How to Twitter

Hearing a lot about Twitter lately but don’t know the difference between a Tweet and a Twhirl? Did someone call you their Tweople and you had a confused look on your face?
Don’t worry. You can learn how to Twitter, too.
Twitter is all over the media (Barack used it to reach his target audience). Everyone you know may Tweet on a regular basis. You need a Twitter account, too. Here’s the great thing - you never have to sit there and spend hours creating pages for THIS web 2.0 site.
Twitter is easy to sign up for. Once you have your account, you just post brief messages to let people know what you’re up to.
Can you use it for marketing?
YES!
Twitter is great for driving traffic to your domain. There are guides on how to get Twitter Traffic that cost $10 or so - a marketing strategy that fits any budget.
Is there a Do/Don’t list for how to use Twitter?
Yes, there is. If you do nothing but spam, you’re going to be 86′d from most people’s follow list. If you let them get to know you a bit (YOU, not your brand), they will follow along closely.
Learning how to use Twitter is easy and painless.

This comment is for everyone that’s new to Tiffany Dow. (oh yeah, you too Tif. hehe) I became a big fan of Tiffany Dow this past summer (’08). I’ve never met her or even spoke to her on the phone. I get no kickback for bragging on her. Ok, I’m starting to babble…..again!
I just wanted to say that if you are on the fence about buying any of Tiffany’s product’s, I am here to give my testimony that she writes Good Stuff!
So, if you haven’t already, go buy all her stuff now! Besides, she gives the best support than any Guru I’ve bought from.
If you don’t believe me, here’s proof….Because of what I learned from Tiffany about building Squidoo Lenses, I have a very young Lens that even though I’ve not done much to it lately, still has a respectable LensRank, AND..When I first built it, the LensRank went from the 700,000 range, up to the 30,000 range in about 14-16 HOURS!!

It is definitely important to learn “How to Twitter” to promote and brand you, your products and services.
