Angel Fund Use, Congratulations, Swagger, PLR Confusion
Making use of my video account so feel free to watch it or read below! Also, it seems the non US people can’t see the video – can ANYone from another country view the video? Just wondering. Today we’re talking about the first funds spent on from the Angel Fund, congratulations to three of our fellow commentors here, a case of swagger, and why do some people buy PLR not knowing what it is?
Okay happy Friday everyone! I’m excited – my hubby has friends coming in so we have company. I’ll have my kiddos home with me for the weekend – LOVE this weather. All is right with the world.
Angel Funds
So first of all, you’ll see a new update in the Angel Fund page. I had two men who I’ve been corresponding with – I won’t be giving out names, etc. Both are over 40 with smaller children and families. Both have proven they know some things and have tried hard, some with small success, but nothing enough to support a family.
The Angel Fund used up $69 on these two people last night and today. Here’s how: One person got the Grammar guide because he developed a good business model on his own, proved his talent and drive and determination and willingness to take constructive criticism. That was $1. He just needed a little polishing to develop repeat buyers and a sturdy reputation.
The other person got PLR ATM for $1 and Ghostwriting Cash for $67. I want this person to work on the two simultaneously. He needed no help with writing, just the business aspect of it. He also offered up front to put what little he had in PayPal toward the Angel Fund. I told him to hold off for a little bit until he has a few dollars coming in and THEN pay it forward like that – because I know he might need that $20 for a Warrior For Hire ad or a domain, etc., and I’m not paying for domains, hosting, etc., out of those funds.
But he was thinking of giving before he even knew I was offering anything. He was $2 and some change short for PLR ATM so he only wanted to borrow the $2. Very cool. But as I spoke with him more about his situation, I realized he needed to follow my advice and begin with GWC, which costs a lot more.
By the way, I mentioned last week that there might be someone who I would spend part of the Angel Funds on – that person wound up not being a right fit. I’m weeding out good prospects for your hard earned dollars! So now we have $796 left to help others with.
Congratulations on Some People Here!
We have a few people we all chit chat with here in the blog comments. I want to give a few shout outs today to:
Sharon – who just had a sweet little baby boy recently! Congratulations! By the way, she’s the sweetheart who, right before going into labor, contributed to the Angel Fund herself – amazing! I want another baby but the hubby says no to that
I’d have a million if I could!
Tiffiney Cowan – a PLR ATM student who emailed me to let me know how excited she is. Launched her store and got her first customer 2 days later. Got positive feedback from her customer. And had a repeat buyer for her next pack! I know it’s exciting when you start seeing sales. And I love to hear about those successes! Congratulations!
Dave Stewart - he and I have been chatting via email about getting his ghostwriting business going. He was encouraged to network in the WF and spiff up his website, and he’s been working hard! Well he emailed me this morning with news of a nibble on his services. So congratulations! UPDATE: Dave got the gig!
Don’t Buy Things Unless You Know What They Are
I never do this – even for $1. LOL Maybe I’m cheap. But I got a refund request for a PLR pack (sorry, Charlie – no refunds on PLR) because the lady bought and had no clue what PLR was. She bought and then wanted confirmation that they were unique articles for her that she could put on article directories.
You’re not going to get $1 per page ghostwriting of that caliber. Won’t happen. But if I go buy something called PLR content and I don’t know what it is, I’m gonna Google it. Just a little reminder for those who buy blindly.
It’s also just not a good thing to do on products, period. It’s inconsiderate. I have some people refund a ClickBank product because they say, “Oh I thought your Ghostwriting Cash product” would teach me how to write. Now if they read the sales copy, which you SHOULD, it would be very specific that it’s not that at all. So now they’re contributing to a refund rate – and no one can differentiate between a refund that’s because of a poor product versus a refund because the customer didn’t take care to see what they were buying.
So be considerate of all sellers.
Got Swagger?
My son cracks me up. My oldest Dylan – he’s talking to me about speech class and how nervous he is, and i told him everyone’s nervous and the best thing he can do is get up there and engage his audience (walk around, no notes, talking etc) and they’ll all be going, “Oh crap I don’t want to go after HIM!” And he agreed.
So this morning he texted me about how everyone was nervous and one girl couldn’t even do her speech at ALL. I told him to just go in with his swagger. He said: “What do YOU know about swagger?” I told him I got swagger!! I said over 9,000 people subscribe to my swagger. LOL! I was talking to him previously about how terrified I was to do video marketing, but now many of my readers are paralyzed and I’m not anymore. He said, “Were you kidding about the 9,000+ people?”
I guess that sounds like a HUGE amount to someone not in IM but compared to guru 100K lists, it’s not
So I said yes, I have over 2,500 UNIQUE visitors per day to my blog checking out my swagger. He’s laughing at (with?) me. LOL! Ah well, can’t ever be cool to your kids, can you?
Alright I’m off with my bad self now. Time to write up a list of materials we need for the play. This room mom stuff is a lot of work! Have a great weekend everyone!
Tiff

Tiff, I’m in Israel and I have no problems watching the video. I’m not using any kind of proxy either.
Thanks Isobel!
Hi Tiff,
Just to let you know that I’m outside the U.S. but I can watch the video just fine.
Good luck to your son by the way — I’m very shy so I know how it feels like. I’m **dreading** the video marketing aspect of the upcoming branding challenge (I’m very self-conscious about my accent). =)
Thanks Selena – I got your email too fyi and will get the commission fixed up
Selena,
I don’t know if you market outside or inside the U.S. (or both), but Americans LOVE accents! (Mostly because they don’t think they have one of their own…at least not until they go outside the U.S. – we’re very naive that way).
I for one can’t WAIT to hear it!
Debi J
she’s right!
Really? I had no idea! I just assumed people would be turned off or they wouldn’t understand what I’m saying. Do you (Debi, Tiff, everyone) think it could pose a problem for PLR sellers specifically? I imagine people would prefer to buy from native english speakers (not that it guarantees the articles will be perfect, but even so…). Just curious if there are other PLR sellers out there in the same position I’m in (english as a second language).
I don’t see a problem at all
Your writing shows no sign of it so no worries!
Thanks so much for the feedback, all of you! I’m feeling more confident already. I’m loving the whole PLR thing — it’s the first time I’ve made money online consistently. By the way, Tiff: pretty soon it will be one year since I bought PLR ATM and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve accomplished so far. I think you’ll be proud. =)
That is a cool feeling – consistent money!
Hey all!
First a thought for Selena PLRDiva!Nope. I don’t think the accent is a problem for you at all. In fact, I think it could work to your advantage in some ways. I get bunches of emails and some are obviously written by folks for whom English isn’t their first language and they don’t necessarily have a handle on the translation. Sometimes it’s just to literal & correct to flow. Think you could capitalize on that in some way!
AND…..I’m so close to Montreal I’m sometimes blocked from US video. I’m not having any probs with yours. You look GREAT Tiffany.
I think the Angel Fund is a wonderful concept.Looking forward to watching it develop!
Thanks Kate
Cute son story. Yes, please let him know that you definitely got swagger! Too funny.
lol Oh I know my swagger is called DORK but I’m cool with that
Hi Tiffany:
Another great post today. It is good that you clarified what PLR articles are. Also, I can’t say enough about the Angel Fund you have created. It is going to be a big help to those that need it. Have a nice weekend. Take Care, Sam
thanks Sam!
Wow…thanks so much for the shoutout Tiff. I really appreciate it!
And congrats to Tiffiney and Dave…hope you make many more sales soon
awww just saw his pic on your site – preciousness!
Sharon,
Congratulations on the new bundle of joy! I just LOVE that “new baby” smell!
Debi J
I can see it in Canada!
great! thanks
Congratulations to Sharon if I may add. Babies are so darn cute. Mine are all grown, but I have the grandma advantage:-) My fourth grandchild is due in April. I get goosebumps thinking about it. Still early but I’m excited. And for your PLR ATM, and Ghostwriting students, a big thumbs up. Good to hear about those that just do it and take action, it is encouraging for me.
I agree – love babies! Not ready to be a grandma yet though lol
Hi, Tiffany! Your video came through in fine fettle in Nova Scotia, Canada!
yea! perfect!
Awesome on the first 2 recipients from the Angel Fund!! Sending good wishes your way!
Congratulations Sharon on your new baby, and Whoo-hoo to Tiffiney on your PLR success and Dave on your ghostwriting nibble through the WF!!
Hahaha on swagger! My kids use that word all the time and if I ever use it, they just give me a patronizing smile and say – oh mom.
Yeah I hear “Oh Mom” (with eye roll) a lot lol
Thanks Kelli!
Video’s coming through perfect here in Sweden.
Thank’s
Love how y’all are so all over the world! How cool is that?
I’m from Ausria and I can watch just fine. Recently cleaned up my plugins and addons for Firefox because I had problems with some video streams on other sites, so maybe that’s the culprit for some?
It’s great that the angelfund is helping people! And I love reading the success stories – congratulations to all of you!
We love your swagger Tiff! In a way your list is bigger than those of the “gurus” even if it’s not 100k. You sure got a better response rate and following and that’s what counts!
Wish you a great weekend & have fun tonight! I’ll rest up today so I have extra energy tomorrow. Planning an insanely productive day and a round of cold beer with friends as a reward after finishing up all the writing I’ve been puttung off this week. Hope I can finally get it all done =)
awesome! But I’m going to hide the proxy info
Have a great weekend!
sure, just realized that this info could be misused too =)
Great story about your son Tiff. I love your family stories and Honey videos. Makes us feel like we’re “real” good friends not just internet friends.
I almost never ask anyone for a refund. I bought your internet marketing mega pack twice, (at 2 different times) and didn’t realize it until I went to download it onto the same flash drive. (My computer is really old and I’m so afraid it’s going to die on me, so anything important I put on a flash drive).
I just laughed and thought to myself that it really was a good pack, and was really glad I bought the second one at your dollar sale.
I like hearing about other people’s lives too, Mary! Oh don’t worry about that – someone who accidentally buys twice isn’t the kind of person I’m talking about. LOL! You can refund on that
Awesome job on the Angel Tiffany. Next step for these folks is to learn and implement. DO NOT be afraid to make mistakes or that something will fail. All of my best lessons have come from failures. Figure out what went wrong and fix it. Do NOT be afraid to put yourself out there and DO NOT be afraid of success.
Agree Bill! I learn from fails too
Tiff – sounds like you have international swagger, hehe.
lol yep! Well you know I AM cool and all. NOT!
Hi, Tiff,
Good news on the angel fund use. I hope to be able to contribute some day soon.
Congrats to Sharon on the new baby. Enjoy the early years while they are still cuddly. They grow out of it too soon.
I hear the “Oh, Mom!” with accompanying eye roll, too, and my kids are in their thirty’s. Now I also hear, “Oh, Gramma!” but not nearly so often as Charles hears, “Graaampaaa!” and a head shake. He’s a bit of a punster–the kids love it, but like to pretend they don’t.
Regards to all!
LOL Linda I can’t wait
Hi Tiffany i am in the u.k. and apart from a shaky start you are coming through load and clear on your video. and of course as charming and beautiful as ever. ( I know how to creep!)
Great! And don’t let my beauty blind you Cyril! LOL!!
The videos are coming through fine here in Asuncion, Paraguay.
So cool hearing all the countries!
Tiffany
I especially like the “swagger” story. 1970 I dropped out of college because I couldn’t get up in front of the speech class. Bummed around for a couple years and got tired of dad telling me to get a haircut so I enlisted in the Army. Made sense at the time except Viet Nam was still going on even though I never set foot inside there (lucky). I did develop a swagger as long as I was like Charlie Chaplain. Silent film star for you youngsters. I have the programs PLR ATM and several other items and still haven’t developed a swagger in it but am still reading it for about the 3rd time and listening to the videos. Even though I’ve not figured it out I won’t want any refund and I’m not moving back home with my mom either. If I only had the swagger of my grandkids..Thanks for your PLR help and friendship.
Thank YOU Jeff and you can have as much swagger as you want my friend! Speech class – I LOVED it. For some reason I love arguing with people. lol
Great to see you swagger Tiff
Alex from the UK
Yea! Thanks Alex
Hi Tiffany, I’m from Singapore and the video is working real fine.
Thanks Janet! Wow SO many of you are non Americans – how awesome!
I’m in Alabama – I’m pretty sure that’s a whole ‘nother planet! And I can see/hear you just fine!
Yes, I miss Dallas – can you tell? Ha.
Of course you got swagger! Silly manboy just can’t see through his own ego/hormones/whatever to recognize real swagger! And I can say that ‘cuz’ I have two manboys of my own – 17 and 18!
Well Dallas misses you!
Congrats to Sharon, Tiffiney and Dave!
I agree 100% about checking things out before you buy so you know exactly what you are getting. I also feel that some people will scam and use the “I didn’t know” as an excuse to get free products.
Being shy myself I can definitely relate to how your son feels but you are right with the advice you gave him.
Yeah I think so too Alice!
Tiff and Honey,
Have a great weekend with your company. Honey, Happy says to “stay in the house! No more scaring your Mommy to death. She has a lot of people to train and educate in this world.”
Holly
LOL!
Great post as always and love the swagger story! Video coming through fine in the UK
thanks Paul!!
Hi Tiff – (Another UK Bod Calling here) – No, can’t see the video – nice blank space though
weird! So now we need to figure out why some can, some can’t – we’ve ruled out country issues!
I use firefox which used to be good. But since the latest upgrade I’ve found some videos won’t play – PLUS! – they’ve gone all Anti-Google for some reason.
It also installed Babylon search which has definitely affected the speed of my computer and it seems impossible to get shot of
I’ve tried watching the Dan kennedy videos with no luck and you’d think ‘he’ of all people would be using a reliable platform.
Hmmmmm?? I Just tried in IE browser and it works
Looks like Firefox has you numbered Tiff.
Pete.
I hate firefox lol!
Another off the wall question?
I unsubscribe from a site and then 2-3 months later I start getting e-mail again. Is this a game some “gurus” play?
Happened again today with Ron LeGrand.
This kind of activity tells me their list is weak.
Appreciate any comments.
Bob
That’s weird – lately I heard from a couple of people who said they suddenly quit getting my emails. Maybe a glitch or something?
now they get “swagger” – back in the day, we used to practice the “pimp roll”… now it’s natural, its’ called “bad back” LOL
Hope you’re having an awesome day!
How we doing on the “branding” thing? is there something I missed?
;lol Bad back! We start branding October 1st!
Sure enjoy your blog. Could be that your remind me that I’m a Texan even if I am trapped in NC right now. Not too sure I have much swagger. I don’t mind being in front of people making a speech or talking extemporaneously, but I have never seen myself as a fellow with swagger. Maybe it’s a generational thing–I’m 65. *grin* Have a great weekend and enjoy your company.
I think you have plenty of swagger – especially if you’re Texan lol
Get ya swag on!
That’s so funny. Even though I can’t stand standing up in front of people, I actually enjoyed my communications class far more than when I had to do presentations outside of that particular class. Perhaps it was the professor. I’m not really sure.
I like it to Joey!
Sounds like the “fund” is off to a good start. I can empathize with your son, I remember being a wreck giving my first class presentation in high school. Just tell him, EVERYBODY is afraid their first time! (Anybody who says otherwise is either lying or in denial, lol.) Just remember, as he noticed, he’s speaking to a lot of sympathetic people in class. BTW, I went on to become a trainer/seminar giver and giving presentations in front of hundreds, so it does get easier! An old adage that goes with what you said in your video, “Fake it, till you make it!”
Not sure how I’d do in front of hundreds but a few don’t scare me lol
I’m with you Randy! I’ve always been able to talk to groups, eventually stood on stage to train hundreds…but Speech class in College…eegads!! For me it was more about knowing that I was talking on a topic that the instructor assigned that no one else in class ASKED to hear about!
Put me in a room of people who are intentionally there to hear about a topic I’m passionate about and you’ll have to remind me when it’s time to shut up! LOL
Debi J
Greetings from the UK.
I can see the video with no problems.
Congratulations to Sharon – Oh my goodness – Baby Jaiden is adorable. Take care.
Congrats also to two fellow graduates of the Tiffany Dow School. Good luck with the PLR and ghostwriting.
It is so nice to hear about how others are doing so thank you Tiff for providing such a platform.
Re: Angel Fund Recipients – We all want to hear about how these folks are doing but it is completely understandable that some prefer to remain anonymous. What about if you just allocate a random name to each person by working throuh the alphabet (like naming hurricanes). You could even list them on your Donor page. We would get our updates and they would keep their anonymity. Just a suggestion as the list will get longer and it will get harder for us to keep track.
That’s it.
Have a great evening and a lovely weekend.
Tiptopcat:)
Scared it’d be hard to track but those who succeed usually do tell me their success so i can relay it!
It’s great to see so many people here from all over the world! At first I couldn’t see the video but I just needed to update my flash player and now if works perfect here in the UK. I get lazy with my updates…:-)
So now your swagger’s coming across perfectly here – much better than Daily Motion.
It’s funny that you mention people not knowing what PLR is. I had my very first sale this week and guess what? – my first buyer emailed me after they purchased asking me what PLR was!
I spend a couple of days emailing back and forth and then when they finally understood they went and bought another pack!
At first I was thinking: WHY ME? Why does my first PLR customer not even know what PLR is? I feel like great force is at work to challenge me sometimes – but it all worked out well in the end with 2 sales. So, I can’t complain!
Now all I need to do is go and go and find some more swagger ready for the branding challenge.
Lol glad u worked it out nathan!
Hi Tiff,
Great news about the Angel fund.
BTW, I live in Australia and I can watch your videos. If anyone is having trouble, they need to make sure they have the latest adobe flash installed.
Also, if they aren’t on broadband, the trouble can simply be loading time.
I used to work on a customer support desk and saw issues like this all the time. In most cases the problem are those I mentioned above.
I hope this helps:)
Good to know thanks!
Tiff,
I just heard that word back in action a few days ago. My son had some teen say it to him in reference to something my son was doing.
I love when today’s teens come up with stuff they think is original. THEY don’t know what swagger is until they kick back with those John Wayne movies my mom loved to watch…now THAT’S swagger!!
SO great to hear the Angel Fund is being used to combat evil around the world…well, at least in Tiff’s part of it (which seems to BE the world from what I’m reading!).
Debi J
Yes! Shawn is named after The Quiet Man
one of my favorite lines in that movie:” would you be wanting a nice stick to beat the lady with?” from ANOTHER WOMAN… after I picked my jaw off the floor, I laughed until I had the hiccups… imagine how that line impacted folks in 1952! if it hadn’t been “The Duke”, they would probably have burnt the theater LOL
Hi Tiff,
No probs with the video in the 9 x 7.
I double checked and yes I got a swagger too. It’s old age and arthritic joints. LOL
Adrian
Tiff,
I personally enjoy your swagger quite a bit rofl! Hope his speech went well. All of us can contest to stage fright sometimes. I remember being afraid to even write an article thinking everyone would think it was terrible!
LOL! Well I know I enjoy my swagger.
Hi Tiff
I am in Australia (Brisbane) as well and had no problems watching your video – I’d be swaggering as well if I had 9,000 people from all over the world following!!
Congrats to Sharon, Tiffany and Dave as well and the two recipients of the Angel Fund, I hope we haven’t made too much extra work for you!!
What did you mean about “off with your bad self now”?
Well hello down under! lol. Off with my bad self… my cousin (rest her soul) used to say, “Git on down the road wit your bad self” as a joke. Like “Get outta here!” As in “you gotta be kidding” so I was saying it that way.
Arrrr, I think I see! Hope you enjoy your weekend
Hi Jan,
I noticed you are in Brisbane, so am I. I live in Karana Downs. Wanted to say g’day. It’s nice to know there’s someone else here sharing the experience.
If you want to connect, just let me know.
Hi Deborah
I live close to Sunnybank and my contact details are at http://janclifford.vemma.com/ I have to put a “contact me” form on my main blog site.
Hi Jan,
You can reach me at this email address if you wish.
dsmarticlewriter @ gmail.com
Have a great day.
Tiff … video is swaggalicious here in Malaysia.
Whoa I’m nowhere NEAR swaggalicious yet! lol
Can view video fine here in Oz
Can relate to feeling shy and not wanting to stand up in front of a crowd. It is easier when it is something that you are passionate about, but can still be uncomfortable for some of us !!
Congrats Sharon on the birth of Jaiden – he looks gorgeous.
Yea! glad you can see it
Oh man my heart skipped a beat when I read my name!! Thanks for the shout-out Tiff!
Great advice to your son – but no suprise there!
I’m rooting for the two angel-recipients. Exciting!
Glad you have your URL in here so people can check it out!
No problem viewing in the philippines Tiff
Philippines, eh? My parents got our furniture from there when I was young – beautiful hand craftsmanship!
Hi Tiff,
I am from Australia and can see the videos fine…….no ads and clear as a bell woohoo!!!!!
All the best Di
Great! Thanks Di!
Great use of the Angel Fund, Tiff
congratulations to all of you.
I was terrified to get up in front of a class when in school and college. When i went to work, I had do get up in front of 200 people. I was able to do that but would play with a pen behind the podium.
I’d have to fidget too!
Hello everyone,
I’m very new here, a tried & true newbie.
But sure glad to be here! Anxious to get familiar with everyone.
I can relate to Dylan’s situation. I was an adult when I first started teaching College level, and I was still nervous. The more Dylan gets up before his speech class, the easier it gets.
If Dylan takes after his Momma, he will do just fine. That’s my thoughts.
Glad to say hello to everyone!
Thanks Bob! I bet he’ll do just fine too
Hi Tiffany,
Video worked just fine!
Maartin
South Africa
Thanks Maartin!
Namaste to Tiffany,
video in the Welsh valley coming through nice and clear.
Awesome thanks for letting me know!
Congrats Sharon on the new baby, Tiffiney and Dave. Also congrats to the the two people who got use of the Angel fund. And good luck to them. When your son actually does get up in front of the class once he will see how easy it is. Most of us just don’t have the opportunity to do it as often.
True – I urged him to take speech in high school to no avail.
Hi Tiffany,
Can see and hear you clear as a bell from the other side of the world – Lucknow, India.
Isn’t the internet marvellous?
The video stutters a little because of the download speed, I suppose.
Mekhola
Yes it is! Sorry there’s a stutter.
Hi Tiffany.
I’m in Ireland. I watched all of your video it’s crystal clear in sound and vision.
Have a good weekend.
Brendan.
Awesome! The hubby’s going to Ireland this year for a visit
I’m from outside of the US and see the videos just fine.
thanks Miriam!
Hi Tiff
Video’s viewable in London too. Would perhaps be easier to ask whoever said they couldn’t see the video where they were when they tried to view it, ‘cos it was obviously a sweeping statement when they said it couldn’t be seen outside the US! (Admit it, you’re really trying to find out how many different countries your readers are from, aren’t you?!)
Cheers!
LOL No I swear! It wasn’t that but it sure is cool to see! I’ve decided it must be some update issue since it’s not countries or browsers.
Just to let you know, I can see you swaggering just fine over here in Sweden <3
I've been following you for some time and haven't really dared to speak up a lot (I find all this marketing business still very confusing) but I joint Elance a little while ago and landed my first ghostwriting job yesterday! I'm not doing so well on the PLR at the moment because I put everything I write into my portfolio (or is it ok to sell anyway?) I hope to get to that soon though and to get my own site up in time.
woohoo! Sweden – awesome! Please dare to speak up here
So happy for you on the ghostwriting gig! And yes you can sell it but just let your list know if you have one.
