PLR Store Affiliate Money Is Amazing

On May 6th I sent out an email to my list that my PLR Mini Mart affiliate program was ready. I had been holding out for DLG to implement the upgrade for an affiliate program but since it was delayed, I finally bit the bullet and pulled my hair out trying to get Jrox JAM to work (thanks to the recommendation of Peg Baron).

What’s happened since then?

I wanted to share an update with you. It’s been 117 days since I launched it. I wanted to show you what my affiliates have earned (and generated for me, too!):

In those 117 days, the affiliates have EARNED a total of $10,369.50 for themselves (and that same amount for ME, too). In fact just so far this month in August, they’ve earned $3,309.00 and generated the same for me.

Since it was implemented, it’s earned me $88.63 per DAY on autopilot. And this doesn’t include my own sales that are NOT affiliate related – this is PURELY affiliate sales you’re looking at above.

So I have two things to say to my readers today:

1. You need a PLR store.

You are ALREADY creating content for an online business – whether it’s article marketing, blogging, membership sites, etc. So why not do the SAME for a site where you write product once and earn on it without an end date in site?

Buy PLR ATM, read it and implement the thing! Even if you outsource the content to a ghostwriter – let’s say you could afford one $10 page per day to outsource – at the end of each week, you’d have a 5 pack ready to go. Or, write it yourself. Go slow for all I care, but CONTINUE building. The reason my affiliates do well is because there’s a lot of PLR to choose from – and no, I didn’t START with that much. I started with one little pack. And then another. And another.

2. If you already have a PLR store, you should bite the bullet and get an affiliate program.

I would love to be promoting more PLR packs. I only know of a few right now and the more there are, the more I contemplate making a large review site for PLR content with my affiliate links.

I paid a little nominal fee to have the techie people at JRox install things for me. It wasn’t a lot – but it helped. And thank God I did – that’s a nice thing to have, an extra $88 a day coming in that’s automated!

And I know lots of people looking for PLR to promote as an affiliate – heck all of us PLR owners like to cross sell each other’s stuff – why? Because PLR buyers aren’t monogamous with their PLR purchases, and that’s fine by us! They buy from all sorts of stores.

So what was it you were waiting for again? Oh yeah, you’re busy reading that new latest, greatest WSO you just picked up that taught you how to game Google or make $98,387 in 24 hours with a G+ spam account – gotcha!

Tiff ;)

    Hi Tiff,

I just tried to sign-up as a MiniMart affiliate. It asks for a tax I.D. I don’t have one. Any suggestions?

    ~ Merry

  • Loved the sarcasm at the end of your post (LOL)

  • LindaP says:

Even though it was just a minute portion of the overall affiliate earnings your affiliates had to date, I can honestly say I have earned more through your affiliate program than through any other I have attempted. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you!

  • Philip C. says:

Wow Tiff. Congrats. That is really cool and thanks for the great bit of advice.

BTW. The $3.50 unpaid commission? Honey and I will get right on it.

    • Tiffany says:

LOL That’s commission I haven’t paid out yet because it was just earned today :) ~ By the way Honey got a bit of her nose tip whacked off for chasing the cats. It’s a nick but she you can tell she’s humiliated.

      • Philip C. says:

Wow, sorry to hear that. I have a good buddy who has a chihuahua and a cat and he has told me similar stories about the cat “mopping” the chihuahua from time to time.

Anyhow, doing the math. That is basically two and a half “g’s” a month of what is probably for the most part passive income. Cool

The thing with Honey and the cats. Kind of akin to the second Holyfield-Tyson fight. ouch!!!

    What does PLR stand for?

  • Shazi says:

After reading every email and every blog post (I do mean EVERY!) I always come to the conclusion that somehow u hv some pretty amazing *psychic* powers and you are talking to *me*.

Another kick-in-the-behind from the IM Boot Camp General :D

    Hey Tiff

I have just gone through this same learning curve about getting an affiliate program up and running. Peggy also helped me get through the learning curve. Am just working on adding banners and content in my program. Then will launch it officially.

    Hi Tiffany,

I bought your PLR ATM book a few months back. I started my store and almost immediately saw a need for mobile marketing plr. So I made a 20 pack of mobile marketing plr and then ran a wso.

I’m fairly new to the Warrior forum but it didn’t matter. I sold 28 in the first three days at $4. I then raised the price to $8 (I meant to raise it when I sold 20 but it happened overnight)

So I made $112 right away, but of course you have to minus the $40 for the WSO and the paypal fees.

Then, I sold a bunch more at the $8 price even though I took a short trip to seattle and haven’t been posting in the forum at all. I’m wondering if people have been finding it via google – as the wso is number 3 in the SERPS.

I put the pack up on the forum at noon, PST on a friday. I am going to bump it on Monday, just to see what happens. I made enough already to bump it and still have some profit left over.

AND, the best part is, it’s all written, and I can sell it forever. :) so thanks!

p.s. can I get a link from here?

$10,000 in 117 days on autopilot? That’s insane!!

I have an affiliate program set up for my store through e-junkie, but I hope to move to something more professional and easier to use soon. I will definitely take a look at JRox because I like the set up of the affiliate area. I’m hoping to switch to DL Guard soon as well.

  • Marc says:

Hmmm, ya know I never gave PLR much thought. But since 11 of my sites felt the blunt Googles hammer (adsense slap + de-listing!) I am now left with 5-7 great articles that I wrote for each site on a variety of stuff.

I promoted PLR ATM but never bought it. Since you look so nice sitting on the couch I may get it and start my own thing. ;)

  • Bridget says:

Well, I wasn’t an affiliate yet but this has certainly compelled me to sign up!

  • Alice Coaxum says:

Congratulations on all your affiliate’s sales. That is wonderful! Do you have to be an LLC or other type company to start an affiliate program?

  • Pam says:

Tiffany, I have been in the process of researching this. I know you recommend DLG but if you had to do it again and get an all in one product which would you buy. I am looking at DAP and aMember. Would love to hear your thoughts.

  • OMG Tiff,

Talk about inspiration.. sheesh! Today is my one month anniversary, and I paid out my first affiliate commission of a little over $8. I’d love to rev up more affiliates for my program.

Also, how do we go about partnering with you and getting you to preview our content to see if you’d be interested in being an affiliate? I’d love to see these kind of numbers.

I’m encouraged to keep plugging away so that $8 can turn into $8,000 in commissions!

What’s your secret to getting affiliates to actually “work”? I see that many of mine are simply not willing to put the work in.

Would love to learn more about what you do to beef up your affiliates.

Thanks Tiff for continuously inspiring us to keep pushing!

I hope this isn’t a shameless plug, but can I share my affiliate link? (btw

    Thanks

    • Tiffany says:

      Good question!

If anyone wants me to consider promoting their PLR, email me a sample pack JUST for review, not for me to use. Explain to me how your store works. Things I want to know:

1.) How many writers contribute to the content? I want to know this because if 1 pack you send me is great but you outsource other packs I might find awful, then I want to see both styles.

2.) how much is the commission %?

3.) what rules do you have for your PLR?

Just basically tell me a bit so I know what to convey to others. ie: are the packs limited, etc?

Then show me my affiliate link or where I sign up.

On getting them to work, I keep reminding them of the money to be made. IE: I tell them when my hosting pack sells an amazing amount so they too can promote. I ran a special WSO with their affiliate links in it as a way to say thank you. I ran specials where they could make good money thanks to my site discounts. I send them readymade content to use on their blog or autoresponder to promote things.

My grand daughter is wading through the plratm program. She has had her site up for about a month and she is an affiliate to Tiffany’s prgram.

But, for many affiliates, like my GD, I think the problem is she has to build hereself first. I mean, people don’t just show up to her blog, or her website, or her affiliate links.

So, she is trying to get known as someone who does PLR and she is branding herself in a particular market, but all this takes times. And, it is alot of work, just trying to keep up with all the promoting.

So, it makes it that more difficult to promote another’s program, too, when trting to get oneself up and running.

She has made a sale with Tiffany’s program and she was ecstatic.

But, at the end of the day, if affiliates do not already have a good following, it is hard to get sales. You need potential customers and that all comes with time and building one’s own brand.

      • Tiffany says:

Oh yes it doesn’t matter which (or both) types you’re promoting – your own or someone else’s – it’s a build up of branding and traffic :)

  • Mage says:

Hello Tiff, Can anybody be listed in your PLR Mini Mart? Or to be listed, he/she has to buy your PLR ATM? Thanks.

  • Luckily I was able to set up the affiliate side of my PLR site with Clickbank with a one-page script called LinkLok for $39.95, so Clickbank take care of paying the affiliates for me.

  • Sam says:

Wow Tiffany, great commissions for everyone. I am going to start reading PLR ATM right now. Fantastic Opportunity here.

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Sam! Hope you enjoy hearing from Rick – I sent him your way because you’re ni the same niche, and both seem to be seeking JV or partner opportunities!

  • Bonnie says:

    Hi Tiffany,

I learned several blog posts ago, when Tiffany nudges, it’s time to spring into ACTION!

I am following your lead and have installed my affiliate program software. I am working on the banners and will add them sometime tomorrow.

Afterwards, it will be time to test it to make sure it all works as it should before I announce it and encourage signups.

I have tons of PLR I’ve finished, but didn’t get to post it all to DLG. I’m trying to find that happy medium between getting it all posted, tested and working with the affiliate software.

I have to hand it to you, girlfriend. You’re clearly more organized than I am! Are you certain you weren’t a juggling act before you ventured into Internet Marketing? :)

    Thanks for the nudge!

    - Bonnie

    • Tiffany says:

Bonnie you got it! I never was like this before which is funny. I was always a one focus girl but this marketing is something I’m passionate about.

  • Kay says:

    Tiff…
Just a reminder that us folks in the great state of Illinois cannot partake of the wonderful world of affiliate marketing. As you know Amazon does no business at all in Illinois since our Guv. Pat Quinn virtually shut down affiliate selling.
Love your work and all that you share with us.
    Kay

    • Tiffany says:

Hey Kay! I’m gonna look into this more. I can’t see you not being able to set up an affiliate program for your digital downloads…? Let me find out.

  • Tiff, I opened up PLR ATM and some of the videos do not work and they have been kicked off you tube. Is that right? I bought the course last September! Time goes so fast when you get old. I have been busy ghostwriting, but now want to get the PLR store going. Help, please.

    • Tiffany says:

Oh no yes Elizabeth! I forgot about those so I just edited it out :( If I ever find them through my kept videos I’m wading through, I’ll add them back and let you know where they are. There’s nothing technical in there – those are in the other videos. These are just little tips like using a Woman’s World magazine to get ideas or making a powerpoint and putting together PLR tips onto the screen. Nothing earth shattering :)

    • Tiff, I listened to Craig’s ghostwriting videos again. They cannot be beat. I set up a page for plrwriterbet.com. Now, I can at least get writing the plr and will work on the store as I go.

  • Jeannie says:

That’s fantastic news Tiff — maybe you could do a little primer or blurb on JRox JAM, mentioning the cost to get or to have it installed. I’d love to know more about it.

Once my kids are in school (they start later up in the Northeast), I’m going to start cranking out even more PLR and think this is an awesome idea!

As always, thanks for the tip!

    Best,
    Jeannie

    • Tiffany says:

Jeannie it was SO confusing to me I wouldn’t know where to begin. LOL! I had to get Jrox Jam to help many times, bugged poor Peg to death. I will admit it’s a flustering experience but worth it ;)

  • Ruth says:

Setting up my affiliate program was a huge learning curve, but I’m glad I did it. It’s not making anywhere near as many sales as you, I only have a few affiliates who regularly make small-ish commissions but it does seem to be growing.

Plus the good thing about being an affiliate of a PLR creator who updates regularly is bonus sales on newly released packs. I earned a commission from your store today and haven’t promoted it since the last sale :) And some of my own affiliates have made sales on my new PLR before they even promoted it. That’s the beauty of PLR :D

  • Peggy Baron says:

Love those results, Tiff! And thanks for always being so transparent. :)

I think it’s important for people to realize you didn’t just create your PLR then set up your aff program and let it sit – you keep on creating more and more PLR.

How much new PLR have you added SINCE you started your affiliate program in May?

Plus, you had sales and gave affiliates material they could use to promote your PLR as well as encouragement. It’s like an affiliate program needs to be watered to get it to grow. :)

    Thanks,
    Peggy

  • Michaela says:

    Tiffany,

That sarcastic comment and this article is just what I needed. It’s so easy to get off track, until you see someone else’s results. This type of business is perfect for a super busy mom of preschoolers. Keep us posted, your results keep us motivated.

By the way, I purchased your PLR ATM program a couple of months ago and I’m psyched with the possibilities. Thank you for putting out such a quality program.

  • Ron says:

I both appreciate it and use it myself. It is a perishable skill so you have to keep at it to keep your edge.

  • I totally agree with Michaela.
I purchased PLR ATM in April and have been sooo busy with all my other shiny new objects to put it to good use!
Not any more – what a wake up call!
Why have I been hanging back when it’s plain to see what can be achieved – write once, sell over and over again.
So yesterday, I finished my first 5 pack and am so excited to get my PLR site up and running.
I woke up in the middle of the night dreaming of domain names for my new site – gotta get out more!
Thank you once again for that kick up the backside and I look forward to joining the PLR community.
    Julie :)

  • Hi Tiffany

I only recently discovered you and your blog, and I’m so glad I have – there’s tons of fantastic information here!

I’ve been writing and selling PLR for a little while now but I don’t yet have a store. That’s about to change though because I’m going to be launching one in the next few weeks.

Excellent blog you have here and I plan to stop by on a regular basis.

    Cheers

    Daniel
