch with Craig about my web files with NB as I wanted them zipping up and sending to me as Craig had promised to do if we wanted to cancel the subscription. Craig emailed me and apologized, promising that the files would be sent within the next 72 hours. That was five weeks ago and guess what? – no files have been sent! Fair’s fair, Craig has kept my access open indefinitely and I can basically use NB for free which was a galant gesture. However, I wouldn’t go on to use and build new sites if I had requested cancellation – that would make me a free loader who’s playing a game!

I wouldn’t worry about burning bridges Tiff, if you want to make an omelette you have to break some eggs ;) My mother always used to tell me “Nicola, you’re judged by the company you keep” and it’s so true, especially in business.

I really do sincerely hope that Craig gets his act together. It’s been painful to watch how he’s torn his reputation apart. It’s comparable with watching a fresh, talented, young, energetic, intelligent person demise into a dark World of addiction and drug abuse – you just want to grab hold of them and hug them and slap them all at the same time.

Craig, if you read this, pull it together again – this is not how a Yorkshireman does business!

P.S. The twitchy nose is quite cute – don’t worry about it ;)

  • Dale McIntosh says:

Wow, blow me away. I purchased IPK passed on Network Blazer (because I want to be in control of my sites) and did not sign up for anything else.

My experience is opposite of those who have thus far commented. I think IPK is great, when I first got it it seemed like every day I had a Tech question to submit to his support. I always got a prompt (w’in 24 hrs) response and the answer though short and to the point was always spot on as they say in the UK and I intend to keep right on truckin with IPK
    Dale McIntosh

  • Marie says:

    Hi Tiff

I knew you would be coming forward and doing something like this – I know how you are about being honest. You are one of a kind girl! (If only there were more marketers who cared even half as much as you do!)

I purchased IPK through your recommendation – but didn’t bother with any of the upsells, if I remember correctly. I did a few sites, and got a few sales, but sadly, it just wasn’t what I had expected. There is some great info in it – don’t get me wrong! But, there just seemed to be something missing.

Anyway, I have heard people talking about the emails, but I honestly haven’t noticed, because I have become so blind to marketing emails that I just hit the delete button without even noting what it says. And, I think that is a trend that alot of marketers need to realize. They need to build a relationship with me – and actually give me something I want to read. Maybe it’s just me – but I just don’t have time to read the long winded emails that are being sent out.

Well done Tiffany. You are one of the only ones I actually bother to read the subject line and open to read the email. And, you have proven to me why you are one of the few I have respect for.

    Marie

  • Pat says:

Thanks for doing this Tiffany. I bought IPK long before I met you. I have loved the program for at the time I was so new and it taught me so many things that I did not know. I was more than disappointed by the new release. Like others I think that the original owners of the product should have been sent a copy no charge. There is just not enough new stuff in there to warrant charging past customers for it. I also have been disappointed by the sales technique for the new release. It is nothing but a lie. I have not opened an email from him in months. So if he were to send something useful to us it would go unnoticed. On my site I have promoted him and talked about his wonderful customer service. In the beginning he answered within hours of posting a request.
As for Network Blazer I have always had some reservations about the system. I have used it for some of my sites but it is so rigid and there is not way of truly customizing on it that it is frustrating. For sometime I have been complaining to them that there seemed to be a very long wait time to save anything and that I was constantly being logged out in the middle of doing things. The present situation is totally unacceptable. You talk about since Friday but I know it was also not working last Thursday and has not since. The silence from their end is deafening.
I knew exactly who you were talking about on the Warrior Forum. I was so agitated about this whole business that yesterday I posted a blog on my site about customer service.
It is very very disappointing and I like you hope he will turn it around. Thank you for bring it to everyone’s attention.

  • Buck says:

    Hi, Tiff,
I did not get to see the video as my broadband is bogging down terribly right now.

You know I bought IPK on your recommendation. I needed one piece of information and all I could get was pointed to the ‘support forum’. In order to have access to the support, I had to buy NB. When I got there, there was no forum. The only support for IPK was in a section called “Off topic” or something similar. None of the IPK questions were being answered and the most people ever on the forum was 8, now a year ago. After messing around for over 30 days trying to find the answer, I finally gave in and requested the refund. Then, and only then, as if to save the sale, Adrian gave me the answer. I never had access to Craig. It is ashamed that such a simple question was repeatedly referred back to a non-existant forum. I never got the refund on the forum either.

Needless to say, I agree with you that the product itself is good. I use what I incorporate part of what I learned from the course into what I am doing now.

I am not sure what his email was, apparently it was either endorsing get rich quick scheme or he was pulling another false scarcity tactic.

I also noticed just before I got out, he had three videos with your name on them. I thought you created them, but you are no where to be found. Just your name on the click link.

I can definitely understand that you are suffering. I am sure it is like losing a friend, or being betrayed by one.

Thank you for your courage and commitment to your list. You really are a true friend to all of us.

    God Bless
    Buck

  • Helena says:

    Tiff,

NB isn’t working, Craig doesn’t want to talk to us. It looks like we’ve lost NB content. What should we do?

    Helena

  • Tiff,

This is why I “follow” you. I really feel that I can trust you. I have heard many people call you a “Good Egg” and you really are.

Although I have not purchased either of these products, (just couldn’t spare the money at the time), I would have bought them just on your recommendation alone.

Thank you for reinforcing the trust that have in you and your judgement.

    Mary

  • Buck says:

    @ charity
(sorry Tiff, you can pass this along if you like)

You are looking for a way to get your sites moved, well I have really bad news. NB ties the CSS files in knots in secure ares of their servers so they cannot be moved. Actually, several people have told them how to fix the problem, but they refuse to accept their input. They claim their programmers are unable to make it work if it is fixed.

You will need to find a website programmer who can scrape your site and reconstruct it for you so that it works. There is an exact duplicate of the NB site that does not have the css file locked in. I think it is cheaper too. http://www.vendiva.com/

BTW, NB promises to keep your site up for 30 days after you close your account, but they will not give you access to edit or change it.

    I wish you the best.
    Buck

  • James Martin says:

I’m proud of you Tiffany for telling it like it is. This a disturbing trend online right now. More and more Gurus are starting to PIMP out their paying customers with shoddy promotions etc.. Even worse many Gurus have a monthly back end that falls apart overtime. One has stop and think if they really had any intention of supporting the product they just sold you especially with product launch after product launch. It won’t be long before the government gets involved because of scams, fraud and deceptive advertising. The last 3 launches I’ve seen all have a simple 3 step system, remarkable screen shot enticements of earnings, a ridiculous low point of entry, exit screen hell and a monthly back end, no doubt. Why else would the Gurus even promote it that wasn’t the case.

  • David says:

    Hi Tiff -

As we have shared privately over the past few weeks, Craig’s flood of spam emails promoting every scammy IM product that comes down the pike has driven me from his lists as well.

I bought IPK in 2009 and, ironically, discovered you when Craig promoted your IPK for Squidoo product. I’m grateful for that.

I knew things were going South when the IPK 2.0 launch brought next to nothing new for the $37 upgrade, but I did take the opportunity to buy the lifetime Network Blazer subscription for $97, based mostly on your enthusiasm for it. I confess I have yet to put a site on it, and probably won’t.

I am, however, refreshing my IPK sites for Christmas, and building some new ones, because I did make money from them last year in spite of the fact that I got them up really late in the season.

I add my wish to yours that Craig will take your video, along with all of these comments, as a sincere collective hope that he will return to the marketing and support tactics that made him successful in the first place, even if he has to give up the Lamborghini. I would happily return to his list of fans if he did.

  • diana clark says:

Thank you for your honesty and integrity Tiif! A refreshing change. Your integrity will comtinue to be respected by your customers and followers.

Just keep us posted on the truth as you did in your video.

    Sincerely,

    Diana

  • Golden Girl says:

    Yeap…..

You are right on the money here! I sure hope and pray that Craig will that what you’re saying to “HEART”…..not just think you are making this up.

I know we all have techie issues from time to time and frankly, I’m sure he is getting these reports from people he trust about …things maybe not working. The FACTS remain…..”GET IT RIGHT”….so THANK YOU FOR Standing up for the little guy/gal.

Love YOUR “HEART” …because My Dear…YOU….Have
    “HEART”…WELL DONE!

  • Cindy says:

This is why people follow you and trust you. You’re honest and that means something.

I know doing this wasn’t easy. I had a similar situation a while back. Doing the right thing… well, it’s just always the right thing to do. Even though you promoted Craig and his products, you are not to blame whatsoever for his actions. It’s ALL on him. He is the one you has lost credibility and respect among the internet marketing community, not you.

There aren’t a lot of ethical folks online these days. You are THE number one online marketing person I know that is ethical and honest.

Oh, and by the way, I like your videos! It always feels like you are sitting there talking with or listening to a friend.

    Cindy :)

  • Edie says:

I had just, reluctantly, unsubscribed from all of Craig’s emails as there were so many and did not really teach me anything – which is what I am looking for. Still a newbie trying to learn. Def. don’t need spammy emails. Appreciate your willingness to share your heart with your lists.

I had purchased IPK, but hadn’t really used it much as I purchased several things in a short amount of time. Now trying to catch up with all the learning, reading, and doing from those purchases. Thanks again for your openness and honesty.

  • Nancy Ball says:

I have not bought any of his products and after listening to your video, I’m very glad I didn’t. That is such a big turn off when you trust someone enough to buy one of their products and they turn around and spam your email with 100′s of offers they can’t endorse. I learned this a long time ago when I promoted a program I didn’t know much about. An older gentleman who I sponsored was unhappy and I felt so guilty that I send him the money back myself. Thanks for your genuine honesty!

  • Stew Shaw says:

Well done Tiffany. More of you online leaders have to keep doing this, in my view. We little people are thoroughly sick of the way things are going in the IM marketplace, with greed being the dominant driver, rather than aiming to give a good customer experience.

Did you see Mike Filsaime’s “Open Letter to All JV Partners” published on his blog 4 days ago? In it he lists 16 shady and/or unprofessional practices that if engaged in by marketers will prevent him cross-promoting in future, no matter whether they’re his friends or not. It’s a good read and forces you think about the fundamental problem here. And by the way, you’ve gotten nearly as many comments as he got – cool.

  • Robert says:

    Tiff-
Damn, I just bought NB and just started getting familiar with it, so I don’t even know if it is up or down…maybe when I am ready to upload to the server, things will be better…The course is good, and I can always go the route of FTP, Blah,Blah,Blah, but I was so looking forward not too. Should I look at ‘Bring The Fresh’?
Sorry about all of this…It is embarrassing for you and it sucks for us!
    Sincerely,
    Bob

  • greg cryns says:

    Tiff,

FYI, I respond to videos more than text.

Next, Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Glad you made this decision to call someone else’s bluff.

  • Tiffany:

This does nothing but help Craig and yourself as marketers. It’s easy to lose site of doing the right thing (looking out for the customers) when money gets involved.

Thanks for reminding everyone here how important it is to not let the money cloud your judgment. When the dust settles, Craig will see your point and will thank you for keeping him on the right track.

  • Robert says:

    Tiff-
If he doesn’t bounce back, or stand-up!! Then maybe, do a product that is exclusively using IPK and Word press…Give it away to all of your loyal followers who bought IPK/NB and promote to those who didn’t buy it…just a thought…I hope he comes to his senses…
    Bob

  • Vicki says:

Tiff you did the right thing. That 13 minute video was real, and it was obvious that you were uncomfortable having to say what you needed to say. You could have written it but a video is so much more personal, and your regret and sorrow over this break came out loud and clear.

IPK is a good system and it’s a shame he didn’t take it further by adding real value to it. I haven’t opened his emails in over a month because of all the spam. I don’t open many emails from marketers. There are only a few marketers that I actually read the email and you are one of them.

So keep the vlogs coming and I would much rather see Honey in a video than a Lamborghini any day.

  • Jenice says:

    Hey Tif:

I bought IPK last year from your recommendation and have seen results with the course. Yep, I know that you have always backed for him!

In fact, just recently, I started to get some affiliate promotions from him on some guys that the crowd thinks is “re-harshed” and “over-hyped” stuff. In my opinion, he has devalued himself.

But anyway, I’m yet to unsubscribe from his list, hoping to see a good turn around from him.

  • Bob James says:

Tiff: As a writer/internet marketer wannabe I have been on your list for several years and enjoy your writings. Whether it is an email, blog, vlog, or whatever I always seem to learn something from you and isn’t that really the point? It is for me. I don’t really know much about the current topic in your video but it is so refreshing to deal with someone that we know we can trust. It is really scarey out there but you make it a pleasure. Thanks so much for all that you do. Your approach to business and marketing is certainly a reflection of what’s inside. I’ll just bet that your parents are proud! Bob

  • Bob James says:

Tiff: Sorry to double dip but I just saw your response to Patricia right above mine. You go! Our approach to that sort of person is exactly alike. Life is too short. You don’t need the aggravation. Bob

    • Tiffany says:

Yeah Bob I know it’s probably unprofessional of me but then again, I can’t stand someone who focuses their negative energy on stuff like this. Really? There’s nothing worse you can write a blog post about? Have to go get mad at one of the good guys? Kind of ridiculous…

  • Sunshine says:

    Hey Tiff,

I’ll chime in with the rest of the chorus in that I bought IPK in September and returned the product as the product seemed a little light on what I’ve come to expect products to offer nowadays which is some sort of live forum.

I also found the owner too heavy on bombarding my inbox with too many cross promotions on an almost daily basis.

I don’t blame you though for his actions. These guys and gals seem to allow the lure of vast somes of money to really change them to become the lower forms of themselves.

Money is great…but true Prosperity by prospering and helping others to prosper ethically is even better.

    To each his own.

  • Sally K says:

    Tiff,

Thanks for explaining about Craig, and for putting “Patricia” in her place!

  • Tiffany says:

Welcome Sally :) In her “blog post” Patricia says you have to sit through my 13 minute video to find out who it is. I guess she can’t read too well because the video says why I won’t promote IPK and NB and it also says “I hope your comments will make Craig Kaye…”

So maybe Patricia DOES need video if her reading skills aren’t up to par?

  • Tiffany,

You’re last comment made me spit lemonade all over my PC screen!

“So maybe Patricia DOES need video if her reading skills aren’t up to par?”

LMAO She DID deserve that. Just sayin.

  • Cindy says:

You must have hit some nerve with her, that she would go to her site and gossip.. doing the very thing she accused you of.

You did the right thing… and 13 minutes for a video? It was fine! For someone not happy with your video time length, she sure is making a big deal of it!

    Just my two pennies worth…

  • Chuck says:

    Hi Tiffany,
Thank you for coming out and saying and ‘naming’ some of the current problems.
I’ve seen a couple others recently talking about scams and dishonest marketers. I must say it is about time! I just wish there was more ‘naming’
then just ‘a certain marketer’. At least when the marketer’s name is mentioned, we can be more prepared.
Unfortunately we will be seeing the clones coming out as well. Just the other day received an email similar to yours but this one after 3/4 of a page went into the spiel of how his program would do so much more for you then the program the guy he was dissing was selling.
Thanks again for bringing out in the open the type of marketing(and marketers) that we can do well with out.
    Chuck

  • Aric says:

I have a different reason for not watching the video… My laptop has doubled as a sound recorder and an old PA system fried the integrated sound card, so I could watch the video, just could not hear what was said…

Other than that, I mainly sit on these email subscriptions and sort through them when I have time. I haven’t been able to buy any products because of a recent bankruptcy… no credit cards. But I have learned so much the past few years that I could fill a product of my own, probably.

I find myself nodding my head at the majority of these comments as I feel as they do. It takes someone of character and integrity to stand out and say no more. Especially without being so negative about it!

Just like a naval vessel will not leave the dock unless it’s hull has integrity, so we should all be. And I feel you have shown yourself a shining example. (Even if it was 13 minutes, heheh)

    Sir Keystone

  • Felicia Grimes says:

Many internet marketers are about the money less about the person. So I can appreciate the video because it reflects her integrity and desire to protect list. I say BRAVO that she took the time to notify and discuss her reasons for discontinuing using products. Your name and what you represent is all you have at the end of the day.

  • Tiffany, it sounds like you started promoting him and his products since it was good and he provided the necessary support at the time. You spoke from the heart and used some tough love when it was necessary. It’s called integrity and that’s yet another reason why I am a newly loyal follower. Keep it up…and thank you!

  • Jimmy says:

    Whoa, cat fight! lol.

Anyway, about CK. I think IPK is a great product and it works. I’m a newbie and still learning but everything he teaches in this course works spot on and I have learned a lot about SEO. I put this site together from the course and last I checked was ranked pretty high in Goggle. Still trying to figure out the graphics tho and I know its my fault, not my strong point. I get so screwed up with the layers in Gimp to put an Amazon, GO HERE button that I abandoned it for my own pics, because of sheer frustration.

Anyway, look, this boy needs to get his arse in gear as far as promotions and email saturation.

Maybe his auto AW responder got messed up and these were supposed to come out once a month instead of every day. Who knows! You must admit tho, that Ferrari looked good! Didn’t see any women vids.

Tiff, I actually think you done this guy a favor with your video and will make him re-assess his marketing tactics, anyway, whatever…

Oh, btw, I checked out Patricia’s vlog, now there’s a spunky lady, a little highty-tighty but spunky. She did watch it too. Who wouldn’t want to watch?

As always, I enjoy your videos, they are honest and refreshing. Keep up the good work and as they say in England, tooral-pip for now. Cheers Craig and Happy Halloween from Shamoozey.
    J

  • Hans says:

Come on! Why did all this turn into a discussion about Patricia? All Patricia said was, that she would appreciate to be able to READ instead of LISTEN… So okay, she put it slightly differently, but basically that was her point.

And I totally understand her. Personally, I would always prefer the choice of either reading an article or watching a video. No doubt the video (or slideshow) will work better – but if I find myself in a hurry, I will always prefer to make a print of an article – and read it later.

Tiffany, I have always been a fan of your straightforward articles. But I really don’t understand the way you make a go at Patricia.

  • Felicia says:

Although I haven’t bought your products, I have heard so much (good things though) about you. You have my great respect, Tiff.

  • Peggy says:

    Tiff:

I could not agree with you more. I also purchased IPK on your recommendation, and the product is OK. However, all I get is a bunch of junk from him. I guess the money just went to his head and he decided he did not any longer need to consider his customers. I sometime ago unsubscribed from his list. I knew when you made the first post and would not mention any names who you were speaking of, as I was having the same problem. I in turn will not purchase anymore products from him, just because of his behavior. We only have one opportunity to make a good impression on line with our customer and he has made no attempt to show any integrity with his worth ethic.

So thank you for being so honest. As I have said many times previously: “it is an honor to be on your list.”

    With Respect,

    Peggy

  • AbSamu says:

    Way to go, Tiff!

I actually stopped opening Craig Kaye’s e-mail a month ago because he started pushing garbage with deceitful headings… not unsubscribed yet.

Somehow most of these so called gurus don’t think that we also read what is going on at
    http://jointventures.jvnotifypro.com/category/new-product-launches/.

I’ll keep him on just to see how low he gets!

  • Ruth says:

Tiffany – I agree with all the other commenters here and am glad to see this post.

But PLEASE everyone, don’t make this about UK marketers. There are so many scammers from all around the world, this has nothing to do with being from the UK in general, just some specific people. I have seen plenty of groups that all review each others shady products etc from other countries too, I do not make generalised comments about US marketers, for example.

I am from the UK and I do resent the suggestion that being from the UK has ANYTHING to do with this at all.

It’s less about where you’re from, more about just certain individuals somehow ending up using these kind of shady tactics, and it happens everywhere.

Don’t mean to be negative, I just wanted to remind everyone that there are plenty of us out there, all around the world, who would never dream of going down this route. Sometimes, unfortunately, it’s easy to get cynical in this online world. Thanks to Tiffany for helping to rectify that.

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Ruth! I totally agree. Never once did I even mention he’s a UK marketer – others have said things like, “I hate it that he’s a UK marketer like me,” but I don’t think about it that way at all! There’s plenty of US, UK, and everywhere marketers who have issues!

  • Nicola says:

@ Stew Shaw Aahhh the great Mike Filsaime – the man who invented the upsells and downsells that drive us all crazy! lol

To add insult to injury, because I cancelled the upgrade of $37 I am now locked out of the $97 product I paid for, so it looks like another arduous 2 week wait from Craigs ‘support’ team.

I really think Craig’s loosing the plot. The $37 product was a product he gave away to his subscribers as bonus for their customers. He’d already given it to me for free!

    Tiff,

I really wouldn’t give Patricia a link on your blog, she doesn’t deserve the link juice or the publicity – maybe a voucher for her next eye test may be more appropriate!

  • Hi Tiff

You’ve made the right decision – I wanted to shoot you an email before about IPK and the reasons why you promote it, but I thought it is not my place to “tell you what you should and should’nt promote” but I’ve asked a refund because the support was horrible (sorry to say that). My laptop was stolen and I requested a new password and login details. Guess what? After numerous support tickets and 2 weeks later they told me that they cannot send me a new password.

Needless to say I requested a refund because it is of no use to me to own a product I cannot access. Luckily I’ve unsubscribed from his list!

Stick with your decision – like your mentor advised for the benefit of your own business.

    Kind regards
    Elmien

  • Hi Tiff

Sorry to post again – I also own Profitzon and Daniel Brock is one hell of a nice bloke – he never spams you and he provide real fresh content and stuff. I cannot wait to open his mails. He truly cares about your success!

  • Ngahiwi says:

    Hello Tiffany,

I have to say that IPK support have been good and my questions were answered almost immediately including one with Craig’s signature.

One of the conversations was about getting IPK updates but not all the promotion emails. Unfortunately this could not be done and I was advised I could unsubscribe. I did not do this in case of updates for IPK, but I no longer receive any emails at all. I’m happy about this but not so about the updates if there should be any…so I lose…or do I win:)-

Like you I think the product is great, but I have found wordpress is good too for Amazon sites. I’ve kissed my $97 ‘Network Blazer’ account goodbye now too. (I’m sorry about that Because it’s so easy to use.) It’s just that I prefer WP. I will buy a WP cloner now.

I emailed again just a few days ago about ‘Network Blazer’ and the response was immediate and positive.

I bought both IPK and BTF from your links, so thank you for that. Thank you also for your forthright opinions. I have trusted you from get go, that’s why I buy what you recommend. (these two only so far)

I have also just logged into ‘Network Blazer’. Yes its up as of now. Time 12.45am NZ time Friday 8th Oct.

So my experience has been positive but I hear ya about the email promotions and I certainly did not like that!..but now I’m on the outer. OK with me tho.

I feel your sadness..it is difficult, especially a friend. I appreciate you.

  • Ruth says:

Thanks Tiff, I understand you didn’t bring that up. I hope I didn’t come across too strong, it’s just a feeling I got off some of the comments to this post mentioning shady UK groups of marketers. But it’s great to have such a solid community here with so many comments – we’re all working to do things the RIGHT way, to prove all the scammers wrong, and this is a very good example you’ve set. As we’ve seen, not all marketers think so carefully about what they promote! I’m glad you take care of your list.

  • Rebecca says:

Sorry to respond to so many in one post – and to leave out so many others with whom I strongly agree and identify, but I’ve got papers I need to grade to return in a few hours ~

Hans ~ come on ~ “so okay, she put it differently” ~ Really? Even before I became interested in internet marketing, as a reader and a writer and a writing teacher, I’ve always known (and you, as internet marketers should know) that words have power ~ indeed, words ARE power ~ that can do much good or much harm by the way you wield them. I think Tiffany’s response to Patricia was mild and reasonable, under the circumstances ~ and I was the one who alerted Tiff to her comments, and the fact that she had no problem spending the time to vent her spleen both here and on her own blog, because I found her response offensive, to say the least (which is all I have time to say).

Aric ~ I really feel for you and identify with your struggle ~ though it’s been a couple of years ago, I’ve been through the same kind of financial troubles, including a foreclosure and whatnot ~ Thanks to the same kind of people who use these unethical tactics and to a government (US) that somehow thinks its okay to bail out the bad guys while completely ignoring the people they took (and are continuing to take) advantage of. Its one of the reasons I began investigating IM and that I’m so grateful to have found Tiff. You’re on the right track and going about it the right way, and following Tiff is one of those right ways because she’s always honest and stand up, as this video shows ~ I know it’s hard to keep positive, believe me, but don’t give up ~ you’ll get there, and still be able to sleep nights.

Ruth ~ please don’t think any of this has anything at all to do with Craig being from the UK. In fact, as a huge anglophile, I can tell you that his being from the UK was actually a selling point for me, and like Tiff, I bought early on when he was still actually answering his own emails.

In fact, if someone says it’s from the UK, whatever it is gets a second look from me. Witness the following: (and that’s a university comp class), and this , and especially this,my Eddie ~ whom I’ve loved since I first saw him in Dressed to Kill (even though he looks better in make up than I do!), and I’d marry him, too, if I were ten years younger and he’d stand still long enough!:

My hubby and I saw him the only night he played in (bible belt) Indiana ~ and he played to a packed house ~ on his most recent “Stripped” tour. _Believe_ ~ the semi-documentary bio-pic dvd about his life is very moving and inspiring for those of us still struggling to “make it” in whatever endeavor we’ve embarked upon.

ANYWay, I’ve gotta go grade my students’ papers but anyone who’d like to talk about any of the fun stuff above without clogging up Tiff’s blog are welcome to email me off list ~

    Rebecca ~
    RenaissanceWomanInk@gmail.com

  • Rebecca says:

Sorry again ~ seems the urls I listed got filtered out ~ they were one to my English 108 website at Purdue(which is themed on HP), the other to a pdf of my article on the Weasley Twins (which was published by in a text by a Brit publisher, btw), and one to Eddie Izzard’s website ~ and those don’t even begin to count the ways I love England, like Dr. Who, like Love, Actually, like . . . arrrgghhh! I’ve GOT to get on those papers ~ okay, I’m turning off this provocative computer right now!
Cheers everyone! and have a FABulous day!

  • PatriciaS says:

Well, Tiffany, I have issued an apology on my post. I went back and re-read my post and could see why people were taking exception to what I said there. And I’ll issue an apology for the post on my blog to you here, as well. I don’t take back everything I said (I’m true to myself as well), but I did try to make sure it wasn’t all seemingly aimed at you.

BTW, one of your ardent fans is a rank misogynist, called me the C-word. AFAIC, that’s uglier than anything I could ever say. Just so you know in case you don’t.

    • Tiffany says:

Glad you could see that side of it Patricia. As I said before, your initial statement letting me know your preferences was fine. It was the blog that made it look like I was seedily doing some tricky maneuver to force people to come watch me in all my glory so I could get an ego boost. I know you haven’t really changed your view on that from the looks of your blog post. I don’t know what afaic is? I know the c word and of course I don’t condone that. I even used witch. LOL!

  • Hey Tiffany,
I just learned a big lesson with your video today and I deeply thank you for that! The good attitude and well treating people have always been on the top of my values list. One can sometimes so easily get owerwhelmed by different things in life, not just in business, and forget about the important things that really matter. And that’s when we need friends like you to ground us again. Thank you for reminding me of that :)

  • jordan says:

    This guy is a cheater.

And are you aware that al your Network Blazer sites reside in his server, meaning he has access to ALL YOUR PROJECTS?

    Too bad

  • Vicki says:

    Tiff:

I bought his product in July when he relaunched it and like suzanne commented yesterday, I’ve got nothing but spam from him. Absolutely no IPK updates at all. I’ve been pondering removing myself from his lists because of all this crap he is promoting and not “tending his own back yard”. As consumers, we can tell who is in it from the heart and who is in it for the money. Keep up the good work, Tiff. I love hearing from you and I love your stuff.

Thank you! I remember the day you began promoting IPK and I bought from your link right away. Because you earned my trust. You now have it even more, if that’s possible. (your ebook publishing book is the best)

I too, have been wondering what’s been going on with not only Craig, but so many of the marketers. This past week, I’ve been unsubscribing from lists like crazy.

Whatever new product is launched, the inbox is filled with the same stuff from all of them. They are even too lazy to write their own copy. All they see is the money signs and we all know they think of their list as a bunch of suckers.

I totally agree with everything you’ve said on the subject. What a wonderful world it would be if all the marketers had your integrity.

    Well done, Tiff!

    Wow Tiff!

    Thank you.

You have verbalized the feelings I’ve had in the last few months.

I thought my first impressions of Craig must have been wrong. I purchased IPK’s first version when it came out and I had Craig much higher up my list of internet marketers.

It’s disheartening to have someone… anyone disappoint you. I too, like you hope that Craig realizes that his online persona has been dropping like a rock and turns things around.

Thanks for having the courage to assert yourself.

Whether you know it or not, you speak for many of us.

    Tiffany,
I had already removed my name from Craig’s list before I saw this video. I have not purchased his products, but I still get several emails a day from him. Unlike you, he doesn’t offer help or encouragement, but instead just tries to sell me more stuff I don’t have time to read/use/etc.
