Putting My Golfer’s Instinct to Work for Me

    By Tiffany | October 18, 2006

I sometimes suffer from the same plague infecting other ‘net marketers – starting one thing before I finish another, so I really have to stay the course from now on. Since I was 3 years old, I’ve been an avid golfer - 3 months away from turning pro after college until I found out my son was on his way, which threw a kink in my plans (I wouldn’t change it for the world). One thing that crept up in my short game for years was not following through. Nothing worse than chipping or putting and realizing you let your fears stop you short.

I have to apply the same mindset to my Internet marketing efforts. My Dad used to say, “If you don’t follow through, the ball’s definitely not going to get there. If you do, then you just might have a chance to sink it.” I hear ya, Dad!

I really can’t wait to get started with the product line for TiffanyDow.com. The Web 2.0 interview went great. I enjoyed the interaction with Howie and finding out his thoughts on what I had to say regarding the use of Squidoo to forward your web 2.0 marketing tactics. Found out a few things I didn’t know, too!

You’re always learning with Internet marketing. So now I’m off to finish A Writer’s Guide to Internet Marketing. I’ve really put this off for far too long, and I have people patiently waiting to read it, so I owe it to them to follow through.

I want to start at the base of ‘net marketing and build all the way to an empire, showing people how to do it as I go along in a simple, straight-forward way. By the way, if you missed out on my Squidoo report, shoot me an email here and I’ll get one to you right away – for FREE.

    Tiff :)
