Get Real With Me and I Won’t Hold It Against You
Hi everyone! I’m doing this 30 day branding challenge with my group of participants and one thing I asked them to do, if they have an audience, is get some gut wrenching feedback on themselves. I don’t care f you make up a name and URL or be you – I promise not to hold it against you.
The idea is for me to become a better leader in my niche. I want to improve and without truth, I can’t change. For example, I read someone’s comments this weekend that they hate my holier than thou attitude. Is that what you feel, too? I never saw myself as that. But maybe I project it.
So here are my questions for you:
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I appreciate you being as blunt as possible. It’s the language I speak best ![]()
Tiff

1. I like your energy and your honesty.
2. You come across as being very real. You have a life, children, home etc. I also like that you are not always trying to SELL me something but want to TELL me something.
3. I consider you a woman who put her mind and her writing to work for her.
4. The main thing you offer is a hand to others. You give me the impression that you want other people to succeed.
5. You are nowhere near as annoying as some other marketers.
Yes, you sell, but you also give valuable information.
6. I want you to affect my life for the better. It’s only recently that I decided to participate and see what would happen if I took your advice. lol
Thanks Joyce! I appreciate that
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
No complaints.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you as a marketer.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? Straight forward and honest.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR mini mart and product reviews.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Since there is only another marketer or two, you stand up pretty good. I deleted myself from about 30 lists recently. You survived my cut. I do read most of your emails Tiff.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definately for the better or else I would be deleting you. I like the fact that you are a women ( like me) but do business like a man. No whining or excuse making. You go girl!!!!
Ah I love that – a woman who does business like a man. I feel that way
Thanks BJ!
Two things come to mind. This may sound a little different but here goes
1. Company Gunny of a marine corp platoon. Tough, No BS but fair. A leader.
2. A boy scout, well maybe not a boy scout but someone who has the qualities of a scout and follows the Scout Oath and Law.
Boy Scout Oath or Promise
On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
Boy Scout Law
A Scout is:
Trustworthy,
Loyal,
Helpful,
Friendly,
Courteous,
Kind,
Obedient,
Cheerful,
Thrifty,
Brave,
Clean,
and Reverent.
Thanks Stan
Marine stuff – I like that! Thanks Stan
Hi Tiffany,
1) I like that you’re honest and stay true to yourself no matter what. The only negative twinge has been the crass language at times, but I appreciate you being yourself.
2) I trust you completely.
3) A marketer who is honest and cares about people.
4) Internet marketing tips and strategies, reviews and PLR products.
5) I think you stack up very high when compared to other marketers because you take the high road – it ain’t all about “ME” concept – love it!
6) You definitely affect my life for the better, thank you!
Ah yes a few people cringe at that Carol
My mom included! Thanks for the response
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
What I admire is your ever lasting energy in trying to get people out of their shells. I like the tenacity that you exhibit and that’s what attracts me to you. You are tough as nails but then you can help people when you need.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Trust needs to be earned and I believe you’ve earned my trust business wise. I trust that you do help people when they need it. I trust that you write ebooks to help people along with their careers in internet marketing and you certainly have the expertise and contacts to prove that. I hope that by the completion of this course that I will have enough courage to ask for help and guidance through my niche which is article/ghost writing.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
No doubt one of the people that knows how to make money on the internet. A person that answers emails and has credentials befitting of a guru.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
The expertise and guidance needed for people to follow for a successful online career. Your ebooks of ghost writing and building an ebook empire is a testament to that. Following your advice will be a key to making money on the internet.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I don’t follow many other marketers as much as I used too. But sooner or later the issue of recommending other products always comes up. Of course this is commission based and it can be over bearing at times. I like the idea of you trying out the product yourself and identifying the good and bad about it before recommending it yourself. That right there is a good attribute to have because I hate to shop for anything. By taking your time out of your life to evaluate a product saves time for me in the long run.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Of course for the better. Keeping the pressure on to do things on a daily basis can only serve better purposes. Better purposes to make my life better, more fun and in the end more profitable. Tiffany you are a busy girl and you make myself feel lazy knowing that you are doing a ton of things to make your life special. I hope to accomplish 1% of what you do and with that I’ll be happy.
Thanks Jim! I appreciate it
1. What I would find to like or dislike about you I would like or dislike about myself and I’m not sure if I’m ready to have that self-inquiry so this is the best I’m wiling to do at this time.
2. What I trust or distrust about you is also what I would trust and distrust about myself and I’m not willing to ask myself those questions at this time.
3. Truly, you are a child of God is down here on earth doing the best you can with the tools you have
4. I see you at the PLR lady.
5.There is really no difference, you excel at somethings just like they do and don’t excel at other things just like other marketers. I feel it’s dangerous when start comparing ourselves to others so I wouldn’t do that to you.
6. Neither, it is only my interpretation of what you do that can affect me, not what you actually do.
LOL Thanks Skye, when you’re ready
Hi Tiffany;
1. There is nothing I dislike about you there are times I find that you are very emotional about your topics of choice – you seem to get hurt very easily and sometimes it takes away from what you have to offer.
2. Being emotional about the going ons in the IM world, or PLR world or the real world makes me think about what you say as being not as valid as if you presented information in a way that doesn’t make it seem like it has been a personal attach against you. One lesson I’ve learned in my life is “just don’t let people offend you”, because when you do and you rant about it it gives them the power, they pulled your trigger and made you look like you are easily upset. I trust your ideas on PLR, but I am still not sure about IM.
3. You do really good PLR.
4. PLR and writing services.
5. PLR you are top notch, I think you are in your learning curve, and growing towards being a leader in the IM world.
6. You don’t affect my life either way. Some days you have things that really resonate with me and I get and learn. Other times, I just hit the back button because what you are saying isn’t for me. The things that aren’t for me are the rants. I don’t care what this person did to you or that person did to you. I want to trust that you can guide me in the IM world, and I am not sure I feel that way yet, PLR yes – IM no.
Isn’t it funny I get hurt? About the weirdest things, too. Not a weight insult but someone not liking what I did. LOL! Thanks for clarity on #2. And #6 – that’s stuff I can work on!
Oh wow Tiff,
1. I like the directness, and no nonsense style. Sometimes, I’ll be honest, I find you a bit scary! (I’m thinking about you defending your homestead Texan style). But in a funny kinda way that’s rather exciting..
2. I trust your product recommendations, but I trust your products more..sometimes the quality of others’ products is a bit thin..and I would rather know more about the affiliate stuff you sometimes sell..I don’t think you need to..your stuff is better!
3. Tiffany Dow is fierce, blunt, a bit bloody minded and very independent. I get that you don’t suffer fools gladly. I get your politics too..but I’m a Brit so I see it differently!
4.BOTH Tiffany Dow’s products (no nonsense guides and GREAT PLR) and services..coaching and motivation are QUALITY not fluff filled quantity
5. In comparison to other marketers your writing quality is miles above..some stuff these so called gurus write is CR** Your connection with your subscribers is intense..you answer everyone..most IM’ers hardly notice the little people are there unless you pay them money and then they leave you floundering. YOU CARE..sometimes perhaps too much?
6. Honestly..I read you every day..you make me feel better about this risk I take doing IM. I do feel a bit lost sometimes..so you make things better..but it is also your subscribers..you have created a family..I think that’s rare.
Hey Sarah! Love it. Thank you
1. I love that you are open and trustworthy. You pull no punches and you call a spade a spade. You come across as confident because of your knowledge. The only thing that I personally would not do (I think) is the potty mouth
It’s not that I am holier than thou. I just try to avoid it in business communication BUT that’s just me. This brings me back to one of your main points about you. You’re about business, but you’re personal and communicate as if you’re talking to a friend which is why the language doesn’t bother me TOO much.
2. I trust that when you speak about a topic, product, person that you’ve done your research to the best of your ability. I trust that you look out for those of us who look to you as a mentor/leader in the industry.
3. I would say that you’re a producer of top notch PLR, an internet marketer with a heart to reach and teach others. I would tell them that I feel like you’re my friend.
4. I typically think of you for PLR ATM (even though I haven’t used it) and the ‘oh so original’ Twitter avatar.
5. I include you in a short list of go-to people – Dennis Becker, Lynn Terry, Connie Green, and a few others. I like that you are out there but still available to say hi. You are one of a handful that I would pay to study under.
6. I spent a summer working for Gallup a few years back and one of the questions they asked to measure customer engagement is “I can’t imagine a world without…” I have a very short list – Netflix, Pepsi, Apple, etc.. I would put you high on that list. I’ve literally spent the entire day waiting for the Tiffany Dow email
I value you more than words can express Tiffany. My only complaint is that you don’t have a dedicated forum/mentor program where we can learn from you. You are amazing.
Thanks JW! Another person commented about my language too. Wow #6 humbles me big time. Thank you! Someday – I’ll have a formidable forum maybe. Not yet. lol
1. I love, appreciate and respect your bold honesty about yourself and others.
2. I trust you because in every contact, product or post I have ever gotten from you, you are dead on right!
3. I believe you are a stay at home mom that works online, enjoys creating products that others benefit from as well as interacting with the community you have worked so hard to create.
4. The main thing I think you offered at first was PLR products to help others. The main thing I see now, is coming up with new ways to help others learn, believe and grow.
5. It is hard to compare you to most other marketers, they do not make the time to be completely devoted to their audience the way you do.
6. You have inspired me and given me the extra umph I need to continue on trying. My hubby thinks your the greatest thing since grapes, as I share your v/blog with him and make my own little accomplishments. Plus, I can’t leave out Honey, I have to dogs that make my day.
Thanks Tiff
Thanks Deborah
Honey was about to feel left out
Right…!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your straight forward, down-to-earth honesty, the fact that you care about your customers, readers, followers etc. and that you have an in-built code of ethics. You appear to follow the ‘golden rule’ principle, and I love that. I like that you put yourself out there… I like that you deliver quality products and information and that I can trust you to deliver or over deliver.
I really can’t come up with anything I don’t like… maybe I need to get to know you better… As far as your online business and persona goes, I see you as a worthy role model.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust all the above, that you will say what you think, and you will treat people fairly.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
One of the best teachers and marketers online, excellent for beginners and also the not so new to online business. Someone you can trust!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Encouragement, inspiration, sound principles and how to information.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Most marketers are all about themselves and hype. There are very few of your caliber, so I would rate you as part of the cream of the crop… As for other marketers in general, you leave them way behind in your dust!
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
When I feel somewhat discouraged, I find if I check out your latest post/video I gain a renewed sense of motivation and purpose. I don’t like all the ‘rah rah’ motivation stuff. Most of it I fell is a bit of a con (I might be wrong), with you, I find you motivational without trying.
In other words. I don’t feel you are there with the main purpose of talking things up, but rather you are truly motivational by being yourself, well really by sharing yourself and your experiences, and that includes the not so great ones. Don’t think there are too many ‘motivational speakers’ out there who talk about how sick (not in a bad way) they are or things that are a part of normal life.
So you definitely affect my life for the better… and for that I thank you
Hope that helps…
Definitely helps – thank you Lynne! I know what you mean about rah rah stuff too. Not my style
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I love that you tell it like it is. You’re *real* – you’re not afraid to let us see the real you, mistakes, anger, self-doubt, and all. It makes it easier to see that you’re honest in the positives as well.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
(see above)
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
(Elements of the other answers.)
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
*Real* advice and experience in how to *ethically* make money online.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You’re the only one I have subscribed to in my several-year internet marketing journey that I am still subscribed to.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You’re inspiring. You taught me quite a bit with your blogs, ebooks, and videos, and helped me merge other things I was just beginning to understand into a successful, ethical way of marketing online that fits *me*.
You were the inspiration and how-to knowledge that helped me go from being excited that I’d gone over $100 monthly (online) paydays to making over $500 a month now. The same inspiration that helps me know I can take that as high as *I* give it time and effort to build.
Hey Lune! That *ethically* is what matters most to me. Glad you feel that way!
1. I like your honesty and your integrity. I trust what you say and trust you to be who you really are.
2. Ah, this goes back to question 1: the reason I love your presence in my life is because I DO trust you. I don’t have time to weed through lies and deceptions, so you are a great teacher for me.
3. She is a down-to-earth mother/entrepreneur who is very generous about sharing her successes and failures with her followers. That helps us know what works and what doesn’t. She has a great sense of humor, also.
4. Clear, concise, step-by-step instructions. You don’t leave things out.
5. Well, since I have dropped all of my newsletters except for three–yours, Lynn Terry’s, and Debra Conrad’s, I’d say you rate very well
)
6. Since I’m pressed for time, if you didn’t affect my life in a positive way, I would not follow you. Simple as that. Following you and your products is one of the best “value added” things I do for myself. You are one of my presents to me
I
Hey Rasby! What a sweet thing to say!! Thanks
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
The consistency of quality, the honesty, the usefulness, the humor, the authenticity.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
There is not one single untrustworthy aspect of you.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
The best online mentor I ever even heard of.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Advice pertinent to making a real living online. You tell it as it is.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Top of the pack. I had a couple of marketers that I admired and noticed how over time, their services became too off topic for me. It was all about buying their handy dandy services/products and the last one I bought was a huge disappointment. And communication sucks. You stay true to yourself and your services and don’t sacrifice service for money.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For the better. Much much better.
Thanks you Joanne! Much appreciated
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? I like the straight forward way you tell things. For a dislike see below.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Business wise I trust you to give the best advise you have available and I trust that you are knowledgeable about your area of expertise. On a different note the couple of blog posts one from a woman who didn’t value your time and one about a man who thought you were spamming him. In both blog posts you came across as too aggressive and even violent for my tastes. If that was all I knew of you I would not be here now.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? Someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in marketing, someone worth listening to and learning from.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? Marketing advise
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? For the most part I trust some marketers to give me recommendations for products but very few to give me advise. You, I would accept advise from because I don’t see you as putting your profits before your integrity
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? I do value your contribution to my life, thank you, Tiff.
Thanks C
I appreciate your directness about #2
I need to know this!
Hi Tiffany, I had to immediately respond to your request for info even though I am swamped right now. You do not have a “holier than thou attitude” in my opinion. You just don’t take crap from people and can easily identify crap when it’s tossed in your direction. I need to be more like you! To answer your questions in order:
1. What I like about you is that you make yourself available to answer questions even though you are very busy. When I had my first JV product launch, you looked at the sales letter and made some good suggestions. We incorporated those suggestions immediately into the sales letter. What I like most about your business is your product offerings. They are original and are not last year’s re-spun content.
2. What I trust about you is your truthfulness when questions are asked. If you don’t know about something asked about, you state it and suggest resources that might be available for further investigation.
3. If someone asked me about you, I would say that she is a person who makes a full time living selling services and products on the internet. The services and products are consumed by both marketers and the general public.
4. I know you still do ghost-writing but for me your main service is investigating viable means to make a living online.
5. Most other marketers are constantly pushing their affiliate links at you for a never ending list of product launches. It’s annoying. You don’t do that. Also, I feel that I can contact you at any time to ask a question and will receive a prompt answer (like what happened during my product launch).
6. Even though I only contacted you once, I feel like you are a safety net. I’ve brought books based on what you were reading. Those were on subject matters that I really needed to know about, i.e. “Curating”.
Janice
So there’s a good “holier than thou” and a bad one? LOL! I see what you mean. Thanks for your response
I just wrote a friend that is also doing your 30 Day Branding Challenge. She asked me what I though. Here’s what I said… I like Tiff’s honesty and stick-tu-it-iveness. Let’s face it, anytime you are willing to put yourself out there, it’s likely you’ll get feedback one way or the other. If we’re ready to “make it”, we might as well be ready for all of it.
Tiffany is showing us the ropes as well as keeping it real. I found some of the intro PDF compelling. I felt like she stopped just when I wanted to read more… (THAT’s A GOOD THING) I’m really glad that you turned me on to her and timing couldn’t be better trying to get this new website up. Stressful though.
I really like TIff’s “reality approach”. And how she does stick to her guns. She certainly doesn’t claim to be perfect, let’s her truth be shown (which is about allowing for others to see that she is vulnerable.) Something most people really struggle with in their regular lives let alone put it out there for the world to see. Bravo Tiffany… great role model.
I feel that she was working up our confidence… in an honest way – to reach deep into our courage. There’ll be a few of us who really take this to the level of excellence – and others just won’t. I’m super busy and can’t wait to dig in. I’m also working on another of about 14 regarding learning how to use a new teleseminar product.
I’ve told a number of folks about you. Tried to relay your story as it could easily relate to their own. Timing is important… I’ve said what I’ve written here. I like that you’re real, with real issues, etc. I like directness – cuts through the crap. I like making good use of my time because I do the work of about 20 people every day.
I’m really pretty picky and like some marketers (they have to really grab me the right way though.) Trust is a major part of it as all things in life are a reflection of our own…
I have a knack for finding exactly what I need when I need it and I know when it’s not as good as I thought it’d be (fast).
My niche is likely completely different from most of the folks doing this so my needs may differ somewhat. I have never utilized this type of service before and, like I said, things just come to me. So, regardless of other marketers out there, you got my attention.
Also want to thank my friend that turned me on to you. I originally grappled about whether your services could help me or not being that my work/niche is what it is. I hung in there and found this to be ideal for me.
You have affected my life that really works for me. I’m seeing that I can do anything. You are that reflection!
Thank you Tiffany. I appreciate you & this challenge. Brightest blessings with a bunch of sparkly giggles sprinkled on top!!! Angela D
Awesome Angela – thank you!!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
The only thing I have to say I dislike (sometimes) is when I’m having a bad day and not progressing as quickly as I want to, and you tell us how much money you made from something! It touches a nerve sometimes but does act to spur me on.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust your opinions, I can’t say there’s anything you do I don’t trust.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Someone I have followed for over a year and has provided me with good products and good advice.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR, ebooks, tell-it-like-it-is teaching.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You’re up there with Yaro Stark and Matt Carter – two others in the business I trust highly and respect.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For richer or poorer – definitely better.
I can definitely learn sensitivity about 1 Karen without changing what I do
Thank you!
1. You are honest about what you have done in this business and don’t seem to be putting up a front.
2. I trust that you know that many people who try to get online to make money, come to you with questions and you don’t try and stuff them with an incredible $997. offer to solve their solutions. Well at least I have not seen that from you. Like “hey if you want to know the secret, I’ll give it to you just spend $997 on my easy to follow course, and then if you really, really are serious to take it into out of space, then remember to follow through on the “real” plan at just $1497. ETC.
3. Down to earth internet marketer with the most genuine & caring persona, Someone you can really learn from without trying to spend your children’s college money.
4. Quality products that can help someone get off to a good start while bringing their own ideas in hand. A guide to master not just marketing skill of taking, but a great service of giving. Giving your time, to educate us & help us make the decisions that will work if followed, based on your own trials and errors.
5. There’s really only a handful that I can follow that I feel could make a difference to my success once action on my part is taken. Most marketers seem to just want to tear you and your finances to shreds. So you stack up nicely on my list of marketers to learn from and then some.
6. You affect my life for the better. If I fail, then just get going on, don’t stop. It’s ok to make mistakes and it’s ok to let people know how you feel even if they might not like what you have to say. What you say so far is motivating to me. It makes me want to go for it and disregard any fears. I used to feel like I was in some crazy maze. But now I think I’m gonna be alright.
P.S. Oh and you can be a scary honey badger sometimes.
LOL Yes I can Zoe
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like that you are very trustworthy.I don’t like that you undermine yourself in little ways- for your sake! Although,I like that you are very human and show your vulnerability. That makes you a real person-not just a persona.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust your recommendations. I don’t trust that I can do some of the things that you say we need to do-like build lists.I still haven’t done that yet, but I trust that you sure know how to teach how to.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? A very nice and safe person. Someone I would like to have as a friend.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? PLR and affiliate PLR, how to IM training materials.Reviews of internet marketers.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Very well!I made my first $$$ with your PLR ATM
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For the better! You are the only one I follow who adds as a real human experience to IM for me.
Like self deprecating humor you mean? So proud to have been the conduit for your first money
Yea!
What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? Oh…you’re going to hate me for this, but I’m really trying to be honest. Ok. here goes. I like you a lot. I don’t understand much of your business but am learning; however, i don’t need to hear about honey. eek. i’m sorry!!! I don’t really care to hear about your dog. that’s the worst of it.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me? I trust you–not even sure why. i trust you want to help your community succeed. i’m an author and i bought your “how to create an ebook empire.” it was packed with great information and easy to understand, esp. for a newbie like me. from there, i’ve watched you when i could find the time.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? the former ghostwriter to the gurus who broke away to do her own thing and market her own stuff. a tough Texan who knows how to use of gun!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? PLRs, marketing those and teaching others how to do the same.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? i am not equipped to answer this. i don’t know other marketers.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? Definitely for the better b/c i watch what you’re doing (services you use), and i learn. that’s definitely a good thing!
GASP! Anne that’s okay
LOL! If that’s the worst of it, I survived
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your enrgy and hard work ethic, I admire the way that you are creating a business based on you as a person the good and the bad.
I have enjoyed your post more recently because you talk about your family and animals, it makes you a person rather than a persona heading a business.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I neither trust or distrust you per se, I like your bluntness,I like the fact that you stick to your guns, and justify a position.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A real person
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Yourself! The self that writes well with a relaxed and easy style, but behind that I know that you do extensive reasearch in a macro and micro way. I know that you can connect with people and i find that difficult on line, I am a great communicator face to face but I admire the fact that you can
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Well I have a few favourites and my top five in no particular order is Andrew Hansen, Oz, Matt Cater, Yourself, …..well maybe it is my top four. The respect I have for the four above is fairly equal.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You may me want to strive to do more particularly to help other people, so definately for the better.
Great Catherine! I hope my branding challenge participants see what you wrote in #1 – it’s what I’m teaching too.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like that you are you and don’t put on any airs. If someone is floundering and come to you, you help them if you can.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that if I come to you on something that I am totally off on that you will correct me and put me on the right path. I trust your honesty and that you are you.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would tell them that your are a counselor, teacher, writer, and business woman.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
You do offer your PLR and writing skills…but I feel that you offer hope to those that are getting lost. They are not afraid to follow you as your have a friendly nature.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think I am getting ready to get rid of some of them that do nothing but sell. I came to them to help me learn and everything they have is for sale. You aren’t like that. You give us something to hold onto when we read your emails. I like that.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I am learning from you so that is for the better. I can’t think of anything for the worse.
Thanks Gma
Hi Tiffany:
Great Post Today as usual. I can sum it all up like this. Tiffany, I have been doing internet marketing for several years now and have never met another IM like you who is so sincere about what you do, really tell things like they are, and honestly do everything you can to help newbies and experienced marketers anytime they ask. You are truely one of a kind. I appreciate you.
Sam you’re so sweet thank you!
1. I like your energy and I like the fact that you dont care what you say and if people dont like it then oh well. You are yourself.
2 I trust you will tell me how a products is, what its bad points are as well as good. You will not promote a product just because it brings you good money.
3 I would say you are a very knowledgeable person but you don’t act like you know all answers,
4. I think you offer your services as a person who wants to help others learn how to make money online from different things.
5. You stack up again others as very knowledgeable, trustworthy and know what you are talking about.
6. You affect my life for better. I have learned alot from you.
Thanks Tiffany for all your helpfulness.
Thanks Catherine
Hi Tiffany,
1. I like that you run your business ethically. It shows the rest of us that you don’t have to run scams to get rich quick. I like that you have sense of humor. You make me laugh, in a good way. I enjoy reading your posts and messages.
2. I trust that you will tell it like it is, no matter what someone else thinks. I really respect that. I have learned a lot from you and I love how you aren’t afraid to admit when you make a mistake, it shows you are real and caring.
3. If someone asked me who you were I would tell them that you are a top notch PLR writer and internet marketer who tells it like it is. You offer helpful information for free, providing quality to your reader. I would say that because it’s the truth and the reason I open you emails and actually respond on your blog or talk about you to my husband when he knows nothing about internet marketing and PLR.
4. The main thing I think you offer is knowledge. You share your experiences with us.
5. To me you are in the same league as Nicole Dean another marketer I have great respect for.
6. You definitely affect my life for the better. It is because of you and your course that I decided to turn my love for writing into a business. I didn’t hit the internet thinking I would write PLR. I didn’t even know what PLR was and then when I found out, I never had the confidence to think that I could that myself. I told you before in a previous comment that after getting your course my domain sat for almost a year without me getting it together.
Right after I decided to really give it a try, I read your posts about the PLR challenge and got very motivated. That lit a real fire under my butt and got me moving. I have made repeat sales from customers because of what I learned from you.
I really don’t have anything bad to say about you. You are one of my favorite online people. I respect what you do.
Exactly – no scams is still profitable. Maybe not AS profitable, but you’ll get a good night’s sleep. LOL! So glad you’re repeating sales
Here’s my take…
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
Like: A REAL person, a hardworking mom who produces QUALITY work. Up front and real.
Dislike: Absolutely ZERO
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you unequivocally with the quality of your products.
You will always respond to questions / remarks
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
“I know a lady from which you can buy exceptional quality PLR products – her name is Tiffany – and here’s her URL”
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Quality PLR products
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think your marketing skills are way better than others – I see you as a clever marketer using a wide variety of marketing media. Best blog postings (I never skip to read it!)
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Absolutely for the better. I said it before, and I’ll say it again: If ever I visit the US again, you will be definitely one of points of visit (you’re on my bucket list
Thank you Maartin!
And I’ll take you for BBQ even though I’m a vegetarian!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the fact that you appear to be a real person, with feelings that can be hurt, yet honest enough to stand up for what you believe in.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you to be honest. I’ve seen and read hundred’s of IM experts emails and blogs and unsubscribed to most of them because they are a bunch of crap.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? A person who is interested in making sure her customers get the best possible experience and is willing to give even when she doesn’t receive anything in return.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? IM tips and PLR
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? I think I answered that earlier.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? Since IM isn’t my major business, it is difficult for me to answer that. But I have learned a lot from you about being open and honest with your readers. I tend to not let “me” show that much online and you’ve shown me that it is important to do so in order to be believable and to be trusted.
Thanks for the feedback Joyce
It’s odd some people resonate with #1 and it turns others off.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
Of course, I love the fact that you are always honest. No matter what! You are a straight shooter and that is so rare anymore. I also like that I have emailed you in the past in crisis mode and you responded within 10 minutes with a reply.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust everything about you. You have never steered me wrong and I don’t think you ever will.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
If we are being honest, when I’ve told others some of what I do and I mention you, I call you “this great chick I got hooked up with on the internet who got me started on the ebooks and PLR stuff.” Yeah, I know, no need to comment on that.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
I think you offer yourself and that is the best part of it. Free of charge and we get to know you. But, I do enjoy the way you make me think about the internet marketing business. So much information and it makes me really think.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I don’t compare you to other marketers as you are virtually the only one that I follow.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You affect it for the better, of course. I’ve made so many changes in my life because of the things I’ve learned from you and you taught me I had to get up off my ass and do something because doing nothing at all means that I won’t ever accomplish the writing life that I want to have.
Geez, I just read my response and I almost sound like a stalker. Seriously, I’m not. Keep up the good work!
Hey Jan! So glad I took care of you quickly when you felt in crisis. Hey I love that reference! Being a great chick is nothing to sneeze at! LOL
1. I like your energy and honesty and your ability to share your thoughts and feelings. We may not agree on all things but I know you are being honest.
2. I trust that you are trying to help others and not lead them with a bunch of BS, a rare trait.
3. Someone who tries to help her customers and provide them with products that she is not ashamed of. Someone who will share with you and open herself up to you if you need help.
4. Good IM/PLR products and services.
5. Compared to most marketers, someone who is not trying to rake you over the coals, someone who will share her knowledge and not try to brag about what she has and you don’t.
6. I think you affect my life for the better because it is good to know there are honest people out there in this industry not always thinking of how they can steal that next dollar from you and someone who is open and available for help.
Hey Andre! I am achieving some goals with you and very grateful for that
I want to be seen as not greedy/selfish.
1. I like your honest ‘tell it like it is’ attitude. Your a real person, with no false claims of easy money.
2. I trust your reviews and general advice. There is nothing to distrust. Several months ago I unsubscribed from lots of IM lists. Yours is one of four that I still read!
3.I would tell them that you are always worth reading and that your advice can be trusted.
4.Your best known for providing PLR and teaching people to set up their own writing service.
5. On of the top four or five.
6.For the better. I never feel that my time is wasted.
Hey Nick! Glad I make the cut with you
You rock!
1. One of the things that has always struck me is your honesty and frankness. You don’t beat around the bush — you tell it like it is or like it should be; your research and abilities with information gathering; the clarity of your training materials and the support available; I don’t like it that you’re in Texas and I’m in Northern Michigan. I’d love to have coffee with you sometimes! Sometimes it feels like you’re pms-ing in your reactions, and I don’t care for that, but I have my days too so I love you anyway!
2. I trust you in your reviews, training, suggestions and when you share your experiences. Up to this point, I haven’t found anything to NOT trust.
3. I’ve told several people you’re my mentor extraordinaire! That you are successful on the Internet because you’ve worked hard and smart at it and are teaching a whole bunch of us to do the same thing.
4. Training/instruction in the ways of online business, information marketing, and your greatest service is you never giving up on people who are legitimately trying to learn and move forward.
5. I’d love to compare you with other marketers in general, but since I’ve dropped all but you and one other person, it’s hard. You don’t compare well because you really do stand head and shoulders above — that’s not BS, it’s the simple truth. It never seems like you’re saying something just to make us buy something. Then when you ARE doing that (like with the kids’ tuition) you’re honest about it. You said you wanted us to be blunt, but blunt implies to me something more negative. I haven’t had a negative experience with you yet!
6. You’ve affected my life for the better. I had truly given up on ever being successful in Internet business even though it’s something I deeply long to have happen. Then I found one of your emails that had come a long time ago and got back on your mailing list, I began to do stuff differently. I made my first Internet sales following your instructions — and you shot me a quick congratulations email. Positive affect — very positive. Very motivating, and encouraging.
thanks so much for being you Tiff.
P.S. I don’t get branding yet so I’m interested in understand what the heck it is and how it works.
Hey Linda! Move on down and we’ll have lunch
So glad you put me on ignore when I’m PMSing. LOL! I do try to be transparent and if I was all rainbows and unicorns, well that’s phony to me. Fact is, I AM sensitive sometimes and I am crude sometimes. I need to figure out something on that though.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
You and your business are uplifting and unique in the internet writing marketing world. You make me feel that I can do it too. I get the sense that I’m a person to you. This is unusual.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Ah, now you are at the most important trait for me. the Trust Factor. I trust you. There are not too many people in the online writing world that I trust. You are at the top of my list. You are what you say.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I have said that you are an excellent writer from Texas who loves her Mom, has a darling dog, and gives out much great information to help others succeed.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
The how to do it products. they are so clear. . I know when I get a product from you it is what you say it is.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
My dear Tiff, you are the tops. Within your group I feel part of something. I don’t feel that you’re in it to soak me. You want all of us to succeed. When I buy from you, I don’t feel I’ve been sold.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You have affected my life for the better definitely. I have hope that if I do my part I will succeed at this. And now with the branding month, I expect to come out of my shell, and be a lovely butterfly. Or at the very least, get me going!
Thanks for the opportunity to let you know how I appreciate you. I’m just a lonely little petunia out here in the onion patch! (I know, I tend to get a bit poetic about some things)
Hey Barbara! Love the petunia in an onion patch reference – that was cute!
Hi Miss Tiffany,
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like that you are real and not some guru marketer with a message like buy my stuff and get rich tomorrow. You admit that you don’t know everything but are willing to learn and share what you learn, whether it helps everyone or not.
I dislike the fact that you are a model of productivity, I’m jealous. You are like the new movie coming out “I Don’t Know How She Does It”.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust pretty much everything about you, but also try to live by words made famous by President Reagan. Trust but verify.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
An internet marketer that tells it like it is, pulls no punches, cares deeply about her followers and their success, sometimes at the risk of her own.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Giving and teaching and leading by example.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Very highly in my opinion. In all of your online content that I have ever read or been exposed to, I really never felt “sold”. I felt that a personal friend was recommending things to me that worked for her, and if it was not right for me at the moment she would let me know.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I just wish you were a guy, so my wife would not be so jealous of all the time I spend on your site/products. LOL
Seriously, I feel that you affect my life for the better because you are an inspiration to me, and genuinely concerned about my future success.
Thanks for being you.
Hi Mel! LOL I had to laugh at #6
Just let her see my pic and she’ll be okay!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your PLR products and your ebooks and I like you as a hardworking professional who is also a caring mother and I seem to detect a loving wife. I like the way you can complain about not feeling well and then get to work anyway, the way you enjoy your children and seem to be as dedicated to housekeeping and cooking for your family as growing your business!
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I completely trust your competence to put out well-thought out and well written products at reasonable prices. I can’t think of anytime I would mistrust you.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
My answer would be: you mean you haven’t heard of Tiffany Dow? Her name is all over: the Warrior Forum, ghostwriter to the gurus, PLRATM
and many IM ebooks … if you visit her blog you’ll meet an attractive, sincere, outspoken woman who mixes emotion, anger, family anectodes, chihuaha antics with pertinent IM information.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR ATM, IM advice, Product Reviews
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?

6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I would certainly miss you if you weren’t there!
I enjoy your presentations most of the time even if I don’t always comment. If something bothered me I would just leave.
Fran
Hi Fran! Well I’ll admit housekeeping isn’t my forte – I do the dishes but the hubby does laundry, etc. He excels where I’m a slob. But I DO take care of the family – meals, shopping, nurturing, etc. LOL about chihuahua antics – they might look at you like you’re crazy!

Hi Dick! Thanks for answering the questions
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
(love them, my little dog died recently, and seeing these short video’s cheers me up a little bit).
I like your honesty, being ‘real’, not afraid to show who you really are. Your commitment and focus are an example for me. The personal touch: getting to know you, Honey’s video’s
Don’t like: maybe sometimes you’re a little bit ‘rude’, but that’s probably because I’m not used to that over here (I’m from Europe).
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust your PLR, your products and your advice.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
An honest and committed marketer, a real person. An example for people just starting out, and also an example to many of the so-called ‘guru’s’ who don’t have time to answer
your e-mails or give advice, and sell ‘crap’ packaged as ‘new’. They could learn something
from you, like how to build a relationship with your readers, almost like a ‘family’.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
It’s the best (and only) way to do business.
Main Product: PLR, + several eCourses/eBooks in the IM-market (PLR, ghostwriting, etc.)
Having said that, I believe you first help, then sell. First and foremost you want to help people. And the result is that they trust you and buy from you.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Not a ‘guru’, someone I can relate to, and learn a lot from. Honest reviews, honest products that I can trust.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better! I always read your blog posts, because they don’t only contain useful information, but usually also make me smile. Don’t change who you are.
Thanks Tiffany for all that you share.
Hi Marian! So sorry about your little doggy
By rude do you mean the cussing? Or bluntness? Both? LOL! Thank you for sharing your viewpoints for me
Hi Tiffany, it is probably more the fact that you’re sometimes so upset about certain things (usually people
), and keep going on and on, than the bluntness itself. Maybe you should wait a little, take a deep breath, and all will be fine….
But then there wouldn’t be much of that ‘honey-badger energy’ left to write a post, so it is probably the best ‘therapy’ for you to just share whatever you are feeling right here. And on second thought, it’s just who you are… so don’t change it if that means that you-are-not-you anymore.
I’ll chat about it today Marian
I can work on a solution without change. LOL
I think you are very honest and forthcoming.
You provide alot of valuable information at a great price.
You are out to really help people.
I look foward to getting your emails.
My only bit of advice is to occasionally take a breath. You are a sensitive soul. At times you need to let things roll off of you. I know it can be hard, but putting your energies elsewhere can be a good thing
Yes the cussing and sensitivity have bothered a few people
Hi Tiffany,
Here are my answers to the above questions:

You are helping me make my life better day by day. I have been on your list for almost a year now, and you are one of the few I still follow. I have unsubscribed from a lot of lists. I have never considered unsubscribing from yours.
Keep on doin’ what you’re doin’, ’cause it’s working for me! I appreciate your service and kindness!
Take care!
Cindi
Hey Cindi! So glad I haven’t run you off yet. LOL! Seriously, that means a lot

6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You affect my life for the better because you’re motivating and inspiring. I love your passion.
Thank you Kelli! All good to hear
A quick (not so quick) summary would be that you create great step by step guide books that work (for me – PLR ATM). The 30 day PLR challenge was like an unexpected bonus as it got a lot of people to actually use the product they paid for and got them/me focused on creating new content.
You are the go to gal for PLR content.
I always look forward to seeing your daily emails whatever the topic.
The only negative was the rants on the two individuals recently. It felt a bit like cyber bullying because the majority of people who read your blog are your regular followers so would agree with you viewpoint. If it was against a corporation or a professional Internet Marketer who was scamming people, that would be different but it felt a little uncomfortable reading /hearing you go all Honey Badger.
Actually – scratch that – What you had to say was valid as you felt it was a personal attack on you. Maybe you should turn off the comments section so that it doesn’t turn into a blood bath…
Totally understand how that affected some people – I see your POV on it
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
First, I resonated right away with your realism. When I read PLR ATM I felt, immediately, that this was a plan that I could put into place. I have seen that realism continue to resonate through everything that you do.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you to shoot straight and tell it like it is.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I call you the Queen of PLR! I don’t know if anybody else does, but.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Actually you seem to do a lot. I really only know about you through PLR ATM. I do notice you giving a lot of service to a lot of people, helping them make their businesses succeed.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I don’t really know? I don’t have a large basis for comparison here.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I’d say better.
Thanks Carmen – being real is a goal of mine.
Hi Tiff, here are my views.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
answer: I like your honesty and integrity, you always say what you mean, and mean what you say, and I like that , it is refreshing. The only negative thing I can think of, is that you are too hard on yourself.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
answer: I trust your judgment about marketing and about people in general, I trust you because you are genuine in your thoughts and actions. You are a good judge of programs that have merit, and tell us when they don’t.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
answer: Best damn blogger on the internet!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
answer: You offer awesome PLR products, and tell me about the others that are useful, and the services you offer all of us are limitless,
good, honest opinions and information is hard to come by, you offer that, and it make a huge difference in my life.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
answer: Most marketers just want to make a sale, no matter what, they usually have never bought the product, much less, used it. I have found you to be passionate about the products you review and have used them, if they are good, you say they are, if they are not good, you say they aren’t. Most people just don’t have the money to spend on worthless items, your opinions and evaluations are very valuable.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
answer: Tiffany, God smiled down on me the day I found your blog, the last 3 years have been very traumatic for me, but, I have always been a survivor, but I mean this from the bottom of my heart, you have made life easier for me, with your wit and humor, I feel like I know you and your family, and I thank you for that, Honey, too, of course.
There are two kinds of people, on the internet, the “givers” and the “takers”. You are definitely, without the slightest doubt the #1 “giver”, and as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside, never, never doubt that about yourself.
Keep up all your good work and faith.
Thanks,
Carolyn
Hey Carolyn! I’m hard on myself? I feel too not hard on myself. LOL! Whoa best (bleep) blogger on the net! I likey. But tonight I’m washing my mouth out with soap lol. You’re so sweet with your kind words. I appreciate my family here with you and the others. You have no idea how much YOU guys mean to ME!
Hi Tiff,
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? I like that you are just like me – you love your family, your home and you’re real. I can ask you a question and you always answer me, quickly. I could do without the language. Actually, it hasn’t driven me away but I have a sister-in-law and an Aunt who both need to be able to earn from home (I have been telling them about you)and the language would probably turn them off. (Just sayin’).
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I really believe that you give great value in your products and have always felt that you are trying to help us.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? I have actually told people about you and your business. I told them about your products and how helpful you are to me. Also, what a responsive following you have.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? You offer so much that is beneficial but the main thing with me is I feel like I can write an eBook, have a PLR site and be successful at online marketing after I read you posts. I never felt like that before. I, too, look for your email everyday and I read them all. I’ve said before, I love the videos (I’m a t.v. girl, too) and I get such a kick out of Honey!
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? I do follow several other top marketers and over the years have picked and chosen – got on their lists learning later that they were the very best (but, for the most part I couldn’t afford their products) I kind of stumbled onto you 9 months ago and almost immediately unsubscribed from at least a 1/2 dozen lists. I was signed up for a year long program with a supposed top marketer and could not get any questions answered, only an offer to join a $500. per month “hand holding” program, finally quit and was charged for 2 more months and could not get my money back. I do not believe that would ever happen with you.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? I really learn from you, identify with you, get a kick out of you. So, definitely, positive!
Thanks for your honesty Cindy! I was telling my hubby that bad language was the only gripe I’ve seen so far. My Mom will soooo spank me! LOL!
Hi Tiffany
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I think you are fantastic, I think you put a lot of energy into what you do and you are totally honest. Some of your stands I don’t agree with, but I respect you enough to know you are honest about what you say and do.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you completely – you believe you information is accurate and helpful and it is.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
You are a woman who has made it on the internet despite kids and daily life and you are now helping others to do the same.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
You create programs that are based on how you have made money, to teach others to follow in your success. You help others help themselves and I think this is a key factor of your success
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I unsubscribed from all things IM related a long time ago and decided to go my own way – yours is the only emails I read, and open and enjoy.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You emails are little gems in my day – I am going my own way, but I love to follow the ideas that you have and I learn from it in the process.
Thanks for being you Tiffany
Lisa
NZ
Hey Lisa! I’m like you – I can disagree and still respect someone. Thanks for your feedback
Dear Tiffany:
Here are my responses:
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I have ordered courses from you which are top notch, so about your business, I feel that I am getting quality products that not only live up to the sales pitch but over deliver. Expectations exceeded.
About you, what I like is it this: You realize the value of your customers. Your first priority is to establish rapport with people to build trust, then you teach with integrity. The long-term strategy of helping people while building a successful business seems lost on so many individuals and companies these days. Customer service seems to be at an all-time low.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
You have been open and honest. A good track record of that will always win the hearts and minds of the majority of customers. It resonates as “being real.”
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would respond that you are an invaluable teacher in the IM field, ghostwriter to the gurus, PLR expert. But beyond that, you have intangible qualities that so many internet marketers lack: again, integrity to put out quality material, great customer support, desire to lift up/build up struggling entrepreneurs, and willingness to give of yourself to motivate, educate, and validate others.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? IM tips and PLR
I know that you offer a blueprint for success, whether it be establishing oneself as a PLR writer, establishing a ghostwriting service or learning about how to perform research in a timely manner. Great IM tips are peppered throughout your products because that is the ONLY way anyone can create a complete product and successfully teach others how to replicate the process. So, kudos to you, Tiffany!
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? I think I answered that earlier.
There is no comparison. You are in a league all by yourself. The only other IM that I think of so highly is Chris Farrell. He is the real deal as well.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I’m sure that it is for the better. It is up to me to take what you teach and apply it.
Regards,
Mary Ruff-King
Hey Mary! I have heard lots of good about Chris too – glad to hear he is a solid guy!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
What I like – You honestly want to help people in the work
at home niche and do. Sometimes, however, I too think you
come off as holier-than-thou only in terms of product reviews.
You are like a Simon Cowell when it comes to IM product reviews
Dislike – Is that you are making money and I’m not.
Hater’s gonna hate right? =P
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I do find you to be quite trustworthy. Nobody hops in front of
a video camera and “lets everything hang out” if they weren’t.
But then again, you ARE a marketer so I take a lot of things
you say with a grain of salt. This is not just you though.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would say that you are one of the good guys and if someone is
interested in working from home and does not know where to start,
you would be on my list of recommended “gurus”.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Writng stuff and e-courses.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think you stack up well. You are certainly no slouch.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Well, if I actually get off my butt and took action, I would most
certainly say you affect my life for the better. Regardless, I do
honestly believe you affected me in a positive way.
Ann I had to giggle at the Simon Cowell reference. Luckily I stopped doing those reviews so we’re all safe for now.
1. Like – that you talk and act like a real person. I find it interesting that you discuss your problems and the things that upset you with all the information instead of editing it to make yourself the hero.
Dislike – not sure yet, I’ve only subscribed a short time. I did purchase a product and found it somewhat difficult to understand some of the instructions, but at that time I was a complete “newbie” and because I have some experience in training, I tend to be a bit more detailed. I did have one complaint, the product referenced videos that had been removed or were no longer available. The lack of this training material made it more difficult to understand what I was doing, but I was able to get the project completed.
2. You were the first person that marketed to the real world standard that I accept. You NEVER told me I would make a million dollars and reminded me that the product I purchased was not a “get rich quick” scheme – instead it was a business I was building. THAT is why I purchase from you. I don’t want “done for me” or “automated” crap. While I appreciate the option of having something “done for me,” I don’t want that to be the basis of how I run my business. I need to try it and either fail or succeed before I decide to let someone else do something.
3. My mom already knows your name. She accepts it as one of the names I reference when I talk about what I’m doing online. “Well Tiffany, you know the woman that I purchased “….” from? Well, she was talking about… At this time, however, I’m still not very vocal about my online presence, but if someone asks I tell them to reference your blog.
4. I don’t want to scam people, I don’t want to blast people with crap and I want a “real” and profitable business, but I’m so new that it’s easy to get caught up in the junk out there and I need to maintain my feet on the ground as well as my head in the clouds…you encourage and praise very well, but you also give a pretty good smack-down and reality check and that is priceless.
5. Off the top of my head, I don’t know the name of more than 5 marketers (You of course) and I have lots of emails. I look for your emails before others and I actually read your blogs (although sometimes I have to leave off around comment 50 on some of them – lol).
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
This is important. I know I am the one that has to take the action, but because of your products, your blog posts, your actual response to my email after purchase…you do affect my life. I may not know you personally, but I feel as if I can ask for help or comment on your posts without feeling stupid. I also appreciate that you DO NOT TALK DOWN to those that comment. So many marketers forget that!
Hey Bea! So sorry YouTube deleted me – that did stink
And now I forget where all the video references are – I had 4 + years of videos
I’m glad you don’t feel stupid – that affects a lot of people and causes lurking to occur.
I don’t use PLR but I love your reviews, your comments and your lessons.
Don’t like that I offered to be your press secretary when you run and you said I was hired but you don’t call, you don’t write……:)
Trust? Absolutely. You’re from Texas. What’s not to trust?
Who you are? An honest,straight-shootin’ lady who tells it like it is, isn’t afraid to piss people off, sets a GREAT example and is the ONLY IMer who makes me laugh. Plus you have Honey and I have Maya, so obviously we’re soul mates.
The main thing you offer is your core of no bs –
don’t sell it and don’t buy it either. As I said I don’t use PLR but you’ll be the first place I’ll head for if I ever do. I love your lessons and your reviews.
Compared to other marketers your a bluebonnet on the dung pile honey.
You have definitely made my life better – not only in IM by proving you can be honest and be yourself and still succeed but by making me feel, even though we’ll never meet, as if I know you and could come over and borrow a cup of sugar.
Best always,
Susan
LOL Susan I’m sorry – when and if I run you’re my go to person! Never heard that! A bluebonnet on the dung pile. LMAO! So Texan! Sugar jar is full if you ever need it
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your straight forward honesty and caring bluntness. I dislike how you get so much stuff done, it makes me realize how ineffective I am. Well I guess that’s more what I dislike about me, not you.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Haven’t seen any reason for distrust so far.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A real person not afraid to share yourself, and a hard worker.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
The obvious PLR and training, but also mentoring and inspiration.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Real high on the list. I’ve bought most of your products – and didn’t feel dirty or foolish for it later.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Better.
Hey Joe! Love how you phrased that – “didn’t feel dirty or foolish later.”
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the fact that you’re so much like me, yet people still flock to you to listen. Being new to internet style marketing, I wasn’t sure that people would actually LIKE or listen to the outspoken & opinionated person I am. And I don’t have time for the dog & pony show we used to have to put on. Watching the way to relate to people online gives me the confidence to know I can build a really successful online business and still be ME.
I don’t/didn’t like not being able to keep up with all the places and things you were doing in your business. I’m a multi-tasker too & when I’m learning from another m-t who’s not completely focused on one thing at a time either, it sent/sends me into overwhelm! LOL (So I’m glad you’re working on focusing you so that I can focus ME!!).
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you will never leave out critical steps to making things work (a BIG reason I became a faithful follower!). I trust that you will always be honest when we ask advice, regardless of whether we may or may not want to hear it (that’s tough to find!)
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
What I told my son when I finally found you…THIS is the marketer I’ve been looking for the past 5 years! I have NO doubts that if I pay attention and do what she suggests that I’ll be back out of job and rebuilding in no time!
Of course I’ve gotten to know you even better since then…hence the “Geez, get a room!” comment I got from him cause I’m always expounding the virtues of Tiff!!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
As a product, I see the online marketing education as your primary asset. Regardless of what form that comes/came in. You cover a range of online marketing ideas so that people can choose HOW they want to earn money online and still learn from you how to do it (Affiliate/Ghostwriting/PLR/Squidoo/etc).
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I don’t follow other marketers since I found you, with the exception of those I have met THRU you (I figure if you trust them, they’re worth checking out). I’ve since started following many of the PLR marketers like Ruth Pound, Peggy Baron, Craig DeSorcy and such. There’s also a few blogging folks I just recently started following to see what I can learn about HOW to blog while we’re learning WHAT to blog.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better! When I had to go back to work because I hadn’t found someone to show me what I was missing to create income online, I had nearly given up on ever being able to get back to the lifestyle I’d created prior to that. I just did NOT want to go back to Network Marketing (not that I don’t believe in it…It’s just that it was time for me to move in a different direction to meet my new goals).
Not to add pressure to this already awesome challenge Tiff, but you’ve become the “light” at the end of my tunnel!
Hey Debi! I feel we’re good friends and a lot alike too.
Hey Tiff, I will not be long winded & here goes:
1.I like that you are a real person who likes communicating with real people not just for what you can get out of it but you give of yourself first. You work hard for the results you get but you don’t mind hard work if that’s what it takes. I just like ya! Only thing I could say in the dislike part is the 4 letter words. You are an excellent communicator you don’t need to use those.
2.I do trust you because the first of your writing I read your core values of not being greedy and hasty to just get money touched me deeply and I felt very secure putting confidence in you. You are a giver and you believe in extraordinary customer service
3.You are my mentor in this new, vast field of internet stuff. You are a loving family orientated person. You are insightful. You are someone I want to call a friend.
4.You offer great knowledge and understanding. I love the products that I have of yours. You are the innovative idea lady of the internet marketing field.
5.Don’t know much about other marketers but I have been taken in by some schemes in my lifetime promising something for nothing and you are as far from that as the east is from the west. You tell it like it TIS!
6.You absolutely have affected my life in a very positive way. I have a much better idea what is to be expected with this new career. Thanks to you I have someone to talk too when I get confused or scared or frustrated & so on. You always send me a email saying just what I need to hear. You have never forgotten how it feels to be unsure of what you are doing.
Thanks for all your encouragement and on with the challenge!
Hey Shirley! On the phone w/my mom right now telling her about the curse word issue and she’s scolding me. LOL! I’ll have more for y’all on that later. You are right – I never forget how it feels to feel that way.
Hi Tiff,
I’m going to be honest because you do not deserve anything less.
1. I love your business. I like that you are fearless and totally yourself. BUT I don’t like that you are sometimes rude about some people even though I totally understand WHY.
2. I trust you completely and I will elaborate about that some more.
3. I will answer the question about who you are below – matter of fact I just described you to someone very recently.
4. You offer PLR articles, eBooks, reports and autoresponders.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
6. Compared to other marketers, you are several cuts above them.
Okay, my husband asked me who you were and I told him you were this lady who sold PLR stuff; what I actually said was that you are at the top of the niche and the person to learn from. I also told him that I hadn’t known you long (I only just found you and your blog) and I’m not really sure if I like you or not. But I will ALWAYS open an email from Tiffany Dow.
On the flip side, there’s this lady I’ve been following for about 3 years. She is so absolutely sweet and lovely and I adore her BUT I will NEVER buy anything from her. Because I have bought her stuff and despite all the glowing reports she gets, I am always disappointed when I read her stuff or go through her courses. She sells fluff (and I know those who would lynch me if I mention her name).
That’s where you are different Tiff. You are a sweetheart but not very nice. And that’s fine…I need someone with a heart of gold who will tell me the truth without any BS. You won’t sugarcoat anything. I love that you ALWAYS deliver value. Every. Time.
If Tiffany Dow says ‘BUY THIS’ I will buy it. Simply because I know she wouldn’t have recommended it if she was not absolutely certain it would help me.
There. Does that answer your questions? Hope I was honest enough for you.
Hey Sharon! Thank you – I did want honesty
LOL I’ma sweetheart but not very nice. I loved that and I totally get it, Sharon!
1.and 2. I think you’re very like me. We trust our own opinions and don’t look to others to validate us. That answers #2 as well, because I don’t trust anyone who changes like the wind, in an attempt to be “liked” by as many people as possible.
I have no problem at all with your language, because it’s obviously natural to you. Personally I couldn’t give a damn if people swear and cuss around me, as long as they don’t do it AT me. I don’t give words that much power that they offend me in themselves
I don’t think there’s anything about you that I don’t like or trust – nothing that I’ve seen so far, anyway
Even your rants are obviously YOU and I can determine for myself if they’re relevant to me or not.
3. You’re an honest and respected teacher that I trust. You’re also a damn good writer!
4. PLR is the first thing I think of as your main product.
5. I don’t know any “marketers in general” – I respond (or not) to individual marketers
Actually I don’t think of you primarily as “a marketer”; you’re Tiff – on the same journey as I am, but further along.
6. The only things that affect my life are my own thoughts about it
But in the spirit of your question, you add to my life overall rather than detract from it.
I’m like you w/words Isobel but I’ll report on that today.
I like your style. I like the fact that you market well but that you’re not part of those marketers that build their business selling WSOs as if they’re a product in themselves and then email you everyday to promote another.
I like the fact that when you release a product, it’s not yesterday’s news straight after.
I like the fact that it stays around for a long time and that people talk about it long after. I like the fact that you offer support to your products and make those products a part of who you are.
I like the fact that you lay things bare and put it out there for all to see. I remember the 30 day challenge that once did where you went through how much income was coming in and from where. I liked the fact that you lead by example and that you aren’t one of those that simply teach earning money even when they’re not themselves.
I like that you’re haphazard and funny and I like your mistakes because I can learn from them. There aren’t many that will admit their mistakes. I like your brown cushions and I like the relaxed nature of your business.
And I LOVE Honey.
I put you in my top five internet marketers that I trust completely.
I’m not sure how I would say you compare to other marketers. I think that there are other marketing tactics that, while I am not a favor of them, I understand that they make a lot more money than your marketing tactics. I think that your marketing tactics are very friendly and you actually look out for your customers.
While it seems the current trend to ignore customers, I like the fact that you don’t and that you tread your business as a long term and organic thing that grows, instead of being product after product.
I think that makes you a “better” marketer, but maybe not as profitable as you could be if you treated people like dirt.
You make my life better, that’s an easy answer. I would never have got my PLR store up and running and I wouldn’t have had even written very much PLR is it wasn’t for your 30 day PLR challenge. I wrote just under 20 packs during your 30 day challenge aand I have continued to get sales on those packs even over the last week. I wouldn’t have done that if it wasn’t for your kick up the ass to get me going.
I see you as mainly being a PLR provider, a writer and as a person that has a great community of ethical, like-minded followers.
I suppose that you are also a great affiliate marketer with high conversion rates but that’s something that’s not seen as much, I suppose.
PS. I like that your products are actually business ideas and ways to hello your business. I like the fact that they don’t resort to questionable tactics and that they are business ideas and tactics that people can actually use. You give a great basis on which to build a business instead of all those “get cash in your PayPal account tonight” tactics that are a real turn off.
Thanks Tiff!
Hey Nathan! Honey’s a given isn’t she? LOL
1. I like your approachability. You don’t make newcomers feel stupid. You are hugely encouraging and kind. I love your output (ie your productivity).
I don’t like too much info about the people who put you down, though this is a tough one because when you share stuff it increases the trust factor for me. The downside of it is that it can make you look like a victim.
2. I trust you a lot. I never feel that you’ve recommended something just so you can make an affiliate sale.
3. She’s an internet marketer with unusual integrity whose core expertise is in writing and PLR.
4. PLR and internet marketing expertise
5. I would rather be mentored by you than anyone else I can think of (regardless of how much more money some of them might be making).
6. Stop asking crazy questions, girl!
Marion x
Yes Marion maybe there’s just a better way to handle #1 for me
Thinking about it! I got these questions from one of my branding books – very eye opening for me!
1)I don’t have any dislikes about you or your business Tiff . To me you have always been not just a supplier of quality products but also a total straight shooter who leads by example and shows us how to do things. I like that you are accessible to your customers/family and your work ethic is really an example to aspire to.
2)No trust issues here. Trust you totally.
3)Total straight shooter. Someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to creating a successful online business and someone who really has their customers best interests at heart.
4)Initially Tiff I saw you as a supplier of quality plr content and products that would help us use that content to make money online. These days I see you much more as a coach/mentor. Someone who is accessible and leads by example. I won’t call you a guru because I don’t want to offend you
but you are moving into that area as far as I am concerned and away from simply being a product supplier. As much as anything you offer accessibility that is as very rare these days.
5)I think you are a one off really. You’re in a one horse race as far as I am concerned. You are the antithesis of a lot of the other marketers I have followed and no longer do. There is only one other marketer that I open every email from and as much as I respect them I can’t imagine them setting up an “angel fund” ‘nough said
6)Definitely for the better. You’re a walking, talking, breathing example of what being yourself and genuinely caring about others can do, not just for your own (well earned) success but for anyone who cares to learn from you. This example goes way beyond helping us making money online, so thank you for that.
I like that! The antithesis – I may steal that somewhere lol
I’ll bite. I’m a newbie to the blog, but I did go through and read through a bunch of your old posts when I found you.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like that you’re “real.” You talk to us on video from your couch like an actual person, not from some hoity-toity office on high somewhere.
I actually don’t have a problem with the cursing (I worked in bars for years and I have a mouth like a sailor myself) but I understand that it does offend people.
However, sometimes I think you go a little too far using your blog to respond to people who offend you. I’ve learned this the hard way, but it’s a lot classier to just let stuff go and not waste YOUR valuable energy on getting upset.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust your advice on stuff like PLR because you actually DO it.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
This lady who runs a PLR store and gives people helpful advice about selling PLR and Internet marketing.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Probably PLR for people who buy that and good advice for the rest of us!
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I’m kind of new to the internet marketing world, so you’re the only internet marketer I’m familiar with.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Reading your blog tends to brighten my day and make me feel more positive (except when you’re “going off” on someone
)
Hey Jessica! I worked in a bar too so I know what you mean
I hear ya on the last sentence
Oh I forgot one more thing I like. That you actually take the time to respond to ALL of the comments that you get on your blog entries. I think that really says a lot about how much you value your readers. Ok, now I’m done!
Thanks Jessica! I read everything.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your honesty, and easy going demeanor.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust your opinion, and your recommendations.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Great resource for PLR, Ghostwriting (when available) and provides quality content on how to develop a long term business online.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR, Ghostwriting, plus How to guides on those subjects.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
For me you’re on the top of the start…When I see you emails I skip straight to them. Because I know there will be quality content inside and not some affiliate link selling me the latest “make money trick”.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better.
Thank you Chris
Here goes…
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
Really like that you base your products on your own actual struggles as you strive to rise ever upward. Ghostwritng, PLR, Squidoo and all the other stuff are all what you actually have DONE, ‘Honest Tiff’.
Dislike? Well, difficult to think, but this does make me cringe – why are you so productive? Rain, hail or shine, ill or well, life in general – nothing halts your stream of products pouring out non-stop. Gives me a horrible inferiority-cum-guilt complex for getting almost nothing done in the same time span.
Another thing – over-emotional reactions. Points to lack of clarity.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Trust you to give your honest opinion based on experience, not hype. I may or may not agree with it, but always appreciate it.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
‘Honest Tiff’ – markets from the heart. Always gives the best of herself.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Invaluable advice, support and follow-up, caring and sharing.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You’ve created your own unique category – nobody comes even close in the kind of DAILY time, energy and information that you share.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Better and better – open my email every day hoping there’s a missive from you – and there usually is!
Hey Mekhola! Thank you for telling me what you like and dislike
I appreciate it!
Dear Tiff,
Here is my answers, as you asked:
I.) Like (much more than the opposite): ALWAYS sincerity; plain speaking; acting up to your convictions; honesty; perseverance; helpfulness; generosity.
Dislike: SOMETIMES easily offended and sulky; rough spoken (fortunately not in products); gabbling and using slang a lot (in videos). Beeing an European, the latter is often a problem for me, so I prefer to read.:)
Note: I know that tremendous circumstances have impact on our behaviour everyday. It is hard to find our balance occassionally. But… we need to work towards it. I even succed in that sometimes.;)
2.) Trust: what you say, and what you do (but not blindly.;) I mean, you didn’t given a reason so far not to trust you.
But… having my own experience, I see things differently occassionally. Sometimes you are right, sometimes me. But I can live with that.
3.) Tiffany Dow is an outstanding lady. She’s a community building businesswoman, who conducts her business ethically.
Since she is doing extensive research, the quality of her PLR products and IM advices speak for themselves. She prefers quality to quantity.
The relationship with her audience is excellent, and she doesn’t deal with the beginners high-minded way.
One more thing: I don’t see the dollar signs in her eyes, unlike any others. Besides, she does loving care for her family.
4.) Your PLR products and your HELPING HAND.
5.) In general: you are as rare as a white crow – as a saying goes in our country. Why? See above.
6.) Tiff, you can not do my life better, or worse. I have to do it. Of course, your activity and personality have impacts on me, and not in bad sense.;)
Conclusion: I would like such a friend.
Take care,
Sandor
Hey Sandor! Thank you my friend! I appreciate you being honest with me
And you ARE my friend…
Tiff, where did you stuff that ‘holier than thou’ attitude then? Haven’t seen any such tendencies in any of your writing or performance since I began following you.
I thought about your query before reading other people’s answers, and can’t help wonder if you’re changing route purposely or lost your track. You get responses both from your blog and e-mail and elsewhere. Enough to have a good sense of what people feel about you and your business.
1. You’re down to earth, fun, careful, considerate and honest. Particularly your way of thinking is thrilling. You don’t seem to suffer from habitual thinking. Searching and considering new perspectives makes you grow. That’s what I want to learn as well as how to find ambition and energy which you share a lot. Your business is you so it’s no different.
Maybe it’s a branding issue. But with your lack of habitual thinking you’re in pursue of that already. Teaching us again.
2. Thrust for me is more a question of intuition. Initially I put little trust in everyone. Just a grain to see if it grows or dies. Everyone have to earn my trust. My intuition tells me you’re trustworthy. In an instance you have gained a higher lever of trust than many, and this is only online.
3. Tiffany is a fantastic, energizing texas woman with characteristics of which some I lack. I would like to learn those I lack and grow those that are weak to become a better person, and have found her to be a fascinating teacher.
4. This one wasn’t clear to me until I had to ponder it. Maybe it was lack of coffee. First of all you have a wide variety of eucational products developed with concern and scrutiny. For secondly I was actually locked into the classic way of thinking about services. When I began writing this answer it struck me that it doesn’t feel like something you provide as a service. You provide a living guide to those that need it. Like an Angel.
5. Ha! Compare you say. Wow. I haven’t spent much time with other IM’ers. Although a lot have seen my name on their lists for a short time I’m no longer there. The grain fell through their cracks. I see a beatiful woman standing tall in the mud where everyone else is crawling around fighting about disappearing spots in the filth. Tiffany is lifting her followers above it being the one she is.
6. Shees… You know that my life is changing, to the better. It does. All the time. My friends tell me I seem happier, more energized and that I’ve become more focused on living. I was laid off. Being unemployed usually devastates people but I’m happy for it as I’m forced to take action. I wouldn’t have come across you if it wasn’t for loosing that chain, and my book wouldn’t be very close to proofreading either. That’s a huge change to the better.
Now I’ll read the other answers.
Hey Agneta! I may have had the holier than thou ‘tude when I was doing reviews but I’ll ‘splain that in today’s video. Okay as a wordsmith I know you’re giggle with me when you read your typo on #2. LOL! The fact that #4 wasn’t clear to you (AND that everyone has given different answers) means I need branding. LOL!
Aw… I hate it when that happens!
Stumbling on basics.
Never edit while writing! lol
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the fact that you are direct & to the point without having to read through piles of blah.
Sorry Tiff, I dislike the rants. Sometimes if someone has upset you, this can go on for days.
It may be off putting for someone who has just discovered your site too.
Yes, it’s good to vent the spleen, give someone a quick boot up the bum…but then let it go.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you because you are real, you are honest.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would say a straight up tough talking lady who isn’t going to try to molly coddle you or tell you that you are going to earn heaps of dough by pressing this button.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Excellent PLR with a blog that is always going to keep you thinking.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I’ve only ever subscribed to one other marketer and they got the boot long ago because I was tired of the continual BUY THIS emails.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Have to say for the better. I do get some ideas from you (though I have acted on them yet!).
You don’t have to apologize Jen – I want to hear what you dislike!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your honesty and both like and dislike your directness. I find your directness quite confronting but I admire you for saying what you feel. I tend to think it, rather than say it – my Gran used to say “You can be hung for what you say, not what you think”
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you to give your honest opinion and not to lie just to make a quick buck. I trust that you truly care for your list.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
An honest and succesful internet marketer telling us like it is, giving encouragement and support and providing a service.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR, indirect mentoring and motivator
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I don’t “know” any other marketers as I don’t think that any of the others open up about who they are. They tell us how they went from rags to riches, but not who and what they are now.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For the better
The best motivator and encourager to get me to move from going round in circles to working towards having a goal and getting on track and DOING something !!
Thank you Tamsin! And yes my Honey Badger mode makes some people uncomfortable
All my answers can be summed up by this: I don’t trust anyone that comes from and actively participates on the Warrior Forum.
You get most of your business by having a big presence there and getting people to follow you from that forum. Anyone who builds their business from the Warrior Forum (which is the absolute WORST place for any newbie) will never be trusted in my book.
Show my that you can get traffic on your own without pimping that forum and it might be different.
Sorry but that is the way I feel.
Hey Jalielle! Actually, you’re wrong – most of my business does NOT come from there. It comes from search engines and recommendations
You’re welcome to your opinion of course, but I have had a wonderful experience in WF. One person gave me the idea to teach the Squidoo platform before anyone else. I met Craig Desorcy there. I’m never one to paint all people from one group with one broad brushtroke – so all I can say is you’re really missing out!
1. I like that you seem to be honest and that you dare saying your opinion about things. I think that you should stop arguing with idiots, but it’s not something I really dislike about you. I just think you’re wasting your time and risk getting health problems later
2. I trust your opinion. There’s nothing I distrust about you.
3. Before reading these questions, I was reading your first PDF in the branding course and laughed out loud. I told my husband that “oh, people have really been nasty to Tiffany Dow”, and he said: “who?” And I said: “Tiffany Dow – the woman that writes PLR”, and then he knew. He’s noticed your flashy lipstick, so I could also have mentioned that
4. Maing thing: Writing.
5. You have much more personality than many marketers. And you don’t just follow the herd and promote stuff to make money.
6. You affect me to the better. You inspire me.
lol Well they did make fun of my “cake-up” as they called it, too. I think the reason I wear lots of make up is that I was a Princess Borghese makeup rep in my youth (19ish?) and they had us pile it on – I also modeled for my teen years a bit so I was taught heavier make-up. I’ll be one of these in my old age: http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRS2beRJyOxYmU1PglUvAU7JJlDTxD2GCgya79rCmcCKTaMnY6B LOL!
1.What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I love that you are open, honest, kind, passionate, family oriented. I bet not too many people know of that third cat that you rescued from death row! You give a great deal to others in time and energy and started the Angel Fund to help those in need. I have learned so much from your Squidoo ebooks and other ebooks, benefited greatly from you generosity when you had the $1 sale and I learn much from your emails, posts, and other follower’s comments. I also like the way that you have an open mind to all learning and are not afraid to go off in a new direction if it feels right, even though some of your follower get cheesed off, but have to change and grow, that’s what life is all about.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
There is nothing I don’t trust about you Tiff, I bought the APP after you had reviewed a couple of chapters and it was fabulous. I read all of your emails and posts even if I don’t always comment on them! The email that you sent us back in July because you thought it was so important with the words “If you’re lucky enough to do well, and rise to the top, then it’s your responsibility to send the elevator back down for someone else”, says it all and you live by that philosophy. (Yes I have a folder for my Tiff emails!)
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would say you are a Mum, a good friend and an awesome successful Internet marketer and teacher.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Help, support, a shoulder, courses, PLR, information and a great forum.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You are up there with the best. You give so much help to so many people, you keep us uplifted and don’t spam us with all those great products from your new FB!! Plus you products are totally awesome and of the highest quality, I have never been disappointed with either your own products or any of your recommendations.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Absolutely for the better! I have mentioned your name often although people only know you as “that lady that I follow in the U.S.!”
LOL Jan did you know Alexa says aside from the US, my biggest following is in Australia? I’ll have to visit there one day
Well that’s pretty amazing, for sure we will have to catch up with all your Aussie friends when you do visit
Honest, decent, knowledgeable.
That’s how I’d sum up my image of you in 3 words.
Right now I’m not following much of your detailed advice ,as I’m laser focused on publishing and marketing an ebook. So I can’t really answer your detailed questions.
I still like hearing from you because I see you as having the qualities stated above.
The word ‘guru’ originally denoted a spiritual teacher.
When I was young and foolish, as opposed to older and foolish, I had a guru, in the original sense of the word. Believe me, it’s absolutely essential that this type of guru should be, among other things, honest, decent and knowledgeable.
Don’t you think it’s ironical that internet ‘gurus’ are often – and let’s be charitable about this – a tad flakey?
If being holier than thou is how someone perceives you, then so be it! I call it demonstrating integrity.
Amongst internet gurus ,you are a pearl amongst the dross. Or that’s the image I have of you!
Thanks John! That’s very kind
Hey tiff,
I’ve answered the questions you were asking about. I read over it and it looks a lot. True to being me, I type it all out and then think it’s garbage and don’t bother posting. For a change though, I’m just gonna let ya have a look at it and see for yourself. Apologies for the length.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I can take your word on whether something works or not. I came to you with a question regarding a marketer, whos course I was following. Your reply was you stand behind the training offered and not the individuals behind the training. Which makes sense. People might be able to teach and do a great job but sometimes…can stray in a different direction when a JV deal comes along. Something you don’t do. With that said when it comes to your own products you have a whole different level of customer service. You stand behind them and are there for any questions without hiding behind a support desk. You get to know your customers on a personal level.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I think your review status is jeopardized. Too many folks know the reach you have and the trust you have with your audience. It makes it easy for product owners to give you special treatment in order to promote their stuff. So I’m getting weary of any products you review. If you still do that.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A PLR seller and a damn good one. A fan of the warrior forum, ex ghostwriter and doing your best to follow in the steps of your mentor, Craig Descorcy and you are a mentor like Craig was to you to a lot of folks online.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR. BUT…to me you’re as close to a personal coach/mentor who doesn’t charge a fortune. Or AT ALL for that matter. I know you don’t offer that service as paid but your blog posts bring enough advice to the table to help folks out. Which is why I look up to you as someone who walks the walk and knows a thing or 2 about IM. Not saying you know everything, don’t wannna blow your ego and all that
seriously though, Just by checking in on your blog here, there’s a ton of lessons folks can learn and you don’t steer folks in the wrong direction either.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I’m a member of Wealthy Affiliate. The owners in there were the only folks I had come across who only promote WA to their lists. No weekly affiliated emails. That’s what you do too. Only promoting your own stuff and not hitting out affiliate links time and again. The only time you do it’s clear it’s an affiliate link and it’s done through your site and not a direct link. Kyle and Carson are 2 of the guys that taught me a lot when I started out. Then I picked up a lot of other stuff from yourself. Then onto Bring The Fresh. At the stage I’m at… WA taught me about markets, niches, audiences etc. when I first started. Then your stuff, (products and on your blog posts here), taught me about the content creation side of things, plus other ways to make money. Then BTF showed me how to rank well too. So that’s the who of the crowd I rank you up there with. Kyle and Carson, Jay Neill, Kelly Felix and of course, Mike Long. And I would place you top of the list as you are in it to help people and don’t charge for it. The option is there for people to buy your products but customer or not, everyone gets great advice and questions answered if need be.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For the better. I don’t like change though and I know you have some stuff going on that you want to change within your business.
Anyway, that’s those questions answered for ya. Hope it’s all good. Can you do me a favor though. I don’t do social media, like facebook fanpages etc which is why I didn’t sign up for your branding challenge. When you get things underway can you update your site to let us know the direction you are taking. I would like to be able to keep up with you on your blog and worried that you’ll take off with the Facebook raves and start needing likes or whatever to access some of your content. YOu know the way some folks have protected pages and you have to hit a like button or join a fan group in order to get access.
Anyways, best of luck with it all. You’re doing great.
Robbie
Robbie there’s no such thing as too long. Glad you shared as is
I quit reviewing – not for that reason but I did anyway LOL! My business isn’t going to “change” much – but it’s the brandig of it that will be done better with more focus on stuff that helps most. And no I will NEVER be that kind of FB fan page person – ugh I hate those!!
Thanks for your feedback
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? I don’t know you that personally but what I really like about you is your honesty, your empathy, your professionalism, the way you like to look on the positive side of things.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you implicitly – until you break that trust – you’ve earned it.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? I tell them that you’re a savvy, honest marketer. And that they can feel 100% comfortable buying any of your products or doing business with you in any way.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? I feel your personal touch – the fact you answer your emails, blog posts with real answers shows you care about your customers.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? I can’t – because I don’t really know other marketers.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? The better. You are a fabulous role model and I hope you continue to be that after this branding challenge.
Lee Ann
Hey Lee Ann! Thanks for all of that – made me feel great!
Hi Tiff. I have only one answer to all your questions and it’s this:-
I sum you up totally as someone who DOES right beause it IS right, whether it’s convenient or not. It’s the only way to be.
Every Blessing
Margaret.
Thank you Margaret!
1. I like what you do and appreciate your honesty.
2. I trust you completely.
3. A good person who helps friends out a lot. And
you help us avoid many mistakes you have been
through in marketing.
4. That you show us it’s (online writing)isn’t as
difficult as we think.
5. I think you are overall a good teacher and
your mentor, Craig has in the past noticed
that about you. I think you have picked a
very good role model for yourself and us. You
and he are caring givers to your followers.
6. Great idea the students become the teacher!
Thank you Darryl!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I appreciate the honesty as well as the good quality products. Your good natured posts with a personal edge are welcome.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you will provide the best information you can and that your motives are sound. Nobody is right about 100% of everything, but you seem to do your best everytime!
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
An honest internet marketer, from whom I have learned a lot.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR products, and education on many types of internet marketing strategies
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You are about one of *maybe* three marketers I subscribe to and actively follow.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Better. Even though I am not there yet in terms of the marketing, it’s a matter of me not applying the information (time and a lot of other factors are an issue at the moment).
Thanks! Chris…
Thank you Chris! I like the fact that you know I’ll do my best
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like that you produce outstanding quality products in your business, and take pride in that.
I like that you are multifaceted in your interests, expertise, and niches, so you are constantly learning brand new information and techniques, and sharing what you learn freely.
If you were just the Twitter Expert, or Squidoo Queen, etc. you knowledge base and your range of products would be much too limited!
I like that you are a trustworthy person, and marketer.
I like that you have a Honey Badger side to you, even if it is sometimes a bit of a knee-jerk reaction that could have benefited from a 24 hour cooling off period before you let it rip.
And I have never read or heard you say anything potty mouth enough to make me blink, but then I regularly make the paint blister on my office walls when I ‘lose it’ so maybe I’m no judge on this cussin’ issue.
I like that you get excited about new stuff and head off to just ‘have a go’ at it, and if it doesn’t always work out, to see that you pick yourself up and dust yourself off. It is confidence building in others who are too afraid to ever even get started on unfamiliar stuff.
I like Tiffany Dow – she’s a good person.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I absolutely trust your intent at all times.
You are as anal as I am about integrity and nit-picky pernickety about sticking to your ethics. DO NO EVIL! … and don’t drop the motto like some (who shall remain unnamed) organizations did.
Sometimes you are just learning as you go, so we always need to be aware that there is no guarantee of success in everything you start to tell us about, and sometimes you don’t finish what you start, so that can leave people following in your steps a bit high and dry.
I trust you to call it as you see it.
What you think about a product or seller may change over time for some reason, but you don’t fudge the truth at any point along the way.
I like your total transparency.
I like that you share your income updates, so that we can follow along and see that it’s not just one-hit-wonders, but quite consistent income. *It’s real!* And that you are hammering us about things like getting PLR affiliates as it as skyrocketed your income etc. You share what works for you, instead of hiding it you want us all to get the same benefit.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Tiff first taught me in her book how to make Squidoo lenses, and how to sell them, and I made a ton of money following her How-To guide.
Then I learned about her PLR and started buying that for my sites and lenses.
Apart from creating the best quality PLR products online, what Tiff really does online and in her publications is TEACH me about how to do things I didn’t know how to get started on, or how to set them up.
Tiffany teaches you how to create a profitable online business, with total integrity and no BH bs that only gets newbies in trouble.
For years now Tiff has been making over $400 every day of the week, whether she works or not, and she is committed to teaching online entrepreneurs how to achieve their business goals too.
If you don’t have any money to start your business with now, here are two of her free ebook manuals for affiliate marketing online products (52 Squidoo Amazon + Amazon niches). Follow the how-to steps and over the next few months you will make some seed money without spending a cent, all you have to do is invest the effort.
That is just one example of how Tiff ‘pays it forward’ before you even buy a single thing from her.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
1) TEACHING both online and in print, the How-To Tutor….
How to Squidoo, how to publish an ebook Empire, how to ghostwrite, How to start a PLR business, How to earn affiliate income: how to write product reviews + the 52 Amazon + IPK + BTF. And soon “How to publish on Amazon” *hint*
2) Absolute top quality PLR niche content, always informative and relevant, and can also be used to teach us what we need to know about any niche, not only used for PLR purposes
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
There are only two people that I trust unconditionally to be honest and be selling only what they truly believe in themselves.
Both of you might be disappointed later on in what you initially raved about, but at the time you totally believed your message.
The first is Dr Ken Evoy from SiteSell SBI who I have trusted since I first bought his MYKS book in 1999 – and have used all his products ever since for my websites etc
—- and the other is Tiffany Dow.
Others I have followed (and in one case paid $5,000 to become one of his Proteges *ugh*) were just a massive disappointment and goo-roo hoo-haa waste of my time and money.
You two are the only emails I am guaranteed to open and check out.
There is NO COMPARISON … you lead the pack.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
I actually *anticipate* your emails every day, and if I don’t get one I go visit the blog to see if you have posted but not emailed yet.
This is because I get motivation, ideas and a sense of community on this blog from you and your readers.
When I’m in the dumps, I believe again that IM or whatever can work again for me.
You affected my life for the better because I now have TWO people I trust to care MORE about my wellbeing and success in using their products, than their own profits from just selling a product.
Your natural approach makes me feel like I’m having a cuppa with a friend as we celebrate or commiserate the latest events in our online businesses etc.
I believe that you actually CARE about your motley crew of readers and customers from around the world, and that is a fundamental key to how you affect our lives for the better.
You Rock Helene – thank you! I so wish we all lived in the same area. How fun would that be?
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
Some of your PLR sucks. Not sure if you are using a Ghost Writer but some of it looks like it came right from Wikipedia. And of coarse, you have some top notch plr!
You worry too much about what others think of you (or your business). STOP it!! Deliver a great product, and forget what others think!
And when people email you with a problem, keep it to yourself. Don’t send it to your list and analyize it!!
And some of your language might scar away potential customers! Not me though, I’m a Vietnam vet – I can take it!!!!
Don’t send email out on Sunday! Should be your day of rest…
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you and like all your ideas about marketing, etc.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A kind and sensitive marketer who really cares about her customers and followers.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR – Just make sure it’s always Top Notch stuff!!
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
On a scale of 1 – 10, I will give you a 9 !! I have unsubscribed from TONS of other lists but still have yours!!
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Neither, you are like dessert, I can take it or leave it.
Hey John! Let me know which PLR you dislike – it’s mine. LOL! Need to spiff something up if it sucks because no one ever tells me that. There’s a reason I share those problems but we’ll cover that today
Thanks for your feedback!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the fact that you actually “show me the money” on different mediums (PayPal, past videos). I really, really like the concept of making money with plr sold inexpensively but frequently.
I haven’t really interacted with you enough to have any dislikes. Okay wait. If I’m not mistaken, I think you were doing a “follow along with your mom” as she makes her first buck or something like that.
I can’t really remember that class going anywhere or me learning anything. Since you’re giving YOUR time (and believe me I’m appreciative Tiffany), why couldn’t (can’t) you have classes in the exact steps it took (step one, step two, etc.) on implementing the project and bringing it to fruition? Sort of like what I’m thinking that you’re doing now.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that what you say or show is absolutely true and heartfelt. From the glimmer of your personality (that you’ve shared so far), I don’t find you to be one of those egotistical blowhards. I have great belief in all of your show and tells.
Again, from what I’ve seen and heard from you Tiffany, there isn’t an umbrella of red flags hanging over your head.
Believe it or not, I also consider Craig Desorcy as my mentor; and I only joined his forum because he exuded confidence and trustworthiness on the Warrior Forum. And here you are… another Craig student who displays the same values.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Tiffany Dow is a no nonsense Internet marketer who has achieved many of her dreams and a great deal of success by knowing when to hold ‘em (her good niches), knowing when to fold ‘em (those not so great niches), and knowing when to walk away (from any and all JV requests that don’t meet her high standards).
“She’s a Honey Badger for doing good business and takes her business very seriously since she depends on it to pay those “deep pocket” medical and tuition bills for her children. She also knows that she can have a bit of fun doing it while keeping her blog readers from taking a nap. If you don’t believe me, just ask Honey… her Chihuahua.”
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Great and affordable PLR.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Judging you against the few I subscribe to, I would say you’re running neck and neck with the best that I’ve had the pleasure of subscribing to. Keep in mind that I’ll read Jim Cockrum, Tony Laidig, Joel Comm, Jim Edwards, and others for completely different information.
I think the one big difference is that they DO have the training I was speaking of earlier but only if you have or are willing to pay exorbitant fees to learn. Sort of like Frank Kern (fine ass man!),Yanik Silver, and Stompernet just to name a few.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Well Tiffany, I have no idea (yet) but I’d say the cards are leaning toward “better”.
Hey Mary Ann! Ah #1 is because she kind of quit for a long time and then just wanted to focus on ghostwriting period. She hasn’t moved out of her comfort zone into marketing, so I can’t teach without a student to do the steps
It was overwhelming for her I think at that time. Thanks for taking the time to share your feelings
I appreciate that!
Instead of a 1, 2, 3 approach to your questions, I’ll just answer with what comes to mind and call it like “I” see it, which may or may not be right, but here goes…
You aren’t as tough as you present yourself to be. You are a tough cookie, however, I believe that much of that tough outer shell is merely to hide the fact that you are overly sensitive. It’s a defense mechanism and one I understand all too well.
A few people have already pointed out the posts you covered about the lady who was not appreciative of your time and the spammer/stalker guy, and they thought you went a bit overboard. Those were good topics that needed to be addressed as educational tools for your followers, but I think just a generalized summary would have been plenty.
I felt sorry for the lady. Maybe she is a jerk and totally ungrateful, or maybe she’s going through something that no one else is aware of. Maybe she’s hiding behind a wall, that she too, has built for herself to hide the pain or hide the sensitivity. Or maybe she’s hormonal and doesn’t have the state of mind to walk away from the computer for a week and let things be.
You never, ever know what another human being is going through until you go through it with them. Your response and those who “cheered” you on in comments, made you all look very small and small minded. I know this is not what you want to present, even in the name of being honest and real. I think she hurt you more than you’d ever admit. It’s just human nature to hide our pain by lashing out. Maybe I’m just too nice sometimes.
As for the stalker guy, yeah, anyone who enters my home uninvited and with ill-intent is most likely leaving in a body bag.
That’s only two incidences and I don’t base my opinion on those two alone, because then I would be small minded, wouldn’t I? And that leads to how much or little I trust you. I don’t trust or not trust you because of those instances, however, I would trust/admire you more if you had said you were hurt or pissed off instead of the way it went.
I don’t trust everything you say, but that’s not because of you, that’s because of me. I take everything with a grain of salt, I scrutinize, analyze, clear the smoke screens, look over, around, under and through the smoke screens until I am satisfied with the “truth” as “I” see it.
Example: You can tell me all day long that the sky is blue. You see blue, you believe it’s blue. However, it’s not blue. It’s all colors of the rainbow, but due to light reflections we “see” mostly blue.
I do trust you enough to follow you, scrutinize and analyze the things you say.
Another thing I like about you is that you use video AND text. I have an old computer, sometimes it doesn’t want to process video, sometimes (most of the time) I’m simply not in the mood to watch video unless it’s music. I prefer to read and move on. I do watch some of them though. I don’t think your brown pillows are that ugly–they look like cozies to pile up and watch movies with.
How do you stack up with other marketers? I don’t see that as overly important. You are you and that alone makes you stand apart from others. It doesn’t make you better or worse. We all need diversity and if people follow only you or only someone else, then they are not getting a big picture in the IM world. Let’s look at two ends of the spectrum, let’s compare you to Melissa Ingold—the Sweetie marketer. I like her, but, she’s a bit too sweet, although she is real and has a good story. You are bold and ballsy, and I like that. One is not better than the other—just different. I follow two others, one is mostly sane and a real hoot, one is nice but a little more on the professional side than the being personal side. It’s through ALL of these personalities that we can find our own path—blaze our own trail of who we’d like to be more like or bring out those aspects of ourselves that we see in the ones we follow.
Do you affect me for better or worse? The verdict is still out on that. I see so much of myself in you that it’s scary. And since we’re being honest, I would have bashed the lady too, just not publicly. When I started freelance writing, all the big guns told me to hide my personality, and I did. Now I feel like Sybil trying to figure out which one I should unleash on the public. LOL. Okay, it’s not that drastic, but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.
We are all multi-faceted personalities. We are rarely ever the exact same day in and day out. I can be nice, loving, sweet, sentimental, funny, goofy, silly, dull, boring, and I can be the biggest bitch you ever met. Finding a balance between all of that, especially in the online public view, can be a challenge.
Bottom line? I’ll keep you around as long as you keep me around. Fair enough?
Hey Patti! Thanks for sharing your insight
I truly was not hurt by D – I was angry, which I conveyed. There was no pain – just annoyance that she had that entitled attitude. Others HAVE hurt me, like the unsubscribes, and I feel I’m honest about that. But the rants do NOT go over well with everyone for sure.
You’re right on that! I like the idea of following lots of people for different perspectives
See too what you said here: “And since we’re being honest, I would have bashed the lady too, just not publicly.” That’s true with so many and it’s what I specifically fight myself about. I will talk about it in today’s post
I appreciate your feedback so much!
Ok here goes!
1)Love your honesty when you’re doing reviews especially if they’re crap or the product owner is unethical e.g. Dan Brock. Criticism and brutal honesty are acceptable and refreshing as it’s ‘just business’. Personally I don’t like it when you single out individuals who have emailed you (good or bad) and use your blog to vent on them – it can come over as being a bit churlish as it’s ‘personal’.
2) I trust that you will never knowingly do one of your subscribers a bad turn and if a product that you have promoted is below par you will personally take responsibility far above what’s expected. You’ve got integrity girl
Personally I find your faith in Allen Says and his infamous Warrior Forum a little worrying because I’ve researched how many people that man has shafted and how the place is full of scammers that he apparently backs! Any company that gives you no way of contacting them for a refund should come under the scrutiny of the FDA – just my 2 cents
3)For me, who you are is a great source, if not the number one source, for PLR and IM reviews.
4) Main product/service – PLR
5) In comparison to other marketers? You’re far more ethical and trustworthy and do what you do well but do not seem to be as knowledgeable about other aspects of niche marketing. For example, you never heard of ScrapeBox which is an everyday tool most marketers use when ranking niche sites and can be used for spamming or used properly, is an awesome tool. Your knowledge appears fairly limited outside the PLR or ghostwriting profession. That’s ok though as it’s far better to be a master of one trade than know a little about everything – a rolling stone gathers no moss!
6) I think in general you better my life (otherwise I’d unsubscribe) I generally find your blog entertaining and relaxing (unless you’re venting on a personal level – I avoid anything that makes me feel bad so I click away!)
In summary, would I trust you? – yes, but I’d think twice before emailing you for help in case it ended up splashed all over your blog. I think you are the very best for PLR and have some fantastic deals but probably wouldn’t look to you for mentoring if I needed to make money online unless I was going to go into the PLR niche, where then you would be the first I’d go to.
I steer clear of the IM niche purely because I’m too thin skinned. People can be totally hateful when all you’re trying to do is help them. You need to grow a concrete overcoat and brush those people off. Taking everything to heart and airing it publicly can sometimes make you look unprofessional – which is not the case.
I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years so I’ve seen many posts however, if I’d subscribed more recently and seen the more critical ones of misguided people biting you when you’re trying to feed them I may have unsubscribed. I’ve seen the other side of Tiffany, the kind and patient one and like her
Hope you take all that constructively and not an attack as that is how it’s meant.
Got my tin hat on now
Hey Nicola! I’m part of Warrior Forum and I’m not a scumbag. So is Craig Desorcy. So is Ruth. There are many GOOD people there so I never discount an entire forum
And you’re right – I don’t dig too deep into specific niche tools like I used to. I have never found many I like. Just a difference in how I do business
IE: I like WP Robot but only for the amazon module. Persnickety
I don’t take it as mean at all Nicola
I am addressing all of that kind of stuff in today’s vlog/blog
Alright Tiff you asked for it so here goes…
1. I like the fact that you are you period. With a lot of other marketers one day they tell you never buy traffic, and then a week later you get an email promoting this hot new twitter link buy. Hmmm, isn’t that buying traffic? With you I get the same message, or if the message changes I at least get a good reason for the change. So, I know you’re not just out to take my money. It’s like I’ve told many of my offline friends, if you want to get into making money online check out Tiffany Dow. She’s real, and she cares.
2. I trust you because of your honesty. If I ask advice from you I know not only will I get it, but I will get HONEST advice. If my product is a ripoff, I feel you will tell me. First, it’s uncommon to hear back from anyone at all, let alone hear back from someone helping you with honest feedback.
3. That you are an online marketing coach that will be honest with information and not try to rip folks off. You are an overall nice person who actually seems to care about whether people succeed or fail. And I that I believe you have a mentality similar to mine being that you will go WAY out of your way to help folks who are honestly trying to help themselves, but you don’t want to waste your time with those who aren’t willing to work for it themselves.
4. I think your main offer in the past, and when I first found you, was PLR, and ghostwriting services. Now, I truly believe that what you offer is truthful, honest, and direct ways to build an online business for those of us who don’t have a fortune to start it. You take us by the hand and show us ways to sell services, then teach us how to reinvest that money into new ventures to make much larger pay with much less time.
5. WAY ABOVE THE PACK OF ALMOST ALL OF THEM. While there are a few honest marketers left out there many of them won’t respond to you at all if you need a question asked, even if you spent $500 on their product. With you, if I have a question, I know it will get answered, and answered honestly.
6. Tiff, you honestly have no clue how much you have affected my life. When I first purchased PLR ATM from you, and first contacted you, I was truly ready to throw in the towel on online marketing, or making money online as a whole. I had spent well over $2000 that I didn’t have on BS products that never made me any money. Now, since meeting you while I still haven’t got the money together to do my PLR work, I have earned some money online. I have hope, and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel again. I feel as though I have fallen into a true online family here, and believe it or not, it’s very very precious to me.
Well, there ya go. I hope that this is helpful to you. Now, I’m off to do some Anatomy work so that I have the time to work on the first branding challenge later this evening. Thanks again for wanting my feedback in the first place!
Hey Anthony! I did ask and I appreciate the feedback
So glad you feel the family community here
It’s precious to me too.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? I like that you have built a community and really seem to care for people and their success. I like that you won’t promote products that just don’t work. I like that your interactions with people aren’t always driven by the need to sell them something. I wish I could give you a negative but I don’t have any.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you’ll never sell or promote something that you don’t believe in ..just to make a sale
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would say that you are a leading internet marketer who sells and promotes PLR and other products/services. I would also say that you are “real” and trustworthy.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR and good advice to new marketers.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You are really #1 in my book because of your sincerity. I get all of these emails fromother marketers saying they want to “help” me and I can always see through to the sales ploy. But I think what sets you apart is that you’re building a community of people where there’s genuine care back and forth between us. Selling is of course apart of it but there are other interactions that are more about learning about people, helping them etc. You’re just very genuine and nice.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better. You give me hope that internet marketing can be a good thing and internet marketers don’t have to be sleezy.
Hey Sandy! There really is – look at the people helping each other here. I love that!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the no nonsense attitude – I look forward to your daily emails! Not so keen on the rants but others have covered that and I appreciate that you might have other reasons for them anyway.
I like the way you don’t charge a fortune for your products so that it’s available to most people. Love the Angel Fund! I really appreciate your generosity and honesty.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you will give good advice that I can believe and that will work (if I put in the work!!).
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A PLR writer (but I’m relatively new to your blog so I’m still learning what you offer) who is branching out to share knowledge and learning in an accessible and friendly way…
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR, internet marketing.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Much better! I’ve unsubscribed from most lists and your emails are one of the only ones I look forward to receiving – honest and direct. You’re your own person which is a breath of fresh air.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
For the better – just got to put all the advice and knowledge into practice
Hey Karen! Thanks for letting me know about #1
I’m talking about that today!
Tiff,
So good and brave of you to ask. And smart.
1) Since I first came across you through one of Nicole Dean’s recommendations, my overall feeling every time I read your blog, email or products is: “I love Tiff.” You are the only one that gets that reaction from me. You have a way of being friends right from the start. The stuff you say is not pretentious, but real stuff. The good person you are communicates over and above any product you are currently talking about. It’s like a lifeline for me sometimes.
About your biz, I like that what you offer is stuff that can actually be done. It’s what you really did vs. what you are trying to sell. So, it makes sense and stands the test of time.
I don’t have a dislike as such. I do skim over the stuff that doesn’t relate to where I am in business right now because everything takes time, so have to focus. But I am always with you and that’s not going anywhere.
2) I do trust you because you are honest and not just when it’s safe or convenient. You don’t just paint the picture you want us to see so we will buy. You give the good and the bad. I know it’s honest so I never have to question if I can trust, but only if the service or product is right for me, right now in my business. Some stuff I may come back to later if I don’t need it right now.
3)Tiff used to be a ghostwriter to internet marketing gurus. But, all on her own she became really good at Internet Marketing and she helps others succeed. She has products that take you from step one all the way through and it’s how she did it, so it’s real and something that can be done. I’ve seen more of her audience state that they have been successful using her services/products that I’ve heard with any other marketer. She’s married with 2 kids, an adorable dog that’s on a lot of her videos. She’s very open and just tells it like it is.
4) Tiff’s product is PLR. She has a store. Also, services, such as How To products and will personally answer questions to help you learn to ghostwrite and then build your own PLR biz, if that’s what you want.
5) You definitely affect my life for the better. You give me “hope”. I have not made money online yet. But, when I get discouraged you are the one I go to.
This is mainly because everything you offer is as normal as learning to bake cookies. It’s just something everyone can do. With others programs they get over my head rapidly and make me feel that since I’m not expert I’m in trouble.
But then I see how you still do stuff, trying it out, making mistakes yet overall succeeding. Then, I know I can do it.
I just told my husband, I really want to be able to do more of what Tiff does with her audience. I feel like we are friends even though I’ve never seen her in person.
If I showed up for dinner one day, I’d feel like I know her and just start chatting away like with any girlfriend. That is very special.
Whether I do it or not, I know that if I ever had a marketing question or needed some help or direction that I just couldn’t get elsewhere: I could ask you and you would do your best to help.
Debbie
Hey Debbie! Thank you – I feel such kinship with you guys.
Hi Tiffany!
I bought your course yesterday after spending 2 days checking the reviews! Couldn’t find anything bad! I got the course, saw the potential, the way it is done is great, easy to apply ( well I hope)! And to tell you the truth, what convinced me was not the course itself, it was the video. It shines through that you are a very honest person and know what you are doing! I do like your personality and you do seem to have lots of integrity! Now for the rest:
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
Just bought it but I like the videos and the ebook! Straight to the point.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
After 2 days of searching for reviews (which to me is essential..the internet is a land of stealers and scammers lol) I could only find positive reviews. So far, I trust you entirely. I believe you can show me how to develop a business. What would be displeasing though would be getting 2 promotional emails everyday regarding other products…I just hope this is not you? lol??? I get easily distracted and today I unsubscribed from all the shiny things I bought and never used just to concentrate on this project!
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Someone you can trust! A good teacher! I don’t know you personally of course but once again the short introduction makes me think that you are fun and yet professional which is rare in this world of internet marketing.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
How to run a PLR business effectively but also some very useful directions which I am convinced can be used in different other areas.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Unique! It takes a long time to find the right people but If I may say so I would “rate” ( I hate this word sorry) you as high as Bill Platt, Alexa Smith from Warrior Forum, Yaro Starak, Myob! All the good guys and the good girls!
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
At the moment for the better! I have decided to focus on PLR! Had been on my mind but didn’t know who to trust, start with! There we go, I have you now! So, definitely for the better!
Have a great day Tiffany! Thanks again for your great product at such a reasonable price! Blessings
Yoan
Hey Yoan! No promo emails isn’t my style
Never has been so no worries there! Welcome tot he community here too
Hi Tiffany,
1. What I like about you is that you are so refreshingly honest! Your PDFs from the branding challenge are something like I’ve never seen before – I really feel like I’ve discovered something here and really feel privileged to be part of your branding challenge: it is exactly what I need to do right now, and you seem to be exactly the right person to be doing it with!
2. What I trust about you is that at this point I can’t imagine anything that you would be dishonest about. I’ve read enough of your blog in other publications to make me think that I will always be hearing from you as a straight shooter sort of person.
3. If someone asked me who you were out say that you are this cool lady who lives in Texas who has a PLR company and is doing this incredible branding challenge!
4. Main thing I think you offer is PLR material.
5. I don’t like comparing you to other marketers at least not at this point, but if I had to, I’d put you right up at the top-and one of the amazing things is that this has happened rather quickly!
6. I believe that you are affecting my life very much for the better: if I wasn’t taking action on what you are saying, then it wouldn’t be making any difference. But, I am paying attention and am taking action, and it is having a tremendous positive difference in my life – thank you!
SO glad you feel that way Matthew!
Hi Tiffany,
I have only been on your list for about a month. However, I’ve been online for about six years now, starting with a martial arts website that I converted to a blog.
I’ve talked to a lot of the IM’s out there and I’ve purchased a lot of products.
Most IM’s are full of you know what. I cannot include you in that list and I am really good at reading people, having worked in high profile security for 25 years prior.
No matter what you say or do, there are gonna be haters. Even Jimmy Brown has haters and the only thing that ever bothered me about Jimmy was too much talk about his religion but there’s no getting around it because its his main focus in life.
I bought Ghostwriting which I loved and will pick up the Atm course shortly.
To sum it up, I think you are one of the best and I wouldn’t change how you do things. I expect to continue to learn and see new great products from you.
Regards,
James
Hey James! Thank you so much
So here are my questions for you:
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
??? Well I can’t really specify other than you are you — and that’s a good thing.
The only thing I dislike about your business is your lack of branding of your own PLR. When I open the zip file, there are the articles, but no rights file or “For more PLR look at http://plrminimart.com“.
Just name a file “PLR rights.txt”, “RR Rights.Txt” etc and add the appropriate one to each of the packages you zip. It takes a lot less time than emailing me wondering why I am doing something wrong with your product by mistake.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I think you are honest and sincere, even in those rare occasions I think you are wrong.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
One of the more trusted PLR creators I know.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR articles and books – Some ghostwriting
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Your writing quality is among the best. However, when it comes to producing ebook PLR, you don’t skimp out of including graphics and sales letters. (That being said, I recognize that buyers should provide new ones before publishing, but some buyers already have a list. Some of those will quickly setup the page and make a few sales to their list before making the more personal changes to the products.)
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better. (except for those times you have those incredible sales where I can stock up for pennies even before I am ready to use them
I appreciate you being as blunt as possible. It’s the language I speak best
Yes, you do. Sometimes you even end up with a couple of toes in your mouth. When you do, you let us know that too. LOL.
Tiff
Buck
Hey Buck! I might have to change #1 because that bugs others too. Did I email you about doing something wrong? LOL! I don’t recall doing that if I did
Or are you meaning IF that happened? Funny a few others had similar opinions on #2. I do put foot in mouth too! LOL
1.I like the fact that you are one of a very small (or at least it seems to me) group of Internet marketers who is, without question, scrupulous and sincere. You support the success of your customers and others, as long as they’re honest and sincere, too.
Sure, you have products to sell, but you also have wisdom, tips, and advice that you freely share without constantly trying to sell me something. Or, if I’ve bought something from you, you never tell me that it won’t work as well until I also buy this other product. Your products are affordable, and not only do I not see you pressuring people to buy products that cost “just $5000, in three easy payments,” you also don’t say high-pressure things like, “Folks, you can’t afford NOT to get in on this deal!”
2.What do I trust or not trust about you? See above for what I trust about you. “Not trust” is not applicable.
3.I would say that you are a successful Internet marketer who really knows her stuff, who is not threatened by sharing what she knows, and who is one of the few completely ethical ones.
4.I think you have two sides to what you offer. People might say you were a PLR writer and ghostwriter, or, from a different perspective, they might say that your main offering is really a “suite” of products that teach people how to successfully sell their own ghostwriting and PLR, and do affiliate marketing online.
5.How do you stack up? You’re at the very top of the heap! See above. I have unsubscribed to almost all other Internet Marketers’ email lists, because they usually amount to little more than an angle for selling me some super-pricey course, workshop, or product, promising value if I can just cough up a thousand more dollars. Even though I receive an email from you just about every day, I always open and read yours. Besides being enjoyable to read, they are never “empty;” they always offer, or lead to, something of value.
6.You affect my life for better. Although I am getting started with the tiniest of baby steps, I do keep moving forward, and it is definitely because of the knowledge you’ve shared, the example you provide, and your very inspiring energy and manner.
Hey Heidi! Thank you so much! I appreciate it
I didn’t read any comment before answering you to avoid to be influenced by others’ opinions. I can see people love you (I had to scroll down a lot to go to the replay box!…)
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your direct style, I like that you are present (I mean I can see you in photos and by your real name)
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
You speak the language of the Internet beginners and convey trust (talk from your experience and explain things clearly)
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I think a writer?
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
The first Marketing Internet steps… how to make them (it is essential for people like me!)
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
A very personal and direct style
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
for the better, surely
I don’t know if my comments will help you; I just want to encourage you to continue what you are doing…
Hey Ancuta! They do help me very much – all of them do so I can see me through your eyes
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like your honesty and passion and openness. Dislike? Nothing I can think of!
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust you as a person totally. I may not share your judgements or opinions but that’s another thing entirely.
3 PLR expert and all round “good people” kinda person
4 PLR products and teaching
5 Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
In what way? As a person – pretty damn good. As a marketer outside the PLR business model I would not refer to your opinions. To explain – I’m in niche affiliate marketing and I would look to experts such as Andrew hansen, shane melaugh, John Schwartz
Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You build a sense of community here which I love and benefit from. Thank you.
I also love the courage of your asking these questions. You’re awesome Tiffany
Alex
Hey Alex! Someone else felt that way about niche affiliate marketing – definitely not my forte
And I don’t want it to be so we’re okay there. Thanks for sharing with me!
Hi Tiff,
Here are my answers to your questions:
1) I like the way you share your successes and failures with us online. It makes me realize I don’t have to know everything in order to become successful. I sometimes dislike your personal rants, but realize you air them to help us learn stuff!
2) I trust your perception of what is real and what is fake online – and that you own up if you get it wrong.
3) I would say that you are a ‘realist’ online, who tells it like it really is and whose opinion can be trusted.
4) I think your main service is all the online stuff you teach through your blog posts. I have learnt a tremendous amount (tech and non-tech) just thru following your emails and posts daily.
5) I haven’t come across anyone as open and protective of their crew as much as you are.
6) Personally, I always look forward to finding out “what is Tiff up to today?” and enjoy reading your daily stuff, so I would say that you affect my life for the better.
Hope that helps
Olive
Olive you’re not alone on #1 – see today’s blog post
Thank you for your insight!
Just thought I would throw in that I don’t mind your curse words at all! or your rants, at all! In every case they have seemed to be deserved. You go!
Thanks Heather
But it breaks my baby girl’s heart – that breaks mine!
I seem to wait until the end to have the last word.
I have learned more from this blog than I have anywhere else, and it is free.
Bottom line, I cannot stand a phony. You darlin, are the REAL deal. Don’t change a thing. I know when I ask you a question and don’t get the answer I think I should get, it is time for me to stop and think about what I am doing.
Don’t change a thing. That’s the last word.
LOL thanks Bob
Hi Tiffany there is an old saying in christian circles. Do not talk the talk if you can not walk the walk. i would say you walk what you talk and i for one do not mind your straight talk. It is what i need to get me going. So give it to us both barrels and no holding back. i am north country U.K. and we have a saying if we approve of someone they are a good un.
Guess what? you are a good un!
Aww thanks Cyril! That sounds like southern speak too
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I like the fact that you are trust worthy, honest and and open. You tell it to us as it is. You are one of the guru’s who walks the talk.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
You walk the talk, you never tell us to doing something that you have not tried yourself. Also if something goes wrong in your life, and business you do not hide it, you tell us the truth to keep us walking down the same wrong paths
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Your a wife, a daughter, a mother, you love business, you will always go that extra mile to help someone get a foot hold in the world of PLR and IM. You are someone who is not afraid to tell people the truth, even if that truth could effect your business. You are a friend to people in IM
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You are at the top of the pile, you walk the talk.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Always for the better
Hey Andrew! thank you so much! Very kind…
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I love just about everything you do, say or write. I love your giving nature, your openness and honesty. (Although the last time when you got on that girl’s case, I thought it was below you. I felt like you lowered yourself to her level. That was not you. You are WAY better than that!) You truly do take the good with the bad most of the time.
Personally, I don’t like the Honey thing going on. I thought it was cute in the beginning but then I started thinking that it was a little unprofessional for you and your image. Don’t get me wrong! I know that there are people that love Honey love on your blogs. And, I love dogs too and Honey is a cutie. I just don’t think they belong in blog posts–video or written. I guess I would ask myself if I would post a picture of my dog in a blog post when writing an article on (pick a topic)and Honey happened to pop into the room? Just sayin’…
I loved when you opened up the PLRMinimart to everyone for $1. That is going one step beyond what is necessary. It really had an impact on the rest of us as well. Now, because of that gesture, you have the Angel Fund. Pretty incredible if you ask me.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Completely trust everything you say, the products you produce, or the advice you give when I write you a question. I think you have learned everything you know and do from the best–Craig DeSorcy. I can’t say for sure, because I don’t know, but I believe that Craig has had a HUGE influence over the way you decided to market, your ethical conscious and the way you interact with people (of course, you had to have been ethical before Craig but I am talking about your business.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I tell people about you all the time. I tell them about the great personal service you provide, the great products you have delivered, and the great blog posts you put on your blog. I guess I would sum it up this way: “The most knowledgeable, ethical Marketer I know.”
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
You provide quality with everything you offer. Your informational products and blog posts say “Service with a Smile” and you are willing to go that extra mile to help people.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Seriously? Not many compare. I like John Reese, Seth Godin and…can’t think of any more right now. Most of the marketers try to get you to open your wallet and buy their product which does not provide the full lesson or tasks to succeed. They always save that for the NEXT product. You are not like that. You provide everything someone needs to know to do “X.” You don’t leave anything out.
You are personal and let people get to know you. You take the time to answer questions personally (I really haven’t been able to figure out how you crank out as much as you do!) Maybe you can write a course on that. LOL! But, really, you let people in. I know you have told me you are a hermit but I think you let people in all the time with your videos and honesty.
The other thing I like is that you do NOT share your list with other marketers. I have unsubscribed from so many people for that very reason. You get on their list then it is “BTW, my good friend (______) has a great product, blah blah blah” Unsubscribe here I come. You don’t do that and I know I am probably not the only one on your list who appreciates that.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better. Ever since someone introduced you to me about three years ago back on Twitter (with the waving hand avatar) I have liked everything you have done or produced. If you go back and add up all the items I have bought from you I think that says a lot! I have now started my PLR site and put up my first item for sale last Thursday (took me a while). Wow! Would have never done it without you. I get excited thinking about write more and putting more out there to share with everyone.
Your ethical values shine through and as I feel the same way, I really appreciate that.
You willingness to give without take has always been my motto as well.
See there, we are kindred sisters because as you know: “You can take the girl out of Texas but you can’t take Texas out of the girl.” (even though I live in Virginia now!
Love everything about you…don’t change a thing!
Thank you Dianne! Yes Craig influenced me tremendously. I’m a hermit offline. Online, not at all. Thank you so much for accepting me – warts and all
Better late than never, I guess. Finally coming online to check emails.
I’m just going to give you a summary re your questions. I hold you in high regard as to all you have accomplished in life, especially online. You have provided your family, especially your children, with a quality of life and schooling they probably would not have experienced if you had not made the money you have online.
You are honest, above board, trustworthy, and engaging. I would not be following you if I had any problems with who you are and what you represent.
Although I have a like/dislike relationship with the WF, I understand your advice to make ourselves known there.
As far as who you are, I see you as top of the line in selling PLR – creating the PLR Mini Mart and staying with it as long as you have is impressive. Also, I see you as someone who creates products, courses, and challenges that help guide the rest of us to where we want to be.
I would never have a PLR site without PLR ATM and even made a little affiliate money at that.
The only negative were the recent rants, and I just stayed a way a couple of days afterwards, but came back because you offer so much.
Very early this morning I reread the 1st pdf for the branding challenge, then read the second. As I was working through the second, what you were having us do brought tears to my eyes.
I’m not much of a cryer (sp?), but I ended up crying for several minutes as you tugged and pulled out of me who I am and what I want to be to those who will, hopefully, someday follow me.
You have that ability to guide us, lead us, and challenge us to think beyond the obvious. Instead of telling us what to do, you are bringing it out from within. It takes an exceptional person and teacher to be able to lead others like that.
God bless you!
I’m impressed that you opened yourself up to this type of post. Looking forward to the rest of the challenge.
Hey Edie! Awww I’m so glad it touched you – that’s a good thing!
Sorry for the late reply. I am finishing up a contract and running behind.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I really like that you are blunt and straight to the point. If I email a question to you, I can count on the answer being exactly what you mean, and not wonder did she, or didn’t she mean something. I love the way you write, because it is well thought out and easy to follow.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I haven’t found anything yet that I can’t trust about you. As a Texas girl myself, it’s pretty easy to identify with another Texas girl.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
A straight shooting, tell-it-like it is marketer.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
I think the main thing you offer to me specifically is encouragement and a desire to keep going.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
You are in a higher category than most marketers I have dealt with. Your honesty and caring attitude really makes a difference. Actually, come to think of it, you and your mentor Craig are pretty much top of the list as far as I’m concerned.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for better. There have been times in the past two years that I probably would have given up if something on one of your blog posts had not resonated with me. Thank you for that.
Hey Linda! So glad you haven’t given up!
1. What do you like or dislike about me?
Sometimes I agree with you. Sometimes I don’t. But I always believe that you’re offering your honest opinion and your best advice, and that you’re not blowing smoke to make a buck.
I don’t like that you blew me off for our sandwich date at Angelos in July when I was in Texas – after we’ve been talking about it for two years!
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that when you tell me something, it’s something that you believe. Even if I don’t. You and I are miles apart in our socio-political opinions, but that’s what makes the world go ’round. Besides, that’s not why I subscribe to your list.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
One of a handful of honest internet marketers who also works hard to give back by helping others find their way through the maze.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Excellent PLR and instructional programs.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Well, I recently went through all the lists I was subscribed to, and unsubbed from almost all of them. I’m still on yours. Even though I’m moving away from the affiliate marketing model, and don’t use much PLR anymore, I still enjoy your blog and like to hear what you’re up to.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You are an overall positive in my life. Otherwise, I would have unsubbed. Right?
Hey David! Sorry about Angelos
I hope this post is still relevant, Tiff.
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
You’re very blunt and straightforward at times and, as you say, that’s how you think of yourself. I don’t like that sometimes because it passes on negative energy in me but that’s just you.
I love though that you are honest, self-giving, compassionate, creative, kind, clear of what you want, knows your strengths and limitations, determined, not scared to explore new paths (like this branding course), prolific writer, ethical and good-natured.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you deliver as you say. Highly reliable. Nothing in you that I don’t trust.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
Marketer, blogger with a heart
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Quality.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
Your ethics, the quality of your products and services plus connection with your subscribers set you apart from other marketers.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Absolutely for the better. No doubt. Thanks a million!!!
Yes Marge still relevant always
Isn’t it kinda weird that someone can see me as a negative force yet compassionate. LOL! I’m a nut
And you’re not alone in those feelings! Thanks for letting me know
I appreciate your insight!
You’re not a negative force, Tiff. There are just spurts or bursts in your moods (perhaps
that can strike a cord of negative feelings in me, like when you “hammered down” somebody who wasn’t clear or had no clue about her/his plr purchase… Something like that
Overall, you’re great for me. Otherwise, I (and the rest of the gang) wouldn’t be here, right?
Cheers!
Ah gotcha Marge
1. I really like that you tell it like it is. I also like that you share who you are – you are a real person. You admit your shortcomings and your strengths (you should acknowledge your strenghts more often).
I like that I can trust what you say. Even if I don’t agree with all of your viewpoints or opinions, I still trust what you have to say.
What don’t I like?? Hmm…
I actually think you should “sell” more. Selling is not a bad thing (assuming you provide a good, honest product or service). I think that you are the opposite of the “scumbag marketers” that will say or do anything to sell their product. That ruins if for the honest people.
2. See above – definitely trust you.
3. You are a knowledgeable and trust-worthy marketer who knows how to make money online and also teach it to others.
4. Offer PLR – in many forms (selling it and how to do it), along with providing internet marketing advice.
5. Compare you to other marketers – there is no comparison to the hypey marketers that will say anything or do anything. You are one of the few marketers whose emails I will always read.
6. You have definitely affected my life – it has really made a difference seeing a “real” person making money online. I really appreciate seeing how you make your money (and that you share how much). It has really made it “possible” to me and not just some clickbank screenshot. I also appreciate the fact that you are a real person and you show/share that with us (that takes a lot of guts and you should be applauded).
Thanks Tiffany!
Wayne
Hey Wayne! Much appreciated my friend
Oh, I have to mention how grateful I was about your $1 PLR sale. It was so generous of you and to think that you offered it at a time that you (and your daughter) were sick. I’m sure you made a big difference in people’s lives just by that alone.
thanks Marge
Day 1 Response:
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business? I like you well enough to listen to what you have to say as pursue your new branding direction.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me? It’s not a really a matter of trust… you provide your “opinion” or ‘project set” and it is up to me whether to use or modify same.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be? To me, you are an IM entrepreneur who is definitely willing to share a rigorous pursuit of her life’s work.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service? You provide interesting blogs and researched PLR content offered at an affordable price to retain my interest.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up? Since I am new to IM and PLR, I can only state that your “original” approach is refreshing.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse? There must certainly be a “positive” affect or I wouldn’t be here.
Hey RonBell! Thank you for your answers – and glad you ARE here!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
I love the honesty that you provide to your readers. You don’t sugar coat things, and tell people what they need to hear, whether it is something that they will like or not. You also cater to many different people, such as those that can and cannot afford to invest money at start up. You give a variety of options so someone can get started with making money online, no matter their investment abilities or knowledge.
I am trying to think of something that I do not like, and I really cannot think of anything.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you are practicing what you preach, and you know what you are talking about. You are not one of those so called “gurus” that doesn’t even use the techniques they sell to other marketers (read: newbies) just to make a quick buck.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
An internet marketer that you should definitely be listening to and learning from…one that I have been following for at least 2 years now. Get on her list and read every single blog post/email she writes. Pay attention because she is the real deal!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
PLR and general internet marketing advice
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think you are higher up than most other marketers online. In my own personal followings, you are at the top. Since I got serious about my online business and started my PLR store (with PLR ATM of course), I have unsubscribed from almost all lists because I feel that most others are fake or just out to make money. Reading your advice and emails has made it easier for me to spot the marketers that aren’t genuine so that I can stop following them.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely for the better! Following you was probably the best decision I made as far as my online business goes. I have learned so much just from being a subscriber, and your products that I have invested in are top notch and extremely helpful as well.
Hey Kecia! Thank you – so glad I’ve made a positive impact
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
…..and I love your brown pillows!
I like everything about you, your business practices, your honest, forthright approach, the fact that you genuinely care about people, the ones on your list as well as your strong sense of family.I appreciate the fact that you are accessible and always answer emails. I appreciate the things you’ve gone out of your way to do to offer me a helping hand anytime I ask……and sometimes even when I don’t ask
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I trust that you won’t let me down. I feel like you’ve got my back!
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
You’re a person who gives back more than she gets.Someone who isn’t afraid to say she doesn’t know the answer and isn’t afraid to ask for help. Someone who has taught me a lot. A woman who has worked hard and continues to work hard for what she has.Someone who has more hours in a day than the average bear!(so you are a multi tasker!)….and she’s one smart cookie!
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
You’re great at customer service, a natural born teacher but your PLR minimart and other online businesses are your income producers.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think you’re more real, more sincere and certainly more accessible.I read everyone of your emails and I can’t say that about anyone else.I too, appreciate the fact that every email from you doesn’t try to badger me into buying the latest whiz bang gizmo or the hottest upline, downline, etc.In that regard, I think you remain true to yourself where many marketers fail.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
You have had and continue to have a very positive impact on my life……and your mouth is pretty tame compared to what mine can be!
Glad someone loves my brow pillows! LOL
……………and I have to say thank you for all of the above and for just being who you are!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
You seem fairly open regarding your business tactics and ideas. I definitely appreciate that. I do wish you did more tutorials for newbies like myself.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
I like that you are straight forward and say what you feel. To some, that sort of brashness can be a turn off, but I like that I never have to wonder where you stand. To me, that renders you trustworthy as opposed to one that I constantly had to wonder about.
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
I would say you are an open, out-spoken, independent, Texas woman. While that may not tell everyone who you are, to another Texan, that says quite a lot.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
I see you offering PLR products and indirect coaching for IM’ers.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
My opinion likely has very little credence in this area as I am not very familiar with others like you.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Definitely, I have learned from you and therefore, you have affected my life in a positive manner.
All sounds kinda like a suck up here but I suppose since I’m new to both IM and you, there is still a honeymoon relationship going on in my mind. Nevertheless, I appreciate you guidance.
Hey John! I had sooo many tutorials on YouTube
So sad they’re gone. Hope we never lose that honeymoon phase and if we do, you set me straight!
1. What do you like or dislike about me, or my business?
There is nothing really that dislike about you in particular. I do like your style of “no b.s.” and you tell it like it is (in your opinion).
I used to follow Jason Fladlien a lot. But he seems to be a bit cocky at this point. In addition, I’ve tried to put his systems to work and for whatever reason I just seem to miss the mark with his advice.
But with your products, you explain the steps in a manner that I can follow and test. Sure enough, I’ve produced real products and have a Paypal account that is taking in more money than I spend in a month.
For me this is really a breath of fresh air.
2. What do you trust or not trust about me?
Do I Trust you? Absolutely, 100%. Enough said!
3. If someone asked you who I was, what would your answer be?
The only IM mentor that actually practices what she preaches.
Back to the Fladlien example, he seems to change his answers depending on which product he is promoting at the time. Never concrete answers.
4. What main thing do you think I offer as a product or service?
Quality work.
5. Compare me to other marketers in general – how do I stack up?
I think you provide us with proven evergreen resources and approaches to growing our online businesses, where other IM’ers seem to jump on the latest bandwagon and technique trying to squeeze another $97 payment from my bank account.
6. Do I affect your life for the better or worse?
Absolutely for the better!
Awesome Chris! Thank you
