Time for an IPK Check In

Last year about this time (actually a little bit later), I told everyone about a new product that was out that I had plunked down $107+ on called Info Product Killer. It was timely because its biggest perk was in the tangible holiday commissions it could bring. And it worked! I had put it to use, seen results, and then many of my list members did the same.

Well it’s time to check back in to IPK and see what all Craig’s working on for this year. His site says that he’s working on these additions for this holiday season:

Expert Wider-Ranging SEO Tips
Highly Profitable Low Cost PPC Strategies
Awesome Google Adwords Quality Score Techniques
“Noob Proof” SEO Website Software

This is great! His existing information is already stellar, as those of you who bought it know – complete with step by step PDF files and video tutorials. The software will be awesome for those who need extra hand holding or automation.

So what is Info Product Killer and why would someone like me, who sells an eBook on how to create info products, want to promote it? IPK is an affiliate guide unique to others I’ve seen on the market. Craig (not Desorcy – another Craig) was unknown to me when I bought it, but he replied to all of my emails promptly and took care of all of my customers that I sent his way, too.

It teaches you to make YEAR ROUND profits on tangibles, not just the holiday season – although during the holidays, sales really hit high levels for the year (obviously because people like me are too lazy to go to stores locally and want to take advantage of free shipping deals and order our Christmas list online).

This is something you set up once and leave in place. I like that it’s not anything that quits working after 6 months or a year. And while his strategy talks about domains, I’ve found it works great on Squidoo lenses too – in case you need to spend less right now as your profits start churning.

    Hi Tiffany,
I was very excited to find your blog after finding tiffanydow.com and reading about the products you were offering. Definitely a newbie and I’ve been searching for the right opportunity to break into that magic world of “making money on the Net”.
I was interested in Squidoo and was thinking that it would be a simple way to get my feet wet. I had read about IPK a few months ago while searching for opportunities on Google. I don’t know if you’re aware, but the thread you started last year in Warrior Forum is one of the top results returned.
I have to say, it’s hard to believe that you and the members of the Warrior Forum are so open about the information that you share. I would think it would be human nature to want to keep these methods of making money to yourselves so as not to saturate the market and add to your own competition. That fact that there is such a free exchange of information says to me that opportunities are vast. No one seems to be worried about someone infringing on what they’re doing.
I think I’m ready for the next step, but something I read yesterday in the Warrior Forum brings up a question that I don’t think I’ve seen addressed in your Archive. If it’s there , I apologize for not looking hard enough. Have you ever had a problem with having Squidoo lock any of your lenses? If so, were you able to get convince them to unlock them.
I don’t have any illusions about getting rich quick. I can see that this is something that takes time to build and I know I have some hard work ahead, but I’m really feeling optimistic. Sorry if this is a ramble, but thanks again for your honesty and generosity.

    Hi Anthony!

Thanks for taking the time to ask this. In regards to Squidoo lenses, when the rules hit, we were given about a month’s notice. So I took off any controversial content that MIGHT even trigger the lockdown and I moved it to my own blogs. My rules are that I won’t really promote anything other than tangibles on there – I reserve info product promotions for my blogs and domains. I DO continue to brand my own expertise and my PLR site on Squidoo, since it’s allowed. If I launch my own info product, since it’s about marketing, which isn’t a banned topic, I build a lens on it – but not some spammy sales copy.

Since IPK is based on tangibles, Squidoo is a great place for this.

    I hope this helps!
    Tiff ;)
