Conversation With Nick Task Revision
Okay I’m trying to not think about my root canal this morning so instead I’m working – digging into the Conversation With Nick PDF file from One Week Marketing and making the changes she instructs Nick to do in his emails with her. I did the branding revisions she advises and then went in an added some YouTube videos.
No details on this, but here’s a tip – don’t include the description in your YouTube module. It provides hyperlinks to the reader in many cases, so just do the other elements but leave off the description.
One thing I don’t like is the advice to lie on page 31. She tells Nick to say on his lenses that he followed the advice at (the ClickBank product he’s promoting, which by the way he talks, he has never even read), and it cured my slice (a golf term for those who aren’t familiar). I don’t like advising people to lie or give phony reviews. It’s unethical.
After Nick finishes 4 of his lenses, Jennifer says she’s going to go into the account and “do some things.” What things did she do? Okay next up I’m told to do a task but not told why. I do it anyway. This is for monitoring purposes.
The good thing about this PDF file is that things are detailed more – the sites we were told to do RSS tasks and blog entries for, the order of Squidoo modules (sorta) – at least positioning, it’s all spelled out. I’m just curious why she didn’t take the CWN and extract the details and put it IN the main guide. No reason not to and would have surely made readers happier!
Again, she says she’s going to “play in” his lenses. Hmm We don’t get to see what she’s doing to fix, add to, take away from or whatever his lenses. Oh wait! This time, she DOES tell him what she did. Cool beans. Okay I go and do some of the same tasks but I have to run for a bit. BBL!

One Week Marketing Day 5 Tasks
Well it’s early in the day but I’m going to get started on my One Week Marketing day 5 tasks. This day was short and I was told what to do, but again, no step by step for newbies on how to do it or guidelines on how much writing to do for this section. This is the kind of stuff that makes a newbie quit frustrated.
Here’s my new Bearded Dragon Blog. With no guidelines on specifics, I simply set up one blog entry for each lens and I also promoted the eBook itself in there. I also went in as a publisher and grabbed the Ezine Articles I wrote for every other post so that the blog would look full. She didn’t instruct me to do this, but I did it on my own.
