What You Can Learn From Tiffiney Cowan
Hi everyone! I mentioned Tiffiney Cowan in one of the branding challenge PDFs and I told her i’d be talking a little more about her. I don’t know Tiffiney WELL, just through the blog, emails, and we’re starting to get to know each other.
One thing I DO know? She’s a go getter. And many people standing on the diving board, knees shaking, could learn a thing or two from her. I grabbed her profile from the Warrior Forum because I like giving a face to the name.
Here she is – Tiff meet everybody! Everybody, meet Tiff!
She emails me excited about what she’s doing. She’s no Eeyore. She fumbles on something? Oh well, she takes it on the chin and gets back up ready to charge again. And THAT is why she’s making it so far, so fast – building a reputation as an above and beyond marketer.
So here’s some stuff I want you to see as an example of what she’s doing (I asked her permission to share):
First, Tiffiney doesn’t just think of a PLR topic and write it. Oh no. She was doing a PLR pack on Green Toys and THIS lady picks up her phone and CALLS the President and CEO to get info from him! Um, I’ve admittedly never done that in my research (hangs my head in shame).
Yesterday I sent out an email to my list about the conversation I had with Green Toys President and CEO, Robert von Goeben – and put a link in to my blog about the conversation http://tiffineysblog.com/a-conversation-with-green-toys-president-and-ceo-robert-von-goeben
THEN, she explains to her list of PLR buyers everything about the Google Panda issue. Now this is cool because she’s pairing the “I’m so on top of things go straight to the top and the horse’s mouth” with research and information her marketing clients may not know about.
She’s informing, she’s sharing, and she’s guiding them. She is NOT just selling to them.
And I talked about the Google Panda issue with another link to a blog post.
What sets her apart? Is it that she does this so she can brag about it and build her reputation so she can sell more? Nope. It’s because she’s ENJOYING this process. She’s enjoying the building of her foundation from small store to (I think) big time marketer one day. Look at her infectious attitude:
Anyway, my brain is so preoccupied with all the fun business-building stuff, and the little I’m beginning to grasp about building a strong business, that I am having a difficult time remaining focused on mundane tasks like cooking, cleaning, etc.. LOL! So fun! I love it!
Tiffiney isn’t being lazy about the ideas she learns from others like me – she IMPLEMENTS them.
Your mention of Panda and the little research I’ve done on it have convinced me that incorporating G+ (on top of twitter and a blog) is a good idea. It means that I can reach people in different ways and regardless of what any given search engine does, I still have a base to work with. So, getting onto G+ is now officially on my to-do list.
She’s not afraid to fail, either. She fails UP, as they say – meaning if she stumbles, it’s a lesson she learns from, and moves forward. When I asked her if I could share her email to me look what she says:
Of course, you can share anything of mine anytime – even if it’s something you see that I’m not doing well. I want to learn how to excel!
And MANY people would be shy and say “No! I’m offended if you share my failures with others. Wah!” That’s because they don’t have a giving and sharing mindset like Tiffiney does. Anyway, because she let me share this with you, I’m going to share her WSO link with you, too! Green Toys WSO
Let’s all give Tiffiney a standing ovation and round of applause for going above and beyond for her customers and for caring about them enough to inform them, too. I love to see good people doing good things!

Wow Tiff! When you asked if you could share some of those things I thought it would be a mention in one of your blogs. I’m humbled to discover that I’m the TOPIC of this post.
Thank you for cheering me on and encouraging me every step of the way!!!!!!
I opened my PLR store around the same time as Tiffiney and so I kept a close eye on her store(as well as others) to see how she and others were going about things. When I saw that see had contacted the President of Green Toys on the phone my jaw dropped. I love her style!
Not only that; when she releases a PLR pack she also then had follow up emails about the pack and the topic. Eg. She had follow up messages about the Kindle Fire and the privacy concerns that were in the news. She likes to keep people updated so that they can use her PLR in the best way possible. Now that’s how to do business!
You go Tiffiney! That is the way it is supposed to be done. I’m excited for you.
Thanks to you, too, Tiff. For showcasing her and allowing us to see how another internet marketer makes progress.
You girls ROCK!
Deb
Tiff,
This is a very inspiring post and very cool of you to shine the light on someone else on your blog. And way to go Tiffiney! It takes “intestinal fortitude” to call the chief executive officer of a company for product research. Keep up the good work
.
Ray
That’s wonderful. Keep up the great work Tiffiney!
Wow…you both rock.. Go Tiffiney and Tiffany!!
You’re inspiring some projects I have behind the scenes (so far) with your work, and I’m sure everyone who reads this will feel enthused to go out and climb higher!
Tiffiney, I love what you’re doing out here. You’re gonna be another one of those providers who give this industry a GOOD name! (Every one we can get out there is a plus!)
Tiffany, thanks for sharing info about Tiff. I saw her post. It’s great for those who bought her PLR to feel confident in using it (even if issues come up about the toy stuff), rather than ending up with it sitting on their hard drives collecting dust!
Way to go ladies!

Hi Tiff and Tiff:
To be quite honest, I RELATE to people who share their slips and failures better than I do to those who ONLY show their successes.
When I see professionals or those you think of as the go-to people slip and fail, it makes me feel… It’s ok for me to slip and fail on occasion. It shows me that “no one is perfect!”
Congratulations… Thank You… Tiff and Tiff for sharing.

Thank you for sharing about someone who is obviously moving up in the online world. It’s good to hear stories about how others are making a difference; their successes and failures. Tiffiney obviously has her ear to the ground and takes advantage of what she learns – just as you suggested.
Thanks to both of you for sharing …. you both have an amazing outlook in life and business – very cool!
(Think that it might be something to do with the name?)
Might be Rach! LOL But no
You are extremely generous Tiff and if anyone deserves this wonderful recommendation from you, it would certainly be Tiffiney. Congrats to her
and thanks Tiff, for sharing.
Thank you everyone for cheering me on!
Nathan – Knowing you’re watching is going to really keep me on my toes!
Ray – I literally laughed out loud when I read your “intestinal fortitude” remark!
Rach – I love I have the same name as Tiff. I’ll be thrilled to one day have the business she has!
Thank you Deb, Alice, Sally, Debi, Roz & Edie for all the kind words!
~ Tiff
Tiffiney always inspires me with commitment to whatever she takes on. Enthusiasm is one of her strongest traits.
Wow! That’s awesome! What an inspiration…makes me wanna work a little harder. Thank you for sharing her story, Tiff! <3
Thank you for introducting me to Tiffiney Cowan. I am impressed with her enthusiasm, too. Enthusiasm is as contagious as gloom and doom can be. I enjoy reading your posts, and those of your commenters, because they overwhelmingly choose to display an enthusiastic attitude over one that would prevent success.
Nice to meet you Tiffiney. I bought one pack. Thanks.
