Does Bring the Fresh Smell Like a Bunch of BS? It Might Or It Might Not…

New Update – Read my Bring the Fresh 2012 Info here.

Update: After this blog posted and Kelly responded back and forth to me, he and Mike set up a comp membership for me to thoroughly review Bring the Fresh. You can go to tiffanydowreviews.com and it will show you all results for my multi part series where I rip it apart, give praise where praise is due, and put it to the test – you can read my case study updates of what my own sites do using this method step by step from market research to registering a domain and on.

In an email to my customers yesterday, I shared excerpts to Kelly Felix’s latest blog post – AKA his “confessional” where he cleansed his soul and banished his demons, sharing with you what I’ve told you all along – that those gurus (some of them) scam you intentionally, take your money, give ZERO customer support, and laugh (literally) all the way to the bank.

Kelly admitted using snake oil salesman tactics. He admitted making fun of his customers that he scammed. He came right out and said it all – including a very important sentence: “be suspicious of ME.”

This blog post link was posted in the Warrior Forum and a few people actually praised him for doing this. I praise him to the degree that he finally said it out loud. Other than that, I know why he did it – and it’s not for the good of mankind. He has a new product – Bring the Fresh.

Suddenly, this snake oil salesman (who, I might remind you is the same guy who offered sex to the 9/11 widows – classy, huh?) has turned his bad ways around and wants to be the one to really let you watch over his shoulder. Why do you think this is? His RJ shtick ran its course. It started out at $97, dropped to $47, then to $10 – I think it’s even given away now.

Time to reinvent himself. Kinda like those gurus who “retire” only to come OUT of retirement a month later because they “just have to share this ONE AMAZING thing with you,” and then bring their old products “out of the vault like Disney – but only for a limited time!”

Kelly (and his sidekick Mike) will now give you their PERSONAL cell phone numbers! They’ll respond to EVERY email they get! Wow – they never did this for you before. In fact, Kelly tells how they took your $10,000 sign up fee and never delivered – and he couldn’t be bothered to check up on this – he didn’t KNOW, he claimed.

Funny how he didn’t see the hundreds of complaints posted online that WE all saw – yet one tiny post in the Warrior Forum about his new blog entry (aka: the pre-sell for Bring the Fresh) and he’s on it like flies on shit.

I went to see the sales page – it’s such a peer-to-peer blog set-up I had to laugh. Oh and there are NO refunds available for your $500 investment, either. He blames it on YOU – because YOU guys are the ones who buy with the intention of refunding or buy and never put it into action and then refund his course. [Update: read all the comments below - Kelly says that one good thing to come out of this blog entry is he decided to offer refunds - so those of you saying I'm mistaken - no, I wasn't when this was initially written - he added that later.]

Funny – if he truly believed in the value of his course, he WOULD offer refunds, period. This way he doesn’t have to justify it – he told you so. I want to leave you with this as you prepare to get bombarded by these sneaky gurus turning over a new leaf:

A young girl is walking home through the woods on a bitterly cold winter day, when a snake (guru) slithers out onto the path before her.

“Please, help me. I’m dying.” the snake (guru) said.

“You’re a snake (guru)!” the girl responded, backing away.

“I won’t bite you,” the snake (guru) promised, “just pick me up and take me home. I wouldn’t hurt you if you were taking care of me.”

The girl felt compassion for the snake (guru) – (kind of like you may feel compassion for this soul cleansing blog post he made), and picked it up. She brought it home and prepared some food for it (aka: invested $500 into Bring the Fresh). But as she set it down, the snake (guru) bit her hand.

“I don’t understand,” the girl sobbed as she lay dying, “You said you wouldn’t bite me!”

The snake (guru) shrugged. “I’m a snake (guru), it’s what I do. And you knew that when you picked me up.”

Update 2: Since I’ve been following Bring the Fresh, I’ve seen amazing results. I apologized publicly to Kelly and truly believe he’s changed for the better. Click here to see my recent results using BTF.

  • Tiffany, I’m pretty well aware of TRJ but never knew his real name.

I’ll bet you’re getting hammered (um, that means busy) since you started this series of blog-post’s and tweets and stuff.

I emailed you yesterday concerning this very topic and I love the fact that you are willing to “Tell The Truth” as it really is, and I am willing to go public using my real name, thus the email that I sent you explaining, for the next 12 to 18 months I’m “Stopping” myself from the mindset of “Getting Rich By Next Thursday Afternoon”, and instead gong to help others that might be “Newbier Than Me” and I’m going to help with Passion!

I may “appear” to be not much to brag about at this time, but I know what I am and that I’m capable of great things and I’m going to prove to the marketing / blogging / Online Video etc world!

I feel so much better because I’m NO LONGER imprisoned by “Making Money”… I feel free to tell and do stuff for others for free (within reason, and a little guidance) ;)

You know that I could write an entire blog-post here, right? So…. Sudden Stop!

Thanks Tiffany for being YOU! :)

    Gary Anderson II
    aka- @GanderCo

P.S. What’s in it for me? In a word? “The Secret!” (ok, that’s 2 words)… To know and prove that I can do well by helping others FIRST! I’ll make money NEXT year somehow I’m sure.

    • Sandra says:

I bought Bring the Fresh because it had and 60 day guarantee on 12/08/2010 when I bought it. I asked for a refund last week and was told that I had exceeded my 60 days. When I sent them the date that I bought they then told me a 14 day refund policy was their rule. These people are a scam. Please don’t take any more money out of my bank account with 1200 as the last four digits. He is a scam artist and he even admitted it…!!!

  • John says:

This whole shebang reminds me of that famous song by the Who that ends with… “Meet the new boss… same as the old boss!” Thanks again Tiff… you’re the best.

    Respectfully,

    John

  • Lauri says:

    Tiffany,

Thanks for sharing your email, AND this post. I replied to his blog, but not sure if it will stay published.

It’s pretty sad, but people like him are why I am THANKFUL for the refund policy. Not because I want to purchase and then return, but because so much of it is re-hashed garbage it’s unbelievable. I’m thankful I have NEVER purchased from him, and I don’t trust him, either.

It’s too bad, because one day he really MAY have an awakening, and no one to really share it with…

You have done a lot for the IM industry, and I am thankful that there is someone that actually has ethics in this “industry”. Hopefully others – especially customers – will have wake up calls, and stop buying based on fear and pressure tactics.

Anyway, thanks for all you do, and for continuing to look out for the “little guy/gal”.

    Lauri

  • Bring the fresh smells like day old fish to me. I watched the promo video and was almost “uhh” and “ummm”-ed to death.

  • Pete Moring says:

In 1987 I had an ‘Awakening’ of my own. I wrote it down in the form of a poem (among many others :-)
Amazing how thing turn full circle given ‘time’, and truth always wins.

    Journey.

A light came screaming through the door of solid oak.
The brass bolts and hinges still all fixed.
A thousand fit, strong strangers had been beating at that door.
But it never gave an inch that you could tell.

Flames were thrown. The axe was wielded. All in vein it seems.
Just then, a light came screaming. I felt I must be dreaming,
as it filtered through, and lightened up my mind.

Crystals were vibrating to a sound of pure vision.
A rainbow chased a diamond o’er the floor.
    A shimmering mist was growing.
A blue light now was showing
the diamond and the rainbow at the door.

They were both warm and friendly, as they offered me their trust.
They would guide me through where angels fear to tread.
The Reaper started smiling, as only he knows how.
The light of life had entered, where nothing else would go.
It started then to put on such a show.

    The Diamond played the lead,
and the Crystals played the score.
    The Rainbow coloured in reality.
The blue mist of love, filled the Reapers heart with joy.
Made him smile, as he saw it all unfold.

The light of life shone on me
through a door of solid oak.
My protector, for, so many years.
I imagined that the reaper had a heart so cold.
But now I know he truly has a heart of gold.

As I pull the brass bolts,
and push the door back wide,
a thousand fit, strong strangers smile, and say.
“We’ve been knocking here a lifetime,
just to brighten up your life”.
“Come with us, and we will make your day”.

The smiles, I’ve imagined, in their thousands at the door.
But now I’ve seen the light show,
I will surely know the score.

    The diamond and the rainbow
    keep these strangers mesmerised.
    As I walk right past,
    I smile, and agree.
The beautiful vibrations of the crystals quell the fear.
The blue mist leads the way so I can see.

Now I’m going home to greet,
all those who’ve always loved me.
But left me, oh so soon behind the door.
The glory of the pure light,
    has offered me its sanctum.
    Where I shall live,
    and love,
    forever more.

    Pete Moring.

  • Come on dude, these facts* and proof* i mean who is posting* lol :P

  • Kelly Felix says:

    Tiffany,

I respect your opinions, but I believe you are practicing a bit of sensationalism here, as if your opinion is the opinion of “everyone”.

    Here is what I mean:

I find it odd that when you write to me personally your comments are much more tame than they are here. I also noticed you removed several of your posts on Warrior Forum after “everyone” didn’t agree with you. You tend to imply that your opinion is the opinion of “everyone”, when in fact, there is no “everyone”. There are only individuals.

Nevertheless, you are obviously entitled to your opinion, but I would appreciate you stating facts, not mis-leading comments.

For example: “Kelly tells how they took your $10,000 sign up fee and never delivered”.

Can you please tell me who exactly the “your” is in that sentence? Do you know of anyone this happened to? I asked anyone to contact me that this has happened to and have been contacted by all of 2 people who paid $2k and weren’t completely satisfied – this out out of thousands of customers. They were all entitled to a refund at any time during their coaching, and I have also given them lifetime membership to BringTheFresh.com

“He admitted making fun of his customers that he scammed”

Who in fact did I scam? Again, I’d welcome to hear from anyone who felt scammed.

“Funny how he didn’t see the hundreds of complaints posted online that WE all saw”.

Who is this “we”? Where are these “hundreds of complaints” exactly? Were you a rich jerk customer? Did you have a complaint?

I had over 75,000 customers, but I don’t see the hundreds of complaints you mention. Please point me to them. In return, I would be happy to point you to positive comments as well.

Also, 10 seconds of investigation at therichjerk.com and I don’t see it being “given away” as you mentioned. Is it given away somewhere now? I’m not heavily involved in running TRJ anymore, but I’m curious as to where you see it for free.

Finally, I’d like to offer you a free membership at Bring the Fresh to see for yourself what its all about, and I’d welcome any constructive criticism you have. Feel free to email me at kellyandmike (at) bringthefresh.com.

Anyone else who reads this and feels like contacting me is free to do so as well.

By the way, I did take your advice and the advice of a few others and implemented a risk free money back guarantee on BTF. Thanks for the insight there.

    Best,
    Kelly

    • Ruth Martin says:

Wow! ‘Some’ people sure tell it straight out! I tend to believe that kindness will ALWAYS get you further than unkindness.
Anyway, Kelly, am glad to see you giving a good answer to an otherwise quite unfair post. Even if it is claimed to be true, according to ‘some’ people.
I am a member of Bring the Fresh, and I have nothing but praise for you and Mike. I have been on two Webinars with you guys, and I have gotten more real info (for free!) in those, than I have in any other Webinars. I have been scammed before, and believe me, you guys deliver far more than most others, and it’s honest!
Just wanted to throw this in here, since I believe both sides should have a chance to tell there side.
      Wishing you the best!
      Ruth Martin

  • Tiffany says:

    Hi Kelly!

Thanks to Loretta, I just found your comment with about a dozen others in my askimet spam. So it’s live now and I wanted to respond to it.

I never claim to be the voice of everyone – in fact I admit there are people praising you for your soul cleansing blog post. I’m just not one of them. Not sure what I wrote to you personally – are you speaking of the comment I left on YOUR blog post? If so, let’s clue my readers in on this. This is what I posted on Kelly’s blog:

    ————
Kelly I wanted to scream while reading this. Is it a good message? YES! But like you said – be suspicious of you and I will.

Ghostwriting for all the gurus for so many years and being on the phone listening to them do exactly what you said – laugh about scamming people – it made me become a marketer myself who actually considers part of my ROI the feeling I get from helping people. Contrary to what people believe, it’s NOT ALLLLLLL about money. Part of it is, sure – we all have goals – but not 100%.

One big guru gave me a seminar audio to create a product from and his portion about outsourcing – he was making fun of ME and telling them how to rip off ghostwriters like me. He’d forgotten that was in there. That asshole.
I’m glad you warned people. I hope you walk the walk now and I hope with your status you lead more marketers into ethical tactics from here on out. Redeem yourself for the scummy practices you did in the past.
    ————-

If that’s what you’re referring to, I don’t consider it tamer – just a quick knee jerk response after reading it. I had time to expand on it for my own blog post. And I didn’t remove several posts on the Warrior Forum because not “everyone” agreed with me. I don’t know what you’re reading, but I just went back to that thread and many people are cynical of your intentions, as you instructed us to be.

Don’t mislead my readers into thinking I backed down on the Warrior Forum at all. In fact, this post is still there by me verbatim:

    ——–
The best part of his blog post – LISTEN UP:

“Be suspicious of push-button solutions. Be suspicious of products with names like “Underground grim reaper autopilot gold bar instant millionaire wealth generator.” Be suspicious of anything that says “earn up to 8 billion dollars per second.” I know it all seems like a no-brainer but people are actually still buying this stuff. Be suspicious of product launches. Be suspicious of cut and paste emails you receive from 42 different people. Be suspicious of anything that “everyone is talking about”. Be suspicious of anything with a bonus or “downsell”. Be suspicious of ME.”

I read this and I swear I want to scream. Yeah it’s great that he’s saying all this now. How much money has been LOST from hard working people because of HIM and those like him? I love the last line. I love it. And I am, Kelly – I am. I’m even suspicious of why you wrote this blog post. I smell a product coming on.

And look at one of the comments “John” posted on this blog post:

“While it is better than marketing with fear, this whole post is a cleaver marketing tactic in its own. Bad guy gone good who can now help you with his new product. This whole post is geared towards getting people to trust YOU and not others because you are calling then out on their marketing tactics.”

    EXACTLY JOHN!!

Unless they’ve been honest with you from day one, fear them and don’t believe them. Period.

There’s so much slime out there you need to take a shower after working online for five minutes.

    Tiff
    ———–

You then go on to say, Kelly, in your comment here to me, “I would appreciate you stating facts, not mis-leading comments. For example: “Kelly tells how they took your $10,000 sign up fee and never delivered”. Can you please tell me who exactly the “your” is in that sentence? Do you know of anyone this happened to?

No Kelly, YOU’RE the one who said this. And I quote, “After all, the people who bought the $10k coaching that I outsourced sure “took action”. A $10k committment (sic) is a HUGE “action”. And I simply got my $3k cut from the coaching floor and passed the responsibility onto them to fulfill upon their promises. Rarely did I check up on any of those individual customers or receive a glowing testimonial about the coaching. But I didn’t care. I rationalized it by convincing myself that if I wasn’t hearing complaints, then everything was ok. And I hid behind the character I had created…”

If those aren’t the facts, then don’t post them. Simple as that. Here’s what I don’t get – please explain to me:

1.) You go on your blog crying foul on yourself for being such an uncaring, unethical marketer who took money and didn’t even see if it helped anyone.

2.) NOW you’re pissed at anyone who agrees with you for being a snake and arguing with people like above – you state that you took the $10k and your share of it and went on your merry way and now you post here annoyed that I repeated it. Makes no sense.

You asked me, “Who in fact did I scam?”

You said in your blog post, Kelly: “But I figured that as far as scammy ebook stuff goes, I was one of the good guys. Looking back now, I was far from a good guy. I provided *some* value, but I could have done so much more.”

I truly believe you never saw the “we” I’m talking about back when Rich Jerk first came out. Because you admitted in your blog post that you turned a blind eye. Why not do some digging if you truly care, which I doubt you do at this point? You’re at a level now where too many people kiss your ass hoping to JV, so good luck trying to get anyone you personally contact to admit it now anyway.

I will give you one point here – the official website is NOT giving it away free. I have seen it available for free, though – and people were chatting about it now being free, wondering if that’s why you’d gone “clean,” so my fault for not clarifying with the official site.

Still, the point remains – it was once $97 and is now under ten bucks, hence the skepticism about your intentions. You can see that, can’t you? If not, step back and see it as if it was someone else, and not you personally.

I do applaud you for implementing a free money back guarantee. I’d love to see if you’re truly on the up and up now, and I will email you.

Look – here’s my point…I have a very cynical viewpoint after who all I ghostwrote for for years and all I heard behind the scenes – the exact stuff you blogged about. It sickened me – especially after all the heartfelt, tear filled emails, calls and video messages I got from desperate people getting ripped off. You were one of them. You admitted it. Not me.

If you’ve really turned a new leaf, then Bravo! I love it. If it’s a shtick, then shame on you – that’s all I was sayin’.

http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=140192 A quote from this review:

    “Hi

I was a member for a while (a month) but thought the product was very expensive. They also put up little content and most of it was a sales pitch made by JV partners.

I think what made me cancel was there was a lot of disent in the forum which the moderator, CAm removed and then there was the usual rant from RJ about how pathetic we all were.”

Hmmm Kelly, so maybe you DID hear and see all the complaints but deleted them?

  • Tim says:

While I do agree with alot of your post. I do think that you did make an error. You stated that you would not be able to get a refund for the $500 if you were to purchase Bring The Fresh however they do offer on their site a 60 day money back guarentee.

    • Tiffany says:

Tim I didn’t make an error – at the time that post was written, there was a specific NO REFUND policy. After Kelly saw my post, he stated on my blog that he did decide to offer refunds now. Look in the comments above – Kelly says, “By the way, I did take your advice and the advice of a few others and implemented a risk free money back guarantee on BTF. Thanks for the insight there.”

  • Mano says:

He also talks about “interesting” interruptions during the videos. That’s something no IMer as done as far as I know. Even though I don’t like him personally I appreciate his ingenuity.

  • discrat says:

Congrats Tiff !! Your Post here is now 3rd Position for Keyword ‘Bring the Fresh’ at Google. Found your Site through these Keywords.

Its amazing to see how Sensationalism will reward people !! ;)

Personally, I am suspicious of everyone as most everyone knows at Warrior Forum for the last couple of years.

And I must say through my own due diligence these guys at ‘Bring the Fresh’ are the real deal.

Questioning them is fine , I am totally with you on that. But your arrogant attitude is really cumbersome.

Honestly, it seems you are desperately trying to stir up controversy through your over the top tone just for the sake of promoting you own self.

Like I said good job Tiff for no.3 on
    Google !! ;)

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Discrat – let’s see – if BTF had an affiliate program (not sure if they do or not) and if I believed in it and wanted to promote it – MAN that’d be great ranking on #3 in Google for those keywords, wouldn’t it? As it is, though – does me no good other than to attract fans of KF who are looking to buy his program and who find my post instead and then want to defend him. And yes, we all know how suspicious you are in the WF.

Which is why I had to chuckle at this comment of yours. Your suspicion of me is your usual M.O. – but at the same time, you’re knocking me and calling me arrogant for the very thing you do all the time – be suspicious. Kind of ironic :) Since you’re an expert at disagreeing with people or shining a light on things, why not write an eBook so we can all learn how it’s done the right way?

Arrogance is exaggerating one’s own worth. I’m not doing that at all. I’m pointing out that the whole cleansing thing sounded like a crock of shit to me – and it’s a trend now anyway, so I’m surprised you’re not all over that yourself in your frequent rants on the WF. If you find my whole attitude cumbersome, I suggest you refrain from clicking on a TiffanyDow.com/blog link so as not to distress yourself further :) I hate to contribute to anyone’s bad mood.

I think it’s remarkable that KF was expected to post such an eye opening post and those who have been saying this was going on for years are supposed to sit here with our mouths shut and maybe what, rah rah for them for being good people now?

That’s not how I do things here, discrat – and I never will.
      tiff ;)

        Tiffany,
Is that not an affiliate link cloaked in the left sidebar for BTF?

I am reading through the quick start guide of BTF and while much of it is rehashed info it does have some great content that is helpful.
What I like is it is a well laid out step by step guide. I am looking forward to reading more watching the videos and implementing it on a new site step by step to see how it works out, I’ll let you know.

  • Ken says:

    Dear Tiffany…

Just stopped here because I was investigating “Bring The Fresh,” got an email from TRAVIS (same guy who wrote the e-book, “Magic of Making Up”).

Actually, my trust in Travis is the ONLY reason why I am still considering Bring the Fresh at all. I get this same feeling of trust from YOU, as well, upon reading your honeest posts to other individuals and doing your part to stop Internet fraud from the get-rich-quick guru scam artists (and there are so many of them… maybe even TRAVIS may actually be a very SMOOTH scam artist… not sure about anyone at this point.)

Anyway, Dear Tiffany, I can see now that the most IMPORTANT ting to have on the Internet is “some type of ongoing contact with an experienced person whom youy can trust.”

This is my new online business marketing philosophy. Now, my question for you is this…

What the heck is Bring the Fresh, I mean, truly? Travis talks about how special these guys are…and then I go look at their videos and they start showing screenshots of big money they make.

However, I keep asking myself and looking for the bottom line… I never get my answer. What is is they are actually selling? I mean, what things do the high-ranking .com, .org, or .net new sites that they recommend settting up… what do these sites actually seell in order to generate the acclaimed million dollar profits?

I still just don’t get it. To me, it is easy to see how cunningly EVERYONE seems to avoid actually telling you what makes this system work. How to get the links that can make a simple two-page blog generate a million dollars within only a few months?

Even if I could make 1/10 of those claims, my life would improve drastically.

Tiffany, can you help me get to the bottom of this Internet puzzle? I mean, I don’t want to give these guys $97 just to discover I am already doing what they are posting to be a high-priced traffic-generating secret!

For example, last month I invested in the “CopyNProfit” system by Hitesh and Jason.

They seemed like honest guys, especially Hitesh. Same price, $97, but this is a MONTHLY ongoing installment plan. So, I joined. Was goint to do it for two months and continue, only if it worked for me.

However, Hitesh’s very first “secret” online income strategy starts talking about “black hat” and “gray hat” advertising on Craigslist using somebody else’s cell phone number to authorize your prepaid Craigslist account.

Wow, I was already disappointed, but just in case I was the inexperienced one, I followed through with one ad on Craigslist and one prepaid authorized cell phone account.

Hitesh said to expect about 30 visitors per day on this project. Guess how many visitors “I” actually received? ZERO meaning NONE… not even one single person responded to my Craigslist ad, as though I never even set this entire project up in the first place!

Complete waste of time… but part of my $97 went into discovering that this technique does not work. The worst part of it is, I STILL do not know WHY it did not work.

I sent Hitesh several emails asking about it.. He NEVER even ONCE respponded back to me… not even to this day.

Surely, I cancelled the plan at the end of one month. Another “no refunds” program. They tell you in advance…”just be sure this is what you want before you buy it.”

I looked through that entire course of 14 online income current money-making strategies… and honestly, I can tell you..

I only learned ONE SINGLE NEW piece of information. That is, putting bullets at the end of your article instead of the typical link in the author box. You put your link above the ending, so it looks like your article is about to continue.

Nice touch. Yet, even regarding that strategy … I have some of my EzineArticles … BEFORE paying for any guru advice… already receiving a 29% click-through rate at EzineArticles.com

It cost me NOTHING to find a good strategy on my own. What I am asking you, and what I asked Hitesh, and what I REALLY need to know about making money online via article marketing is this…

Why, with so many great articles online already, am I not making any sales?

I only receive one sale here and there… almost NONE at all… Yet, I have great articles online with lots of readers.

“They say,” one article should be worth at least one sale per month. I have about 100 articles live on EzineArticles right now.

So, with my affiliate products which pay about $30 each in commissions, I should now be receiving around $30 x 100 articles = $3,000 per month.

But I am only getting about one single sale each month… only 30 bucks! I just GOTTA figure out this puzzle.

Please, can you help me solve this one?

Thank you for listening, and in advance…

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    K e n

      Hey Ken!

Mike and Kelly set up a comp membership for me and I’ll get started reviewing this – so many people are landing here wanting to know, so I’ll do a case study/review to find out. To be honest, I don’t yet know myself what it REALLY is.

Quickly (because I’m late for carpool), I’ll tell you this…some systems work – like One Week Marketing for example, if you read my review here, but they have warts. You have to fix the system to work…and many don’t know how. I think volume plays a big role in everything.

Watch for my vlog today and I’ll talk more about this later…

  • Ken says:

Thanks so much for replying and quickly too.

I’ll stick to my 2nd question now, and leave “Bring The Fresh” to the side. A more pressing issue for me is this…

Why, with all the articles I have showing on EzineArticles.com, are there essentially NO sales coming in? Many of my articles are receiving 5, 10, 15, 20, and even 29% click-thru rates.

However, only about 1 single sale per month is coming in from EzineArticles I have online.

I posted this question also on the DigitalPoint forum, an done person basically suggested “make sure your affiliate link is copied correctly.”

I checked, and yes, for sure, the link follows through correctly, indicating my exact affiliate ID for sales crediting.

Just in case you have minute to spare, can you look at this article and click the resource box? Now I am surely curious to know your opinion on why this article, with 29% click-thru rate, generates absolutely no incoming sales on my ClickBank account.

    Article Title:
How To Fix A Dying Relationship

    Article URL:
    http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Fix-a-Dying-Relationship&id=2019020

    Please take a quick look.

Thanks so much for your time.

    Sincerely,

    K e n

(P.S.) By the way, my keyword “how-to-fix-a-dying-relationship” is still holding the NUMBER ONE position on Google, first page, first slot, over 2,420,000 competitors!

    • Tiffany says:

      Hey Ken!

That link didn’t work but I found this: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Fix-a-Dying-Relationship&id=2019020 same title. The article needs work (I’m launching a writing tips course soon) but aside from that you say you’re getting the click through rate anyway but no sales or very few sales. Still, how much volume are you getting? Remember most “gurs” say a 1-2 % conversion rate is pretty good, so that means for every 100 CLICKTHROUGHS, you’d get 1-2 sales.

Now if this is a domain you own: http://fix-dying-relationship.info/MagicOfMakingUp_LandingPage.html you’re doing yourself a disfavor having his youtube video on there. If they double click to watch the video on YT which i often do, they’re going to buy through HIS direct link, not yours. Unless you’re building a list off your landing age, just do a redirect to MOMU – so they don’t even land on your page.

      That should help.

After I have spent several hundred dollars on programs that are supposed to enable me to turn a profit within a week or so, it has become obvious that “someone” has definitely NOT had a change of heart. In learning a work-from-home business, a course that gives out information that looks like swiss cheese is worthless! As a result, I’ve had to take several and put them all together and ended up gaining enough information that maybe I’ll see some actual conversions to real money.
    I appreciate you!

  • James says:

I was doing some research on keywords to Promote BtF when I found this blog post. Its definitely fair to have your own opinion and I respect it. I for one am sick to death of empty promises however I was a member of The Rich Jerk and never had a complaint. I am now also a member of Bring the Fresh Full Disclosure and while it might not be on some fancy sales page I will tell you it does deliver. I’ve been a member of some pretty high dollar courses/classes and none have made it so that a total newbie can start today and be making money within a month. Are you going to make 10 grand your first month..I highly doubt it but a few hundred is totally feasible. Take that and multiply it by 12 and a year from now $100 or even $200 a day is totally reasonable which, for most people, means a better life. Cheers!

    -James

  • Mike says:

I bought into the promises BTF makes and when I asked for a refund within 60 days (as was their policy), I was severely harassed by Kelly, called stupid and disrespected. Kelly hasn’t changed from his TRJ days like the “act” he puts on at his website. Unfortunately, I found the content to be a complete rehash of content that cost substantially less and without paying a monthly membership fee. Also, while I was there for most of the 60 days, the site was never updated as was promised for the “behind the scenes” members. Not once. When confronted with that fact, Kelly defended his position by stating that I got my moneys-worth in spite of not posting new case studies and materials. Did I finally get my money back. Yes… but only after sending many, many emails to Kelly, which were duly ignored until I got Clickbank involved.

    • Tiffany says:

Wow Mike sounds like you had a horrible experience! Everyone I’ve talked to so far has been overly joyed by the hands on help Kelly’s provided but I’m always happy to have a wide level of experiences shared here :)

  • scott says:

Mike’s experience is no surprise… I too, got no response for my refund email — 1st one was ignore, 2nd one didn’t address the refund issue, 3rd one went to deft ear.

I only been inside of member area 3 times in the first 12 days, so I decided to cancel then re-join later when I can commit more time.

Now, I am considering going to BBB, FTC, Payment processor…etc.

  • Cherry Blososm says:

I’m having a refund issue as well for basic membership I have sent out my second reply and have not received a response. There’s not even a link on the site to cancel and none in paypal either so how is one suppose to cancel or get their money back when they don’t respond to e-mails regarding cancellations and refunds. When you e-mail about up-grades or questions concerning the product they instantly e-mail you back but when you e-mail about getting your money back and cancelling NO RESPONSE!!!! Any ideas guys?

  • Carole says:

I really don’t understand why Kelly & Mike can be so pig headed about refunds. There are SO MANY absolutely estactic customers of BTF…why not just accept that any program is never going to be right for everyone and just do a cheerful refund with something like: “We’re really sorry that our program didn’t meet your expectations and please accept this small gift as our thanks for trying out BTF. We at BTF wish you all the suucess in the future!” Then attach a small freebie.

Do you think this would “wow” (lol Craig)people, and make them feel good even though BTF wasn’t for them? Maybe even come back when they were ready on their IM journey?

What I find most worrying about these complaints is the personal abuse that seems to be coming from guys who are earning absolute MEGA dollars…I mean, really? Are they such princesses that they can’t take the fact that not everyone is ready/able to assimilate/understand how to use their product? Can’t they see past their own egos? Refunds are a fact of life…give ‘em, move on.

I always remember something from “The Lazy Man’s Way To Riches” by Joe Karbo, which I read nearly thirty years ago. While scummy direct mail marketers simply took the cash from the envelopes and threw envelopes with complaints or questions into the bin, in his own business he always monitored the “complaints desk” the most. Simply because he made money in fixing people’s complaints, giving them the information they required and making them grateful customers who spread the word about how great his customer service was. The ones who he couldn’t pacify, he sent on their way with a refund, a smile and many thanks. I’ve always believed this in itself is a powerful marketing strategy, and besides…it’s the right way to behave, anyway.

Sorry for the long comment, but this has been on my mind for the last few days.

    • Tiffany says:

I need to teach my list about refunds – there’s a lot of mis information going around but i hear ya Carole and I often feel the same way about big time marketers who balk at a refund.

    • Thankyou for the most constructive reply I have seen.I am new to IM and am thinking of buying BTF as thousands seem to be satisfied and making money.I remember seeing “Rich Jerk” and thinking how funny the abuse was.It was a great sell and it worked and as Kelly admitted he became a “RICH JERK”!
If they can show me how to making a living online they can abuse me all day long!

  • Mike Long says:

Hey guys – we noticed a few people having trouble getting refunds. Please know that we have no ulterior
motives to deny a refund and if you don’t hear back from us, it means we didn’t get the support ticket, so you can go through CB direct if you want. We don’t stop customer service just because the program isn’t for everyone.

  • Walt says:

I am a fd member of btf.

MY LAUNCH JACKING WEBSITE GOT TO THE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE USING TIPS I GOT FROM BTF.

but that doesn’t guarantee you will make a dime.

I sent Mike and Kelly an email. I never got a reply; they claim all emails answered in 48 hours. are they lying? or just don’t care or maybe incompetent? or they are too busy counting the millions they claim to have made or what?

  • James says:

Tiffany, you disappoint me.. and you probably don’t allow this comment to be posted, but bring the fresh is outdated, it’s a lot of talk and they obviously outsource all their SEO since they seem like amateurs at that.

The full disclosure was a huge disappointment, so I guess you must be working together with them..

But hats off.. you’re an expert in the field of deceiving your readers.

    • Tiffany says:

James so sorry to disappoint. Of course I’ll allow your comment to be posted. Why wouldn’t I? I still promote Bring the Fresh because my many BTF sites are still bringing in money. I always tell people to get Core – that they don’t “need” full disclosure. I enjoyed hearing about Kelly’s and Mike’s various business models, but it did drag on in some parts. But Core is very valuable IMO. Don’t be such a conspiracy theorist. Just because you haven’t had success with it and i have doesn’t mean I’m working with anyone – if I was, you’d see me promoting all their recent stuff, and I haven’t, have I?

Oh, and kiss my ass for your last comment. You can have an opinion without being rude, moron!

  • Alan says:

Wow, this certainly took some following.
Thank you Tiff, for not only giving an honest critique, but having the data to support it.
I don’t think The Rcih Jerk was a marketing creation. I believe tht’s the real individueal behind it. It gave him an excuse to be rude and abusive, while hiding behind a persona.
    Leopards don’t change their spots.
I was seriously considering Bring The Fresh, but something about it is a bit rancid.
    More power to you.
    Thanks, Alan

  • Jean says:

Wow! I was going to buy the btf until I ran into this post. I’m giving it a second thought.

  • Jean says:

I see so many negative reviews here regarding the refunds and the program. I’m came close to buying the full disclosure. Reviews says it all.$67 month for 6 months is to steep for me.

  • Jean says:

I had purchased the 7 day trial. Then it redirected me to buy the full disclosure for $67 at 6 months or 1 time payment for $300 which is more cost effective.I accidentally lost the link.I requested the link from felix, and he never replied back to me.This is full of crap

  • Terry says:

Any updates on your experience with BTF?

  • Dominique says:

    Hi Tiffany,

I’m a fellow war room member warrior and I just found your blog along with the review of BTF. WoW..Boy, am I surprised! I remember the Rich Jerk for a while ago but I never bought the product – although if it was funny in a way, I couldn’t bring myself to buy something from a jerk who would call people losers, even if he was a rich one..lol!

Anyway, I’ve never heard those stories about K.F before and although everything seem to be resolved between you guys, your post give me a lot to think about. I was considering buying it, but I must say that I’m not that thrilled anymore (refund issues, people being verbally abused when cancelling, past bad behaviors and all that jazz) and don’t know what to think about it all. Still, I’ve one question, you wrote above “you don’t need the Full Disclosure, just the Core” are you talking about the WP plugin sold at the WF as a WSO? Thanks to get back to me on that.

p.s: I bought a PLR product from you a few weeks ago, was very pleased about it :)

p.p.s: If you are allowed to give us the name of the a**hole-guru that bragged about ripping off ghostwriters like you, feel free to do so – I’d like to make sure I don’t buy from him!

    Best regards,

    Dominique

  • Dominique says:

Err.. Tiff? Just reading your long BTF review right now but your videos are no longer active, if they are but are located somewhere else, please send a link via email, thanks :)

p.s: I think I’ve got the response to my previous question, the Core you’re talking about is the Core system (= basic membership) of BTF, isn’t? Please confirm, thanks!

  • Russell says:

    Hi Tiffany,

I purchased BTF a couple of weeks ago and have been addicted to finding quality domains since day one. I have a couple of WP sites semi-setup, and have a few questions for you since you seem to have had a change of heart in dealing w/ BTF.

I sent them a regrettable email, asking a couple stupid questions before really going through the program. I now realize the error of my ways, but am a bit concerned due to the lack of response at all to that email from either Kelly or Mike. Just wondering how many people they fail to respond to… I am a beginner at all of this, but want so desperately to succeed.

This is getting lengthy I know, but I have not found this info on BTF site anywhere. What are the “All in One SEO” plug-in parameters I need to use? Also, it seems like there is a ton of upsell to other products…are they necessary for success or can some of the BTF strategies be implemented cheaper, even if having to be done manually starting out?

    Thanks alot!
    Russell

    • Tiffany says:

No not necessary – I use alternate programs. I don’t know the all in one seo parameters – not even sure that was in there initially sorry :( Are you in the forum? Might get some reply there.

  • Andrew says:

Hello Tiffany: At this point, do you still recommend BTF?. I wasted so much money bought so many different programs but never work for me. Please advice……
    Thank You
I really like your blog and honest reviews.

  • Russell Cormier says:

I’m reading these posts that go back and forth and their all informative as well as comical. People open your eyes and do your own research…stop waiting for someone else’s opinion. In any business you have to take risks…but of course take educated risks. I’ve just jumped around from system to system myself with that…I want results now mentality. And that’s the wrong mentality to have. But I’ve learned a lot and one thing I’ve learned is…the best way to get started is by building small niche websites…building one at a time until you see the results or income that satisfies your needs. It’s a numbers game and you have to be repetitious. Do a little keyword research and you will be amazed at how many irrelevant or low quality sites are highly ranked by google anyone could blow out of the water with a simple one page site.

No…I’m not speaking from much experience, but I’ve done a lot of damn homework. And now for me personally…it’s time to get paid. But don’t get me wrong I do believe in helping people find what they need and is of QUALITY! We are all people with a want or a need and being able to find a solution to our problem in the comfort of our own home is a luxury and convenience because it’s intimate and private.

I have hustlin’ online for the last 2 years with some payout to show for it and I have heard of the TRJ. Don’t know about the whole,so called “scam” of it, but I know it was a big seller on ClickBank. All I know is…those who seek opportunity online need to start thinking like business minded people…myself included. Let’s stop acting like thinking like the Victim and start thinking like the Problem Solver. Yes the internet is filled with a lot of information…both legit and bullshit. Me personally…I’ve come across more opinions than bullshit. And you know what they say about opinions right…”they’re like assholes…everybody’s got one!”

But besides all that, I have just heard about BTF and I checked out the intro video and to me…it looks like the fundamentals of niche site building. If I can attack any niche and go after any keyword available…build a quality landing page around that one product or service…providing people with solid information and make a couple hundred dollars from it every month…then do it over and over…I’m in! If you are brand new…all you need to get started are the fundamentals. I think we get so caught up in the secrets and strategies that are pitched to us we forget about the FUNDAMENTALS. Find what works for you, something that you can realistically put time, money and effort into and do it “religiously.” I’m quoting the “religiously” part from someone else. In a nutshell…Find your Niche.

Just to make things clear…I rarely hang out and post in forums or blogs. I never even imagined I would spend this much time on a computer. I still use like 3 fingers to type…so you can imagine how long it took me to write this damn thing…lol.

So I’m not here to post anything…but there is an online course similar to BTF and I’ve tried it out. I just want to help people find what works for them and no…this isn’t my affiliate link. If I want to sell it’s going to be where the $$$ is at. This course is called
Niche Profit Classroom. Google it! Me personally…I want to try out BTF and see how it pans out. There’s gold in them their hills and I want a piece.

Just wanted to share my thoughts!

    Thanks!

PS. Please post this Tiffany…it took me a long time to type this…lol!

  • Renan says:

I had purchased the Full Disclosure and after the first month of recurring billing, asked for a refund of just the Full Disclosure.

I had to ask several times and noticed that I was being billed again.

This dates back to about a year now so my memory is not perfect, but I recall finally getting two months refunded.

Today, I wanted to go back in to review the materials and cannot access my account.

Since there is no way for me to email Mike or Kelly as I don’t have their email anymore, I am posting here to see if someone can post their email, or send it to me at renan@unbamboozled.com so I can try to get my account reactivated.

As far as I know, I never got refunded for the original payment, only the recurring payments for the Full Disclosure, so I should still have access.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Frank says:

Hi , funny when Mr Mike Filsaime sponsor anythingh all that you get is a lot of upsell. Hey guys if you want to create a mini site and do some affiliate you don’t need to get into BTF just do your home work , find keywords , create the WP site do some simple on page seo and all the rest i’m sure you already know and promote, video , article , forum , blog comment and that usual SEO. They will not teach anythingh new or that you can learn in the forums , or buying a cheaper course or maybe you already have on your HD full of dust ….take action and stop waiting for the gurus (?) to help you make money , they will only suck $ from you . It’s a shame that Multimillionaires like M.Filsaime (?) they still do this petty deals to rip of peoples . Sometimes ago Mr Filsaime announced that i will no more do e-mail marketing because he will just start a software developping company ….but he strangly got back to e-mail marketing , with a a lot of S…T !!!!! Final comment : YOU DON’T NEED THIS KIND OF SCAM JUST TAKE ACTION AND DO WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW YOU HAVE TO DO …..Tiffany you are strange …. get yourself in a clear position ’cause you are exactly doing as the one you call the bad guys….

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Frank! I’m pretty confident in what I do and how I do it but thanks for your opinion :) I went through the course, it worked, I’m honest in saying FD isn’t necessary. I showed proof of what I did, how I did it and what it earned. Nothing scummy about that. I don’t hate on “gurus” just to hate. I only disparage people who deserve it.
