Oh man! What a bummer about your lens Tiff!
So you have warm weather? How nice!
It’s like a monsoon here in the Seattle area! No joke!
I actually went outside for my latest vlog, but it has eased up by then – and now it’s seriously crazy, crazy rain! Tempted to re-shoot – but who has time for that! LOL!

Good luck with Toys R Us. I got in pretty easily there. You can also try Gamestop.com. They usually have the best prices on video games as well.
Going to let my medicine kick in so I’m not quite so stuffy for my vlog and try to find a nice corner of the house to film it in. It’s been pouring down rain since last night!

That’s such a pain about the Wii U! It’s such a big product, can’t believe Amazon isn’t selling it. Thanks for sharing though, because I am going to write about that for my toy membership, so I’ll have to let subscribers know about it too.

Hi Tiffany, that is such a bummer with Amazon. I don’t really know what they are up to these days. Silly to cut off their nose to spite their face! Hope you get approved with another affiliate program soon, so all that work doesn’t go to waste.
I bought your Squid guide and have created a Lego lens using your methods (and a couple of mine lol). I had already bought a bit of your Lego plr and had some more hidden on my hard drive, so finally it has been put to good use.

I plan to add more to it over the next couple of days. I must admit it’s a lot more work than the SPQ type lens. I hope it will pay off as it’s a super competitive topic!

Yes, good advice! I rewrote the lot in my own words and checked each sentence on google. I had a lens locked once before for a tiny little thing and although it was unlocked a couple days later, it killed my google rankings.
So am very careful these days.
Politics over toys… well, how bipartisan is that?! LOL
I’m not sure if maybe a company offers it over at CJ…but if I remember, you don’t like to use them so it may not matter.
Yeah I found it odd I never earned a penny on CJ when all other affiliate programs earned. LOL
Hi Tiffany. I love shopping at Amazon, but I haven’t concentrated on my affiliate program. My husband said that they were on the verge of bankruptcy. Don’t know if that’s true. I don’t shop for games or Wii, though.

Another great post. Sorry you are having trouble with your WII U lens. That’s unreal. Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for. By the way, I had one of my blogger blog sites removed today by Google. I remember when they did something like this to you. They told me the reason was it was SPAM? Not sure what they mean! This was a site I had up for quite a long time and it was chock full of free information. Just something for everyone to keep in mind. Free sites are great, but keep in mind that you don’t have any control over something like this. Take Care, Sam

I checked on Google for Target affiliate program and saw it is on the Google Affiliate Network.
I have not tried to join this program and wonder if anyone is registered and what is their opinion of this network?
I did but haven’t gotten word back. It’s all confusing to me.
I posted one today. I did get signed up at youtube so the videos now post – but this one shows you tube recommendations after my video gets done…so I am going to have to figure out how to fix that next.

Thanks for the information and commiserations on the WiiU outcome. The way you put the Squidoo Quick Commission Guide together deserves a better outcome. Hope you find an alternative.
And it raises the bigger matter of how dependent we are on third parties for success in this business. Sometimes I feel the model is flawed – you can go from success to ashes at the whim of say Google. What is your take on maintaining a sustainable business

Sorry about the Wii U lens. It’s a good one too. Just a word to the wise about using affiliate links other than Amazon’s on Squidoo.
There are quite a few that they blacklist. They don’t tell you upfront, but will let you know when you go to publish. I had affiliate links from a company I partnered with thru Share-A-Sale.com and they wouldn’t allow even one of them!
