I know Amazon stuff sells well on Squidoo because, well, I’m a buyer! This week I spent a couple of hundred dollars on a DVD player, $70 or more on books and $40 on gag gifts for a friend. Books, it’s been said, are the #1 seller on Squidoo Amazon modules. So I’m doing some case studies about how to get the biggest ROI on my book lenses with the least possible effort.

Some books – the ones I myself read and enjoy – I’ll create a full review lens about – where I talk about my viewpoint on the subject. But other books I’ll pull items in from reviews on Amazon, and quickly rewrite details I find elsewhere.

So I went to the Amazon book section just now and look there on the right side of the page where it gives the best seller list. I took the #1 book for today – Glenn Beck’s Common Sense: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government, Inspired by Thomas Paine and I decided to create a lens about it. I know nothing about this book yet.
