New Years Eve 2012 Mindset Prep

Hi everyone! As the day dwindles down, I started thinking about emails I get. Desperation. Sadness. Hopelessness. I know for a fact many people are sitting there looking at themselves as failures for the past year, and wondering if it’s even wise to hope for success in 2013.

Well this is the year of kickassedness. Yeah that’s right I made up a word to describe just how awesome you’re about to be. You are about to break every comfort zone you have, put yourself out there 110%, and enjoy the rollercoast that is known as pushing yourself.

Kickassedness? Really? Where did you come up with that word? I love it and just added it to my dictionary LOL!!

You are right; if we don’t push ourselves out of our comfort zone we will never know what level of greatness we can achieve.

I am enjoying your blog more than ever with your butt-kicking/encouraging words. I have subscribed to several blogs from this community and I can see people are embracing your teachings; myself included.

    (1) Moving out of our comfort zone.
    (2) Giving 110% in their business models.
    (3) Giving back to the community/to their readers. Offering encouragement on all levels.
    (4) Really listening to the readers.
    (5) And my favorite, being transparent.

Keep up the good work Tiff! Wishing you and everyone here a safe, wonderful, and prosperous New Year!

Happy New Year, Tiff! Thanks for the pep talk. The red dot on your forehead is not that noticeable, so don’t worry about it. 🙂

    Happy New Year, Tiff!

My best wishes for a fabulous 2013 for everyone!

    Right on!!!!

Waking up with that “kick butt” attitude is a great way to get your blood flowing and get you moving about your day. Those good days translate into good weeks … good months … and finally, a good year!

It all begins with having the right mindset and a good plan. I believe having those two things in place will put you strategically in the winner’s circle.

May 2013 bring us goodwill, success and much happiness!

    Happy New Year!

    Kickassedness for everyone!

  • I have named 2013 “The Year of Doing!” It is time to stop talking about all the things I would like to try and just get out there and go for it.

I told my sister the exact same thing about trying something that’s a bit scary. Even if you fail, who is gonna care? you will maybe, but only for a little while, then that adventure becomes a hilarious story that you share with friends.

And what if you succeed? Then you will enjoy the bounty of that effort.

An example of stepping out of one’s comfort zone – Here’s my next vlogging vid:

Good luck to everyone and have a happy 2013 🙂

  • Sara says:

Happy New Year to you Tiff! Thanks so much for the encouragement! 🙂

  • I’ve spent the last couple weeks of 2012 setting goals and planning out as much as I can of my marketing strategies for 2013. 2012 was a year in which I stepped totally out of my comfort zone and put myself out there business and personal wise. Thanks for the great post! I know that 2013 is going to be an amazing year!

  • Catherine says:

Happy New Year Tiffany. You have inspired me both in business and health wise. This year I will be doing videos and blogging a lot.
Its time I get out of my comfort zone and starting doing things I am uncomfortable with. Love having your dog Honey in your videos too. I have a half chihuahua named Honey too but she is a bit bigger than your honey.
I plan to also comment more on blogs. I am real uncomfortable with that so that is one thing to tackle in 2013. Happy 2013

  • I am so looking forward to 2013. I have such wonderful plans and finally having hubby home with me full time is something I have long looked forward to.

We watched the new movie of Les Mis last night and what a message. Lots of messages. Like being the person you know yourself to be, not who others think you are. Like having the conviction to act on your beliefs and desires without worrying about the consequences. And on a personal level, believing in yourself. Watching Hugh Jackman sing and act so powerfully made me realise that he could do that because he believes in himself and KNOWS he can do it.

Kicking butt in 2013? Oh yeah! Believing in myself? I finally do.

    I hope everyone has a wonderful 2013, I know I will. 🙂

One year ago this very week, I had not made a dime online. 2011 came and went and I was feeling desperation at the end of the year for more money and time wasted.

But thanks to being in a marketing/mentoring group, I launched a product in January 2012. That product made me about 10x more money than I thought it would, right out of the gate….and paved the way for my affiliate income to take off in 2012. I quit a job I hated and now i have my own business and I work from home. I NEVER want to work for the man again!

The affiliate income is down (lists get tired of you if you’re not constantly launching!), but I’m planning on my offline marketing consulting biz being my primary source of income and I’ve made major strides to that end this year. Launching a WSO and monetizing my life this past year gave me confidence, some added skills, and TONS of new friends/associates across the globe who are my new co-workers!

So, I just wanted to chime in here and say if you don’t think you can do it, because of shiny objects or fear of failure, believe me, I’ve been there…the best advice I can offer is to quit buying every little thing, but do invest in a good mentor or a paid membership group where you can get the support of the members.. That, and attend live marketing events if you can – the contacts will make all the difference in your marketing career.

Happy New Year Tiff and everybody else – push it this year so you can look back on 2013 as YOUR year!

    Happy New Year, Tiff!

Great post..!! I’ve definitely got some plans for things I want to try to accomplish this year. I have a good feeling about 2013..hopefully, 13 will turn out to be a lucky year for lots of folks in this case. Bring it on! LOL I can’t even see the dot until I really looked for it ..LOL I’m sure it will go away before too long. :O)

  • Hi Tiffany – Happy New Year !

Just watched your video, and I feel just as you do – this year I’m giving my all to this business, and I shan’t be wasting a moment !

Love your posts and encouragement, and look forward to a great year ahead.

  • Just popping by to say all the best in 2013 –
There are only a few that I follow online just to hear what’s happening and your one of them.

Thanks for the last 12 months Tiff..

I raise my cuppa to a much better 2013 for all of us.

  • Debi J says:

The red mark will go away Tiff…it just takes longer now that we’re over 40. That’s what they keep telling me anyway…hmph! 🙂

Today and tomorrow are the days I figure out my daily plan for 2013 and get it written down. I had to do some backtracking today so I fell a bit behind and that ok.

I know from my own past with my networking business that I kept on a roller coaster for a while income-wise. Come to find out (after many hours of personal development and looking back at the things I’d learned as a child) I was afraid of both failure AND success. I’ll elaborate on another day in a post but suffice it to say that, once I figured out THAT I was doing something and then added the WHY I was doing it… my business moved forward without as many missteps and I had my first $25k day.

I hope your readers take the time to look at why they might be sabotaging themselves this year so they can move forward. After all, how else are we going to have people to party and travel with?! LOL

Here’s to 2013 being our best year yet…what EVER that looks like!!

  • Tamsin says:

Well, I’m just gonna have to keep “shakin’ my booty” to stop my butt being kicked by you 🙂

Here’s to a year of action, action, action …. looking forward to success!

  • What you talked about in the vlog is exactly my plan for 2013 (and I even got a few day head start lol), I’m just jumping out there. It’s taken me almost 4 years to go from joining Squidoo just to write to where I am now making frequent sales. In 2013 I’m (as you said) going balls to the wall in affiliate marketing and with blogging and branding myself as a marketer. It’s scary, but I’m finally ready.

Good luck to you in the new year!
