Price Testing Via Various Websites
I had a customer from Building an eBook Empire ask this question yesterday: ” If I want to try out 2 different prices, one for clickbank affiliates and the other from direct sales off my website with payment via paypal, can I do that? And how?”
Good question!
First, yes you can. You can price stuff differently for everyone – one for specials you run in the Warrior Forum, one for your list, one with a coupon for JV partners, one for affiliates, etc.
All you do is set up different web pages. For one eBook I launched for example, I tested out different price points. Half my traffic went to a higher price point, and half went to a lower one. The higher one performed better, to my amazement. It was onyl a $10 difference per sale, but that’s $10!
So you might have index.html that you run via PayPal for your sales and index2.html for your ClickBank affiliates. I did this for testing purposes, too – to test graphics, for instance. I found my plain Jane page performed better than my graphics page. Who knew?
You can save your index.html page as index2.html and then just make a price change on index2.html – and paste that URL into ClickBank!
That’s all there is to it ![]()
