Angels All Around Us

Hi everyone. I want to talk about Angels today. Maybe the religious kind – maybe not. An angel can be many things to many people. I’m in a very grateful mood today.

I woke up reeling from this bronchial infection, which took a turn for the worst in the wee morning hours. I couldn’t move when I woke up, tears started flowing out of me. My hubby came running w/a glass of ice water and some headache medicine. He then goes into the bathroom and is on his hands and knees drawing me a nice hot bubble bath.

He’s swishing the water around, to make the bubbles bigger. Cuz anyone who’s just poured bubble bath in knows it fizzles out unless you mix it up really good. He has the hand held shower sprayer, making sure the BACK of the bath is as warm as the front. I’m sitting there crying – partially because I feel horrid, and partially because it was so sweet of him to be there for me going that extra mile.

I get out and there’s my 12 yr old son making me a pot of coffee. He remembered how. He even mixes my cup of coffee perfect and it’s the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had in my life.

My daughter? Well she crawls up behind me on the couch and starts to give me a backrub with lotion to make me feel better. My older son Dylan goes into the kitchen to do the dishes for me. He did the grocery shopping yesterday when I first started getting sick.

Mom rings me up and says she’s coming over here to get the kids in the morning for carpool.

My online friends – they’re all over the place offering tips, saying prayers, wishing me well. Each one literally makes me tear up.

I simply know every one of those mentioned above is an angel sent to help me in this life. Now what you consider an angel is up to you. I believe in them literally, even though I am not a fan of organized religion. (Just for personal reasons)

I look back on yesterday, finding out a popular social media personality (Trey Pennington) has committed suicide and I think about how lonely he must have felt. So many people reeling from his death – not just his offline friends and family, but online ones too.

Everyone said he was always so upbeat online.

But see, many people don’t want to humanize themselves (warts and all) online. They keep certain personality aspects for their offline use only. I don’t do that. I believe strongly in reaching out to people with all that I have. That may mean they see a different side to me – one that’s not always rainbows and unicorns.

One that sometimes feels self conscious or unsure of myself. One that can be wrong (like when I didn’t have a good feeling about Kelly Felix at first and then changed my mind and admitted my mistake to everyone). One that admits I don’t always know the right answers – but you can bet I’ll hold your hand as we go find them together.

I believe each of us is an angel to another person.

I have friends on here who check in on me. We don’t talk marketing at ALL. We just talk about kids, our health, our dreams.

Someone in the comments yesterday worried about using an angel reference in her online business. I say embrace it. An angel is something that is there to protect us, to guide us, to help us have a better life. It doesn’t always mean it’s a religious entity.

I tell my son Dylan all the time that he was literally an angel God sent to make me see the value in life. I truly believe that because until I had kids, I really didn’t get it myself. I was rather “meh” about it all. Now I see the gift – and it’s not a God versus science thing. It’s that I recognize how special life is, period.

So today there’s nothing to buy, nothing to teach.

Just a big old thank you to those of you who are MY angels online. Those of who are in the community here. Realize that you make my life better through your friendship and I am so lucky – and thank God for you – every single night of my life (literally, in my prayers).

Love you guys!

Tiff

Hope you feel better soon, Tiffany!

  • Such an angelic post! I love Angels and have an Angel site and 17 squidoo Angel pages!Plus a few in progress….agree totally that we can all be angels to each other and you don’t have to like religion to love Angels. (I don’t) Sounds like you live with a bunch of Angels! hmm, wonder where they learned those behaviors, hmmm…..get well soon, and my Herbalist side says take extra vitamin c and probiotics.

  • C.J. Hallock says:

    Tiff-
Gotta love the small things! I hate that you feel bad but I agree with you … Angels (people who care) either online or off means more than some people know.

I never truly said thank you… BUT, When dad died and you asked people on twitter to pray for me. The massive response I received put the biggest smile on my face! I know I never met any of the people on twitter who sent there condolences and comforting words in my time of need, face to face. But I do know that you, as well as those on your list are my online angels for that and I want to thank you! That was one of the lowest times in my life and you were there to pick me up!

So I have to say… Get Better! Stay Boosted! Eat some chicken noodle soup…(it helps me feel better no matter what I have) and I know I cant do much being on the other side of the US but if there is anything that you need … feel free to ask and that means anytime not just because your sick!!

    Get Better Tiff!!
    C.J.

  • Edie says:

What a lucky woman you are for the great family unit you have. Not everyone is as blessed.

Hope you get to feeling better very fast – with all the angel dust around you, your healing should go pretty quickly!

Thanks for sharing from your heart – we all have our angels – we just don’t realize they are there until we really need to see them.

    • Tiffany says:

I know Edie and it breaks my heart. I heard Trey was going through a divorce from his wife of 28 yrs and just devastated. Breaks my heart to see people suffering.

  • Oh wow, what a timely post indeed.

The part you wrote – “Everyone said he was always so upbeat online.” It rings sooo true; so often people like that are always there for everyone else…but who, really, is in turn *there for them*?

I’ve recently gone thru this myself (it’s why I’m in major re-inventing mode) but it did slap me upside the head that it’s so easy to just plain *take for granted* when people are good to you.

You never stop to think to ask, Hey! Can I help you out today?

I always call looking out for someone…being a covert angel. Let them know you care, let them know you value them caring about you! What goes around, comes around…sometimes in spades.

Lots of good thoughts to you and the people who love you, Tiff – it really does rock when one’s family comes through and you do realize your life is simply beyond blessed.

And apply more coffee to your infection!! :) Heal well.

  • Jenny Dunham says:

    Tiffany,

Thanks for once again sharing your heart with us. I too believe in angels, both here on earth and in heaven.

It’s amazing how some of the relationships we form here online can actually be closer than ones we have with the people we see everyday.

Yes, there is a fine line between sharing just enough and sharing too much with our followers or subscribers. I think you have hit upon just the right balance. I feel like I know you even though we have never met or spoken in person.

    Hope you feel better soon!

    Jenny

  • Diane Aldecoa de la Cruz says:

Thank you! You are an angel yourself. I’ve learned a lot from you. Here’s wishing you the best blessings God can give. Get well soon. :)

    Angels are everywhere…:)
    Feel better soon…

  • Britt Malka says:

    Hi Tiff,

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that you’re ill again.

I’ve often felt like embracing my subscribers. They can be so awesome, so loveable, so helpful.

A long time ago, I decided to be very personal in my email (I started out with Danish lists), and it paid off – maybe in money, but more importantly in relationships.

A few years ago, I received two letters from subscribers the same day. One of them was un-subscribing and wrote: “I don’t care about your dog or cat or husband or kids. I joined your list to learn about (don’t remember if it was computer or making money online), not to hear about your personal life.

The other one write: I love to read your letters, because they are so personal. I love to hear about your dog, your cat, your husband and your kids.

Well, I decided that day that you cannot please everybody, so you have to please yourself, and I’m the personal type.

I like to write about what I care about. I like to write honest reviews. And I like to read content from equally honest and personal people, which is why I follow you, and read almost every mail you send out.

Way to go, girl, and now get well :)

    • Tiffany says:

I know Britt school time is a monster for me – I pick up every germ that’s out there. LOL!

I have gotten those “I don’t care about your…” unsubs too and I always think what a bitter, cold person that person must be to close the door on relationships, period.

    • You are right to be personal if that is the way you are. I do the same thing. When I write in my blog or on Squidoo, I tend to add me to the mix. I can’t help it. That is just the way I am. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t write that way. There is someone out there that will learn from what you write or feel better because of it.

  • Vlad says:

    Tiff,

One of my favourite things to do when I’m not feeling on top of the world, whether it’s physical or I feel life is working against me, is to start going in my head over all the people that love me.

It’s quite amazing when you do that, how much positive energy you experience and how much it helps to make EVERYTHING feel better.

I am as guilty as anyone in all too often forgetting that the family and friends are people that are there for us more than we realise. They ARE the angels and I try and make it a point to always remember that.

  • Rita says:

I wept reading your post today. I sit on the sidelines, taking notes and applying all I can for the most part. I have bought your PLR to “learn” what good plr is meant to be. I have read all you have to say for a few years now!

But today, I wept. Lost my 32 yr. old daughter in July. Her death threw so many of us into chaos I have been spinning just to keep up. Her poor husband now has a 4 yr. & 15 yr. old to raise. My baby is gone, and I have to help raise HER babies.

Embrace your angels (religious or not)and hang on to all daily memory making moments. In the long run, they are what will sustain you. Time and unforeseen circumstance can befall us all.

I love what you do, and who you are.

    • Tiffany says:

I’m so sorry you lost your daughter Rita :( ((hugs))

    • Gaynor says:

      Hi Rita,

So very sorry to hear you lost your lovely daughter.

I too have some tears at the moment as I can empathise with you having lost my eldest son 10 years ago this month. It still hurts terribly.

I was nursing and saw many people worse off than me and this helps in some ways.

You will cope and keeping busy is a blessing! I, like Tiff, also believe in angels.

Enjoy your lovely grandchildren they are so lucky to have you too.

      Lots of hugs.

      Gaynor

      • Tiffany says:

Gaynor ((hugs)) for your loss dear.

      • Rita says:

Just a short note to thank all for their comments and well wishes. Gaynor, Rach72, Jo Ann, Jacinta, Denise & Mekhola, you are all in my prayers.

Tiff, I am ever so grateful that your online family is so kind, a true sign of the type person you are. Your actions on Tuesday, with the Huge sale for the benefit of all just ramps you up another notch! (didn’t know there was another notch!)

Again thank you all for your comforting words.

      • I feel for your loss, too, Gaynor. Yes, long after a loved ones death, we feel. I still tend to want to cry when I think about my mom who passed away 10 years ago. But, I know she is in a better place.

        Marilyn

    • Rita, I am so sorry for your loss. We are supposed to go before our children. It is devastating when they go first. May the angels look over you and yours.

      Marilyn

  • Alison says:

:) . Aw, kiddo. Life’s funny, aint it?

If I told you my angel story you’d be amazed. I haven’t had a permanent residence for nine months. I’ve been living in a hotel. When I got here someone asked me if I was in a Witness Protection Program. I’m still alive, and I’m getting apartment this week because…there are angels all around us. I hadn’t quite used that language before until I read your post.

I’m glad to know how blessed you are :)

  • Joan Adams says:

Beautifully written – and all those are what I call “every day” angels – and they are so wonderful indeed!!
Hugs for your whole family from this grandma!

  • Cheryl says:

What a blessing, thanks Tiff. Timely for me, too, to remember my own angel “team”. I need to give ‘em all a squeeze.

    Praying that you’ll heal soon!

  • Oh Tiff,
I do know how you feel.

You are blessed with a loving family and thanks for sharing so we all remember all the love we have in our lives.

    Hope you are better soon.

  • Pat Busch says:

    Tiff,
I hope you are starting to feel better with all of that love around you. What a special post today :) although it did make me cry.

My parents(both in heaven)are my angels. I ask them for help all the time. This morning I had a dream and my Dad gave me some guidance. He rarely makes an appearance in a dream. I woke up so happy today.

God Bless you and your family.
    Pat

  • Judy says:

Oh, Tiff, you made *me* tear up with your sweet message. I don’t comment much but I always read every word you post and watch every video, just because you ARE authentic. I appreciate it greatly!

Angels are real, I agree, and you apparently have a few living with you. You’re a lucky (and deserving) girl! Just lay low and let them care for you and help you get back on top of things. The rest of us will have to settle for sending love vibes from afar. :)

    Get well soon, Tiff!

  • Tony and Claudia says:

    Tiff,

    This is POWERFUL!

You are very blessed to have a wonderful family and love ones who truly care for you! Don’t ever forget that and never take them for granted.

We, as humans, sometimes forget to look at the little things in life but when we finally open our eyes, the picture we see is simply MARVELOUS!

    In addition…

We, as affiliate marketers, are also extremely fortunate to possess the knowledge and skills to make an unlimited amount of wealth! We actually control our own destiny by our work attitude and passion to succeed! This is truly exciting and fun!

Now compare ourselves to the 14.5 million people that are unemployed and the other millions that have been forced to work part-time for pennies. Imagine how restless they must sleep at night with all of that worry and stress on their shoulders. Not Good!

However, we can be their angels! Just by reaching out to someone and spending a little time to teach them your affiliate marketing skills, you can make a HUGE difference!

    And believe this or not…..

When you help someone, your business will grow exponentially! It’s a win-win situation!

So get out there and be an angel folks!

    • Tiffany says:

I sure don’t take them for granted. And I always let Scarlett hear me saying my nightly prayer thanking God for her and her siblings, my husband and my parents, etc. Agree about being angels to others.

  • This is a great reminder to everyone who is striving to make a fortune in cash. The treasures may be great but at the end of the day it is the stuff that you can’t put a price on that matters. So sweet of your daughter to give mummy a backrub.

But what did Honey do for you? LOl.
Take care and feel better soon.

    Tiptopcat:)

    • Tiffany says:

Oh it’s funny – Honey becomes so calm. She gets a worried look. She doesn’t run and jump on me but sits right beside me and looks up like she needs massive botox with all her worry wrinkles. lol

  • Marcia says:

    Hi Tiff –

Thank you for the wonderful post.

My mother told me that when she was at the emergency room the night my dad passed away a kind and gentle lady came and prayed with her. No one else remembered seeing her and no one knew who she was.

I just got an email this afternoon from a friend letting me know that a friend of hers whom I had met passed away a couple of days ago. She had lived several years longer than the doctors thought she would with her heart problems. My friend said her friend had told her when she had her heart surgery some years ago that a nice lady came in her room and prayed with her. No one else saw her.

I think we must accept (whatever your religious beliefs) that angels can take many forms and we should be grateful for wherever and whenever they appear in our lives.

You are so fortunate to have your angels close by and I know you are grateful. I’m sure you’re an angel to them too :)

    Hope you feel better soon!

    • Tiffany says:

Aside from my own witnessing of an angel at age 8, and the fact that I feel its presence now, my stepdad, who was agnostic, was dying of cancer. He told my mom in a last minute burst of clarity that there were people wanting him to walk up a white staircase. He said there was beautiful music playing. He never said angels or anything but it made my mom get chills.

  • I was just reading a book about a man who just died in a car crash the other day, but although with recent unfortunate times before the crash, was one of our richest men. It mentioned how a friend said that he must have been looked after by an angel two times when he was about ten. He had been incorrectly thrashed by his father after two policemen brought him back home. Although he was no angel (?) at the time, he was going to end it all due the unfairness of it all. Once, a voice said to wait until after your Orange Juice, and the other time he went back to try, the voice said to wait till after scouts-which he also really loved.
I think with this book I read that he seems to unfairly looked at by the Serious Fraud Office, and at 80 plus years old and after tremendous life long philanthropy, why had they got this man over the hot coals? Maybe he will be a new Angel??

  • Jenni Johnson says:

We love you Tiffany…get well soon.

  • Rach72 says:

Of course angels exist – in fact I have a theory that the quality of our angels reflect the people that we truly are. Nothing that I have read here has dis-proved that theory

Rita – I just want to hug you and help the hurt,

Allison – wow, what an inspiration (even without knowing the full story)

Tiff – bless you good lady – you have some wonderful angels and rightly so too! …. wait, he warmed the back of the bath up? Very cool!

(Now stop yabbering, rest up and get better!)

    :)

  • Sheryl says:

    What a great post Tiff!

When I was 7 I was rushed to hospital for a blood transfusion. My Aunty had to rush to the city to collect the blood (not like hospitals these days that have blood on hand). She told me later that they whole way to the city and back to the hospital there was this bright star that followed them. A star like she’d never seen before and she knew it was my guardian angel guiding them to get that blood for me.

That’s one story I’ll never forget and I know I’ve always had that guardian angel looking after me.

Love reading your blog Tiff – so uplifting. Hope you feel better soon!

    Sheryl

PS. Come over here and teach my kids to do the grocery shopping and the dishes :)

  • Patti says:

    We love you too Tiffany!
    Get better soon.

  • Sarah says:

    Dear Tiff
how rotten for you to be ill, my sympathies.

I think my angels are quite sneaky, they creep up and help me and I find suddenly there is someone caring for me – I can be very stubborn and overly independent and HATE asking for help.

Having been very poorly for six months and finding myself simply unable to do certain things, my sons, my family and friends from work suddenly appeared and helped, not a word..just turned up.

They helped me move house when I could barely move myself..and they just organized and sorted stuff..and when they weren’t there I just cried at their kindness.

Truly angels, and now it seems to me that I have to give back whenever and wherever I can.

Keep being you Tiff, you are inspirational

    Sarah

    • Tiffany says:

Aww Sarah how wonderful! Yes, the angels in our lives know exactly when they need to go above our heads and do what needs to be done when we’re stubborn :)

  • Jo Ann says:

Funny how a simple post like this brings up all sorts of memories and emotions from our own lives.

As I read this, I was feeling bad for you Tiffany, then you mentioned Trey’s suicide, which I hadn’t heard about.

That brought back such a sadness for me because my first husband committed suicide when our son was only 10 years old.

I had always thought that it didn’t matter how a person dies (dying is dying, right?) until I lost someone to suicide.

The only thing I can think of that would be worse than that is losing a child, and then I read Rita’s story. Good Lord.

I am a christian, and it’s times like this that I am so glad I am.

Hope you start feeling better soon Tiffany, and God bless you Rita.

  • hugh says:

warm hugs and kisses tiff..hope ur better soon :)

  • Alice Coaxum says:

Hope you start to feel better Tiffany. Sounds like you have a wonderful family who really stepped up when you needed them :)

  • Phillipa Wirangi says:

So beautiful Tiff. Thank you for sharing and I pray you get better.

  • Janice says:

Sniff, Sniff. There you go again Tiff. Here’s one of them big ol’ bear e-hugs! You’re the best. Thanks for sharing and I hope you feel better soon. :)

  • Jacinta says:

    Hey Tiff,

Sorry to hear you are unwell. What a great story! I, like you, believe in Angels yet do not like organised (not a spelling error, I am Aussie) religion. I am blessed with Angels anytime I am in need, even when I do not know I am in trouble yet. Looking back on my life so far, I can name many angels that have come to me in human form, many whom stay in my life permanently, others who drift in and out yet are out there. I love the way you write Tiff, keep up the good work. Had a few tears over Rita’s post.

  • carol o. says:

Hope you feel better soon, Tiffany.

I agree, angels are all around us both in physical and spiritual form. Having lost my father, both my in-laws and two grandbabies in recent years, I truly believe they are with me every day. I know my hubby and kids are angels as well, always willing to help some else.

Thank you for the wonderful reminder of how blessed we all are.

    • Tiffany says:

Wow Carol you must be a very strong woman to endure all that! ((hugs))

    • I know how you feel, Carol. I feel my mom around me all the time. She won’t let me cry for her. When I go to cry, she makes me sneeze instead. I know that sounds funny but it happens every time.

I agree with Tiffany that you are a very strong woman to endure so much death in your family.

      Marilyn

  • Jeannie says:

Tiffany, you’ve been an angel to me! You’ve helped me out more than you can imagine and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate that.

I truly hope you feel better soon. I’m sending healthy thoughts your way!

    Jeannie

  • Duy Nguyen says:

Nice to read this message from you Tiff, and hope you’re fine now :) I agree with you, this is not a “God vs Science” matter, it’s just the way we see life. And people who give us helping hands when we need without any demand of paying back are definitely angels in human form! And to me, you’re an angel at some levels thanks to your marketing insights and experiences you shared with us! God bless you and other people as well.

    Duy.

  • Andre Arnett says:

It is always an inspiration to read your words. you have a way of making your words come alive for people. Hope you are feeling better. Sure seems like you have a few people there to take care of you. Nice to know you can be surrounded by loving people, some you may know and some you don’t. Get better soon, a lot of people are listening to you.

  • Clefty says:

Hope you feel better soon Tiff! Sounds like your family is helping out tons… :)

  • Yes, there are angels all around us. Most people call the ones that help them test out their patterns bead fairies. I call mine bead angels because I feel they are angels sent to help me with my work. They say that everyone has a reason and a season to be with you. That is why I feel that the angels are all around us to help us get through life.

  • Karen Cook says:

A wonderful read. Made me feel good and blessed. Thank you for being YOU!

    Karen

  • Denise says:

Tiff, you are one of my angels!

Rita – so sorry for your loss! I can’t imagine your pain, but the thought of losing one of my children is unbearable.

  • Wayne Ong says:

    Hi Tiff,

I’m a big fan of yours, read every posts you write, but seldom comment as I prefer to just lurk around :p

Had to say something today though – GET WELL SOON!

  • jonel says:

    Hi Tiffany,

Thanks for the great post, and, yes, I do believe there are angels among us.

I was watching T.V. the other night (rare treat!), and tuned into a show about aspiring singers called ‘X Factor’, similar to what you know as “American Idol”.

I want to share the story of an extra-ordinary and courageous young man, Emmanuel Kelly, and his “mother”, his ‘angel’, Moira. I’m not usually emotional, but I haven’t stopped crying since the show!

Emmanuel and his brother were found stuffed in a shoebox by nuns in war-torn Iraq. While they were living in an orphanage, Moira appeared on the scene, and their story develops from there…the video describes it much better than I can.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W86jlvrG54o

I think it drives home that sometimes we worry and get upset about stuff that’s really of little importance, when compared to what others have suffered. It also brings home the life-changing effect angels, like Moira, can have in the world.

  • Regina says:

Cyber {{{hugs}}} to you Tiffany. Hoping you’re feeling so much better and thumbs UP to your wonderful family for being so mindful of YOU :)

  • Pati says:

Love our Angels! All night, all day, Angels watchin over me my Lord!

Hope you are feeling better very soon!

  • Kelli says:

This is why we LUV you Tiffany! Totally sick and still made time to write an appreciation post.

I count my blessings every second for all my angels that surround me too. Couldn’t have made it this far without them.

  • Mekhola says:

    Hi Tiffany,

Glad to know you’re feeling a bit better. Am sending you love and healing thoughts to help you on.

Yes, there’s nothing as comforting as being surrounded by angels and cocooned in love. What a wonderful family you have! Most of mine are gone (parents, in-laws, husband) but my two darling daughters are there for me. Love and healing to Rita and Jo Ann too – may many angels come your way.

But whoever’s passed on is still there, loving and caring, it’s jus the physical body that goes. There are so many dimensions to our being.

Heal soon – miss having you (honey) badgering one and all left and right! :-)

(Sorry about any spelling mistakes – the t key on my laptop conked out a few days ago, so have to use the OSK – it’s like writing with a limp!)

    Love, Mekhola

  • araxy says:

Wow it’s very touching how your family came to your rescue and made you comfortable ! Wish you a speedy recovery and do take care of yourself :) Definitely angels were there to reach out to you and support you like you do to others. You’re one of the most genuine persons i have met..you call a spade a spade. Take care and get well soon .

    • Tiffany says:

It was touching to me. I don’t think they knew that was why my tears were flowing (it started w/a headache and changed to gratefulness). I thanked them profusely today. Scarlett just now said to me, “I like being thanked. It makes me feel like a special person.” and I told her she’s the most special person in the world.

  • Fran says:

Just had to let you know I love you and care very much about you. You have helped me in so many ways. Thank God for the angels we all have in our lives :)

    Feel better soon!

  • Barney says:

    Hi Tiff
Hope your feeling better. I didn’t really believe in angels until I had my heart surgery. I had just come home feeling terrible, hardly able to move. When my wife made me get up and look out the window. My drive was full of about 20 kids from the youth group shoveling snow. No one had asked them they just did it.

Angels, oh yeah! they are everywhere.

    Get Well
    Barney

    • Tiffany says:

I got a good night’s sleep so while I still feel awful at least I have more strength to fight today. lol What a wonderful tribute to you that those kids would help like that!

  • Sam says:

    Hi Tiffany:
Fantastic Post today. I sincerely hope and pray that you feel better soon. Take care

“Angels all around us” what an empowering phrase. It makes us realize there are good people out there to support us. We just need to trust with open heart.

  • LindaP says:

    Tiff,

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. If you like Dr. Pepper, one of my favorite remedies for flu and pneumonia is to heat up Dr. Pepper with a lemon sliced into it. The vitamin C and hot drink helps, and I personally think it helps you get well sooner. Seems to be our experience at my house.

You have a very special family.

    Get well soon!

  • Holly says:

Tiff, thank you for sharing part of your life with us. I am very happy that you have family around to take such good care of you, and I am sorry that you are sick. I hope you feel better soon.

Last night I was online working. I thought I read it wrong that Trey had passed. When I learned the details, I felt like someone hit me in the stomach. He must have been hurting so badly, not just emotionally, but physically too.

I kept reading the eulogies as they came online, and have been crying off and on all day. Here is one I would like to share with everyone because if it helps one person not be a copycat then I will sleep better tonight.

Here it is (not mine): http://www.intuitivebridge.com/blog/2011/09/the-difference-between-me-and-trey-pennington/

Love to anyone who is suffering.

    • Tiffany says:

I know and I didn’t know he had tried before too :( So sad. I had also seen that blog post and it was beautiful! We are people – we have to stop being so businessey and realize we’re able to form true relationships online.

  • Tiff, I am sitting here covered with goosebumps. I am an older person and have lost many relatives and friends. I am sure they are helping us out. I firmly believe in angels and have been saved by them several times. I pray every day for all the people on the internet forums. I belong to genealogy lists with a lot of subscribers. I do genealogy for free for anyone who asks. I do not know enough about internet marketing to teach anyone. Working on that. I think those trying to do this internet marketing feel depressed and lonely. That is why it is so important for you to keep up the good work. Get well. xoxo

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Bet! You could make a business out of that :) We recently did our genealogy and it was fascinating! It is so important for us to form real relationships with our online friends, not just seller-buyer relationships :) For many of us, who may be hermits in real life, this is the crux of our human interaction and maybe why I value it so much and get Honey Badger when it’s abused.

      • Hi Tiff, hope you are better. I am not a professional genealogist and they get upset if we charge for doing research. All of us help each other. I bet you know more than I do if you have finished your genealogy. I am really a microbiologist, but i am having a hard time learning this internet marketing. Just foolishly signed up for more dumb stuff. There are thousands of PLR writers out there. How to compete? Work hard. xo

  • Kathy says:

Wow Tiff, I somehow missed yesterday’s email. Going back to look for it now.

Please, please get well soon. Don’t forget, you’re our angel.

  • Paul Duxbury says:

    Get well soon Tiff!

We draw to us those we deserve my friend and those who see us for who and what we are.

May you always be carried on the wings of Angels

  • Darren says:

    Hi Tiffany,

Hope you get well real soon! And thanks for answering my emails even though you are so sick! I would have waited until you were better to send them had I known! Your a trooper :-)

    Darren

  • sharon says:

Thanks for sharing with us Tiffany. I understand completely what you mean about your son being an angel, I feel that way about my toddler…she showed me that God sees me as something special regardless.

I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.

    Sharon

  • Marian says:

You have really nice people around Tiff! :)

I wish you a speed recovery! I need more of your stuff ;)

  • Ruth says:

So glad you have such a wonderful family to take care of you. I hope you get better soon though!

I also consider my online friends angels in some way, too, though I may not use that word. Thanks for the lovely post, it certainly made me smile and appreciate all I have. I was even thinking a similar thing last night before I went to sleep.

  • Pete Moring. says:

Hi Tiff. Apart from hoping you’re feeling a lot better now, I too believe in Angels and have had many real-life experiences to back that belief up (No not organised religion)

I’ve put those thoughts and experiences in many places over the net, but perhaps the most easy to experience what an ‘Angel’ really is might be here – http://fred67.com/thechord
I’m not looking for a plug, so you can skip over this comment if you like, but just out of interest, take a quick look and turn your speakers up ;-)

  • ted says:

    Bless you!

  • Mark Upshaw says:

You illustrate your point perfectly about simply being oneself. That is why it rings true when we read your words and we too feel appreciative (touched by an angel) with you.

    • Tiffany says:

Thank you Mark :) And what’s so precious to me is so many of you accept me for my bad personality points too. LOL That means a lot that I don’t have to be some phony positive 100% of the time person.

  • Rachel says:

Angels are all around us, Tiff, and sometimes we only realize it in moments of hardship. It’s heartwarming to hear that your guardian angels (big and small) were there for you. It’s obvious that you are also the centre of THEIR universe just as they are of yours! :)

    Hope you’re feeling better soon!

  • Tiff, my dear lady,

You hit the nail right on the head. The angels are all around us. Some of them we can recognize as such and others we don’t realize, but they are there.

I thank them every day when I wake up and before going to sleep. They are very real, both physical and spiritual. It certainly doesn’t matter what your religious beliefs are. They are there for you. You just have to ask for their help. They can’t intervene in your life until you ask them to.

I connect with the angels. When my darling daddy passed on, I had a beautiful angel experience. Although it was a sad moment in my life, it was the most beautiful experience I have ever known.

On another level or dimension, as you said, there are angels all around us, and we owe them thanks.

On your illness, have you tried an onion next to you, on your bedside table at night? You cut the ends off and cut the onion in half. In the morning, throw it away. Don’t leave it lying around because it will be full of germs!

I will continue to send you healing energy. Keep thanking the angels for their support and healing. You will soon be feeling much better.

    Angel cuddles,

    Sarah

    • Tiffany says:

Haven’t tried the onion – hubby might kill me LOL (he hates the smell). But I sure love eating them!

      • Oh dear! For goodness sake don’t eat the onion if you do put one by your bed. The onion really does take in a lot of germs.

Ha Ha! Wouldn’t want to frighten off your hubby though! (He probably wouldn’t notice, if you don’t tell him what you have done.)

  • Jonathon says:

Friends are the angels who lift us up when our wings have forgotten how to fly.

  • Gaynor says:

I too believe in angels Tiff whatever they may be. I have experienced things on the ward when I was nursing which tell me there is something other than here.

I don’t have an organised religion either but believe in a God or higher being. Love everyone no matter what there beliefs is my way to live.

Your family are tremendous you are so lucky.

Take good care and hope you feel better soon.

  • Debi J says:

    Tiff,

I feel like I’m always playing catch up to your days (I usually work nights and I’m already 2 hours earlier than you). Whenever I get your emails, I make sure to click on all the links inside. That way I have all your stuff opened in separate tabs before your email gets pushed down the list (I want to be sure I don’t miss anything!).

Then, as the day goes, I click thru my tabs & if I haven’t read your post, I leave it open until I have…many times that means I’m reading it/them before I call it a day.

As many other days have gone, I found myself reading your stuff at 2am my time and hadn’t realized you were sick again. It’s so cool to hear what your family did for you (I told mine I’m going to TX to see what it’s like to have Tiff’s family!)….they said they could help me pack…does that count as being angels? LOL

Anyway, feel better soon! I’ll send prayers out to my angels to see what they can do too…for you AND your online family I’ve been learning about today. It’s amazing to see all these folks with so many issues who refuse to give up on their dreams. Hmmmmm….Tiffany’s attracting stubborn people…shocker! :)

Take care Tiff so we can all enjoy your smiles, not to mention your Honey Badger, in full force this week!

    Debi J

  • Hi Tiff

With such beautiful family and friends you have a wonderful support group around you ready to help when the need occurs and am sure this if not medicine will get you back on your feet in no time So I wish you well

Second I absolutely believe in Angels I know I have TWO Guardian Angels looking after me always and will agree that each of us has an Angel looking out for them

And lastly ‘You reap what you sow’or is it the other way round, whichever it is, because of who you are and your actions that you get all the love back. So I for one would like to thank you for all you have done and are doing for my future betterment by just being you

So my grateful thanks and all my best wishes, love and prayers to YOU.

    Charles

  • Patricia says:

I just deleted yet another email offering me a turnkey website for which I need no experience, that will make me look professional without my having to do anything, in niches I don’t need to be interested in, and I thought what a cold cold world out there. Then I opened your mail and I thought thank heavens! The world is what we make of it, thank you for the way you make it, Tiff. Get better soon.

  • jan says:

Wow Tiff powerful post and so sorry to hear how sick you have been. It’s times like this when your family rally around you that you bring that appreciation for them into your consciousness and you know how much they appreciate you and care for you as well! And Honey did her bit as well looking out for you.

Angels definitely exist, I was in a New Age shop one day and went to leave and I felt this energy stopping me, I knew that I could walk through it but it was strong. I knew there was something I needed to buy in the shop and ended up buying my first book about angels. They are certainly with us and some of them are in human form for sure. I rarely talk about them though as most people think you are nuts, but I openly display my angel books on my shelves.

The video that Jonel posted was awesome, puts your own life in perspective.

Get well soon, love and hugs xxoo

    • Tiffany says:

Thanks Jan :) So you’ve felt the feeling? It’s odd, as if there’s someone very powerful in the room with you. You physically feel it. But it’s not scary – in fact it’s like a heavy peace settles around you. Like you’re being enveloped in protection. Judging by the comments here maybe more people SHOULD talk about angels.

  • Tiff heres that cyber get well hug for ya….being sick sucks. I hope ya feel better. Here in Indianapolis the weather has being going up and down like a yo-yo. Im so used to San Diego weather and weather from the Middle East (when I was floating in the middle of the ocean)…Im in for a rude awakening this fall need to go sweater/coat shopping lol.

    • Tiffany says:

Yeah Desmond we’re finally 62 this morning. Thought I’d fall asleep driving it was so cozy :) Thanks for the big cyber hug – made me warm and fuzzy all over!

  • jan says:

    Hi Tiff
It was very powerful, as if there was a wall of energy stopping me leaving the shop, it definitely wasn’t scary as I knew I could push through it but I knew there was something I needed to find out that day! I also have angel cards and they are always very accurate – they are a great guide.

    Take care :)

  • Adrian says:

Tiffany Dow – A true angel for all us wannabe IMer’s. Somebody who is honest, helps, admits they don’t know it all and shares the ups and downs and pros and cons.

I’m glad you have people around you who care and I wish you a speedy recovery.

  • Good people get good things – period :)
Your loyal family and friends will no doubt be enjoying getting the chance to look after you and paying you back for everything you have done for them.
    Hope you feel better soon.
    Julie :)

  • Sad I missed this yesterday, I’m switching hosts and having a bit of a headache with that – including the email. Eep. But maybe it was planned just this way on purpose – your post helps to lift me up even more this morning. I had a rough start to my morning, then found some awesome, positive sites through Facebook that were helping and now, the cherry on top – this post! Trey’s passing truly, deeply affected me and I spent the better part of yesterday reading all of the online eulogies and just absorbing it all and thinking and wondering…. I’ve been there, where he was, so many, many times. My eldest son saved me from being to that depth of despair ever again. And then my other son and my daughter, too. I’ve been blessed to not even entertain the idea of suicide since becoming a mom. I suppose it could happen again, in my empty nest life, but, we’ll just have to wait and see when we get there. Right now I’m glad to know that my hole in the ground is one floor higher. Though I do hate going down that hole. Ok, I’m babbling, ‘blogging’ in your comments. I’m sorry you’ve been sick and so glad to hear the awesome story of your family taking care of you!!!

  • Sandor says:

    Hi Tiff,

    Outstanding post, that touches people.

You’ve a wonderful Mom and Family. You know, manifests itself in trouble, whom and to what extent you can rely on.

    Tiff, please, get well quickly.:)

    With friendly hugh,

    Sandor

  • Dana Elliot says:

    Hey Tiff,

I hope you feel better soon. I enjoy reading your blog – it has inspired my to push through the tough times. I love that you are so human. While I do not always agree with your point of view, it’s real and I respect that. It is a refreshing change from the nonsense that I often see online.

While it’s great to have friends online, I’m glad that you also have a family that loves you and takes care of you in times of need. We could all benefit from being just a little more ‘human’.

Your blog is one of the few that I make a point of reading. Thanks for keeping it real!

  • Karen says:

It’s great to have a family that value you and feel for you when you are below par.

I have five such ‘angels’ in my life in the form of my wonderful sons. They are all grown up now and have left home to live in various parts of the UK, but they are always calling to check on me and will drop anything if they think that I need them.

Like you, I am blessed with my very own ‘angels’ – they would howl with laughter if they saw this descripion of them (they are all over 6ft 3ins tall and very ‘manly’).

Glad to hear that you are on the right side of your illness now.

    Onwards and upwards :)

    Karen

  • Shazi says:

    What a beautiful post Tiff!

So sorry that you were sick….I hope you’re feeling better today.

There’s nothing I can say that already hasn’t been said in all the great comments here but I wanna add one thing –

This online community is definitely one-of-a-kind! It is amazing and heart-warming to know there are soooo many nice people out there…all trying to make it in the IM world without the (requisite?!) selfishness and sales-focused narrow-minded intentions floating around nearly everywhere.

I thought people at WF were cool…..but your subs are pretty cool too. :)

So, so glad to have found you!

And yeah, I agree with another commenter – *YOU* are an angel, Tiff.

Your posts and mails have made many a rough morning or a tough day loads better!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Shazi

  • Victoria says:

    Hi Tiffany!
Great blog on my favourite topic, angels, which I believe we are!
Hope you feel better! Beepollen, honey and Port (not brandy!) mixed a small glass is great energy boost and helps the next morning!
    Best to you!

  • Al says:

Thank you for everything Tiffany. I just saw your Warrior Angels Post. You are a godsend. I have been struggling in all aspects of my life. I wanted to just throw up my hands and quit. I was saved by someone that recommended I write for one of those article broker services. I didnt even know writing articles came so easy to me. I just got paid yesterday, kept the lights on, and had 9 dollars to invest in my online business. I found your post in WF and started to cry, because you will never know how much your kind gesture means to me. I can now take action. Hope lives. I found an angel.

    Thank You

  • Aigul Erali says:

    Dear Tiffany,

It’s the most personal blog post I’ve ever read…Do you believe in miracles??

Yes or no, a miracle is coming… in some days.
That miracle can change your life – I can
guarantee that because it has been tested in the past.

    What I know for sure is that prayer has a POWER;
if/when MANY people start praying all together and all have the same THOUGHT in their mind and in their prayers, then (science says even) miracles can happen.
We are bodies-machines with flesh, water and blood, and a brain that accepts and also transmits electric and magnetic waves. Science says so.

Personally I do believe in miracles…
So sorry that you were sick….I hope you’re feeling better today.

    With Love,

    Aigul
