You’ll probably get a half dozen replies on this, but here’s how I was shown to get a new web page to pop up in a new window:
a href=”http://www.unique-toilet-seats.com/”target=”_blank1″>Unique Toilet Seats. I left off the beginning < on purpose, because I didn't know if it would convert to the link on it's own within the comments. Just add the < to the beginning of the phrase. This works for me on my Squidoo lenses. Hope this helps.

Try putting the banner code in the ‘single post’php. You might have to fiddle with where exactly to put the code, but I think it should work.

I am surprised your not using your “links” or blogroll (which you can re-name “latest pages”) widget within wordpress, when you make a link you can add a description for hover over, and choose to open in a new window.
Put your banner html in the header PHP file at the bottom and it will stick on every page.
To be honest, I would never mess with trademark names, it’s just not an ethical thing to do cause your asking for trouble. Microsoft was nice, but others may not be! Try it with Apple and see what happens…
Try a sitemeter (sitemeter.com – it’s free) to track traffic, it tells you everything. The HG traffic stats I find to be a bit chaotic.

I don’t think it’s unethical at all to use a trademarked name in a domain if they’re not using it AND if I’m promoting their stuff – making sales for them. Now if I used their domain and drew traffic in to sell my own brand, etc then it’d be unethical but oh well.
I am not using AdSense on my BTF sites but that might be a good idea. But AdSense is puny income IMO. I hate too focus on it. It’s kind of just extra to me.
Way to go, Tiff! That trademark thing made me nervous when I first was thinking about creating a site, which is why I went for something generic.
I agree with you. I have just always been ify when it comes to if they would try to take it from me or something like that. When you have to hand them over a domain name, and you create a new one and throw your content on there, does it get ranked quickly like how it was before, or do you have to worry about duplicate content and all that jazz?
in this case I didn’t have any content up anyway. But if I did I’d just toss it up on another domain that didn’t infringe on trademark. I wouldn’t give them my content, just the domain.
About what to do for the next 30 days.
What would I do without my daily “Tiff” fix?
Personally – I don’t want it to stop… I eagerly wait until about midnight (my time) because you have usually gotten a new video uploaded. It’s a shock when you miss a day.
I think the “challenge” is a great idea… just not as keen on how much money you have made as much as the “what you are doing”.
For instance – when I watched you use WP robot – I ended up buying.
When I watched you using IPK – I ended up buying.
Now that you have spent so much time reviewing BTF – I will be buying that as well.
Your daily reviews of what you are doing are so much better than a long sales letter – it’s almost impossible for me to not buy something once I’ve seen you use it successfully.
5 minutes a day – telling us what you are doing with new and old sites is just my cup of tea.
It’s not about how much money “you” have made (I know why you are showing it – it’s just not THAT important to me personally)… it’s about what you are “doing” that’s working.
I’m fascinated and have applied so many of your little nuggets to my own marketing business – it’s just “crazy” good stuff.
You have opened up some new channels of thinking for me… I can’t wait to see what BTF helps me think of next. :0)
LOL Debra I’m sorry I miss some days. See I was going to ask that next – do y’all even WANT me to do another 30 days? I’ll ask that today because some people might find it totally boring. Others feel inspired seeing my mistakes, or my good days. Whatever y’all want I’m an open book. Thanks for letting me know how you apply the vlogs to your own stuff! Yeah I just show the money because let’s say I boasted about how good BTF was – well everyone would start emailing me “but how much is it making you?” So I just show it anyway. Plus, so many people lie about earnings. I don’t – I don’t feel a need to tell you I make $25,000 a month when I’m damn proud of myself for making $6,000! LOL

I don’t think it’s unethical to use trademarked names. Unethical is a very strong word. It depends on the company and the product. Some companies are actually quite happy for you to use their products in a domain name, they see it as increasing their ‘brand’. As Tiff said, if you get a cease and desist notice, simply give them the domain and move on. It highlights how important it is not to rely on just one source for income, like a single site or adsense or even Squidoo, imo.
Tiffany not sure if this is how you added your banner in the first place but if in the even that it is not here is how I do it.
Go to appearance->editor-> on the right hand side you will see something in a widget type setting called header (header.php) click that. It will open up the sytle sheet coding for the header section, which is universal through all your pages.
Scroll all the way down until you get to something to the effect of
and the it will be the coding for your image
Click right in front of because this is the end of the header code and input the code for your header. I looked up your source code so all you have to do is copy and paste. It you do it like this and click right before the it will look like this
and then scroll down and save files
Now you have saved the header to your php file in the coding and you should be all set. You can email me if this doesn’t work as I do the banners and the menu buttons for my sites myself. So go check your site and see if it worked.

*Also not sure if you are still looking for 30 day ideas, but here are some:
1. A demo site start to finish backlinks and keywords and all- you can then also put it in a report or ebook and make money off of it.
2. What free site works the best squidoo, hubpages, or the xoombia (i think that is what you called it).
3. Bum marketing method done on a site and maybe compare that to another method and see with works better.
4. you could also maybe start a new site (maybe dot info since you mentioned not wanting to buy a domain or one you already have but not indexed or done anything with) and you could maybe do a contest and challenge your viewers to really put what they have learned on your blog to the test in a 30 day challenge but for everyone (competition motivated the money tree) and feature videos and emails and make it like a race. You could even give away one of your ebooks or maybe give away an hour of your marketing advice or whatever as the prize. You could also have a separate opt in and capitalize on all the opt in’s you currently do not have.
(Actually any of this you could capitalize on with reports or ebooks or anything)

Ah, forgot to mention – as Anthony pointed out, the code to open a link in a new browser window is: TARGET = “_blank” after your link. I noticed he had a ’1′ in there (_blank1). The ’1′ does not need to be there. Not sure if it will break anything or not, but it only needs to be TARGET = “_blank”.

Tiffany you seem to really know what your doing and have a great head on your shoulders. Just a bit of advice. When you seem to do so good for yourself others will try to take you down. Watch your back at all times. Even when they give helpful advice it is not so helpful.
