Organized Chaos in the Life of an Internet Marketer
By Tiffany | November 13, 2007
I have a lot of plates spinning in the air, and it’s a sign of success, to some degree. I’ve really begun tightening my schedule. I have an ordinary spiral notebook I keep with me at all times to jot down ideas I want to possibly add to my business.
In it, I have pages for each project. One for the PLR Mini Mart, another for my Build My Lens business, one for my upcoming eBook on Hub Pages, and so on. Each day I review the pages. I have to-do tasks I need to accomplish on a daily basis, such as posting to my PlanYourChristmas.com blog or updating my contestants for the Ever.com challenge I’m hosting.
I also have long-term tasks. Each night, I create one page with my list of tasks for the day that I pull from all of the pages. So the PLR Mini Mart page might list 12 packs I need to create, but Tuesday’s task list only has 1 pack on it. I am saying NO way more often and finding I’m becoming highly productive in the process.
Now I have to cut down on time spent trolling the Warrior Forum. My friend and mentor, Craig Desorcy of WeHelpNewbies.com was right when he said I do better with daily guidance. I do. I just have to be my own guide and keep myself on track to the level of success I hope to achieve.
