Tiffany Dow’s 30 Day PLR Challenge

Author: So by the end of my last blog post, I promised I’d have a new 30 day challenge in place. Let’s get to it, shall we? My challenge is going to be the 30 Day PLR Challenge. It starts Tuesday, July 12th!
What this means is, EACH day I will release at LEAST a 5-pack of new PLR to the PLR Mini Mart on a wide variety of topics! I’m going to whip out my list of topics that I share with my buyers of PLR ATM (people who are also building their own PLR stores) and I’m going to create a new pack per day for release starting tomorrow.
Now this is important for you PLR ATM students but don’t be afraid. Some of you an’t churn out a 5 pack a day – you can do ONE per day though! Don’t tell me you can’t!
I want each of you PLR ATM students to commit to doing at least ONE page per day. I’m going to drag my Mom’s butt into this contest and make her blog about it, too!
It means a new stock of 150 new pages for my PLR Mini Mart (minimum) and it’ll mean a new stock of 30 pages minimum for you, if you commit to it!

Maybe at the end I can think of something cool to do with our efforts. But you have to commit and check in and show us what you’ve done, okay? Could mean some great exposure for your own PLR site!

I’ve been writing for Demand Studios too and my PLR store has been taking a backseat. I’d rather write my own PLR, but DS pays twice a week. Right now business is a little slow at the store. This challenge should help.

There’s 2 of us working on the PLR site. A sort of duo.
I’m not good at writing on topics that are more from a female perspective. So Samanthas there to cover those. I’ll need to speak to her and see if she’s up for joining in.

Awesome idea Tiffany!! I’ve been slacking a little on PLR creation so I need to get focused again.
I’m in! I’ll commit to at least 2 pages a day. I would shoot for more, but I’ll be on vacation at the end of July so I may have to write more before or after to stay on track. Plus, 2 (or 60 for the month) is the minimum…hopefully I’ll get more than that!

I’d love to say I’ll do a pack a day but I always over-estimate what I can get done. So I will commit to 2 pages a day and if I can do more I will.

You need some acceptable writing skills. Doesn’t have to be blockbuster, can’t be unacceptable
Tiff, this sounds great. I’ve been writing a lot for Elance and some other freelance customers lately, and my PLR site hasn’t grown much. It’s time to kick butt!
At least a page a day, that’s what I’m shooting for.

I’m in. Just picked up PLR ATM on Saturday gone through everything and have 2 articles ready to go. Going back to school, as a teacher, in two weeks so I will committee to 2 articles a day.
Questions – maybe not the right place but I have a site where I’ve sold my original article writing services, do you think it is o.k. to use that site for my PLR or should I go with a new domain?

Not sure if this helps or not. I had http://www.writeontheedge.com long before I started my PLR store. Instead of creating a totally separate domain, I created a subdomain on the domain I already have. So my store is on http://plrstore.writeontheedge.com and I market it separately.
A swift kick in the backside is probably what I need too! I’m in for a page a day.

I’m in! My PLR store has been neglected lately so I could do with this to give me a kick up the butt and get it going again.
I am only going to commit to 1 a day at this stage though as I’m still doing writing work for clients that takes priority – so 1 a day it is for me

I must admit I have slacking off the content creation process. I have too many ideas and my hands are tied as to what to do first.
Keyword/market/competition Research, content creation, PLR store promotion, Networking, building list, taking care of list, website design, shopping cart, writing helpful blOg posts/populating my site – all the stuffs new PLR sites have to deal with. I was spread to thin that I tend to forget that if I haven’t got a substantial selection of PLR, I wouldn’t get that much sales.
I need this challenge! It will help me focus on the most important aspect if a PLR business – writing content!
1 page a day is too easy for me, I can do a 5 pack in a day but I dont think I can keep it up for a month. So ill just aim for 2 a day, like Kecia

I am in, 2 pages minimum a day! Tiff your timing is spot on for me.
I had literally forgotten about my plr shop, then this last week out the blue made 2 sales, selling 3 packs of articles. Was just going over my article writing training stuff and about to launch into some new packs when I get your 30 day challenge in my inbox.
Thanks for giving me, and other plr writers/store owners the motivation to get some more products out there.

I needed this kick. I finished a 100 Articles in 100 Days with Ezine Articles last year – that was hard!
Wow that would be hard Kathy! How did the articles work for you? I wondered about doing that challenge.
Tiff I had around 10 articles already written for one of my sites that hadn’t been submitted to EA so that gave me a head start. However I work on average three days/week for offline clients so that cuts into my writing time so it was just fingers on keyboard whenever I had the chance when I was home.
I really enjoyed doing the challenge and the personal satisfaction of finishing it a couple of days early. I also earned myself a lovely EA clock, coaster, mouse pad and mug!
That IS awesome! I love my coffee mug they sent me. And a fleece blanket, a hat etc. LOL!
Having just had the WSO epic fail of the year I need this challenge to drag me back up from the gutter!
Here we go at least an article a day!

Sorry you had a WSO fail Rach – you never can tell with WSOs so it’s best to focus on SEO to your own site. Glad you’re in!
Let’s just say this is perfect timing for me. I registered a domain today for this challenge and will get things up and running for this by friday. Starting tomorrow though, I will aim for 2 packs (10 articles) per week since I two work days per week are particularly long days and likely won’t get any writing done after them!

Going back and forth between a ghostwriting website and a PLR website. I prefer PLR and this challenge is cool. I will commit to 2 pages a day for 30 days. That should be enough to open my PLR store.

Great challenge idea! Think I’m going to go for 1 a day. I kind of know I’ll already complete this since by the end of the month I have to write a whole new big PLR pack for a new membership I just launched. But I think this will help me spread it out a bit so I don’t leave it all to the last minute, and hopefully get a couple of extra packs out there too!

My PLR store hasn’t gotten a new addition in weeks since I have been traveling and not writing. I have one more week of travel during this challenge, but this is the type of trip where I will have some free time to write.

One page for articles – about 400-500. Now on opening the files, right click and unzip them. Do you have an unzipper? Let me know via email if not and I’ll send them unzipped with URLs for the videos
