Everyone’s always looking for freebies.  It doesn’t matter if the person is wealthy beyond your wildest imagination – if there’s something free to be gained, human nature says we’ll act on it.

On the Internet, consumers want immediate gratification.  They might be surfing along at 2 o’clock in the morning, find something, and want the information right then and there.  They don’t want to wait for delivery – if that was the case, they could hold off until the next day and drive on up to Barnes and Noble.

Free eBooks help consumers get a feel for what your online voice and message is.  You can create a short free eBook of about 5 pages in length and set it loose for a viral appeal, allowing people to give it away to their friends.

Each short free eBook that you release on the ‘net provides ample selling opportunities.  An eBook allows you to insert hyperlinks into it.  You can have an eBook on the broad subject of Internet Marketing, for instance, and throughout the free eBook link to software, services, membership sites, and more detailed eBooks that are owned by you or of which you’re an affiliate.

For example, in your free eBook, you can tell the readers what a blog is – and why it’s valuable.  Then link to another eBook that teaches them where and how to blog, giving hem step-by-step details that you don’t cover in your viral freebie.

The best way to make money with an eBook is to allow others to give away your product on their own site – unchanged, of course.  Your links stay intact, and the marketer selling a product bundles it in his bonus items and you increase your exposure.

It doesn’t matter if they get credit for giving away the freebie – all you care about is that your links are in there, spreading like wildfire.  As your viral eBooks take root, build your online empire with eBooks you write and sell.  Launch an affiliate campaign so that others come onboard to help sell your new information product, too.

I’m no expert video creator by any means. But there are a few things I know to help set my video apart from the really bad amateur creations I see from time to time.

I had to laugh when Willie Crawford mentioned he was on a conference call and they all heard someone fush the toilet. Willie’s using the recording for a product creation, most likely, and now he’ll either have to edit that out and chop some of the conversation or keep it in. Same can happen with video production.
