Liz Tomey My Quick Cash Workshop Review 3

Today continues on my review of My Quick Cash Workshop by Liz Tomey but before we get started I want to address some previous comment stuff going on. A few people had trouble accessing the product after they bought it OR they wanted to access the whole thing at once rather than a trickle. They emailed me. I emailed Jennifer (because she’s who I’d been dealing with).

I was really interested to see how Liz would handle this. Would she hide and do nothing? Would she post a snarky comment to her customers like Dan did? Would she email me direct too and promise to make it right or blame my customers?

All that is ultra important to me. So I want to tell you what happened today. Liz did post in the comments section to address the issue.  She promised to make sure people got access. She then emailed me to explain how people can contact her direct with problems (which reminds me, where have y’all contacted her already, since she told me to have you open up a private message board?).

She also said she WOULD accommodate those who wanted full access immediately BUT warned against it because the whole point is to do the homework, etc., and results have been better for people who did it in bite-sized chunks. She expressed a real desire to help and make sure it was set straight and stated that unless you confirm your subscription via the Aweber link, the module access won’t get sent to you. So make sure you do that!

So far I like the way she’s addressing it in under 24 hours for me. It’s been 13 since I contacted them about this and let them know what was up. We’ll see how it all unfolds. So let’s move on because so far, I DO like the course and AM learning from it!

I’m on Module 2 now – about Making Money with PLR. First I downloaded the resources pack.

Video 1 is a little over 5 minutes. Again, Liz does an overview and I like that. She explains why this strategy is important.  She has a formula for getting things done.

Video 2 is again a little over 5 minutes.  This one is about product creation and research. Just main overview stuff still.

Video 3 is a little over 9 minutes long. It’s primarily about spying on the competition.

Video 4 is a little over 5 minutes long. This is interesting because I’m still waiting on Sam of DLG to release DLG PRO, so until he does, I can’t have an affiliate program for my PLR store (except individual packs being promoted via EasyClickMate), so I hope to learn how to do this myself.

Video 5 is more spying (aka: case studies) and she goes over the three-pronged income possibilities for selling PLR. She is going over some of the same things I do in PLR ATM but kind of analyzing other people’s sites to give you ideas and possibilities.

Video 6 is a little over 6 minutes. This is when we see the planning unfold for our own stuff. We gotta find a different method of watching her write though – the red mouse pen takes too long and it’s messy. She goes over what she’d do for a membership PLR model.

Video 7 is a case study of one of her own sites. It’s a good business model. Kind of what I do.

Video 8 is over 16 minutes long. We get to see the whole process unfold. Now I don’t have to use her methods to develop my product since I already have my own PLR store, but it’s a good lesson for those who don’t have the information. She does a good job showing you how to map out what you’re going to sell versus what you’ll make.

I wish she’d talked a bit more about what you need graphics wise if you sell that. For instance, you need to make sure your graphics person knows you’re selling PLR to it. Some won’t allow it. And they need to give you the PSD files so that your PLR buyers can edit the image.

Video 9 is a little over 4 minutes. You see her talking about WSO listings again and then the homework. There’s nothing mandatory but she says if you plan to do it, come to the webinar or submit your questions and she’ll help you with it.

This module had pros and cons. The good is – she does a fantastic job of giving you a business model. She explains it well, its profitability, how you go about getting from Point A to Point Z. But the in between specific details aren’t really laid out for you and that CAN be understandable if you know what you’re getting. Here’s why – with something like PLR – she’d have to make this almost an entire course in and of itself to teach every detail in selling PLR.

She’d have to teach how to write sales copy (the way she does it), how to write or do an eBook, etc. All those details are left up to the resources she provides and recommends. Liz DID say in her sales copy, I think I remember, something about knowing you’ll need to invest in other tools/resources. But for those thinking this is every detail explained, it’s not – there’s more to learn.

This portion of My Quick Cash Workshop is a good way to get a business model and see how someone making money analyzes things to make her own creation decisions. But you’re going to definitely need more guidance IF you’re new to this PLR business model.

I may have been more bored in this module because I already do it my way and I know all the ins and outs. Whenever I learn new stuff, I get excited and enthusiastic. So if I’m lacking, chalk it up to that combined with a bad mood today. I’m satisfied that this module explains the PLR business model.

Ah I know what was left out. She mentioned in video 4 that she’d show us how to do our own affiliate program for our PLR. I didn’t see that anywhere.

Liz Tomey My Quick Cash Workshop Review 2

Going through Module #1 now in the My Quick Cash Workshop by Liz Tomey. In the last blog review, we went over the sales copy and cost and what the course is about. First thing I notice is I like the way this is laid out. Whereas Deadbeat Super Affiliate kind of had me reading, watching, scrolling to find stuff, this simply tells me to download something, then I have two options for the videos – download or watch online, simple as that.

I download the file. I start watching online. There are 10 total videos in module #1.  And this is Module 1: Money Right Now Affiliate Programs.

Video 1 is 2 minutes long. LOVE the way it starts – she gives an overview of the plan THEN teaches the details. In every course I’m reviewing, I’ve banged my head a few times wanting to know what’s going to come next, haven’t I? So this is a perk. She says something in here that lets me know Liz has ethics guiding her. She probably doesn’t even realize she said it – but it’s something many people don’t even bother doing. (I pick up on these little things).

Video 2 is a little over 10 minutes long. It has me open a resource and follow along with the video – I like that she goes INTO the document to show you what you’re looking for. I sign up at the place she teaches and there’s a free and upgraded subscription. Grumble, I wasn’t gonna sign up because it’s $47/month and it looked like it was for the selling side (and I don’t know what it does) but it has a 1 month trial of $17 a month so I’m going for it – plus I realized only the paying people get access to the top products to promote, so I want access to that, too.

I’m going to do a sample for my Earn Affiliate site. In fact I’m going to put this product (since she has it in there) over there because I will have honestly reviewed it so I won’t be promoting blindly. She shows us how to vet the product for promotion. Very impressed with this video – I am learning a site I knew nothing about that could be GREAT for my money!

One thing Liz says confused her about this site – she had to ask support about – but she doesn’t explain to us how to find that, so I’ll need to get clarification on that, too.  I emailed support. They emailed me right back. Nice. Ah she shows me some cool way to find good products to promote on that site. I like this and WILL be using it. The video ends abruptly – probably edited later.

Video 3 is a little over 9 minutes. She starts off with solid info and another way to find the products she prefers. I like this too. The way she wants us to do them, I won’t be able to promote her course. I’ll need to find another one. So I will. I always do it their way! REALLYYYYYYYYYY like the little point she makes about why you should never ask anyone to spend over $20 with you unless…I won’t tell :) She gets it – ethically. SO hard to find in this industry!

I love watching her analyze product choices.

Okay here’s why I am flipping out (and SO relieved). I have no clue why, if I’d heard so many good things about Liz, I never bothered to go see her products. Why did I wait until she came to me for a JV? (And I am thankful her stuff is genuinely good because it would have sucked having to say, “I’m sorry – it’s not a good fit for my list” but I would have! I have before to others!)

I am LEARNING things here! Most powerful is how to get commission payments INSTANTLY – not waiting 2 weeks on ClickBank or 1 month on PayDotCom – but NOW. And MY people need to learn this, too.

Her teaching style is very impressive. She’s ethical. This stuff is going to work. AND…some of this is 100% of the commission. That means you get all the money. Why? The product owner lets you do that so you get them a list and they can then sell to them later.

Video 3 was so inspiring and I got lots of good information from it.

Video 4 is a little over 10 minutes. She quickly goes over some other options while the first site was done in-depth. This is good because it’s basically the same vetting process. While Liz is talking and analyzing out loud, she often blurts out a little tip I hadn’t considered. I love those – in ALL the courses that I review. The resources Liz gives you for module 1 are really good. I also feel like I’m probably one of the last marketers to go this route and all because I didn’t even stop to think to seek this kind of stuff out – I just happened upon it a couple of rare times.

Video 5 is a little over 13 minutes long. Let me just say WHEW. Okay early on today I said Liz proved something ethical to me. Then when I saw her “picking a product” I was SO worried she wasn’t going to go the extra mile, thinking it may have just been lip service. But in this video – SHE DOES! Woot! I would have had to do a scolding if she hadn’t. Liz discusses buying through your own link. I agree with what she says.

She teaches a step I always take but I use my own method. It won’t affect any success or failure rate if I do it my way or hers so I’ll do it my way. One thing that is a bit annoying is watching her try to type with her mouse (like drawing with it). I’d prefer a vocab txt keyboard deal.

Video 6 is almost 12 minutes long. So far she showed us how to pick a product, how to analyze it, and how to do some other things. Now we’re moving into advertising territory. I like that she goes free and paid routes. One little problemo – she’s using an affiliate link in the WF sig file, which isn’t allowed. Not sure when this was filmed. But don’t do that. Not sure if it’s “legal” with the redirect, though. Maybe – no clue. A safer way is to link to a review on your own blog for this.

Just make sure you don’t get banned – some mods can be persnickety. I like her participation for the forums. She’s not a spammer. She’s genuinely helpful. And it’s OKAY to be genuinely helpful while exposing your links. This video ends abruptly, too.

Video 7 is a little over 10 minutes long. She continues on with some free advertising. She’s very thorough in explaining her thought process and how she works online – this is important! It’s how she built a reputation as a power player in Internet Marketing with strong ethics onboard.

She talks about spending an hour a day doing this strategy. Good thought! She’s not a “this requires no work” girl. She says this is probably a “money this week” (possibly even this day) system. I agree. At the end of the video she says I have homework! I like that. A task! Oh hell yeah – she says it’s not optional. She’s kind of a butt kicker and I like that attitude. Another thing I like? After you do this task, you are to report to her the results and if they aren’t good, she takes you BY the hand and helps you learn. WOW.

Now the homework is really good. I am personally going to do it in some of the places she teaches but I’ll leave my WF stuff alone. I’m immersed in that and don’t want to sacrifice my sig file for a promotion like this. Instead, I made a blog post and I’ll link people to this: Article Marketing Profits (and yes, I really read the product – not for advanced, but perfect for newbies).

Video 8 is a second over 12 minutes. One of her resources is a free course about email promos. I like the way I do things. I won’t change that. I totally understand the need for that – most email marketers suck. But I am very ME in my emails, and I’ve been told many times I convert higher than any big name guru with a larger list. So why change what isn’t broken?

She gives a specific range of things she’d go with for the paid promotions. I like that. And it’s cheap the way she does it.  I’m going to run an ad to test the waters.  I did it – we’ll see if it gets results. Should be fun – it’s something I’ve never done before but have been told to.  Cost me $29. They have them cheaper. It’s what I chose. Don’t know why I was so intimidated.

Video 9 is under 8 minutes. I’ve actually used this 1st resource tactic for something else before. The way Liz teaches paid advertising, it’s to do with instant traffic at a very low cost. You test the result and only redo those that work. Good strategy – I hate the blind “invest $2,000 for this much traffic” advice I see out there. That’s too scary!

Video 10 is the end of module 1 – a little over 5 minutes. She even tells you an alternate – if you can’t afford the paid options.  I like that she’s calming. Many newbies feel if they don’t have thousands of dollars to invest, they won’t succeed. Not true! And she’s very cautious in how even she spends money – and I’m sure she has it to spend.

The last portion is her giving us a nice timeline and calendar for planning. I love this! Wish she’d come organize my scatterbrained self. I’m not focused. I manage to make money, but I’m sure I miss out because I’m all over the map.

Loved Module 1 of Liz Tomey’s My Quick Cash Workshop and will be morphing some of this into my Frankenstein methods as I go.

More review of this course coming!

Liz Tomey My Quick Cash Workshop Review 1

Hi everyone!

This is a different kind of review situation. Liz’s affiliate manager, Jennifer, contacted me wanting to see if Liz and I could do a JV together. Well I have only ever heard wonderful things about Liz (she’s a way bigger name than me in this industry) and people have said they respect her work, so I went to see what all products she had. I picked one I’d like to see and they didn’t offer that one anymore :( They suggested My Quick Cash Workshop instead. They sent me an affiliate link to promote (but I emailed back and asked for full access since – name or no name – I don’t promote unless it’s worthy of it).

And yes, whenever someone more experienced than myself contacts me and I have to be bold like that, it still makes me nervous – but oh well. I do it anyway! The way I see it is this – if they don’t like it, then they must have something to hide.

At first glance – the name – I was like, “Oh no!” Because it’s hype (but so is PLR ATM).  But it’s also what people are searching for. This product is different because it’s a 5-week course with personal interaction with this particular guru. It’s also higher priced than what I usually promote. IF it’s worth it FOR those who CAN afford it, then fine. If not, then I won’t endorse it.

The program is a one time fee – either $297 total once or two payments of $149. I do appreciate it if, when a guru sells a slightly higher program, they will give you a breakdown payment option to make it easier to afford. Now some of you are shrieking and saying, “$297!!!! I can’ t afford that!” And I do NOT want you to if it means you’ll not pay a bill or not have food on the table. And some have bought those $5,000 courses, so this is cheap to them. Personally, I always shriek even if I can afford it – so it better be good is all I can say.

So let me tell you my whole process here. I don’t personally know Liz. Never spoken to her. I know of her reputation. So I initially sign up for my affiliate link because yes, this is part of my work day. I go through her affiliate items and one is a video.

After her initial “I’m no BS persona” script reading, she gets into just being Liz. She’s talking the truth and I like that she’s real and blunt and bucking the trend of hyped up earnings.  This course is about realistic additional earnings, not $10,000 a month in 30 days.

This video shows Liz harps on something most people have issues with – focus! Me too! So maybe I’ll learn something myself. Now the video says you learn over a dozen things but the sales copy has fewer than that – so I’m not sure which it is yet.

So let’s start where I normally start in a review – the sales copy. Always read this thoroughly. I’m amazed at how many people skip it because they think it’s hype and then don’t even know what they just bought. With this sales copy, it’s pretty generic at first. It starts to get good in the “I want you to leave this page if…” section. And below we see what she’s promising:

Module 1: Money Right Now Affiliate Programs – this is about instant paying affiliate programs (I assume paypal payments).

Module 2: Money Right Now With PLR (Private Label Rights) Content – this should be good for my own PLR customers!

Module 3: Money Right Now With Traffic Services – this could be good (it’s a service, which is the top of those 3 steps I tell you to begin with) and it’s one area 99% of website owners don’t understand – including me sometimes, so hope I learn something here.

Module 4: Money Right Now With Blog Services – a local slant, which I’ve always resisted but we’ll see. Maybe there’s a way for a hermit to do it with no door to door. Again, this is services – best place to start for quick cash. Liz and I agree on this!

Module 5: Money Right Now With Setup Services – same idea as above – lots of money to be made here I’m sure. Imagine, real quick – you know how you’re actively pursuing “make money online,” right? Well think of the poor offline business owner who knows he needs a web presence and on top of his offline stuff, has to go figure out all this online stuff, too. It would be overwhelming.

Liz says this course is a combination of videos, mind maps, PDFs, and other teaching aids. Most course are multi media now. Once a week you get a webinar meeting with Liz. I like this! She’s also accessible via email, messenger, and phone!

She apparently limits the number of members at any one time to 50 total because of the one on one involvement she has with them. So the spaces may vary at times. Right now it says 39 spots open. It’s not an auto script, so they’d have to change it manually.

Okay let’s move on to another module of My Quick Cash Workshop. I have time. I’m baking with my kids – turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, green bean casserole, broccoli rice casserole, deviled eggs, rolls, and fudge. Whew! They love these big meals they can pick at for days. And it makes me feel cozy cooking while working.

Blogging Money Has Evolved – Have You?

Everyone wants a piece of the blogging money pie. There are tales (true, I might add), of people selling off blogs for $15 million. People making six figure salaries blogging routinely about this and that. Blog money is real, but you need to know how it’s evolving to have a true impact in the blog world.

Liz Tomey has a great (cheap at just $8.97) product called How to Make Money as a Video Blogger. Don’t panic! Video isn’t hard – you just think it is. If this tech dummy can do it, so can you. First, the author of this course is someone whose name resonates with all marketers. It’s synonymous with respect.

I started a video blog in another niche, which shall remain nameless. lol It’s a totally different world doing video blogs but one that’s lucrative if you maintain your momentum and don’t slack off because you have better things to do.

Text no longer does it for many consumers. Even on this blog I sometimes add video to it. I stick them on YouTube and embed them into my blog so visitors don’t have to leave to watch it. It’s a great way to build a rapport with your target audience and get them to trust you.

Check out How to Make Money as a Video Blogger and see if it doesn’t help you increase your online earnings!
