Was It a One Hit MOMU Sale?

I am SO not in a good mood today. I feel horribly guilty but as a mom of three and a woman who works fulltime from home, I don’t have it in me to be a sandwich caregiver (meaning taking care of my parents at the same time). Praise for those who can. So until dad goes back to Florida (Saturday), I am pretty useless, doing the bare minimum.

Checking my stats – no more sales yet. Disappointed, of course. I hate new niches where I don’t have a mark made yet. It takes time to develop. But oh well. It’ll happen. I like everyone else have good positive days and yucky moody days :)

New lens keyword phrase I’m being found for:

caught him cheating won’t return his call

Chris from EZA emailed me back about figuring out what terms my articles are being found for – I had forgotten. He’s great about customer service, FYI – one of the few like that!

So you log in and click Author Tools, view my article reports. Under views, each article has a number. Click the number and then choose traffic search terms. It shows you what your article is found for. Mine are found for:

1.) girlfriend nice but won’t return emails
2.) how to chase back my ex-bf (geez, this one’s a little stalkerish don’tcha think?)
3.) Tiffanydow (okay who’s spying on me? LOL)
4.) you get your hopes up, but don’t get carried away too fast
5.) how to know if he is ready to reconcile

Not sure if I’ll do anything today. I have client work to do and I am not in a good mood. Grr.

Tiff ;)

    Hi Tiff,

Just had a (very) quick look around your lenses. The articles are great! But on the lenses I expected to see some more pre-selling of MOMU.

Maybe to put yourself in the shoes of someone who got dumped and how MOMU helped you.

I also think you should get an opt-in on there and build a relationship with these people… gain their trust. You are very good at that!

Here’s a snippet from that Niche Report I sent you “People in this niche can be a little slow to pull out their wallets. Because of
that, developing a relationship via email is incredibly helpful to boost potential
sales. It can sometimes take several follow-up emails before trust kicks in.”

[Edit: Dave I always direct people my business partner’s guide at http://www.squidootricks.com

I often find you get one sale in a new niche right off the blocks and then zip. I call them ‘lucky duck’ sales. I also find a lot of people then just give up when they get no more.

I know you won’t and other people shouldn’t either… persistence is the key and I know you know that.

Hope I’m not telling you how to suck eggs. ;)

    Best

    Dave B

PS. Great ‘Duck’ mail you sent out yesterday. You should put that on here.

    Hey Dave!

You are SO right about it but I don’t have my autoresponder emails set up yet. I WILL however go ahead and add a little preselling module to the lens. That’s a great idea! I’ll blog about it later and refer to your primary affiliate niche site credit.
    Thanks!

LOL! I knew I was telling you how to suck eggs on the opt-ins. But in a way, for the purposes of a live case study like this, it is better to show people how to build things up step by step.

Hitting people with opt-in forms, autoresponders, etc from the off sometimes intimidates people.

I forget that… I’m not a natural teacher… I just bark orders at people. Luckily I’ve got Thad to do that side. I’ve told him about this today so I’ll get him to chip in.

No you’re right – I needed to make a more prominent showing of the eBook. I am not a believer personally in telling people a fake “story” about how a product helped me get my ex back so I don’t do that. I’ll use a headline but not a story. But the opt ins will wait. I don’t launch those until I have plenty of autoresponders queued up and I’m not there yet :)
