What I’m Working On
Gosh it was Thanksgiving last time I blogged? Geez I’m getting bad about it.I think maybe I burned out on blogging during those 30 days I took off. LOL Well I wanted to check in and chat a bit about what I’m working on. This year was really weird for me. For the last what, 12 years now (?) I’ve ALWAYS run ghostwriting special in about October – and what I would do was sell about 10-15 eBook packages for $1,000 each. It always sold out.
So that was an instant $10-15 thousand dollars right before the holidays and right before tax time. But this year, remember I did away with ghostwriting. So I’m not used to managing my money in a slower pace. I LOVE it more because I’m not stressed out and overloaded with ghostwriting work. But it is odd to not just buy all my presents in one purchase and have to manage the money better over time rather than in spurts.
I’m working on a couple of things right now:
1.) PLR content. I still love this because it’s a residual form of income. Plus, people love it. They email me saying they’re surprised by the quality (I know what’s out there, too).
2.) Squidoo lenses for IPK. I’m creating lenses both for my own use and for sale as I flip lenses to my lens alert list. At $100 a pop, this is a great way to make up for my ghostwriting income bursts.
3.) An eBook for a fellow marketer. This isn’t for pay. This is because this person does a lot for me, so I’m repaying the person through the use of content.
4.) My own eBook on how to write for Internet Marketing. I haven’t forgotten about this. It’s coming along slowly but surely.
What are YOU up to? What’s excited you lately in the world of marketing? What goals do you have for wrapping up 2009 and moving into the 2010s?
