Make Money Selling Crafts - and Help a Family in Need
By Tiffany | December 14, 2007
I found out via word of mouth about a woman in Australia named Sandra who is selling a great $7 report ($14 fr resale rights) about how to start a Lolly Pots craft business, but there’s a special reason behind why she needs to sell the report and give away her money-making secret: 7 kids who lives are in unpheaval.
Sandra says, “I live in Australia and have been a short term foster mother to teenagers for many years. I usually only have one or two at a time. Two weeks ago I was asked by the social services if I could take on a family of seven as they don’t want to separate them at this time of year. I had to think about this as I already have a young lady staying with me but I couldn’t say no. I met the children last week and the social services delivered bunk beds to my home a few days ago. What fun and games we had putting them up and trying to fit them in.
I brought the children home Thursday 13th. Their ages range from 8 to 17 years. Their Dad just went to prison and their mother is missing has been for a long time and cannot be found. So as you can imagine they are a very sad bunch of kids. But polite and well mannered kids though. What I would like to do is buy them each a Christmas Gift but I do not have the money to stretch that far…”

Why do I care about this situation? Because of my own personal history. I have a sister who I love very much, and she’s about 6 years older than me. At a very young age as a teenager, she became addicted to drugs. Our family didn’t know how to handle it - it wasn’t anything we were accustomed to. Over the years her children have been through this very same situation - neglected, abandoned while their mom was in and out of jail on Meth charges.
I rescued my own father from her home about 3 years ago and discovered a scene so horrid I can’t even describe it here. It was a nightmare. I don’t know why their dad’s in prison or why their mom disappeared…but if you can spare the $7 and contribute to Sandra so she’ll be able to give them a Christmas this year and let them know people care, I’d be personally grateful.
Many times over the years I’ve rescued my own niece and nephews and had to spend money I didn’t really have clothing them and giving them food and toys they had to quickly leave behind. My sister is clean now and thriving. She’s beat her demons and I’m so glad we were able to step in and be temporary caregivers to her kids while she was fighting for her life.
Thanks for considering Sandra’s offer.
