Launch of New Website on Confidence Building

Hi everyone! Well one of you guessed it and since I stink at keeping secrets, I have to go ahead and blab! I am launching two new membership sites this year – one on Internet Marketing for newbies on up and the other on confidence building.

I started seeing a great need for this when my Mom made a comment about her being a loser – and many people echoed her sentiments saying they have felt that way too.

I see it all the time – on Facebook where my friends put themselves down.

I saw a lady in the store talking to the cashier about buying makeup “even though  it wouldn’t do any good.”

Why do we do this? Where’s our confidence?

I’m on a mission to re-instill it in us and this membership site won’t just be about business – it’ll cover all aspects of our lives. The site’s blog is already up here: ConfidenceClass.com/blog but I’m planning the main membership site to launch in the not too distant future.

I also launched a Twitter account for it here: @confidenceclass if you want to tune into that. This site will be uplifting, but I’ll be open to giving people a good kick in the butt when they need it – just no cursing or rants. I want this to be a positive experience.

Tiff :)

  • Tiff,

So glad you are doing this. It’s uplifting just to have you talking about it. It promotes the idea that confidence can be improved. Which is good in every area of life.

I tend to have less confidence in areas where I haven’t seen the success I desired/expected. So, the online business area can beat me down. Really, actually get me depressed.

But I am so determined that I keep going and over time I do make progress. But underneath it all, I need to be confident about it.

It seems like I’m alone here. There’s no co-workers in the room, so we can chat about set backs and know that we have agreement on what we are doing. Decisions are made “solo”.

That is one reason I love being in your group. I look forward to your daily emails. I think one reason is that you project confidence in a real way. Not phoney baloney. But a real person with ups and downs who is proud of herself and is an achiever.

I hadn’t really thought of that before, but from the confidence perspective, you’ve already been helping.

I think the better I feel about myself and my progress, the better I do. Lack of confidence tends to hold me back in areas that I don’t have a lot of experience and thus, prior success.

And to make it even more scary – there is nobody even telling me I’m doing the right actions. So, the high risk strains my confidence.

    Looking forward to the membership!
    Debbie

    Tiffany,

I’m not sure where you get all the energy from, but I wish you could bottle some of it up and UPS it. :)

My self-confidence was at a all time high during high school years, but life has tainted me since then.

I can’t readily say when I’ll be able to break away from this issue, as it means dredging up my past and some things are better left untouched. :(

Still, I look forward to your new membership site.

    - Bonnie

  • Your first 2 posts are really great. Thank you.

  • Cindy says:

    Hey Tiff,
Sounds good! I believe that self deprecating remarks become self fulfilling prophecy. I use to call myself stupid under my breath all of the time (For years and years, actually) until I realized what I was doing and I had to train myself to knock it off!! Not sure where it came from but I am definitely Not stupid! :D

    What Debbie and Bonnie said!

  • Nathan says:

I really admire the way you get things moving without any hesitation. To just get a new blog going like that and start laying down the content is fantastic.

I spend months in planning mode and then move quite slowly. I love the way you just take action and get it done. An example for the rest of us!

  • Amy says:

how do you learn confidence from a website? Confidence comes from within, from positive achievements and interactions with others.

    • Tiffany says:

And if you lack the skills to develop that, you go out and learn strategies to help you implement it. You can’t just wish or hope it appears and it will be. A membership site, like this blog, does help you make connections and sometimes hearing other people’s stories is beneficial in getting us past our fears,

    Hi Tiff
It’s nice to see some faces on the blog! Heaps of links from you today so I am only going to comment here as I need to get to work.

Your confidence blog is a super idea. I read the posts and thought oh, that doesn’t really apply to me but an hour later I know it does. The two articles that I wrote have sat on my computer not submitted for a week! So have done that today, one to Ezine and one to CommentLuv. I realised that I still fear not been good enough and fear rejection. So your posts really made me think!

Bit behind in the challenge because of some life stuff happening this week but I was a bit ahead last week so doing OK.

You have so much on your plate, I hope that you are not going to wear yourself out!

    • Tiffany says:

Thanks Jan! I’m glad you found benefit in the posts :) We all have life stuff so don’t let it get to you – take care of it and move on when YOU are ready :)

  • Gregory X says:

Both of these sound like great ideas, and I think you’ll be very successful with them!

  • Hello Tiff et al,

I loved it when I read “confidence is a renewable resource.” That gives me a bit more confidence just reading that line.

I tend to say: “I can’t do that” and then prove myself wrong by doing it, but later I still find myself saying: “I can’t do that.” It usually takes someone else to point out to me that what I had said I couldn’t do was actually done. This happens with my acting and singing quite a lot. It takes someone else to point out to me that I can do it.

My Daddy used to say to me: “You can do it” whenever I lacked confidence. I now find myself hearing his voice still telling me “You can do it” when I’m doing it in fear. It very often works. Courage does come later and then you wonder why you were so fearful.

I’m still up to date with the 365, but a bit behind with the branding. I’ve had a lot of ghostwriting and translating to do so I have told myself that I am allowed to be a bit behind. LOL

    Angel cuddles,

    Sarah

Someone else liked that line too! Glad it made an impact :) My dad was like yours! Of course it was in regards to golf but stepping up to the championship tee in front of a bunch of military men (me being the ONLY girl in the tournament) is quite intimidating and I lacked confidence that I could hit it straight or outdrive them – but I did.

This is so refreshing in today’s “rush-rush only the strong survive world”. I look forward to reading and learning along with you all.

    Hey Tiff… :)

  • Doni says:

Hi Tiff: I am one of those blessed people who have lots of self confidence. Not afraid to speak to large crowds. Walk up to strangers and talk to them.(etc) but,I know lots of folks who don’t have that confidence. Even I think I can probably learn something from this. Way to go Tiff. Doni

And what about your IM membership site, Tiff?

  • Amy says:

    • Tiffany says:

What does she say in it? My PLR ATM isn’t a membership course.

      • Ann Moore says:

Your Confidence Class blog looks great!

Super to the point information, that may hurt a little, but that is because you really care to tell us (me) the truth.

I have a friend I am aching to see back online…not sure why she dropped out.

Tiff, what you are doing is big you are touching many lives…thanks

        Love the cat pic…

  • Katie says:

I think it’s great that you’re doing a site on confidence! I’m no expert on that but I just bought something you may or may not want to recommend to your future members.

It may sound a little woo-woo but there’s a guy named Sean Wheeler (he’s sort of a celebrity in Atlanta) who is very skilled at hypnosis and has a $10 mp3 for “Ultimate Confidence.” He has a radio segment where I live and people rave about him. Here’s the link.

    http://store.purehypnosis.com/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&products_id=183&zenid=143b9f34ccd4d62958aaabb7efe11b35

There’s no affiliate program, so that’s direct. I plan to try it in the next couple weeks (too busy doing other stuff right now). Anyway, he’s pretty cool, so if hypnosis doesn’t creep you out, it might be something that could benefit your future members.

    Hope it helps! Thanks Tiff!
