Are You Still Staring at That Closed Door?

Doors that open to new opportunities for success and happiness often slam shut if you’re hesitant about walking through the door to see what it holds for you. If you’ve ever had a door slam in your face, you know that it stuns and paralyzes you for a moment until you realize what’s happened. When doors to opportunities slam shut, you might react the same way.

You may stare at the door for such a long time that you fail to see other doors open and close around you. You’re staring at the missed door of opportunity and all the time you’re missing new opportunities. Internet Marketers, especially, are guilty of descending into a rut and not recognizing how the prospect of venturing into the unknown can lead you to the true path to happiness and success.

Sometimes you may be afraid that you’ll fail in a new attempt at success. Your mind can remained closed for many reasons, but to find an opportunity that exactly fits your personality and expertise, you need to stay open to the infinite possibilities that linger – just beyond the door!

Skepticism may cause you to hesitate at the door, and if you wait too long, the door gets stuck. It becomes even more difficult to convince yourself that the opportunity is viable. Out of fear, you close your mind to the chance that you’ll find a niche that suits you and could be the catalyst to success.

That doesn’t mean that you should jump at everything that’s presented. But remaining open-minded about new ideas and giving them a chance to materialize so you can explore them won’t cost you a penny. You may find that you already have the key to success within your own business – but the new concept might just trigger an idea about how to expand and make the business even more successful.

It’s important that you know how to assess each opportunity that appears behind the door. You’ll find that opportunities reveal themselves in many ways. If you network with others and take part in blogs that interest you, the idea may appear through others – or you may have an “Aha moment” from reading newspapers, books, or from finding an inspiring Internet site.

Each experience you have offers a way to benefit. You only need to remain open-minded and ask yourself what you can get out of it. Always know what your goals in life are – and keep reassessing those opportunities you get from daring to open the doors. You’ll be rewarded with happiness and excitement about your new prospects.

Always ask yourself if an untested opportunity fits in with the vision you have for yourself and the future of your business. Be honest and most of all – trust yourself.

If you want to learn how to move through open doors and take the risks you need to help you succeed, try reading Ben Carson’s Take the Risk book. In it, he talks about 4 questions you have to ask yourself:

What’s the best thing that can happen if I do this? What’s the worst thing that can happen if I do this? What’s the best thing that can happen if I don’t do it? What’s the worst thing that can happen if I don’t do it?

It’s inspiring.
