Confidence

Pinterest

Whether you realize it or not, confidence is one of the most important qualities you can possess. Unfortunately, it’s something most of us are lacking in some form.

Confidence gives us the freedom to pursue our true dreams when it comes to careers. Confident people put themselves out there – they go for fame, fortune or a combination of the two.

Meek and mild personalities who are loaded with self doubt are too timid and shy to make a name for themselves. After all – who would listen to them?

Confidence enables us to pursue romantic interests with ease. A confident man or woman walking into an establishment has no trouble making eye contact and smiling before initiating a conversation with someone they like.

But even a handsome man or beautiful woman could miss out on the love of their life due to a deficiency in confidence. And confidence doesn’t spare beautiful people – many of them are riddled with personal criticism on the inside.

Confidence helps us make the right decisions when it comes to raising our children. A confident Mom or dad sets the rules and boundaries and is firm and vocal about them – including how others interact with their child.

There are many parents who lack confidence and always seem to defer to others to raise their kids. They let their peers, the teachers, law enforcement, and even the child himself be responsible for how that person is raised – all because they don’t want to have to answer to anyone about their decisions or take responsibility for any outcomes.

Confidence can assist you in living a better life. Confident people go places and do things. They aren’t afraid of being seen or of acting silly in public.

Someone whose meter is low on confidence will often walk with their head and eyes down, unable to look others in the eye. They attend functions only when they have to, and try their hardest to blend into the surrounding unnoticed.

I don’t want to see you suffering anxiety in any area of your life when it comes to feeling confident. Whether it’s your big butt or nasally voice or low GPA in high school or an ex who told you that you weren’t worth anything – none of it matters when it comes to confidence.

Don’t worry if you feel like yours has been depleted for too long. We’re going to find ways to build the supply back up so that you can take on anything and have peace of mind doing it.

    Hi Tiff

I have been lurking and reading for a few weeks now and yesterday took the plunge and downloaded the Kindle edition of your Build an Ebook Empire. Have read it and am considering how best I can apply it.
For now, I wanted to say how much I love the new blog and admire you for the personal direction in which you’re taking it. I love the fact that you haven’t filled all the headings at once with content, meaning we are all eagerly anticipating the next instalment!
Confidence is a huge issue for me at present. I feel as if the skilled, confident, achieving person that I was has shrivelled on the stick. I am looking inside myself and out for strategies to pull me forward and put me in a good place to start my online writing career. Your words are a good starting point for inspiration. Thanks and I am looking forward to reading the next instalment!

Someone put it on Kindle – I tried getting it shut down lol. They used my name which is against my PLR TOS. But glad you’re enjoying it!

As for content – I wanted to take my time and write about whichever category hits me at that moment. Hope some of it helps! :)

      • If you click the link about finding a lower price and link to a place where someone is giving it away for free Amazon would at least knock the price down to free, though they are usually good at removing content that is sold as PLR.

Confidence is a huge issue for me. Every time I get your newsletter, I see all that you are doing and I wish I could be in that same place of confidence and productivity. Someone told me “confidence comes with practice.” I can see how that is true. I need to push myself to practice more. In the meantime though, you are definitely an inspiration to me when it comes to IM and writing. :)
