Outdated Strategies, Rude People, PLR Length, Upcoming Stuff
Good morning, afternoon or evening depending on when you happen to read this! I’m checking in with some marketing mailbag stuff, responding to rude people, and wanting to pick your brain about upcoming stuff, so watch or read for your convenience!
QUESTION:
“A lot of the info is old on BTF, I get the technique and understand how that may work. Do you use backlinks for your sites? I know you said blogging and WP Robot was what you did. And Keyword selection, some of the features are no longer available on Market Samurai how do you or how would you select your keywords in conjunction with your domains? Like I said the BTF videos/information are old, you have been there so you would understand and I figured I could get some honest answers out of you….”
ANSWER:
Old doesn’t necessarily mean outdated. I’m not sure if a site will rise and rank as high with only 3 blog posts as it did pre-Google change but the basic domain and keyword choices would be the same. To be honest, I usually defer to my Google keyword tool. I don’t even both with the 2 paid tools I have. On blogging and WP Robot, I use WP Robot on some tangible sites that I don’t want to mess with myself anymore content-wise. I don’t use it on all of my sites and when I do use it, it’s only the Amazon module. Best to check with Kelly and Mike on how BTF strategies are working currently because they’d be more in tune with it. I kind of picked and chose what I liked and moved on.
COMMENT by “Amy:” (whose email bounced back to me – coward!
Your webcam is too close to your face, we don’t need to see you up that close and personal and you should raise the camera a foot higher, its at a bad angle and what’s that brown cushion that’s always behind your head? If you want to be taken seriously make your videos more professional looking not amateurish.
REPLY:
I would love to go off on someone like you but I’ll try to remain “professional” as you requested. The way I do my videos is just as if I were sitting across the table from you. I’m not going to push my camera back or put it a FOOT higher so I have to look up at the camera…?! My brown cushion is from my comfortable sofa, and I’m sorry if it offends you – I highly suggest you go follow someone who is way more professional for your tastes. I refuse to sit at a cherry or mahogany wood desk with a leather back chair being uncomfortable just so you deem me more professional. LOL! And I won’t stand in front of my bookshelf to appear more intellectual. Sorry, I’m not smoke and mirrors. I’m me. I sit my fat ass on my comfortable couch and do my work, period.
QUESTION:
I’m selling PLR and find it difficult to keep my articles under 500 words. What should I do?
ANSWER:
Many people would love to have that problem. And many buyers love longer articles! So just go with it – a PLR buyer can always chop it up and edit it to what they want it to be later. And you should tally the total page count for pricing, not just per article.
QUESTION:
I read on the internet a couple months ago about Google downgrading several sites, including EZA, HubPages, and AssociatedContent because they are considered “content farms” and their value to Google was reduced by 90-95%. Website Magazine came out in their May 2011 edition giving the list of the top 27 sites (according to Organic Performance Index (OPI)). Some of these companies/sites had to lay off their staff due to the drastic effect it had on them.
I’ve been try to watch all your videos on YouTube that I can find and bought some of your eBooks as well, and they all strongly suggest postings on EZA and HubPages to get good backlinks. What do you recommend now?
ANSWER:
I remember the Squidoo slap a long time ago – it caused Squidoo to sit up straight and clean up the site, which is what’s happening now with EZA. So if you article market, then I would continue using those sites because I have a feeling they’ll be gaining back their credibility quickly.
The one single best thing I have to say though it create your own content on your own site. If you’re going to be submitting articles anyway, why not grab a $10 domain, stick a blog on it, and post your content where you have control? And then your blog can point to your other sites. You can create several of them.
NOTE:
A lot of people, when I’m doing a review, will email me asking me a question about the product – something general, like the Bring the Fresh question I read or very specific about keyword research and what the product recommends. I highly suggest you reach out to the product owners in those instances to see if they’ll help first ONLY because it’s not my product – I might accidentally steer you wrong especially if I’m in mid review and don’t know myself if I’m doing it right. Now IF they don’t reply or help, then I’ll try to wade in and rescue you but I worry about misguiding people with this stuff.
UPCOMING:
Instant Authority Program – final proof ordered. I will probably create an Amazon course of my own later now that I know how to do it and I’ll do it from scratch. They left out too many tiny details, which I struggled to muddle through and I don’t want you to.
Amazonian Profit Plan – HAVE to write, excited to move on. Federal legislation to tax purchases on the Internet is being introduced – I wonder if it’ll make Amazon okay and keep affiliates? They claim only 1.5% of their revenue is from affiliates though, so maybe they’ll just scrap it?
AdSense $100K Blueprint – noticed some long tail traffic trickling in really slowly. I just did some bookmarks for my site, but I’ll be moving on there. No clicks on ads yet.
Become a PLR Writer – probably going to wrap that one up today and work on implementing the little tips she added to my own business that I hadn’t thought of. What I loved is that it didn’t cause me to change anything I did, but I got to add TO my own strategies, which makes it a complement to my PLR ATM course.
Future Plans:
I plan to wrap up reviews and launch some good PLR packs over the next week or two, then start work on:
- 2 new IM Writing Tips courses – one for me, one for Mom. What do you need most next? We’ve done Gathering and Structuring Ideas and the Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation reports. Now it’s time to do the actual writing.
- 2 new reviews – I’d like to hear suggestions, but I would LOVE to have one of them be Chris Farrel’s membership. I hear some amazing things about him and I love amazing people and products, but it’s up to y’all. I also would love another Amazon course, since I’m trying to build that up. But I can do those on my own – what do YOU guys want? A few have mentioned Google Sniper…?
ALSO:
Some people have asked if I’m in danger from the Texas wildfires. So far about 1,000 square miles have burned – about the size of Rhode Island.
They’re to the west of us, inching closer. We smelled smoke the other day and saw a haze but it’s not menacing to my area yet.
But thanks for asking! I was amazed at how quickly life rebuilds after a fire…I saw a patch of grass roadside that burned recently and in about 4 weeks it was so lush and green you couldn’t tell there had been a fire! Amazing…
Tiff

Tiffany, I do have a question or topic for a post. It certainly is not long enough for any type of review, in terms of testing one against the other, but I have been wondering about something…
The reason I ask you is because you seem to have a good knowledge of the mechanics of squidoo. I have had some lenses for years now, and just recently decided to throw some backlinks at two of them. I was shocked that all of a sudden, I started to get sales. Now, these sales are not significant in terms of retiring any time soon, but it did make me wonder about something…
Do you think that people are more likely to buy products on a squidoo lens than on an individual site? Do you think people have the perception that squidoo is more legit or more honest? Remember that the buyers do not necessarily know that everything, whether from your site or from a lens, is going through amazon (or whatever).
I do get plenty of sales on my network of wedding sites, but I have the personal factor attached to those. So people trust me.
But, as a general population, are more people inclined to shop through a lens than through some website they find.
I hope you can dedicate a post or at least a paragraph to this BUT, understand if that is not feasible. We are all busy and users tend to have lots of ideas for more work – LOL
PS – about the lady who doesn’t like your couch???
The funniest thing I find about that statement is – I knew you from other places such as WF, but I did NOT take you seriously. I just thought you were another marketer blowing smoke.
THEN, I saw some of your videos, like the ones she mentioned, and I instantly clicked with you. Because you had not done some grandiose video in a helicopter, or in some fancy hotel, I suddenly felt that you were someone I would like to meet, and started watching your FF page and this blog. Plus, I like your dog running in and out of the video. More natural to me.
Anyway, just my opinion on that email…
I’m not sure Brendz – you’d probably have to take two identical topics, do the identical strategy on them and compare notes. I know one reason I started using Squidoo (pre days when I knew how to build sites), I did it because it looked professional. I think that matters to consumers. I don’t think they specifically know what Squidoo is, like they would Amazon – it’s not a household name yet.
Rude People: Anyone who comments about what you look like or how your cushion is positioned obviously has no clue that it is CONTENT that matters. And you are the queen of great content.
Love your e-book empire. Love how successful and real you are.
Donna
Just wanted to thank you for posting the text under your videos. I appreciate the fact that you care enough to provide both.
As a speed reader, I can read through text in much less time than it takes me to watch a video…
I have to admit, on sites that only provide video (often of unmentioned length), that I often just click that little red X in the corner and move on.
Thanks again!
~ angel
Did you take an official speed reading course? I did, and people are always asking me what to take…
I have to agree. I have always been a fast reader, though not really a speed reader. I do a lot of my online reading after my little girl is asleep or while she is napping. Since I am always close to her while she is asleep, I HATE the trend towards everything being on video. It takes me much longer to watch a video, it is easier to reread something if I don’t understand than it is to rewind over and over, and it is quiet.
I love that I can just quickly read through your posts rather than having to take the time to watch a video.
Amy’s comment made me laugh. I am always worried about doing live videos since I don’t like the way I look on camera and I can’t find a great backdrop in our very full house. The fact is, when I worry about stuff like that, I am not getting videos out there!
Exactly! I used to worry about being fat. Then I said, “Self…you may be fat, but you’re good people, so since you’re not trying to romance anyone,, fuggedaboutit!!” So I did
We absolutely LOVE your response to Amy’s rude comments. You go, girl!
I was thinking how great you looked today, and then you read Ami’s email. I am still laughing! You go girl!
LOL on the Video Placement comment by Amy.
Personally I’m going to try and do mine a little further away, but for “my own” reasons which have absolutely nothing to do with anyone else’s placement!
YOU GO GIRL!!!
Roz
Hi Tiffany,
Wow on the rudeness of Amy!!! I personally like the videos of you and I have a brown couch too.
It never ceases to amaze me the rudeness of people when they have the anonymity of the internet.
“She” probably makes no money. LOL.
Heather
Amy’s feedback gave me a good laugh – thanks for including it here
Funny, but I’ve never noticed the webcam being too close to your face or the ominous brown pillow behind your head, because I prefer to read your posts, not watch the video.
Maybe Amy missed all the text below the video somehow? After all, she could get the information there without having to resort to your “unprofessional” video
All she needs to do is imagine you sitting several feet away at a big executive desk while she reads it and her whole attitude might change…
Rock on girlfriend! Thanks for posting Amy’s critique of your video style – that was freakin’ hysterical. I loved Amy’s crappy writing – that was the best! From a pure entertainment perspective, loved it. God bless you for not ripping her head off.
Yes, she would be much happier finding someone else to follow, wouldn’t she?
Re: the IM writing course. If you have experience with Constant-Content.com’s article submission requirements and recommend a style guide that might help writers avoid having their work rejected for what feels to be inconsistent reasons? I’ve googled the site looking for discussions about it and also spent a little bit of time on their forum, but wasn’t able to find a suggested style guide.
Thanks Tiffany. Love following and love your couch pillows.
oops – Love following *Y-O-U* and love your couch pillows.
well i love your couch videos
hopefully people like theat girl find a nother mentor to follow , if shiny things are so important to them.
keep strong girl
big hugs
lex
Hi Tiffany!
Just stay the way you are! I love it!
Though I think that once I have more money, I will maybe go for the leather chair option… The one my friend had was soo comfortable. Sitting on a sofa makes my back hurt over time
But we are all different and that’s what makes us great, isn’t it?
Nice to hear from you more often again, I was getting worried!
Greetings
Tashi
Glad to know that you are okay! We were a little worried with the CNN article today saying that Texas was burning all over…hope that they get the fires under control soon!
Your Info Is the best around and you are real to us .You do nor try to just sell sell sell You teach then sell if it is good enough.
Keep on doing what you do do well
Hill
Review: Mike Koenig, if you can jump in now on Main Street Marketing Machines 2 (Fusion) that would be amazing.
I am looking for certain understandings, for example: what % of the course is pre-fab, what would be needed to add to yourself if you want to take the system to another target language (how much of the pre-fab would be NOT useful for another language).
I would love to see you take it and show me that it can be done (even in English
even in the US
), because you are the real deal and I trust you.
If you are too late for Main St., then what about Traffic Geyser?
Tif,
As for Amy, I am proud you didn’t stoop to her level. You are more of a lady than she is, based on her comments. You are doing great. Don’t let a two-bit hussy like her interrupt your day. if it wasn’t for her lousy use of English, I would picture her as an executive in a very prestigious job. She’s probably a very picky Virgo who hates her life and just wishes to pick on you, because you are more successful than her.
What do you think?
Take care.
Harry
Hi Tiff,
Good write up (as usual) just on the Chris Farrell membership, I am ‘also a member there too, however I don’t frequent it much these days…
I got asked to move the sites I had hosted there as I was eating up too much of their band width! (so much for free hosting!) and the icing on the cake for me was one a member asked “Jeff the web guy” If they had any affiliate training, to which Jeff replied “NO” – They will look into it in the future!
I asked if I could be an affiliate for the the last product launch of his with Mike F and CF answered yes no problem, then I got an email from the JV manager after applying saying that they only allow folks with a 5000 list in Internet marketing to promote it!!!!
CF a great guy that teaches you how to sell his own stuff is the feedback I get from other members, as well as them asking “is anyone making any money yet?
I am sure that some of your readers will have a different experience to me but I say nope to CF
I say review Google Sniper
Hi Tiff,
You go Girl! I was very proud of you how you stood up to that pushy broad. I love your soft comfy couch. Keep doing what you are doing because that keeps us all strong. Thank you for all that you do~
Krystine
Good gravy, Amy! Get a grip, would ya? I wish I was as successful as Tiff – in just the SAME way! I’m so not interested in being Mrs. Uber Professional!
Which means, Amy – that Tiffany and her blog and her teachings are perfect – for me!
Like Tiffany says, you may be needing to find someone different.
Don’t know why Amy is so persnickity about your videos. I would love to have mine look that good. I’m having a terrible time getting the right distance and height, good lighting, etc.
I only have a small tripod to put my Mino HD on so I tape, check, get up on try another place, tape and get up, make changes, and on and on. Do you keep your camera on a fixed place so you can just start taping without all the “getting ready to start” stuff? And, am I correct in thinking that you have Dragon on while you tape?
Thanks for being you.
No I don’t but what a good idea! I have a small desk in front of me I put my tiny tripod on
Chris Farrell is awesome. The only membership site I belong to. Sometimes I think I should quit buying all the WSOs I’m addicted to because there’s probably a solution on his site if I just looked for it. His videos are SHORT and sweet and he breaks everything down for the newest of newbs to understand. The forum is wonderful. I get responses to my questions within minutes, literally.
“Federal legislation to tax purchases on the Internet is being introduced – I wonder if it’ll make Amazon okay and keep affiliates? They claim only 1.5% of their revenue is from affiliates though, so maybe they’ll just scrap it?”
This is thankfully going nowhere, at least with the current representation as it is.
Thanks for the greatest laugh I’ve had today, reading “Amy’s” comment. I’m sure it didn’t make you laugh…but people just AMAZE me. Why focus on such negativity and send something like that? My goodness…
Why not give a review to Traffic Grab by James Scrmako?. I’m watching the free vids and like it, BUT I’m trying NOT to spend more cash than necessary (I have a lot of info already), and I’d love your opinion.
Thanks for the reviews and your take on EzineArticles. What do you think of their new Diamond level for writers? I am at Platinum level, and haven’t gotten around to applying, yet. Do you think it is a worthwhile thing to do?
Didn’t know they had one, Linda. LOL! Maybe ask in Warrior Forum – they’ll know!
Tiffany
I’ve been meaning to write you for months about “that brown pillow”. So while I’m at it let’s chat about some other items, shall we? Your mother for one. She doesn’t look like I think she should look like, so could you change mothers for my viewing enjoyment? Then there is that dog of yours. Personally I prefer Bull Dogs, so getting one of those would be much better for me. As for your “office” you could at least go out and rent a fancy office space that would be more to my “professional” taste. And last but not least is your knowledge and writing style. They also need to be improved upon. And while you are at it, you could try cranking out twice the work you are producing out of that amateur office of
yours. Oh! Wait, why am I visiting your blog and taking the time to watch your videos since I am so professional? Silly me.
Amy, do me a favor. Find someone else to read and watch. Thousands of us enjoy and love Tiffany just the way she is. We learn something new every blog
post. We purchase her products and read her books. We appreciate her opinions and admire how professional she is (even in answering your post) at all times. The only one appearing amateurish here is you.
Holly
Love this, Holly! Love it!! hahaha!
LOL Great bit of humor there – I loved reading it!
Hi Tiffany
I loved your reply to Amy which was spot on. Some people find it much easier to criticise than to do their own thing.
Your face looks great up close and the cushion is just fine and I love the dog!
Best wishes
John Watson
Best wishes
poor Amy – and I’m sure every course she’s bought has been “crap” because she read the whole thing, and didn’t make a dime LOL
Far as reviews, I really haven’t seen any products (under 997 bucks anyway) that really impressed me, other than “Home Run CopyWriting”, which PLR and all is going for 37 bucks during its development… they’re teaching the AIDA model, which is tried and true.
Of the other stuff I’ve seen (I spend too much time at webinars) ListMachinePro was the most stunning presentation I’ve seen in months, with a WordPress plugin that does everything… and I mean everything… don’t have my notes here, but it included setting up membership sites and automated webinars. There was a bunch of other stuff (like literally ten more things), that I wouldn’t know how to use, but an experienced marketer would drool down their chins over.
I don’t HAVE that kind of money (and I heard they raised the price to two grand for unlimited sites) but it’s probably the only true “gamechanger” I’ve seen this year.
Tim and Adam (from Mobile Monopoly) were the hosts; Jason and Dax were the presenters…and what a job they did… the webinar was scheduled for an hour and a half; it went over three hours – and hardly anyone left.
It’s not a newbie tool, not only because its expensive, but because it would take a seasoned marketer to get its potential out. Still… I’d really be interested in your take on it, if you do that sorta stuff.
Have a great day, and you’re still one of the three folks on my email list that I will open first
Hi Tiffany
I just had to let you know I love your video format. I do feel like you are sitting across from me – just two girls together chatting with a cup of coffee type thing. This approach works for you and it helps people like me get more confidence about using video because you are not all stiff and formal about things.
Don’t change
Lisa
Hi Tiffany;
I would love to have you review some of James Martell’s courses. He has a number of different course that you can find links for at http://jamesmartell.com. One of his major courses is The Affiliate Marketer’s Super Boot Camp at http://www.affiliatemarketersbootcamp.com/pages/tour.html
James and Arlene are very hard working, honest marketers that we can all learn from
In response to the rude person “Amy” and any others who might agree her statement,
IMHO the fact that there’s a dog running through the videos, or the video being to close, brown pillow, etc… sets Tiffany apart from anyone else and shows me that,
I am dealing with a REAL HUMAN BEING and not a professional drone rambling at me.
I’m listening to a person who knows what they are talking about and follows through on what they say they will do.
There are plenty of professionals,
but how many of them make us feel like they are still on the same level as we are
struggling to learn new things just like the rest of us.
One major thing that sets Tiffany apart from anyone I’ve seen who really knows what they are talking about and is on the same level as the rest of us is CONSISTENCY & HONESTY.
and for that I Thank You. (stay the way you are!)
p.s. Also waiting on a New Amazon Review or Course. I’m watching the tax issue also in Cali.
(fingers crossed)
Thank you again for your great blog. And for the chuckle about Amy’s criticism of your video– OMG — too funny and I love your reply. Imagine.
Your blog is all about content and personality and Honey and it does indeed feel like we’re sitting here having a coffee.
You have changed my online life in more ways than I can list.
I think Google Sniper 2 would be great. It fits in with the Amazonian Plan, IPK, and Sara Young’s Easy Paycheck Formula.
Thank you for being you.
Cheers
Joanne
Tiffany, I would like to Thank You for everything that you do here and when it comes to your products.
As for Amy – she does not make a pimple on your backside so you have no reason to tell her about YOUR Business. I am sure you know this is why you became your own boss – so you do not have to deal with idiots like Amy.
So, forget Amy and move on. I love watching your videos! Thank You Tiffany!
>I sit my fat ass on my comfortable couch and do >my work, period.
Ha! That’s fantastic and that why we love you.
Reading that just brightened my day. I can’t explain exactly why, but it did.
You gave me my laugh for the day with your response to “Amy”. Love it!
Hi Tiffany,
Please don’t ever change your style of vblogging! I hate all these so called professionally produced videos out there.
In regards to future reviews I would love you to take a look at Auto Blogging Blueprint 3.0 as I am currently working my way through it and would love to hear your opinion.
With regards to the Chris Farrell Membership, I used to be a member and found it great but left as I decided I wanted to go another way with my online career.
Kate
I love how you handled “Amy” and pitched a product at the same time. You rawk!
Rafael
You guys rock
Isn’t that ridiculous what Amy did? I hate cowards who use a phony email address so I can’t write back` – and people who nitpick stuff like a couch cushion when there are true scammers out there to be dealt with! UGH. lol
I’m still laughing, even after reading all the comments…
I’m so glad you’re not going to change, love everything about your videos and your writing style, including your very funny response to Amy’s “helpful” input.
Am missing your mom and the Baby Boomer project, tho’
PS Just finished PLR ATM, will have my site complete by the end of April, thanks so much, learned a BUNCH!
Tiff..just another reason why I Like you….besides all the good stuff you share…
The comment about ” I sit my fat ass on my comfortable couch and do my work” is absolutely priceless! And ..it’s you! If people don’t like it…to bad!..
Just keep doing what you’re doing…period
Gary
I loved your answer to Amy. It’s just as down to earth and honest as you are. Apparently rudeness has no bounds, and Amy needs to read something like Internet Etiquette for Dummies.
It’s a good reminder that when you are about to post something vicious, stop and think about whether you are about to come across as an idiot, a jerk, an a$$hole, or all of the above.
Still love ya, Tiff. I ESPECIALLY love that brown pillow. Gawd, I look forward to seeing that brown pillow! Bet you could sell it on eBay for tons of $$$$! LOL
Wanted to second the person who thanked you for posting the print version of your messages. I, too, can read much faster than I can watch videos. Plus, the printed word holds my attention better. I know it takes extra time, but there are those of us who truly appreciate your effort. I also have a tendency to skip sites that only post videos
On a different note, it appears that Amy has struck a rather dissonant chord amongst your readers
One can only wonder what the purpose of her message was intended to be?? If it were truly meant as constructive criticism, she would probably have used a valid address and delivered her remarks a little more “professionally.” Apparently, it was just a “jab with a sharp stick” to see if she could rattle you.
) Must not have much going on in her life.
Hi Tiffany,
When Amy asked; “what’s that brown cushion that’s always behind your head”?
You should have answered…. “it’s a brown cushion Amy”.
Some people are strange and sometimes you have throw them back in, with the rest of the fishies to figure it out for themselves!
Kal
I joined Chris Farrel’s membership site for a month and enjoyed it but found that I need a mentor who will couch me. I have joined up with John Thorn Hill for One Month Mentor and his check lists for completion are beginning to accrue already! I still belong to BTF and check their forum and can’t stop buying WSO’s. I even signed up to be an affiliate for Tiff’s fantastic looking Gathering and Structuring Ideas course yesterday but I am drowning here. When I look at my in box and my hard copy real estate assignment on my desk next to my lap top, I cringe at myself. Yesterday I attended a creative writing workshop and discovered the joy of free flow writing. We were given a trigger and then had to write for five or ten minutes on each subject. I made a note of your imwritingtips.com – thanks Tiff. I know I need them!
Hi Tiff,
Well, first of all, sorry I’ve not got going yet! I have bought some of your stuff including the Plr Course and am now reading through the Ghost Writing Course – really good stuff but I’m a bit slow taking it all in. Well, I’m now in my sixties so maybe that’s it lol.
I can’t comment on some of the things you talk about today as I have so much to learn but I can comment on your videos.
It’s because you are so natural that we trust you. Your little dog is with you while you’re working – great! Like my own little dog, Eddie a jack russel/chihuahua who sits with me some of the time too while I work it’s lovely and that’s how I like it.
Stay on your comfy couch and just continue as you are. Your work is great and I hope to learn a lot from you. I have bought a few courses in the past and none have been as honest as yours. Just wish I had found your website beforehand. I love doing my recipe site but I also want to do some PLR as I love writing so I appreciate all you have to say. So, it’s a big thank you from me for all you do and the way in which you do it.
Gaynor
Cowards are such cowards. I just can’t stand them. I’m a newbie follower of yours and one of the reasons I’m a die hard follower for life now is that you are “real”. I can see that you started out just like me and you still care about helping people that are struggling and need info. What the heck does a pillow have to do with knowledge? I trust what you have to say and that is all that matters. Keep the pillow and stay comfortable. It’s your life, not hers. Thanks for your generous spirit!
“Sorry, I’m not smoke and mirrors. I’m me. I sit my fat ass on my comfortable couch and do my work, period.”
And that is why we love you and follow you! You’re real people, and let I know that it can be our dream/reality also.
Thanks Tiff for being you. Don’t change!
Mary
Meant to say “let us know that it can be our dream/reality also.
Hey Tiff,
I have Google Sniper 2.0 and think its a pretty good course. I haven’t made any money from it yet,
But I haven’t done the neccesary work either.
I’d like to hear your take on it though.
Thanks,
Ron
Dear dear Amy, Tiffany absolutely has to keep the brown couch cushions behind her so that Honey has a place to lay down when grandma comes to visit and takes up her place on the couch next to Tiffany!
Tiff, I was laughing so hard I was in tears. It took me back to a business presentation I did (in Dallas actually) and the conversation I had to have with those attending, after I stopped mid-presentation, took off my heels, and turned around to see the look of horror on their faces… absolutely priceless!
It’s amazing what people’s expectations are of the “dog and pony” show that they expect to see in order to “prove” that you are truly earning the income you say you are…
Keep up the great work!
Debi J
LOL still laughing at the Amy message.
Tiff I think you should get rid of that brown cushion and use a purple one please, purple is my favorite color so you should change your cushion just to suit me.
Could you please also change your eye shadow color to purple. That would suit my taste perfectly and for my personal taste you do not look professional unless you have some purple around you.
Whenever Honey appears in your videos I would like her to be dyed purple too please
Sheryl
PS. If you do decide to go for the wooden desk and big leather chair look then please make sure that leather chair is purple leather.
I was going to ask about the wild fire! I heard it was getting pretty close to DFW and that’s the first thing I thought of
Glad you are ok…
Enjoyed the video, written version (listened and watched – both help), and the comments. I wouldn’t still check in with your blog if I was partial to perfection in how you look, sound, act, live, who appears in your vblogs, etc. Did I miss anything? Can’t imagine where Amy was coming from.
Like Gaynor, I’m in my sixties and finding that everything takes longer to accomplish than when I was younger. That said, I finally decided to create a PLR provider site, the first pack is up and my sister is testing the system.
Did want to say that I also purchased Peggy’s eBook and yours and hers did fit together like hand and glove. I’ll send you a link, if that’s okay, as soon as I go public. Should be this next weekend.
Tiffany, one of the reasons you are so popular is that you are real, and you are successful. That gives the rest of us hope that maybe we can have some level of success as well. Thanks for being you!!!
To the anonymous coward “Amy”, which is probably an alias.
To hell with the way a person does there vids, it is the content (in Tiff’s case, great content) that counts.
Instead of making snide remarks under a probable alias, and using a non-existent email address, why don’t you just hit the “unsubscribe” button and be on your merry way…dumb ass!!!
Yes! Please do a review of Chris Farrell’s Membership Site. The free info I’ve been getting from him is priceless!
If you want to keep on the Amazon theme there is Matt Carter’s “Rapid Profit Formula” and Sara Young’s “Rapid Paycheck Formula”. Both upstanding, no B.S. people like yourself.
As far as Amy goes, who died and left her a professional videographer? I think you are doing just fine, Tiffany. Me thinks she might be a tad bit jealous. There’s a critic in every crowd.
Take care,
Cindi
I’d love to see Tiffany’s take on those 2 courses. I have a friend who is involved in the Easy Paycheck Formula, and she raves about Sara, although I don’t see that she’s earning much yet. Matt Carter is one of the few others I’m still observing – I haven’t purchased his program (because honestly, I think I already know as much as is in it and I don’t need to buy another anything right now) but I’d love to see it reviewed here.
I am really enjoying the vblog videos. Glad you got back to doing them. I look forward to your finishing the Adsense Blueprint review. And of course, we love to see HONEY! Take Care, Sam
Re Amy, it is unfortunate but it seems rudeness is in these days, what goes around comes around, nough said!
I for one(along with many many others)appreciate your honesty, sincerity and your desire to help others reach their goals.
Beauty comes in many forms and yours shines through brilliantly!
Ya know, I have to agree with Amy. I refuse to watch any more of your videos until you hire a production crew and rent a Ferrari.
I think the appeal of the brown couch is it gives hope to those who don’t drive sports cars or collect surf boards. You look and sound like regular people – and it makes it seem possible that anyone with a bit of drive and focus can accomplish good things.
Potpie Girl, Marlon Sanders, Travis Sago, Jimmy D Brown and many others have down a great job of building brands and making money without looking glitzy. They build a following by acting like the real people they are.
lol collect surf boards – I know what videos you’ve been watching!
Not only am I lacking a surf board collection, my hair will never be that perfect. LOL He does have some great content though.
Hi Tiffany and ardent followers,
I’ve really had a ball reading your comments about Amy. She must be a silly nit picker! I’d never really noticed all that stuff she mentioned (on the few occasions that I do watch the videos – prefer to read). I’m always more intent on learning from Tiff (and it’s plenty) and also having a good laugh in the process (you do have an attractive sense of humor, & I love it!).
I do love your response to Amy: “I sit my fat ass on my comfortable couch and do my work”. That really made me laugh till I cried!
:-)
The reason I always read your posts is because you’re authentic – you’re the real thing. No ‘smoke and mirrors’, like you said. It’s really refreshing having someone like you in my network, and you are one of the very few IMers I invest (please note, I consider it an investment not a cost) my time on you.
Like everyone else has said, please never change. ‘Amy’ can go and look for someone to follow. We DO take you seriously (who else did she want to take you seriously? Hah? We’re people, ain’t we?
)
‘Amy’, here’s a lesson for you. Be yourself; everyone else is taken. And when you’re yourself, you’ll attract just the right people to you. Those of us who enjoy Tiffany’s style are the right audience for her. If it grates you, please move on – it’s not a loss to any of us.
Whew! That was a mouthful!
Thanks Tiff for always being you.
Carol
Hi Tiffany,
Really enjoyed your post today.
Amy is so rude, if she wants slick flashy video productions, there are plenty of those around, many of them made by scammy marketers who offer little substance.
Regarding Amazon courses for review, Sara Young’s Easy Paycheck Formula is good. I have seen some good reviews for Jan Roos as well.
Google Sniper and Chris Farrell Membership as far as I know are not specifically geared towards Amazon but it would be good to see reviews of them as well.
Thanks.
You know, some people go through life suffering from a “rectal-cranial inversion.” I believe the so-called “Amy” is one of them.
Anyway, Tiff, just keep on keeping on and remember, the so-called Latin phrase:
“Illegitimus non carborundum”
And, sit on and wherever you please. After all, it’s your house.
As a student of Latin I love that! “Don’t let the bastards get you down.”
Isn’t it great how people think they can tell you how to come online in a video and teach people for free. Love it that you said shove it!
Honey,
Regarding the criticism by that so called profesional who was critical of your human, – remember that we are the ones who have trained our humans, and you did a perfect job of training yours.
If it was not for her style and method of presentationm we would never be able to force our human dad to watch so that we could see you as you help her.
Keep up the good work
Licks and Kisses
Tassimo and Cocoa
Ha Ha I loved your comment back to Amy.
Don’t ever change the way you are. I never did trust those marketers behind some expensive desk or sitting on the beach with a drink in their hand. They all look very fake in my opinion.
I like seeing a real person who doesn’t hide the fact there are kids or dogs in the background (or a brown pillow). lol
Thank you for being the real person you are. I love your humor and I have learned so much from you. I look forward to all your reviews.
Tiffany,
Thank you for truly holding back and keeping it professional
Amy, Amy, Amy or whatever your name is.
What did you expect Tiffany would do? Say “ok, thank you Amy for that amazing advise!” “Geez, I wish someone would have told me that before.” Amy, Amy, Amy..don’t look at Tiffany, look in the mirror and criticize away. Silly girl ..
Tiffany, has anyone told you that your face is flawless? You still have that glow, are you still eating raw? Love the upcoming projects. I’m not big on reviews but I love your work and your projects. Already have plr atm, ghostwriter and Gathering and Structuring Ideas when you say you are almost done Become a PLR Writer, how will this be different than the plr atm please?
Your energy is contagious even sitting on your butt, must be the brown couch that gives you that extra energy or maybe it’s the brown dog or wait…no it’s the brown cushions.
Happy Easter BTW
lol no flawless isn’t a word that’s ever described my face
I really didn’t have a lot of ideas for what you might review…until I started cleaning the “junk” out of my files.
I ran across a product that I found years ago (and obviously was impressed by enough…at the time anyway…to save the info for when I had more IM knowledge.
I’ve read several places about you considering Membership sites so here’s my suggestion:
Memberspring by Gary Ambrose (he also owns the ListWire free autoresponder)
From what I’ve seen in his video, he bases what he teaches on Evergreen content and the whole “Work once, get paid forever” business model.
Oh yeah…he also appears to be “real”…but I’ll have to go see what color his couch cushions are and get back to you!
Thanks,
Debi J
Tiff,
After I posted I read your most recent blog post and it got me thinking about how many posts I’ve read from your followers about the same thing…being unsure of what you’re doing as a New IMer is a huge obstacle and the thought of a Membership site may be too much.
So, another product I ran across that seems like it might be along the lines of what you’ve been reviewing is “My Game Plan” by E. Brian Rose.
Since it’s supposed to cover setting up “simple” products quickly without intimidating new IMers, maybe it could assist those who don’t have their own products yet (and chances are they already have your newest marketing product on structuring ideas and such…this could push them to implement maybe).
Debi J
Hey Tiff, I so enjoyed the “Amy” comedy, & all the replies. That fool is a hoot! I think by now you surely know that we all love your couch, your face, your dog, your mom, & especially love that brown cushion!
lol that brown cushion is a hall of fame icon now
Hi Tiffany,
It’s so refreshing that you are “real.” Please STAY that way!
My suggestion for a review would be Sean Donahoe’s new product “Extreme Niche Empires.”
Thanks for all the honest information you provide your readers.
