Nice point you are making with regards to gearing up for Christmas. I know your own niche is evergreen (all year round) but for any and all that are not even evergreen, its no bad idea at all to be starting in on the action plan and setting up some sites in prep for Christmas.
If we think about it (as I was myself just before you popped today’s video up), its less than 4 months to November, and November is when things go insane regards to sales for Christmas. And for anyone who has not themselves experienced Christmas sales from their own websites, I do actually mean INSANE!
So Tiff is offering great advice here and that is to take some action now with regards your own sites and Christmas sales. Don’t just think about it, do take action!

LOL yeah my chihuahua gets spooked by the dark hallway every night. She barks at it. Yeah usually my sales for Christmas start really coming in during October, but some spike happens in September. I have friends who shop for Christmas that early – sickening. LOL

Hey Tiff,
If it’s just the “full page” that you’re worried about, you can easily just create a “page template” for your Wordpress theme that doesn’t include the side bars and upload it.
After you have it uploaded, then whenever you want to use it, you just select it from the page template dropdown in your WP admin.
If you really wanted to, you can have a Wordpress site that looks just like your IPK site layouts, but have a blog style section as well. There’s lots of options with Wordpress. You might have known that already and just don’t want to bother, but thought I’d let you know.
Anyway, good idea on building an authority site on your toys domain.

it is Joey but I’m enthusiastic about it as a parent of 3 – so I enjoy writing about it too.
Sure Desmond, sorry! Basically, I’m gearing up for the toy niche this year. I hated selling off all my lenses this year – I enjoyed the toy income they brought to me. So between now and Happily Ever After, I’m going to focus on toys as my tangible items of choice – in particular, building http://www.TopToysThisYear.com – a new site I’m building with Network Blazer. I chose that domain because it’s evergreen (won’t expire after 2010) and it’s not JUST Christmas – it’s for all occasions – birthdays, Easter, etc. I’ll have to carefully organize my pages and keywords. I’m promoting Amazon but also eBay and Toys R Us.
Toy commission pays more than toilet seats – and parents spend money on toys and Amazon offers the perk of free shipping. So in addition to my toy focus, I’ll be working on my Internet Marketing tutorials – those 2 things are where I’m happiest.

I think I will purchase IPK when it reopens so I can implement Network Blazer. Then in the near future purchase BTF and incorperate the 2.
I was curious if IPK will be the same price as before and also will I benefit with BTF by just purchasing the 99.00 product and not all the upsells?
